Dj wes was awesome

As the title says, DJ Wes was awesome! We can’t recommend him enough! From the first conversation we had with him til the last, he was nothing but a true professional.

We had to postpone our original wedding date bc of some health issues and Wes didn’t blink when we told him the news. He was incredibly flexible and worked with us through that part of the process.

He was also great in helping us understand exactly how much music we’d have to pick and what there would actually be time to play(trust me it’s way less than you think).

We originally had his full equipment/lighting package booked, and after working another wedding at our venue a few weeks before, he told us he didn’t think we’d need all that we were about to pay for. That shows a ton of honesty and integrity on his part because it cost him a little money. He didn’t have to do that and we greatly appreciated it. As everyone knows when they’re planning a wedding, it all adds up, and every dollar counts.

On the actual wedding day, he showed up right on time, was very organized with the events/schedule of the evening, honored all the songs we had picked out to play, and did a great job of keeping the dance floor going.

Lastly, an added bonus of hiring Wes, is he brings his own camera and takes photos of everything throughout the night from his point of view as the DJ. We got those photos yesterday(about 9 days after ceremony so very quick) and they WERE GREAT! It was almost like having a second wedding photographer.

If you need an AWESOME DJ for your wedding or any other special event, we highly recommend giving DJ WES a call bc he’ll absolutely deliver! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING WES! So glad you were part of our perfect day!

Absolutely excellent—can’t thank DJ Wes enough! Simply Amazing!

DJ Wes was absolutely wonderful to work with from the very beginning. He provided great insight and guidance on how to prepare our song selections and music lists, offering thoughtful suggestions we hadn’t even considered. He truly thinks about the audience and overall experience for you!
He carefully reviewed and worked with our playlists, including Vietnamese songs and special requests, making everything feel personal and seamless. He was also an excellent MC—the transitions between songs and different segments of the evening were incredibly smooth.
DJ Wes interacted with our guests in a fun but balanced way, which I really appreciated. One of my bridesmaids even commented on how affordable his services were compared to other wedding DJs she’s experienced, especially given the high quality.
I can’t say enough great things about DJ Wes—he truly felt like a family member who wanted nothing but the best for our wedding day. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a CD of all our songs the very next day. It’s such a meaningful keepsake, especially since the night goes by so quickly. He even took amazing photos!
I highly recommend DJ Wes without a second thought!

Can’t Recommend Enough!!

DJ Wes djed our wedding reception, and it was absolutely phenomenal!! He was organized and responsive, very knowledgeable and helpful in planning the order of the reception, and read the vibe of the room perfectly! We wanted a party to celebrate our marriage and DJ Wes gave us exactly that! Highly highly recommend!

Wedding DJ for the Win

One of the biggest decisions you make for your wedding is your DJ, and you can’t go wrong with DJ Wes! He was beyond helpful and professional, and honestly brought details to my attention that I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. DJ Wes has a system that makes the process so easy and fun! He really made the night so much more fun!

Exactly what we wanted!

My husband and I, and all of our guests, loved DJ Wes! He made the planning process seamless. You can definitely tell by his professionalism and knowledge truly how experienced he is with DJing weddings. I had an absolute blast at my wedding reception thanks to DJ Wes and couldn’t recommend him enough!

Perfect dj for our wedding!

DJ Wes was professional, caring, and obviously put a lot of work and time into what he prepared for our wedding! He took time to have meetings with us to make sure he got to know us and exactly what we wanted. He is very versatile and fit the needs of our wedding perfectly. Cheers to DJ Wes!

We are so glad we decided to go with DJ Wes for our wedding! He was with us through every step and allowed for several meetings leading up to the date to finalize song choices, timeline, and provide recommendations based on his time in the industry. He really knows what works! He is excellent at hyping up the dance floor and encouraging people to dance. Not to mention he takes photos during your day which are so fun to look at and share immediately after the big day. Couldn't recommend enough!

Outstanding service and great entertainer

Very professional and thorough in meeting with you ahead of time to iron out all the details and plan for every detail of our wedding. Wes had some great ideas for ways to keep the crowd entertained and they were a big hit at our reception. We would highly recommend him for any DJ services you need. Also highly recommend the light package it added that extra flair for our wedding!

Fantastic DJ Service!

100 stars!!

Mr. Wesley is by far the best DJ ever!! I can’t recommend him enough! Not only did everything go so smoothly, he helps you plan what goes in what order, he takes PLENTY of pictures, and keeps EVERYONE on the dance floor. I gave him free range of the music played during the reception and let me tell you, he did not disappoint. I am SO SO SO glad we went with him!! The pictures on 12/3/2022 will show I am not exaggerating when I say he is the best!! He also schedules zoom meetings whenever works best for you to ensure he gets every detail right. You can truly truly tell he cares so much about each individual wedding.
We also added the lighting package!! There’s so many different options!

Such a GREAT Experience!

We are SO grateful that we found Wes to DJ at our wedding reception. He was wonderful to work with! The communication was great from start to finish, and DJ Wes definitely made our vision for lights and music come to life! Our guests are still telling us how much they loved his idea for the ending sing-along song! My husband and I could not recommend DJ Wes enough!

We had DJ Wes DJ for our wedding reception and we would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their upcoming event. DJ Wes was very helpful leading up to the wedding in helping to plan out the night and offer suggestions and recommendations on different things that he's experienced and whether they went well or not. He stayed in touch all throughout the planning process and was very accommodating to any ideas that we requested. On the wedding night, he brought the energy and kept people on the dance floor all night. We had so much fun at our wedding reception and DJ Wes was a crucial part of the night! DJ Wes is the way to go

We got married in a private ceremony and had a reception after the fact to celebrate with family and friends. I was given the recommendation for DJ Wes and from the beginning he was nothing but helpful. We were unprepared for our reception and Wes helped us not only select the right playlist, but helped us plan our night. No extra charge just did it out of his kindness. We let him choose most of the songs because it was hard for us to choose. Wes hit the nail on the head and helped create an amazing night.

Great DJ! Highly recommend

DJ Wes was great to work with! We decided to hire him based on reviews and my initial phone call with him and I’m so glad we did! Before the wedding he met with us to discuss our timeline and music. He played all the songs that we wanted him to and did a good job at reading the room and getting people to the dance floor! If you’re looking for a DJ for your wedding or event I highly recommend DJ Wes!

Highly Recommend DJ Wes

I cannot recommend DJ Wes enough. He listened to exactly what we wanted, he was communicative, and the planning meeting he offers was beyond helpful in ensuring the flow of the wedding was seamless. We had so much fun, and it was exactly what we wanted. He was great at reading the room and getting people involved and excited. I had so many people rave about how awesome the music was. If you're in need of a wedding DJ, or a DJ for any event, I highly recommend! He was a crucial part in helping our night be a success!

10/10 Would Recommend

DJ Wes was recommended by my fiancé after my fiancé attended a wedding DJ Wes had been hired for. We were very pleased with his pricing, timeline (setting up initial and follow-up meetings, and week of timeline), and professionalism. Due to COVID, we had all our meetings on Zoom which allowed for more flexibility when setting times. He made our planning process much easier due to his experience and made wonderful recommendations when we were unsure of songs, timelines, and what to include or exclude. The song list provided was extensive and extremely helpful in deciding how to set the tone for our ceremony and reception. We had a small wedding and reception and DJ Wes helped everything flow smoothly from one event to the next. If you are planning to start a song in the middle for an entrance/exit, I would recommend listening to the version he has in his library and letting him know the time stamp of where you want the song to start before the event/during setup.

Fuller Wedding Reception

DJ Wes was so great in helping us plan for our wedding day and sat down to talk to us and find out what we wanted for music. He gave us lists of popular music choices for everything from the first dance to the cake cutting. He handled the music during both our ceremony and reception and it was perfect! DJ Wes did amazing! He kept all guests moving & grooving all night! Sound was amazing. Sadly people couldn’t hear the preacher but no worries. He was very good at picking up on the guests vibes. 100% recommend !

Thank you so much. We did a full test of the mic before the ceremony and everything worked as it should. I came home and set up all my gear and did some testing. The transmitter mic had a short in it and would cut out if bumped just right. So I bought a replacement mic already so that doesn't happen again! Unfortunately, technology can really be a challenge sometimes when there are so many points of opportunity for failure. But in the end we had a great celebration and I thank you for letting me be a part of it!

Absolutely perfect

Wes was awesome start to finish! We met him at Starbucks just to get a feel of who he was and we knew from our first interaction he was the DJ for us. He is very professional and attentive. He was flexible with our request and provided lots of help and suggestions for timing, songs, and flow on our wedding day. He also made it fun and enjoyable for our guest. At the end of the night he presented us with a CD of all of our music from the wedding night, one of the best gifts we received. I highly recommend him.

Great dj!

Dj Wes was extremely helpful during the planning of the reception and how the night would flow. It made for a stress free night! We all had such a great time and the kids really enjoyed the magic! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a DJ.

Goes Above and Beyond - Great to Work With

Wesley is an awesome DJ. We found him through wedding wire 30 days before our wedding when our originally DJ dropped out. Not only was it his OWN wedding anniversary, he worked with us to make sure our songs were the correct versions, kept everyone on the dance floor, and that he had all the right contact info so that the bride and groom could enjoy their day. We were so glad to celebrate with Wesley and loved that he showed up in his own Memphis attire and gave us game updates throughout the wedding (Go Tigers!!). Our guests loved seeing us chant the fight song. He kept the crowd entertained and there was never a dull moment. We wish we could get married all the time so he could DJ for us!

Hensley-Boggs Wedding

We met with DJ Wes, and he helped to come up with a plan for the service and all that we wanted included in our wedding- helped to keep us on track and not leave anything out. Also mixed music for father/daughter dance -which was perfect! From start to finish he kept the crowd involved and included some magic tricks for the little ones. We will definitely recommend him to everyone we know!!

Awesome DJ!!

DJ Wes was absolutely awesome and I highly recommend him for any event, especially weddings! He did our ceremony and wedding reception, which were at two separate places. He was priced great, incredibly helpful and gave much needed guidance. He was very flexible and even added our ceremony to the job last minute to help accommodate us. He helped guide us with the gameplan for the night and helped us pick music. All the guests had a blast and the music was perfect! A mix for all ages, which was so appreciated!! He even gave us our wedding music on a cd when it was over! The best! Cannot beat DJ Wes!!!! Plus, he even tasked additional photos for you!

40th High School Class Reunion

Wes was a great guy, and a very easy going DJ to work with. I gave him a general idea of the timeline of events, and the music we were looking for, and he made some excellent suggestions. We were also able to rent dance floor lighting and up-lights from him, without worrying about another vendor to deal with. DJ Wes is very easy going and will allow you to customize your song list. You can be as general or specific as you want, and he's helpful getting you started. He also gave great advice about coordinating the timing of the songs with the cake cutting, etc., and he is also adept at improvising should specific parts of your event go faster or slower than scheduled.

The one thing that brings a wedding together and makes it fluent is the DJ.

DJ Wes did exactly that. His equipment makes it fun and gives life to the party. He kept our wedding reception vibrant and kept our friends and family engaged and entertained. I was so pleased with what a great job he did. Everyone had so much fun at our reception and it wouldn't have happened without him. He also takes pictures! To be fair, they aren't professional, but they did capture the essence of the moment.

I can't speak highly enough of DJ Wes. He was worth every penny.

If I ever need to hire a DJ again, I will plan my event around DJ Wes’s schedule! Three of our children got married within a period of eighteen months and of all the wedding vendors I hired, DJ Wes was by far the best. He communicated and planned and helped us think of details we had not thought of. I felt like DJ Wes truly cared about doing all he could to help make Erin and Patrick’s reception a fun and classy event, and I believe he possesses the rare integrity that compels him to give 100% effort to every client. He knows exactly what it takes to make a wedding reception a success and he takes that knowledge and tailors it to the personality and wishes of each individual client. Thanks to DJ Wes, the dance floor remained full through the very last song, and I still have people tell me that Erin and Patrick’s wedding reception was the best they have ever attended! (On a side note, we are so thankful that DJ Wes took pictures during the reception because he captured a lot of special shots that our highly rated photographer missed.)

I have attended two wedding receptions where DJ Wes was the DJ, one of which was my own. Wes is a versatile DJ who is responsive to the requests of his customers and is able to tailor a set list to cater to all ages in one event. We can't say enough good about Wes!! He is easy to work with and very professional. We had the time of our lives at our reception! Everyone was on the dance floor all night (even my father-in-law who said he would rather jump off a bridge than dance). DJ Wes was very professional in setting up a meeting with my fiancé and I well ahead of the wedding date (4 months out) and we discussed everything we wanted. Then a few weeks before the wedding we met again for an hour to discuss all songs, the order of events, and any special requests we had. During the wedding, DJ Wes coordinated all events including the intro of the wedding party, first dances, longest married dance, toasts by father of the bride/best man/maid of honor, cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss, and more. He also took pictures and video with his camera and posted a candid video of the event on YouTube.

Overall, our wedding reception was a success and DJ Wes was a big contributor. Our family and friends, and especially my wife and I, had a blast. DJ Wes is a solid choice if you need a quality DJ for your wedding or special event.

Wesley L. Flint is both an exceptionally experienced wedding DJ and also a marvelous entertainer who has a great concept of timing...how long to schedule for each activity, the pace of the music, excellent suggestions of music to include and exclude and when to do what during the course of the evening. He really got both the dancers and non-dancers out on the floor and the consensus of the guests was fun, fun, fun! I could not imagine the wedding without DJ West. Our guests are still talking about DJ West and how much fun the wedding was. It was great! He was able to recommend wireless speakers for our space which worked out really well to carry the sound and he did a great job of going with flow and making adjustments as need.Great DJ and we would definitely use him again!Just want to let you know quickly how great your performance was.
Literally everyone could not stop talking about how perfect your song transitions were and how you built the music up to keep the dancing going. I have not been to a wedding that had that much participation

DJ Wes not only provides a quality of service, his music is wonderful, he is a great emcee and takes great pictures at every event and posts them on his website. The American Liver Foundation of the Mid-South has used DJ Wes for six Taste of Desoto events, and I can honestly say that he has never let us down in any way and has always been an attribute. Taste of Desoto is an arena event with over 1000 attendees and 50 restaurants. DJ Wes has always been willing and able to meet any request we have made of him. I can't imagine doing this event with anyone else.

DJ Wes provided DJ services for my daughter's wedding in 2005. It was such a success, I later booked him for my class reunion in 2009 for 500+ people. Wes did such an excellent job, that three attendees from the reunion called to use him for future events. He is very professional and can entertain across mulitple generations and music preferences. Wes certainly knows how to keep the people on the dance floor!

DJ Wes was awesome. We had him do our ceremony and reception music. He works with you and has almost every song you want played! He is also extremely professional! Highly recommend choosing him as a DJ for your wedding.

Wes met with my daughter and I on a few occasions before the wedding so that he would have a good feel for what we wanted at her reception. He was prompt and ready to go when the bride and groom arrived to start the dinner and dancing portion of the reception. And he showed great professionalism and flexibility adjusting to the last minute changes by the bride. Wes kept the music flowing, not too loud (our last wedding, I wanted to leave the room by the end of the night 'cause my ears hurt so much), that was very important to making our event a success. If you look at the pictures on his website of our reception, you'll see many happy facing dancing, having a great time...... and that was so true! His services were well worth the money and we would highly recommend DJ Wes!

It was great! He was able to recommend wireless speakers for our space which worked out really well to carry the sound and he did a great job of going with flow and making adjustments as need.Great DJ and we would definitely use him again! I have not been to a wedding that had that much participation and happiness on a dance floor. I also heard of a few requests you complied with and a few you didn't.

DJ Wes was amazing. He was willing to work with me to plan all of the small details of our wedding reception. I would recommend him to anyone. He is willing to plan everything for you, do anything you plan, and work with you anywhere in between. He gave us prompt and professional service. I didn't worry for one second about how the reception would be because I knew he would handle it.

He did such a fantastic job. The only problem I had with him was he tried to take over the plans of the reception. We had already planned when everything was going to be done with Dianne and then when we went and met with him it was like he wanted to do it his way. But everything worked out just fine. Our carriage got there early and he was fine with that and went straight to the last dance song and everything was perfect.

The only 'problem', if you will, is that they had a wedding coordinator who had pretty much done all the planning before I met withthe client to go over the details. We I meet with my clients, I always try to explain the plus' and minus' of each decision. But because the coordinator had alread, come up with a plan, the client, understandably, didn't really want to discuss these things because the decision had already been made. So I was limited to just writing down the plan as opposed to helping to come up with the plan. This is not my standard operationg proceedure, so I may have come off as trying to take control. I was simply trying to help. I quickly learned they weren't really interested in my help with the planning part. They just wanted me to help make the plan a success, which I did. As the client said, it all turned out great!

Over all great experience
