DJ Valentina was a star! We were very particular about the music for our wedding. We didn't want it to feel cheesy, cookie-cutter, or expected... but at the same time still wanted to get everyone on to the dance floor. She didn't disappoint! The dance floor was flooded all night with people of all ages and backgrounds. DJ Valentina found the perfect balance of songs everyone loved, without just playing the wedding "top 40." The music changed quickly, keeping everyone engaged. We got so many compliments from our guests! DJ Valentina was also super professional and easy to work with throughout. Thank you!!! -

Our experience with Valentina was amazing!! She was very professional, very responsive, easy to work with throughout the process, personable, and thinks through the important details! We provided Valentina with some of the specifics we wanted - like integrating a bicultural playlist for our American and Indian family and friends and some other general guidelines - but we let her choose most of our playlist. Valentina delivered in her ability to read the room and engage with us and our guests to create an unforgettable reception experience for our special day! All our guests loved Valentina and the energy she brought, even for those who normally remain on the quieter side. We are so happy that we could have Valentina as our DJ at our wedding reception. DJ Valentina is SIMPLY THE BEST DJ for your wedding or event! Danielle and I were married at Newport Vineyards (awesome venue!) on Oct 15, 2022 and from the moment we booked it (2.5 years ago) we knew we wanted DJ Valentina to emcee and DJ our wedding. If you're curious about her style and energy, just visit her instagram page, @dj_valentina - you will be blown away. It was very important to us to attempt to book both female vendors and musicians, artists, designers and entertainers of color.
We knew that going into our wedding day, anything could happen (and boy, do we have stories!!), but we also knew that she would help make our evening very special, and did she ever.
First, DJ Valentina provided excellent sound support for the ceremony, which took place outdoors, about 150 yards from the actual reception building. The wireless mics were crystal clear and she provided comfortable volume for the attendees.
Second, as a musician myself, I had a surprise planned for the reception - an acoustic serenade for Danielle. DJ Valentina and I briefly discussed the plan a few days prior to the wedding. While cocktail hour was taking place on the patio, she setup a single Bose tower with a wireless mic for the serenade. We did a very quick and discrete soundcheck while Danielle was mingling. With a simple, "you got this" and a hi-five, I felt really good about making this work. In my opinion, the surprise was a big success, and I could not have pulled it off without the diligent help and support she provided.
Third, DJ Valentina rocks! While we gave her some ideas of our musical preferences, she began reading our crowd as soon as they arrived. We have a diverse range of friends and family and she had everyone dancing with a multi-genre mix while sprinkling in all of our favorites - the more Whitney, the better! She even snuck out from behind her DJ booth a few times to hit the dance floor with our guests - everyone loved it!
Lastly, DJ Valentina is the consummate professional and an amazing talent. She is incredibly fun to be around - people gravitate to her. She is also so reassuring, before, during and after the event. And most importantly, you can just tell that she loves people - she is a kind, positive force.
Thank you, DJ Valentina! Book her now. We made up our minds 2.5 years ago and are so happy we did.

Wow, where to begin with how incredible DJ Valentina is?! When my wife and I first started planning our wedding, we knew that having a packed dance floor was our top priority. We just wanted everyone to have an amazing time with music that would excite both our age group (mid 20s) and the older generations as well.
When our planner recommended Valentina, she seemed like a perfect fit! From our first phone call we could immediately tell she knew the exact vibe we were going for. She also was able to provide an amazing open-air photo booth and up-lighting, both of which we knew we wanted.
When it came to the wedding day, I cannot put into words how FUN and LIVELY she made that dance floor. Her ability to mix music (so that songs blended into each other), read the room, and just keep the excitement at a level 100 was unreal!
Without a doubt the one piece of feedback we heard from guests over and over was "Oh my god, your DJ was INCREDIBLE!"
In addition to the amazing dance floor, Valentina was also so great at MCing the event! The way she announced our wedding party and us just got everyone so, so excited to celebrate.
I could go on and on. She is just an unbelievably kind, attentive, stylish, and TALENTED DJ! Hiring Valentina for your wedding will be the absolute best decision you could ever make.

DJ Valentina went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding on March 12, 2022. She came highly recommended from our venue and she freakin delivered. She provided amazing customer service throughout the planning process as we were a postponed wedding from the reschedules due to the pandemic. She provided the uplighting too and created a party mood and then she delivered the most important thing, a nonstop dance party. She listened to our suggestions from our pre-event meetings and mixed and match when the time is right for reading the dance floor. I requested "A Thousand Miles" and she made a mix on the fly! My guests were really enjoying themselves on the dance floor ranging from ages 16-80 and were telling me she was an awesome DJ and could really keep the party going. Thank you Valentina, keep on killing it! You're the best! -

If you're in the market for a wedding DJ, I cannot begin to recommend Valentina and her team enough!
Throughout our entire (and delayed) wedding process, Valentina was with us every step of the way to make sure our wedding day was perfect. On the day, Valentina was at our venue early, making sure the uplighting (which looked AMAZING) and setup were exactly as we discussed. She provided excellent music for our ceremony, and coordinated with our venue stuff/wedding officiant to make sure everything went smoothly, all without even knowing she was there!
During the reception though, our guests CERTAINLY knew she was there. Whether it was through dinner or all through the night, DJ Valentina kept the dance floor packed, and we literally had so many of our guests come up and tell us how great of a time they were having because of the music! We also had some peculiar specific music requests (Portuguese/Jewish songs) and Valentina integrated those into the night seamlessly!
Simply put, if you're looking for an amazing wedding DJ, you can do no better than Valentina. -

You will not regret hiring Valentina as your wedding DJ and emcee. Her commitment to her clients, her brand, and most importantly her craft was evident. She’s on mission to bring the energy and party and boy does she deliver. Your guests will love her for her vibe, her ability to read the room, and is very well thought out and intentional to bring your party to the next level. She does not have a pop and play playlist that she uses at every wedding. Every song raised the energy and met the vibe of our crowd and the elements we discussed prior to the event. She is so well respected by the industry and has experience at so many venues and with so many vendors, which is really important because they all work together to make your day perfect. She’s a terrific emcee as well, which sets the tone. “Amazing” and “Fun!” are the adjectives everyone will be using to describe your day. The only downside is your guests will likely have some sore feet the next day because they won’t want to leave the dance floor! -

My guests - as well as my groom and I - were absolutely in love with Valentina, her outfits, and her DJ-ing!!! Planning was such a breeze with her. And even though Valentina does 100s of weddings / events a year, she truly makes you and your guests feel like you have 100% of her personal attention.
Our requests were a bit complex, but she handled it all seamlessly. Background music for our Hindu ceremony, top hits for our cocktail hour, playing our first-dance soundtrack which was only available on YouTube, and importantly, keeping all our our wedding guests dancing straight into the night with a mix of top hits, throwbacks, bollywood, you name it!!! Additionally, Valentina handled all the logistics of setup with our venue / coordinator directly, so we didn't have to worry about any of it.
I also loved that Valentina was extremely flexible and excited to accommodate our own styles, but also made her own suggestions based on her experience. It was such a pleasure - I want to have another party asap just to party with Valentina again! -

We originally hired Valentina for our May 2020 wedding based on the rave reviews she's received, as well as a referral from our caterer. From our very first call with her, we were constantly blown away by her energy, enthusiasm and genuine excitement about being a part of our day. It's like we'd known her forever and she just couldn't WAIT for our wedding! You can tell she absolutely loves what she does, day in and day out! And then- COVID. Valentina was incredibly flexible during the scheduling and rescheduling process. Unfortunately she was not available on our second potential date, but she set us up with one of her mentors and friends to be there for our event, however it ended up looking. And we were also blown away by him! Finally, we rescheduled again and moved things up, another pivot that she was happy to accommodate and work with! She was available for our final date, the date that we got married, and we are so happy that she was! As you can imagine, many things were in flux the whole time, and Valentina approached the situation with genuine excitement and patience, which we really appreciated during such a tumultuous time. She brought creativity to our chosen first dance song, worked well with the 'crowd' (30 people, lol) to get them pumped up and excited (even though the wedding most certainly didn't look the same!), and was the perfect addition to a day that we'd been waiting for, for a very long time. If you don't hire DJ Valentina for your wedding- big, small, or something in between- you'd be making a mistake! We feel like she's been our friend forever, could not have imagined our day without the incredible talent + energy that she gave to it, and could not recommend her more. -

We are so happy we hired DJ Valentina for our wedding! She exceeded our expectations in every step of the process. She was very professional, easy to contact, and attentive to all our needs. We weren’t very picky with our selections and only gave her a short list of songs we liked/didn’t like but we honestly felt like she was playing our own playlists. She knew how to read the crowd as had all of us dancing the ENTIRE night and even had the guests screaming encore by the end. She is clearly an expert in her field. The Bat Mitzvah party for my daughter was a grand celebration thanks to DJ Valentina.
She managed to create a great atmosphere for both the kids and the adults. Many of my adult guests still compliment the party months later. It was an exuberant and lively night that we will never forget.
Working with DJ Valentina was a joy. Her enthusiasm was infectious and it was clear she was on a mission to make the party special.
She presented the options clearly and made planning for the event fun instead of overwhelming. It was clear that she knows what makes the evening flow and there was high energy the whole evening. It was elegant as well as edgy with music that really set the mood. She arranged to have breakdancers perform dressed in costume as Chassidic Jews which was a huge and unique crowd pleaser. She also helped me arrange the technical aspects of the slide show as well.
I really cant say enough positive things about the experience.

Lynda Sent on 06/13/2011If you want a complete wedding dj, one that will listen to what your tastes and your guests tastes are, what vibe you are looking for on your special day, and someone who will seamlessly emcee your reception, look no further than DJ Valentina!
I heard of Valentina through another wedding planning site, and then found that I knew friends that have attended weddings and/or clubs that she's dj'd at. They all gave her great reviews, so we decided to give her a call.
Valentina sat down with us, asked us what our musical tastes were, and what our musical genres our guests like. She took the time to explain that she is very flexible with our wants and needs, and as the event goes on, will read the room to continue to keep guests on the dance floor.
She delivered on her words! After the introductions (which she phonetically spelled out for herself, to ensure that she would pronounce the names perfectly), our dinner service started with low-level quartet jazz selections, and progressed into more lively jazz and big band music towards mid-entree. After dinner, the dancing started, and our very first song that was requested was "Dancing Queen," by ABBA. Perfect, and right-on as far as the musical genre that we wanted to concentrate on! Everyone got up and started dancing, stopped briefly for the cake cutting (and cake eating), then resumed right up until the last dance!
Valentina's announcements were timed just when they needed to be announced, and we got nothing but great comments about her from our guests and the venue, who also wants to hire her for future events!
Book DJ Valentina sooner than later - her schedule fills up FAST! You won't be disappointed!
