Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.DJ Topedo & Co.'s reply:

A masterclass in entertainment
When we first started looking at DJs, we knew we wanted someone who could handle more than just a playlist, and DJ Josh Topedo exceeded every expectation. While he is an investment, I can honestly say he is worth every penny for the peace of mind alone. From day one, the planning was a total breeze. Josh provides a dedicated app that allowed us to organize our entire timeline and music preferences in one place, which took so much stress off our shoulders.
What really set him apart were the follow-up calls. He listened to our vision and offered expert advice that made us feel incredibly confident heading into the party. He also offered to mic up our string quartet for the cocktail hour, ensuring the acoustic music was perfectly amplified for the space. He went the extra mile to custom-blend our first dance song, making it a moment we will never forget. One of the absolute highlights was when he allowed my dad to come up on stage and perform a song with him; it was a personal touch that meant the world to us.
The production value he brings is on another level. The combination of the CO2 cannons, smart lights, and uplighting created an immersive, high-energy atmosphere that felt like a private concert. Even the audio quality for the speeches and the live performances was crystal clear. Josh doesn't just show up and play music; he designs an entire experience. The best in the business!
The BEST DJ team ever! We had DJ Topedo for our wedding & also used his business for videography as well! First I want to say that their entire business is set up so professionally and they really cater to making the entire process seamless for you. I wasn’t stressed at all throughout the process with them & the entire thing from start to finish was so customizable from the way his set up was displayed to exactly when I wanted specific songs and for what length I wanted that song played for. They executed our wedding perfectly! DJ Topedo was able to get our whole crowd engaged, even the ones I would’ve bet wouldn’t have danced!
We also used their 360 video booth at our wedding and it was a hit with our guests! We were sent a link at the end of every single video taken which was so cool to look back on!
The videographer fit into our group perfectly. It never felt awkward for him to be apart of our friend groups and honestly had he not had his equipment, I would’ve sworn he and my husband were friends. He was really able to bring the fun out of our wedding party and I can’t wait to see how well that translates on video!
I seriously cannot recommend them enough! 1000/10!!!!!! -

We're so glad we went with DJ Topedo for our wedding DJ and videography. DJ Addi did a great job with playing music that our guests loved on the dance floor. We are still receiving compliments on how fun the dance floor was to this day. The videographers, Zack and Mitch, did a great job capturing all of the memorable moments of my husband and I's wedding day on video. The dance floor portion of our wedding was so important to us, and DJ Addi from DJ Topedo & Co. delivered spectacularly. There was literally never a dull moment and he was able to hop around seamlessly between genres we requested to the point where the dance floor was always full. He also threw in some live mixing as just a crazy cherry on top. He also was just such a pleasant guy day of and a great MC!
During the planning process they were so responsive to any questions we had and the app that they use for planning covers every possible thing you could ever want to customize for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance floor.
We also booked the photo booth through them which I highly recommend because everyone loved it and as part of the package you get a book with a set of all the photos that were taken for some special memories.
We had so many people tell us how awesome the DJ was after the wedding and we will definitely be recommending these guys to anyone who asks us!DJ Topedo & Co.'s reply:

DJ Heath did an incredible job- between transitions, playing all the music we wanted, getting us mic'd up, making announcements, just being super friendly, and more. The dance floor was exactly as hype as we had hoped it would be and we have him to thank for it! Lots of people were telling us how good our DJ was!

My wife and I were so fortunate to have picked DJ Torpedo & Co. for our May 2024 wedding in Georgetown. I feel music and the emcee often makes or breaks a great wedding, so I spent considerable time reviewing possible DJs to work with. We ended up going to DJ Addison, who at the time was considered a "first-year DJ." He exceeded all expectations.
Addison was simply a treat to work with in the planning stages and was exceptionally on point and professional during the wedding day. He's funny but classy, professional but not uptight, willing to make on-the-fly changes, and kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. From his bridal party introductions to saying goodbye at the end of the night, he was simply great. Our wedding was moved inside at the last minute due to rain and he somehow relocated his setup on the fly and didn't complain or seem stressed during the chaos.
DJ Torpedo offers a really wonderful music planning app that is easy to understand and pick your songs from ceremony to reception. The app has YouTube integration that allows you to easily assemble your playlists.

We hired Josh’s company for our wedding and he and our appointed DJ, Xander, did a wonderful job making sure everything was taken care of from beginning to end. We had multiple Zoom/phone sessions with Josh in the months leading up to the wedding where we were able to ask questions, get to know him, and go over the wedding app that his company utilizes to arrange the music and day. (Side Note: the wedding app was a Godsend! It allowed you to import songs from Spotify or Apple Music or Youtube so you could get the exact version of the song you wanted and let you select each song for the segment that you wanted with comments (i.e. stopping the first dance after a minute and half, etc.) and generates a PDF which was helpful to all our vendors.
Although Josh was not our day-of DJ, he made sure to come early to our venue to help Xander set-up all of the DJ equipment/accessories. This showed me Josh’s dedication and true ownership of his company and product, Thank you Josh! As for our day-of DJ, Xander did a spectacular job in making sure the music and audio for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were in sync and continuous. He played all of the songs that we had personally requested and was professional and responsive to all of our questions and needs. I cannot express how much I would recommend Josh and Xander for someone’s next event. Josh was incredible at our wedding! We hired him almost 2 years before our wedding actually happened. He supported us through postponing our wedding from July 2021 to July 2022. He was organized, helpful, and communicative. We spoke on the phone multiple times about how the music throughout the day would go and he helped us use his music planning app to make sure that every important moment had an equally important song. He was patient and helpful when we added things to our package. The best thing we did was have him do the uplighting in our venue space during our reception because it really made the atmosphere ten times better. He was professional and prepared during our wedding day. We both agreed that hiring Josh was one of it not the best decision we made for our special day. Thank you for everything Josh!

Due to certain timings of our wedding, we had to get more pictures during our reception and we unfortunately did not get to experience Josh’s full DJ talents, but our guests said that he was excellent and enjoyed his energy!
Plus, his services were off the chain and worth every penny! Dancing on a Cloud was easily the crowd pleasure and the most fun! We were so glad we got the Photo Booth too so we could have more fun and silly memories to look back on, and the Uplighting was a nice touch!

The music was the most important thing for us, so naturally we were picky as who we selected to DJ. DJ Topedo is a master of his craft. Everything went smoothly. You pretty much select your special moment songs and a few must plays and he does the rest. Can’t go wrong with any of the add ons and the dancing cloud is definitely worth it. Josh was absolutely the best!! A little background story… My husband is Turkish and Bulgarian and I’m Mexican. We wanted to incorporate our cultures and also play the music we liked, but we were also concerned that our families were not going to have fun since neither side had experienced each other’s culture before the wedding. We used DJ Topedo for our DJ and Videography. He is an incredibly personable and caring human and is extremely talented. He was the first DJ we spoke to and we picked him right way. He is very professional and organized.
He let us download an app where we could put the music we wanted for our timeline, and add in notes for what we expected. It was super easy and really high-tech. We LOVED it! We could even have our friends and family join in on the app if we wanted to. He mixed the music so well and had GREAT energy the entire night. Honestly, no one stopped dancing once.
What REALLY impressed us was the videography. We knew he was good, but when we received our video we were BLOWN AWAY. He captured the evening so perfectly. Our video recap was so amazing it made me go back into those moments and feel the feelings I felt. The music and video editing were done so perfectly and you could tell he really took his time. I can not believe how amazing this product was and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The equipment he used was top notch, every word could be easily heard and understood during the ceremony and even made last minute song changed. The photobooth package offered everything we wanted, and Josh was very flexible and willing to accommodate our needs. We hired Josh as our DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job. We also added the photobooth which was a big hit with our family and friends. It turned into a great guest book to take home after the wedding.
Josh has an app that makes it really easy to plan the whole timeline, add notes, and create a playlist for each section of the reception. As with any wedding, not everything went according to plan in our timeline but Josh was able to handle the adjustments on the fly. We had DJ Topedo for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Josh is one of the coolest people that you will ever meet and made the entire process of selecting the type of music that we wanted for the day extremely easy and fun. He asked us for what kind of music we liked, what type of music that we didn't want played, and any special songs/requests. The best advice that I can give people hiring him is to let him do his job and give him as few restrictions as possible besides types of music that you like and do not like. Josh nailed the ceremony and kicked off the reception with the type of energy that gets people pumped and ready for a good time and continued this throughout the entire night. We can't wait to hire him again for an epic party!!! We also had his photo booth which our guests loved and you get an online galley with all of the photos as well as a book (almost like a guest book where people can write next to their pictures) with as many photos as can fit in it (a lot of photos can fit into it but our guests took TONS). We also had Josh provide the uplighting for the reception and I would definitely recommend that as well as it really makes people want to go out onto the dancefloor and goes extremely well with the music. Finally we had the monogram on the dancefloor with our names and the date and it was beautiful. Overall a fantastic experience with Josh, he made our wedding a hit!DJ Topedo & Co.'s reply:

Going into our first phone call, my wife and I had no idea what to expect or what we needed to do when seeking a DJ to work with for our wedding reception. Future brides and grooms, if you're looking for a wedding DJ, please do yourselves a favor and look no further.
Josh was incredible to work with over the course over of wedding planning - available to answer questions, discuss scheduling and was always extremely prompt in his responses. We had a ton of questions, and he was very re-assuring throughout the entire process.
And, this was all before the wedding. The day-of, he kept the music pumping - through the cocktail hour, dinner and dance party. Truly, DJ Topedo made our day incredible by setting the mood with his musical expertise. Josh was also flexible and helpful when our schedule was a little thrown off - and we couldn't have had the evening run so smoothly without him.
If your budget allows, also consider booking the photo booth services. Our guests loved the props selection and we loved that a personalized photo album was included in the package! It's details like this that make DJ Topedo a stand-out option for your big day.

He is professional and very easy to work with. He gets what we want and he is very easy to communicate with. Even though we had very minimal conversation (you know how busy planning a wedding is) but he always reply promptly and he takes our requests easily. Josh did an amazing job at our wedding! He interacted with the crowd and played music that kept guests on the dance floor. Before our wedding, he was always very responsive in answering questions and providing feedback on his past experiences. We sent him a list of songs we wanted to hear and he mixed those songs with his own. Our guests were commenting all night on how well he was able to mix and adjust to the crowd.
