Flexible and Fun

Mike is an awesome DJ who knows how to keep a party going. He is helpful in getting your crown to respond and effective when you need an announcement. He is open to your suggestions and requests for your music on your day. He is able to make small adjustments throughout the events to keep things flowing and running smoothly, so smooth you’ll forget he’s even there! He is stylish and energetic, willing to play a range of music based on the crowd.

The best!!

DJ Mike is the best! He DJ'd my cousins wedding a few years back, so it was a no-brainer to hire him for ours. He is incredibly professional, organized, and fun. Highly recommend!

Amazing guys!

Wow just Wow! Colton and Mike completely exceeded our expectation and were so incredible to work with! Mike from day one was quick to respond and kept everything very organized and detail oriented.
Our DJ Colton was unbelievable! We knew he was amazing, but he took our wedding reception at The Foundry to a whole other level. The dance floor was not empty since our first dance to when the party ended at 2am. All our family and friends have raved about the music and Colton's selections and transitions throughout the night saying they have never been to a wedding where people truly never left the dance floor because the music was so good!

He listened to exactly what we were looking for and the vibe we wanted and absolutely delivered. Colton knows his music!

Mike is awesome!

Mike was so great to work with and really knows how to keep a party going! I didn’t give him too much direction on music but he nailed it. He is also very away of the flow of the day. I enjoyed working with mike and totally recommend him for your next event!

Unbelievable night! Best DJ I've ever seen!

So stress free having Mike work our wedding! We had a big time but intimate wedding at the Fairmont in Seattle. Mike looked super sharp and everyone in our party loved him! Super quick to pass the mic super flexible and never once felt like he wasnt in charge, even with our curveballs, this guy ran our show! Going to book him again for our Christmas party this year for sure! Thanks for everything my brother! D&K

10/10 Would Recommend - Completely surpasses all expectations

One word...Amazing! Mike completely surpassed our expectations! His professionalism combined with his easy going personality made him the perfect fit for Sarah and I. We were planning a wedding from across the country, so as you can imagine we were quite stressed and overly communicative. Mike effortlessly eased all worries and responded to all of our emails and phone calls promptly and with great detail. Business aside, he was also very personable on and off the mic - definitely the type of guy we’d want to sit down and even just chit chat with as a friend. 10/10 would recommend using for your event.

Awesome DJ at a fair price. Couldn’t be happier with his work.

I booked DJ Mike for my wedding and my wife and I couldn’t have been happier with his service. First off, his sound was awesome. I’ve been to so many weddings with crap DJs and poor sound that I thought that was pretty much the standard. Definitely not the case here. He takes pride in the quality of his speakers and it shows.

He is also a great MC. DJ Mike has personality and confidence - no awkward DJ moments fumbling for words from him at all (something else I’ve cringed at far too many times).

Working with him was very easy and he was extremely accommodating to our requests. For the price, DJ Mike cannot be beat. I am so glad I chose to book him over others we considered. A winner in my book

Fun and flawless - we danced the entire night!

Our DJ, Colton, was fantastic. He did a perfect job reading the room, playing the right type of music at the right time, and keeping people dancing the entire night. We were impressed that the dance floor was never empty outside of during dinner -- and was packed the rest of the night!

He and Mike, who handles the advanced planning, were more than helpful and accommodating our special request of having our friends play a short, live set. Colton did a flawless job setting them up and mic'ing them, and they sounded great. That made our night really special.

Colton also did a great job emcee'ing and regulating requests from guests. We had several guests comment that he was quite the gentleman.

Mike's professionalism, organization, advice, humor and flexibility ahead of time was a pleasure and made the whole process very smooth and made it so we didn't have to worry at all.

Colton and Mike are not your average wedding DJ's. They feel like friends after our wedding and we give them our highest possible recommendation!

Best decision ever!

Mike is the BEST. When we were planning our wedding, we went back and forth on whether we wanted to book a DJ, or attempt to do music ourselves. We were nervous about getting a 'cheesy' DJ, or someone who would just play duds all night. We reached out to Mike and are SO glad we did. Mike is the perfect mix of fun and professional. It is clear that music is not just something he does on the side for fun, but is his passion.

He worked with us and our venue to make sure the set up was what we wanted. We had a cellist and violinist at our ceremony, two officiants, an outdoor/indoor setup for the reception, and a surprise accordion performance. He made sure that our guests could hear it all.

I can't say enough about Mike. He was helpful in every way, keeping us on track with our schedule and remembering all of our random and small requests. He really ran the night for us, and helped us throw a great party.

During our initial meeting with Mike, he told us if we wanted our guests to dance, we didn't have to worry about that - he would get them dancing. We had guests ranging from 2-90 years old and he was right - every single person danced at our wedding. It was spectacular!

Fantastic DJs!

We worked with DJ Mike Moovz and DJ Colton Drubli throughout the planning process, and DJ Colton was our day-of DJ. They were both great to work with - Colton had everything set up in a timeline manor there were no hiccups at all. They provided a pretty comprehensive survey for the music we wanted, and were also reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend them for any event! Thank you, Mike and Colton!

Mike was seriously the BEST DJ we could have asked for! It was so easy to communicate with him in the months, weeks, and days prior to our wedding. Any changes i wanted, he jumped on immediately. We even wanted songs i could only find on YouTube, and he made those happen, too. He was the “voice” of our wedding. We couldn’t be more pleased!

DJ Mike was incredible and he truly made our night perfect! He was extremely responsive with communication and ensured all our questions were answered. He was organized and provided a questionnaire months prior to our wedding to complete so that all our song requests could be met. He not only played all our requested songs, but he ensured the evening flowed and that we stuck to our timeline. Mike met with us months prior to the wedding to see the venue and brought all necessary equipment to have a setup in two locations at the venue. He went out of his way to ensure everything was setup and there would be no glitches. We had some specific song requests from Brazil and he found all of them! We couldn't imagine a better DJ for our wedding night and Michael went above and beyond all our expectations. We would highly recommend Michael with zero hesitation! He is the best and an incredible value! Thank you for making our night so special!

Mike Moovz deserves 10 Stars! Couldn’t speak highly enough about his service and professionalism! He did a phenomenal job with coordinating our wedding day music, and was a huge hit among all our friends and family. Mike did the best job at our wedding this past weekend! He kept the dance floor grooving and everyone had a great time. Also he rocked the cocktail hour/ceremony/dinner music mix as well. Leading up to the wedding he was very easy to work with and on top of everything. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a DJ!! DJ Colton Droubli made our wedding reception such an incredibly fun time. Everyone was dancing all night and a VERY discerning relative took me aside and said "this music is great". DJ Colton was a pleasure to work with and played great music that we loved. He played such a cool mix of awesome tunes, some things I knew I wanted, and some other really pleasant surprises. Before the event we just told him what kinds of music we liked, we gave him a "do not play" list, and let him do the rest. And it was perfect. Imagine the coolest person you know and now imagine their favorite playlist, and that's what he played. The volume was perfect, lowering for when courses we're served and people were eating, and getting higher for times when everyone was up dancing. It was never too loud. And when it was time for announcements (such as first dance, speeches, etc.), he was great. He wasn't like one of those DJs that takes the mic at a wedding and starts yelling and carrying on and taking over the event (I've seen too many of those). Everything was so tastefully done. And beyond cool and fun. He helped elevate our reception. He made it into the greatest party. We were so happy that we had DJ Colton at our wedding

What can I say?! DJ Mike Moovs went above and beyond to make our night special. All the way from effectively coordinating beforehand via email and phone to playing the best mix of music for our guests!! He was also an amazing emcee. I can't say enough positive things about him. Like everyone else has said--working with DJ Mike Moovz and Colton Droubli was amazing. Unlike some of the other DJ's we met with in planning, Mike and Colton really understood who we were. Mike was never pushy and we were super impressed with his professionalism through the entire process. This was the first time my husband and I have ever worked with a professional DJ before, so we really had no idea what the process or timelines should look like. Mike and his team were great, providing education when needed, coaching us through each of the steps, yet also being incredibly patient to allow us to work on our timeline.

Wedding Details: Outdoor ceremony and reception, indoor seated dinner. Total guests: 200

On the actual day of the wedding, DJ Colton arrived exactly on time and was cool, calm, collected and professional--exactly what we needed! He set up quickly and actively participated in the dry run of the evening, he even somehow collaborated with my husband to surprise me with a special song!

Doing an outdoor wedding in an urban environment could be challenging, but Colton set up the system perfectly. The speakers filled the area, and the wireless mics picked up every part of the ceremony. That special music my husband sang for me was one of the best-balanced audio setups I've heard in a long time--so much so that many of the guests thought it was a recording at first!

When we moved indoors for the dinner and toast, Colton had another great setup which balanced perfectly in the room--loud enough everyone could hear music, but quiet enough even those with hearing aids could have quiet conversations. Colton was present but unobtrusive, allowing him to actively help move the evening along while always be in the background.

We cannot thank Colton and Mike Moovz enough for helping to make our wedding an incredible day in our lives! We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone!

DJ Colton Droubli was amazing! We knew right away at our meeting he was the guy for us. He and DJ Mike were very professional and well prepared throughout the whole process. If you want to have a fun, energetic, and smooth running Wedding then Mike is your guy! We didn’t have to worry about anything because he took the time to get to know us as a couple. DJ Mike was awesome! I would definitely recommend his services to anyone! He was very responsive to our inquires and even went so far as to rent a projector for us to be able to show a slideshow! He totally understood what we wanted him to play and he didn't disappoint. He had everyone dancing the whole night and we've had multiple compliments from our guests on how great the music was! Mike was a fantastic DJ and we are so glad that we hired him for our wedding! Mike was responsive, professional, and helpful throughout the whole process. We wanted specific versions of songs and Mike got all of them correct! Dancing (and music) were a top priority for us at the wedding - Mike was extremely attentive to keep the dancing going all night. There was only one instance where people started to leave the dance floor and Mike changed the song immediately to get people dancing again. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike!

If you want the wedding of a lifetime, you have to book with DJ Mike!! He was amazing from the start. He was very quick with responses and upfront with his costs and the services he provided.
DJ Mike came early to set up and provided all the equipment for the ceremony and reception music (located in two separate rooms). He even practiced before the ceremony with our violinist to make sure it sounded perfect for my walk down the aisle. He was helpful in arranging the mics where we wanted them for toasts and made the uplighting in the room exactly what we wanted!! He was so accommodating and helpful!
At the reception, he pronounced all our names correctly while introducing the wedding party and he stayed on time with the timeline for announcing cake cutting, toasts and dances.
He was the perfect DJ - he was discrete, not making the announcements about him or trying to be a showman, etc. He was dressed so well, like he was a guest at the wedding. He played PHENOMENAL music!! We didn't give really any direction to what we wanted (aka requesting specific songs) and he had a PACKED dance floor ALL night!! From old hits of current songs, he played the perfect mix to keep the dance floor moving!! I had an overwhelming amount of guests tell me after the wedding that the music was the best they had ever heard at a wedding!!
I can not rave enough about DJ Mike!!

DJ Mike was awesome. There was massive traffic that backed everybody up and he still ended up arriving right in the window he gave. He was set up and playing music while we were finishing up with all of the decorations and last minute things, and he saw we were running and a little overwhelmed and got his hands dirty and helped with some of that even as well. The music selection was great, right what we asked for, and the timing on everything was great as well. DJ Mike did a great job and we couldn't have asked for a better man for the job.

DJ Mike Moovz was truly amazing!! Not only did he play great music throughout the entire wedding day (from happy hour to dinner and into the reception) and kept the guests dancing throughout the night but he also helped ensure the day ran on schedule, keeping the flow of the day on track, and did so in a way that didn't feel rushed or scripted. Mike was the absolute best dj we could've ever had!! The dance party was the most important part of the ceremony for me and he had everyone, and I do mean everyone, dancing the whole time. Our guests kept commenting that it was the highest percentage of dancers they'd ever seen at a wedding. He was so organized, so on top of everything, did everything seamlessly, and was easy and fun to work with. We HIGHLY recommend his amazing services. Thanks Mike Moovz!!!

We first experienced Mike while on a Princess Cruise. When I found out he was from the states and was willing to travel to LA from Washington, we were thrilled to find that he would be off of the ship in time for our wedding. He was very versatile. We had our ceremony outside in a park and the reception inside at a local bar and grill. He was able to work with both environments very well and brought all of the tools necessary to keep us focused on our wedding and not on the details. You won't be disappointed if you choose to work with Mike!

DJ Mike Moovz provided exactly what we wanted for our wedding DJ. He was very responsive via email as we were planning and was kind enough to meet us in Seattle (despite living south of Tacoma) to get to know us. His event paperwork made the music selection and MC talking points easy and he delivered on everything. He was early to the venue and had everything set up well before guests arrived. He was able to set us up with a microphone and speakers for the ceremony which was outside and separate of the reception music. Our guests loved the music and it inspired some pretty unique dance moves! We would highly recommend Mike for your wedding or event!

I would 100% recommend Mike to anyone.

Weeks before the wedding he had an extensive questionnaire that helped make sure he could run the evening smoothly... and boy did the evening run smoothly! We threw so many curveballs at Mike throughout the night and he hit them all out of the park. We took too long to walk down aisle and so he had to make a song last a little bit longer than it actually was, we decided to cut the cake at a random time, and we were running around with our heads cut off before the wedding (offering him little guidance), and yet he set-up everything perfectly and was ready to go way before needed.

He helped us stay on schedule as best possible but was ready for any schedule changes we needed.

Our dance floor was full the entire night. I think this attests to his crowd-reading abilities. He was able to throw in a song that my our older relatives who enjoy line-dancing could enjoy, while making sure he didn't play anything long enough to clear off the floor.

The special dances (bride & groom/ mom & groom/ father & bride) were flawless.

Mike dressed professionally and his performance was nothing short of that. He is definitely a professional at what he does and I was so happy with his services.

I think what we paid for him was absolutely ABSOLUTELY worth the price. He helped tweak his services to fit our budget and I couldn't be more satisfied with what we received for that value.

Mike was very flexible for phone conversations, emails, and times for the wedding. He made us feel like he was there to serve us and that the night was all about our marriage, not like he was only there for the money and then was going to dip out when he had done his time.

Mike was an absolutely perfect, professional, expert, smooth DJ and host, and a reliable communicator and skilled event host for our wedding. I had no idea what to expect from a DJ, and boy, was I thrilled with Mike. No obnoxious chatter, just one perfect tune and announcement after another. My guests raved about him. He kept a really close eye Ion me and the other key people , and if something needed to happen, all I had to do was look at him and he got it, like he'd been doing this for 50 years. He looked very handsome in his formal wear, and I was proud to have him there. He made me look great. Hire this guy. He's fantastic.

DJ Mike Moovz was great for our wedding of 85 guests! I would definitely recommend him to others. He was professional and friendly and followed our directions clearly. He was a great MC for the evening, following our schedule and even coordinating with event coordinator and photographer. Everyone said he was great and VERY nice. He also had awesome lights - uplighting that changed colors and my special request of a disco ball! Five stars for sure!

We found Mike at a friend's wedding he was DJing. Up until that point we were going to just have a playlist. We had so much fun dancing at that wedding and my friend gave rave reviews that we reached out. He was accommodating with our budget and allowed us to have another part of the wedding that we didn't have to worry about. Very professional. Communication was easy and his questionable made it simple for us to get the tone and specific songs we wanted. Everything came together perfectly. The lighting he brought was a total awesome surprise too.

We used DJ Mike for our wedding and were satisfied beyond our expectations. Mike adapted to the crowd as the night progressed resulting in more and more people on the dance floor. Despite playing to the crowd, he ensured that the setlist truly represented us as a couple, by asking us for must-play songs and what genres of music we enjoy. He was an absolutely incredible DJ, but besides that he was incredibly helpful and kind, especially when it came to suggesting songs for our parents and grandparents entrances (which was much more difficult than expected).

My wife and I will definitely recommend Mike Moovz to friends!

Thank goodness we found Michael as our wedding DJ, we wouldn't change a thing about how it went. DJ Mike was absolutely wonderful! Everyone who interacted with him told me that, not only was he incredibly polite, but he was also professional and focused on making our day unforgettable. We loved his song selection, as he played the songs we requested and added a fun mix of tunes that got people dancing. When I came up to him to ask him to make an unplanned announcement, he took it in stride and was so accommodating. He followed the ceremony song order flawlessly and was on point all day. All in all, we were very satisfied with Mike as our DJ and would recommend him to anyone!

Mike is the embodiment of professional. He's very thorough and makes sure he has enough information to do his job well. His work ethic made planning much easier and allowed us to trust that one aspect of our wedding will be well taken care of. Took our deposit and ghosted

We hired this DJ for our summer of 2020 wedding. He was professional and helpful in the beginning. He even agreed to move our wedding date when COVID hit. Unfortunately, it’s been two years and we haven’t heard from him since. Took $580 for our deposit and now refuses to answer calls, texts, or emails. We’ve been kind and understanding and have received nothing in return. At least communicate with us! RUN AWAY (although he probably won’t answer your inquiry anyway).
