Organized, Professional and Great Performance

DJ4U is top notch! Great planning site for all the details. Communication was easy and responded quickly. Gary was fantastic! Very professional, kept the reception on point, and had the dance floor full. The Photo Booth was a hit and alot of fun. Thank you for a memorable night!

The Perfect Soundtrack to Our Wedding Day!

DJ4U was nothing but amazing for our wedding. They have a perfect system to completely plan out how you want your event to go and what your specific music choices are. Gary was our DJ and he did such a great job of matching the vibe for the entire night. He was so much fun and so kind! We also got a photo booth package and it was such a great way to get more fun pictures of our guests! My husband and I cannot express our gratitude enough to DJ4U for providing exceptional service from beginning to end.

Working with DJ4U was a great experience. They are incredibly easy to communicate with. They address any questions you have and respond very quickly. Our DJ did great at the reception,and even takes time to discuss the plan with you before the big day. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Service!

Fantastic Service! Very happy, we hired DJ4U to come for the rehearsal and then the ceremony. We needed a battery operated system since it was outside with no electricity. John even assisted the wedding planner with the entry door frame that fell down in the wind. Would highly recommend!

Best DJ Service

I truly enjoyed working with DJ4U for our wedding! We were in constant communication and if I ever had a question, I received a response very quickly! I would HIGHLY recommend their services! The DJ the night of was great and the photo booth attendant was a great help too! The Photo Booth was another great way to get photos from your guests and a great keepsake as well!

The BEST DJ Company

There is no other choice when it comes to a wedding DJ... DJ4U is by far the greatest company I've ever worked with. Their website is SO easy that it makes it SO much fun to pick the songs you want! I went into my wedding without a worry in the world because I knew DJ4U has the experience to make my wedding the most special day. They are so professional, kind, fun to work with. Ethan and Andrew are 2 of the coolest guys I have ever met and made the night so much fun! Thank you DJ4U for being the best DJ company in the world! Amazing and accommodating!!

DJ4U went ABOVE and BEYOND for our wedding! Our catering left everything unopened and completely packaged and when it came time for dinner, the DJ4U team immediately jumped in and helped serve and get EVERYTHING ready! They were so accommodating and made sure that we needed absolutely nothing during our reception! I cannot recommend them enough!

Wedding Professionals

Laura and Jason were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process with scheduling and making sure everything was perfect for our wedding day. Jason and his partner Josh, who ran our photo booth, did an incredible job! The option for the photo booth was awesome. It was such a hit at our reception! Jason was a great host for our evening and kept everything running smoothly. Highly recommend DJ4U for any event!

Highly recommend!!

We had the absolute best experience with DJ4U! Josh was so accommodating and kept everything very professional. We received so many compliments on the playlist.. our dance floor was packed until the very last song. He even offered to get my husband and I drinks at one point. Highly recommend!

Review of DJ4U

John (DJ) & Josh (Photo booth) were awesome! And Laura (Director of Operations) was a huge help in getting our event set up. She answered emails promptly. Phone calls were easy to set up with her. All involved paid great attention to detail. I loved that you filled out a timeline with John, & that’s what he followed. It made my daughter’s wedding reception flow perfectly! Our guests also loved the photo booth. Josh printed out a lot of photos! They have cute & funny props to use. And the bride & groom get a book with a copy of every photo taken, which is a wonderful keepsake. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat! Thank you DJ4U!

Best DJ service in Central IL

This company is PERFECT. Communication was amazing, along with flexibility and time management! They were accommodating to all the changes during Covid and LD made our wedding so much fun. After everything that we went through to plan the wedding, it’s amazing to have such great vendors to help us make memories. We had so many last minute changes and they were right there ready to help. Also, GET THE PHOTO BOOTH. It was almost as fun as dancing and looking at the pictures afterwards was so much fun.

Great experience!

I heard about DJ4U from nearly every venue I considered for our wedding--always heard wonderful reviews. Their price wasn't the cheapest, but it also wasn't the highest. They did a fantastic job communicating with me up through the date of the wedding--I didn't have to reach out to them the month of the wedding, they reached out to me to remind me of details. The DJ did a wonderful job organizing the playlist we gave him to keep people dancing throughout the evening. I had SO much fun. They also had light displays that really set the dance floor apart when the dance floor opened. Amazing service--would highly recommend!

DJ4U was wonderful to work with, and did an AMAZING job on our wedding reception! My husband and I were nervous with picking a DJ because we had seen some wedding receptions flop due to a bad DJ. We clearly had nothing to worry about with DJ4U. They were excellent in communicating with us to make sure we had a DJ to perfectly reflect what we were looking for. We used the photo booth as well from DJ4U, and our guests LOVED the different options. I only made it to a few pictures, but only because our DJ was playing too many excellent songs, and I couldn't tear myself away from the dance floor.

Our guests all thought we threw an amazing party, but we couldn't have done it without an even more amazing DJ. We also loved that we were able to keep all of our pictures from the photo booth, provide a gift copy for our friends and family who took the picture, and they even made a complimentary photo album with the pictures.

DJ4U did a wonderful job of communicating with us before and during the wedding. I loved having the option to choose "must play" and "do not play" songs in the online gallery. They were also able to easily accommodate our last minute requests, including adding ceremony sound and equipment for a live performance by one of our friends to our contract. They did a great job of keeping all ages interested in the dance floor. And the photo booth was awesome too!

DJ4U provided wonderful entertainment at our wedding this weekend! My husband and I had a non-traditional reception in a small venue with less than 100 guests. Our lead DJ, Justin, and his colleague were incredibly accommodating to our unique reception structure. Everything, from the beginning stages of planning with Laura to the final song of the evening, was perfect! We are very thankful to everyone at DJ4U and highly recommend their services!

We loved the great service we received from DJ4U. Justin, our DJ4U should, did a fantastic job. We received so many comments from our guests, young and old alike. They were great!! We did the package with the photo booth so we had two people from DJ4U at our reception. All of the music we requested was played and they did a great job switching it up from slow to fast songs to give the reception a variation of music. I have no complaints about DJ4U and would highly recommend them!

We had Max as our DJ and he did a wonderful job putting all of our music selections together. The whole day went so smooth and the music sounded great for our outdoor ceremony. There was always people on the dance floor the rest of the night! DJ4U was very professional from the very beginning. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

DJ4U did an amazing job at our wedding this past April. They were professional, knowledgable, and so easy to work with. From the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception DJ4U kept things going on time and so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything. We had both their DJ and photo booth services. These guys were dope. They made the night a blast for a wide variety of people at our wedding, and we had everyone there from more traditional family members to wild college friends. They also were totally on top of handling our ceremony and brought their photo booth, which I liked because it's open and you can fit way more people in a picture than an enclosed booth.

Everything about DJ4U was spot on! They were very professional and up to date on all the new music! The wedding went without a hitch! Everyone loved the music and the photo booth was an awesome touch! I would definitely recommend!!

I could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than DJ4U! From the start they were so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make every detail exactly what I wanted, from choosing the up lighting colors to designing a custom photobooth strip. So most importantly, the DJ... we had Johnny and he was AWESOME! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and people we never expected to see dancing were out there busting move! There was never a dull moment or an awkward transition. His assistant managed the photobooth and my favorite thing about that was that he would print as many strips as there were people in the photo and not just the standard two pictures. That way everyone got a copy! I've never seen another company do that. The other great thing they offer is their planning website where you can enter your timeline and request songs or create a do not play list - which they stick to! Overall, I was extremely happy with their professionalism and knowledge and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to have a flawless wedding reception!

This DJ service was perfect for our wedding! They were very responsive to emails and questions we had before the big day. We were able to speak directly with our DJ a few days before to go over name pronunciation and details of timing. The website that they have for entering playlists and timelines is super easy to use and the DJs followed our suggestions. The DJs were very friendly and personable. We also used the photo booth service, which was a big hit! They helped to make our day perfect!

DJ4U is, hands down, the best DJ in the Peoria area. By hiring DJ4U, we could rest assured that we would not have to worry about anything regarding our wedding reception. They quickly return phone calls and emails, and review everything with you the week of the wedding. You have the option to have as much or as little interaction with the DJs as you'd like. My groom and I chose to have more interactive DJs, which was perfect for our guests! The dance floor was absolutely packed the entire night. With a DJ company, you absolutely get what you pay for. The music was great and Nathan had our guests dancing on the dance floor all night long. The photo booth was a great bonus and we received compliments from many of our guests on how much it added to our event. We are so happy with the way everything went and it made for a memorable wedding reception.

Thanks, DJ4U, for making my wedding reception a success!! DJ4U was very flexible and catered to exactly what I wanted. The online form was extremely detailed and helpful in planning the evening. During the reception, I really appreciated how attentive Nathan was to the flow and timing of the evening, in particular checking in with the bride and groom before proceeding with the next item in our schedule. Also the volume of music was really great - not to loud to blast out other guests who were visiting, but loud enough to keep the dance floor engaged! I would definitely recommend DJ4U!!

We had Hunter and Tim for our wedding ceremony and reception. These two did a phenomenal job. They kept everyone dancing all night long and held true to all requests of the bride & groom. We cannot thank them enough!

In addition, my husband and I have attended several weddings where other DJ4U employees provided the entertainment and their work was excellent as well.

I was a guest at a wedding that DJ4U did. The dj's were fun and professional and we had a great time. They had room lighting and put initials on the dance floor too. It was so pretty.

Tim was our dj through DJ4U. The company as a whole was awesome during our 2 year engagement. Planning the music from 2 hours away was very easy with their online programs. Tim was very flexible throughout the whole night to work with whatever came our way. He seemed as though he had a lot of fun, which in turn made our guests feel more welcome and enjoy themselves.

DJ4U was FANTASTIC! The pre-planning forms are great and it only took one phone call with Jason after submitting our forms to finalize details. Being a hands-on bride, the day of the wedding could have been very stressful. However, I had no doubt whatsoever that Jason and his team would take my vision and turn it into reality. DJ4U was wonderful for us! They went above and beyond to please and make our night very special. My husband and I had to leave our reception to be on the St. Jude Telethon (my husband was a childhood cancer survivor and St. Jude wanted to show his original story and get an update from him) DJ4U was able to set up a screen and show the telethon to our wedding guests so our family and friends would not miss us on TV! They also were able to keep the party going until we returned afterwards. I have been to many weddings that DJ4U was doing, and they were always great!

The DJ company we originally hired for our wedding wouldn't commit to providing us with a specific DJ we had worked with the entire time, so 4 weeks prior to our event, we contracted with DJ4U. Lucky for us, March was a slow month to get married in, so they were able to provide us with an excellent experience. They kept the dance floor full, honored our requests, and showed exceptional taste and professionalism. They were also extremely easy to work with via the internet site and very responsive to any questions we had. Great service!

My wife and I interviewed SIX DJs (and emailed a half a dozen others) in the Central IL area for our reception on 1/12/13 in Peoria, IL. Prior to our interviews we sent out a LONG AND THOROUGH questionnaire that we asked each potential DJ to fill out in advance of our meeting. I wanted to see who wanted our business, who was professional, detailed and customer service oriented. I should have thrown all of the other questionnaires away and canceled every other meeting/interview after I read Jason Parkinson's questionnaire (from DJ4U).

Jason was THE MOST detailed, professional and customer service oriented out of all of the DJs. When Jes and I met with the DJ4U crew (Jason and Taylor), we instantly hit it off. He had done my friend's reception (Jessica Moroz Weglarz and Frank Weglarz) and I was impressed with everything. He was able to get people on the dance floor, didn't talk a lot (like many DJs I've seen), and kept it professional, fun and classy.

After the interview, on the drive home, we called Jason and immediately booked him up. He apparently wanted to work with us as well and he assured us that he was free our weekend and he would personally be our DJ.

Now, I know there are many DJs in the Central IL area. Trust me, I interviewed the best of the best. But you will NOT regret writing that deposit check to book DJ4U. From the get go everything was a breeze - their website was easy to navigate, set our timeline of events, and communication with Jason was almost instant. He got back to me within minutes or an hour. I never had to wait more than an hour or so to hear from him. Loved everything about them and so will you!

DJ4U was excellent!! I could not have been happier with Joe's professionalism, respect, attitude and overall performance. DJ4U was always willing to help in the planning and was the least stressful vendor we dealt with. As the Bride I literally knew I didn't have to worry about the DJ because we were on the same page. The DJ had a great sense of the crowd and knew when they needed to be revived and only bothered us when it was absolutely necessary (ie., when it was time to corral us up for the last dance). I was completely impressed with DJ4Us professionalism, assistance with the planning process and their performance that night. i couldn't recommend a better DJ.

DJ4U was awesome. We were living in the Chicago Suburbs while planning a wedding in Peoria so it was super convenient to do most of the work online. The day of was great! Chad was the one running everything and he was super nice and helped out with knowing I was running behind. The best of everything was the lighting they did. It was so beautiful and at night when the gazebo became the dance floor it was gorgeous.

DJ4U Handled the reception for my daughter (Stefani) and her new husband Andy Hood.

Chad and Ryan DJ'd the reception and did an awesome, professional job. They handled the whole reception event from introductions to the nights end. They kept things moving and provided enough help with teaching dances to help get everyone involved and having fun.

They are a great value for what they bring to the party. Allowing you to visit, dance and enjoy the time with you're family and friends. I would strongly recomend allowing them to entertain with you at any gathering or event you have in mind. They handle it all.

Also a huge A+ for the design of their web site. So easy to get on and get started. The are so prompt at getting back to you on any questions you have using the site. It's like they just sit there waiting to answer any questions you may have and keep you totally up to date on anything they may need. So...easy to work with through the site!!!

DJ4U was a wonderful addition to my reception. They did a great job of setting the mood and the tone and keeping things moving along. Having a DJ was the one thing that I was wary of, but they were fantastic. I didn't want a highly interactive DJ, which I specified, and they were just the right amount of 'involved' to keep things running smoothly. They followed all music requests that I gave, and everyone at my reception had a great time dancing! I didn't even know I had such a big dancing group! Much enjoyed by all and I would recommend to anyone!

My husband and I loved working with DJ4U! They were professional and accommodating, and we were very happy with their services. They provide an online planner that was really helpful in chossing our songs and they made sure they had everything we wanted. We even provided them with a list of around 100 songs to play during our dinner, and they played them all! They will be as interactive with the crowd as you want, and you can't beat their music selection. Their DJs are very personable and know how to work the crowd well. They've got a lot of different packages, so you can make it work even if you are on a budget. Go with DJ4U and you won't regret it. We are very happy with our choice and recommend them to all our friends!

Jason and his gang turned our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception into a wedding SPECTACULAR! They were professional, yet fun, and definitely knew what they were doing. Their equipment was state of the art and sounded outstanding. They listened to what the bride and groom wanted and gave them more, through music and interactive games for our guests. DJ4U was always quick to respond, and they have a nice site to complete forms/song requests. It was nice that you get a brief phone call the week of the wedding to discuss some details. They were flexible with us during the wedding as some last-minute changes occurred. Overall, they were great!

They went above and beyond to make our reception special, fun and a night to remember for our guests. They traveled to Canton where our reception was and they were accommodating at our venue. I always recommend them to any friend who is getting married, without a doubt.

We hired DJ4U for our wedding reception on 7/2/11. They did a great job and kept the party going until midnight. In addition to DJ services, they provided us with lighting which we did not fully appreciate until we got to see our pictures. After looking at a few other vendors, they were a great choice!

DJ4U really exceeded our expectations for a DJ service at our wedding. They were extremely flexible, paid attention to the smallest details, and were totally accommodating. My husband and I decided to change our first dance song a couple hours before the event, and our DJ was able to find the new song and just flow with it, something we appreciated greatly. Months after our wedding reception guests would comment about how wonderful the reception was, and I know a large part of it was due to DJ4U and how entertaining and interactive they were, even getting out on the dance floor with our guests to teach them new dances and help everyone have a good time. I would highly recommend this DJ service to anyone wanting to plan an awesome party event!

Too loud to converse with each other

Played my daughter's wedding this past weekend. Would not recommend. Unless you specify that you would like to carry on a conversation during your reception. Music was so loud during dinner we couldn't talk to each other without yelling. The loudness of the music literally chased everyone outdoors. Set up was nice but just too much. A few danced but most of us hung out outdoors. They did however do a great job during the ceremony.

Thank you for the feedback on Shelby & John’s wedding this past weekend. I want to apologize for the volume of music you experienced. In a large room like the Cannery, managing the volume of the music and toasts is always a challenge and sometime results in tables that are closer to the DJ booth experiencing a louder volume than those tables that are further away.

We always recommend that our clients take this into account when doing their floor plan and avoid placing tables right next to where the DJ booth is planned, but we know sometimes that’s unavoidable.
