Our guests described it best...this was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. It's hard to pick just one word to describe our experience at our wedding with DJ Tony, but if I had to pick one, it would be "EPIC". We didn't realize we were getting such an incredible experience too! The music was so perfect throughout the night, it was like he was reading our minds and knew exactly what song to play next. The music was always in sync with the vibe of the group, from the slow dances through to the oldies and into the late night dance classics, the dance floor was packed all night long. There were even a few of those "Ohhh that's awesome!" moments when he started mixing different songs together. We also had no idea what to expect with the light show. The multi colored lighting when it got dark was simply awesome. DJ Tony was also very easy to work with in the lead up to the wedding, setting up video calls and helping us put together our preferred song list in their very slick app. Highly recommend these guys for any special event you're having! -

Tony is the absolute man. He worked with my wife and I through every sound detail for the wedding and it quickly became apparent that he is a pro. Tony took all of our music recommendations and perfectly mixed them together to create the perfect soundscape for our wedding. We got many compliments from guests regarding his DJ skills. We would highly recommend Tony to anyone that wants to throw a banger of a wedding. Thanks again Tony for all of your contributions!! -

Amazing DJ!
One of our top priorities for our wedding was to have a fun dance party, and DJ Tony truly delivered! He came highly recommended by our wedding planner, and we're so glad we went with him. Before our wedding, Tony offered to meet as many times as we would like to make us feel comfortable. He also used an app for us to share our music choices with him, which was very easy to use. Having worked with our venue (Timber Cove) before, Tony knew exactly where to set up everything for optimal sound quality. We had zero sound issues throughout the night, which we know can often be a problem - especially in windy conditions like we experienced at our oceanside venue. When we made a last-minute decision to move the toasts indoors due to wind and chilly weather, he pivoted seamlessly. Tony seems like a genuinely passionate individual who truly loves what he does, and it shows in his work. We danced all night and were so grateful for DJ Tony! -

Tony was everything we hoped for in a wedding DJ and more. From the moment the music started, he brought a level of energy, finesse, and magic that truly made the night unforgettable. The dance floor was the part of our wedding my partner and I were most excited about—and Tony absolutely delivered. The music and dancing were both the heart and soul of the celebration.
We’re still hearing from friends who say it was the best wedding dance floor they’ve ever been on. At least eight people came up to us during the night to say Tony was “killing it,” “slaying,” “cooking”—and they weren’t wrong. People were grinning, sweating, losing their minds in the best possible way. One friend said they wanted to steal the playlist for their own wedding. Truly the highest compliment!
Tony struck the perfect balance: calm and grounding in person, then totally electric behind the board. His mixing was seamless, his timing impeccable, and he made even our most niche music requests feel like part of the natural flow. He took our unique vision and somehow made it a glorious, earth-shaking reality. I really respected how open he was to our input and ideas. He was even game to use our using custom-rented sound system and shark disco ball—both of which made the night unforgettable!
I also appreciate the calm, focus, and care he brought to the music and mic set up during the ceremony. All the musical cues made our ceremony feel like a touching movie and everyone's mic audio was super crisp and easy to hear, little details that made the day feel extra magical.
Hiring Tony was quite simply one of the best investments in our wedding we made. We’ll be replaying the memories from that dance floor for the rest of our lives. So, should you hire tony for your wedding, party, or special event? My advice is: HELL YES! -

It was really important to us that we had a packed, fun dance floor throughout the entire wedding night, and we extended our wedding time just to make sure that there would be enough time to dance! We interviewed a couple of DJs when looking for our wedding DJ, and Tony was on our list of top choices. Initially, we were considering going with another DJ who was a little more...forward and assertive than Tony was during our initial meeting. But we were recommended by a trusted advisor to go with Tony, and we are so glad that we did. Tony isn't a loud or in-your-face DJ, and as others have written already, he REALLY knows how to mix his music.
He is the perfect combination for a star wedding DJ, where vendors often have to ride the fine line of being personable and energetic, but not drawing attention away from the couple themselves. Tony introduced our party and MC'd between the events throughout the night seamlessly and smoothly, without any sort of cheesy jokes to break up the flow. We even had a couple of extra personal touches in terms of inserting our pre-recorded voices throughout the night. Tony not only entertained our ideas, but contributed his own thoughts to make them run even better. He even helped create a special dynamic logo for us that showed up on the dance floor! Additionally, many people in our family and party have non-traditional names- but Tony graciously made every effort to pronounce the names correctly, and he did a great job. And with the music- he took the list of songs (late-2000s to early 2010 bangers) that we provided him, and put together a brilliant setlist. We got so many complements throughout the night and after that our DJ did such a great job. Our dance floor stayed lit the entire night, capping the end to a perfect event and day!
We couldn't have imagined a better DJ to make our dream day come true. If you are looking for a smooth, fabulous DJ for your special day, I unequivocally recommend DJ Tony for your event! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Nor Cal Pro Sounds for our wedding! From start to finish, they completely nailed the vibe we wanted. Brian (one of the Dj’s who we worked with) took the time to understand our musical preferences and made sure every part of the night—from the ceremony to the reception—had the perfect soundtrack. They read the crowd perfectly, keeping the energy up and everyone on the dance floor all night long.
The transitions between songs were smooth, and they even helped with some special announcements and coordinating timing, which was such a relief. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing.
If you’re looking for a DJ who knows how to create an amazing atmosphere and keep the party going, we highly recommend Nor Cal Pro Sounds. They truly made our wedding day unforgettable!

DJ Tony - truly a vibe
If you’re reading this post, there’s a high chance you’re planning your wedding or a big event. You’re also probably anxious about picking the wrong DJ and the vibe not being exactly how you envisioned.
If so - look no further. My wife and I just had our wedding 2 days ago and we have not stopped talking about how legendary Tony was. We have also gotten 10+ requests for the playlist!
I have to call out 2 things that we will never forget:
1. Tony was so supportive leading up to the wedding and even hopped on a zoom call a few days before when he saw the weather was taking a turn and rain was on its way. He had such a calming and confident presence - ensuring us that the night will be absolutely perfect. He put us at ease and melted the overwhelming anxiety we both had.
2. During our dinner there was a massive power outage (fun!) and we had no music or lights. Within 10 minutes, Tony had a fully charged battery powered speaker (a very legit speaker!). We had music back on and did all our speeches. As we finished the last speech, boom - the power came back on. It was magical and without Tony, the whole day would have been completely different.
We can not endorse Tony enough. He is simply the best. -

Not only was he able to accommodate our playlist requests with precision and care, but also a pro at taking impromptu song requests from guests without diverting too much from our wishes. I cannot recommend DJ Tony & Nor Cal Pro Sound enough!!!! Hiring a DJ was a very important item for us in wedding planning because music and the "voice of our wedding" was one of our top priorities. We highly recommend NorCal Pro Sound a 10/10. DJ Tony was amazing at our wedding. Beginning with the planning process to the actual day, he was very organized, patient, & accommodating with all of our requests. We even had a family emergency that disrupted our wedding, but Tony was able to still keep the wedding going despite the abrupt distraction. He was also able to keep up with our crazy Filipino atmosphere ,which makes us want to give him more brownie points!

The entire process was seamless and awesome: starting with a great initial consultation with Alex to ultimately being paired with DJ Tony.
It was clear from the first conversation how deeply Tony cares about his clients. He got on Zoom calls, asked great questions, and takes a personalized approach with all the couples he works with.
Nor Cal also has an app that made it easy for us to create/share songs with DJ Tony.
On the day of the ceremony, Tony and his team executed flawlessly.
We always felt like Tony was doing everything possible to cater to our specific requests for our special day - highly recommend working with Tony & Nor Cal Pro Sound!

We truly could not say enough positive words to convey the awesome job Nor Cal Pro Sound team did from start to finish on our wedding process. After a few “interesting” phone calls with less experienced DJ and MC services it was instantly helpful to have Alex lead our introductory phone call to be sure they offered everything we were hoping for. His recommendation of DJ Luis Alvarez was absolutely perfect for our needs.
Luis was vibrant and enthusiastic on every phone call and as much as one can be via email and text. They offer an awesome app making it easy to customize the music for your special day. From the cocktail playlist to your specific first dance and speeches they cover all the details in the comprehensive app. During our calls it was great to have DJ Luis's experience to reference in planning our day and allowing appropriate time for the full timeline. Our officiant had nothing but great things to say about working with Luis, he made it very simple for us to be sure everyone could hear the ceremony and speeches.
Even after leaving some of our playlists short of complete the ability to fill in the night and feel out the vibe of our party was more than impressive. We opted to add an additional half hour to extend the great times. We have heard stories of people being sore and couples dancing together for the first time in a decade. Truly illustrating the need to get up and move to the excellently curated playlist.
Again we can't thank or recommend the team at Nor Cal Pro Sound enough for your big events. We will be sending friends and family their way and hope you do as well.

We talked with a few DJ companies when booking, and Nor Cal Pro Sound was by far the most professional and quickest to reply. They also had a quote to us quicker than any other DJ’s we’d requested one from.
Both DJ Fabian and DJ Tony were incredible to work with, through the planning phone calls, emails, music recommendations, all the way up through the ceremony and reception! The app that they use (Vibo) was also a perfect tool that helped recommend some of the songs we ended up playing!
DJ Tony did an absolutely incredible job with the music on our entire day! From the instrumentals during the pre-ceremony, to the ceremony music, to the jazz during cocktail hour, and the amazing transitions during the dancing, everything he did was perfect for making our day so much better.
Nor Cal Pro Sound is a top of class vendor, and we recommend them as a DJ to everybody! -

We had Brandon Rice as the DJ for our wedding and he absolutely crushed it! My wife and I had three meetings with him leading up to the big day which allowed us to get to know him well and thoroughly go through our playlists and timing/flow of the day. The last meeting included a top to bottom walk through of timeline and songs with our Day of Coordinator and was awesome for peace of mind and execution. We had Dray Lopez as the DJ for our special day. He was absolutely amazing and we would definitely recommend him. There are no words to describe how amazing DJ Tony and the rest of the Nor Cal Pro Sound team was! Music was probably the most tricky and important part of our wedding because music is such a huge part of our lives. DJ Tony was there to help us every step of the way from finding songs, mixing songs, and everything in between. Our guests still rave about the DJ and the music from our wedding and everyone was on the dance floor having the best time! We didn’t want the night to end. DJ Tony and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with end to end. They were probably the most organized vendor I worked with for my wedding. Everything from scheduling the initial intake call, to the super slick app they use to help plan for your event was a breeze. Not only was the music great (multiple guests kept telling us it was the best dance party they've ever been to), but DJ Tony also went the extra mile to set up lighting that really set the vibe as the night went on.

We hired Dj Luis for our wedding and he was spectacular! He played every selected song (some with his own added twist), he took requests from the guests, and he MC'd every time he needed to. We hired Nor Cal Pro Sound for our wedding at the recommendation of our wedding planner and we were SO HAPPY that we did. Their team was so responsive and easy to work with. They provided an app where you could add music for different sections of your wedding, which was actually a lot of fun, and easy to use. I can’t imagine I’m the only person who didn’t know what song to walk down the aisle to, or do our first dance to, but the app had sections of recommended music by “most popular” or “genre” etc., and we literally picked some of our songs from there! We were able to set the overall “vibe” we were going for through the app, then we asked DJ Tony to read the crowd and add the filler music, which he totally nailed. Our guests of all ages were dancing all night. Above and beyond the music, they provided mics for the ceremony and speeches, incredible lighting for the dance floor, and did all the emceeing to keep the wedding organized and running smoothly. Highly recommended!!! -

Alex & Luis made our wedding day very special. Norcal Pro Sound's pre-planning and app made it very easy for us to select the music played on our wedding day. Alex and Luis were (very) patient with us as we procrastinated through this task, allowing us to make decisions that we were comfortable with though it made their job more difficult. If you're reading this review and wondering whether to book these guys as your wedding DJs -- just stop right now. Do it. Nor Cal Pro Sound and specifically DJ Tony were honestly the best decision we made for our wedding, period. Tony is an absolute professional and from the moment we first talked to him we KNEW we were in amazing hands and were going to have a blast at our wedding. It's been several weeks since our wedding and our friends are still messaging us to send them our dance songs / playlist -- that's how much fun everyone had! We had to downsize our wedding a bit because of COVID and were worried about the dance floor vibe (since we always knew that would be a highlight of our wedding). Tony and his crew made sure that we were dancing ALL NIGHT -- even some of our older family members stuck around till the end! From the lighting to the music to the ceremony audio, everything was absolutely spot on and so in line with the vibe we communicated during the planning process. His responsiveness throughout and willingness to accommodate our requests just went above and beyond what we would have expected from any wedding vendor. He put special touches into our dinner music that only we would notice and find special -- and it honestly meant the world to us. THANK YOU DJ Tony and the entire Nor Cal Pro Sound team for making our wedding the most memorable evening of our lives. We will cherish those memories and your role in them forever and ever! -

Working with the Nor Cal Pro Sound team was such an amazing experience!
From the very start, they were extremely personable, responsive, flexible, and fun!
We leveraged both the photo booth services along with the DJ services for our October 2021 wedding and both were such a hit. We worked with DJ Willie and he absolutely crushed it. He ensured he understood our vision and made us feel so confident throughout the entire process. He also took such great initiative in working with our other music vendor for the ceremony and offered his assistance where ever possible to make sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
On top of that, the morning after our wedding, he sent us AWESOME videos and photos he had taken of our wedding!
10/10 would recommend! -

We had the pleasure of working with the NorCal Pro Sound team and DJ Brian Howe. The emails, phone calls and app were so helpful. I had specific songs I wanted to be played at certain times and DJ Brian Howe made it happen. He gave me advice on my timeline and worked SO well with my day of planner.
Hire them if you want peace of mind and a DJ to execute your vision. -

NorCal Pro Sound did a great job at our wedding! They were responsive leading up to the event, getting back to emails and scheduling calls to walk through selecting songs, go over specific details of the ceremony, and answer any questions we had. They worked well with our planner (who had originally recommended NorCal Pro Sound to us) and venue too. They took some of our more interesting requests (a short karaoke-like section) in stride and worked well with us on the music selections and timings of moments within the event. The lavalier mic on the officiant worked great during the ceremony and and the lighting was excellent during the dancing. DJ Refugio did a great job, we couldn't have asked for anything better leading up to or during the event itself! -

NorCal Pro was not only extremely responsive to our increasingly frantic questions as we got closer to our wedding day, but flexible! It was extremely comforting to us to work within their well-defined structure ahead of time, knowing that all the pre-work would make the day-of run so much more smoothly.
On the day of the ceremony, we had some unexpected inclement weather and NorCal was able to pivot at the very last minute to support us in our move inside.
On top of THAT! DJ Mateus was absolutely fantastic. We were up-front about needing some supplemental suggestions for our dance block, and he was able to review our playlist and make logical leaps that made the guests feel like they were listening to their OWN jams. Considering the variety of generations and nationalities, this was unexpectedly touching and wonderful.
THANK YOU DJ MATEUS. You helped make our wedding literally perfect. -

Their app was fun to use and we particularly liked the "do not play list" which they respected. Tony had great suggestions for certain aspects of our wedding which we were not sure about. He also seamlessly integrated the very different music tastes of me and my husband! The day of our wedding Tony was a lifesaver with providing a microphone for our officiant, double checking the speech order which our planner had got wrong, and most importantly he brought the dance floor to life!!! We could not recommend him enough. He was our all time favorite wedding vendor! -

DJ Willie G was hands-down, the best vendor I worked with for my wedding. Throughout the process he was extremely responsive by text, email and phone. When I had a sudden idea for a song mix, he immediately put together a sample and called me to work it out. Music and dancing were of paramount importance for my wedding and I'm extremely satisfied with the level of service I got from Nor Cal Pro Sound. Willie was courteous in working with me to design the playlist and supplement it based on some seed songs. I got so many compliments on the music that night.
If you're looking for specific songs to play, the app is pretty easy to use, but Willie was also very knowledgeable and experienced in DJing weddings and could run with little direction. He helped me arrange the music for our first dance and also cut little clips for the entrances for each member of our wedding party. If you care about music and dancing for your wedding, don't skip the DJ! -

Dj willie is the bomb!
Our wedding planner recommended Nor Cal Pro Sound to us when our original DJ could not make our new covid-postponed wedding date. Immediately we were impressed by the team's prompt and detailed responses. They were also extremely on top of communication, planning out multiple phone calls to go over the process and make sure we had everything we needed. We ended up having to postpone our date a second time, and they worked with us to be sure they could still DJ our new date. They made the process so stress-free and easy. We specifically worked with Alex, Tony, and our DJ, DJ Willie Gonzalez. On the day of the event, Willie was able to mic not only our officiant, but also our friend who was singing and playing guitar during the ceremony. Our guests could hear everything beautifully, and the sound was extremely well-balanced, which can be difficult to achieve sometimes in outdoor venues. For the reception, Willie helped us create a diverse and fun playlist, along with specialized lighting, that had guests dancing all night. Our guests even commented that they could hear our toasts and speeches very well, even from a decent distance from the stage/speakers. When my husband forgot to pick up our wedding cake in town, DJ Willie sent his assistant to pick it up for us, so we could still have our ceremonial cake cutting. I will never forget how absolutely above and beyond Willie went for us to make our day special. He even took photos of the reception and sent me the link later that night. We can't recommend Nor Cal Pro Sound enough for your special event. -

Being a wedding planner, I have worked with Nor Cal Pro Sound many, many times, so it was a no brainer when it came time to plan my own wedding that I wanted to work with them on my special day. Their staff are knowledgeable, professional and fun. Music is not an area of my expertise and they were able to make great suggestions and kept the dance floor packed all night long. It was really the best set of music I have ever heard - which is amazing given I didn't give them much direction. One of my pet peeves with DJs is that some of them will talk too much on the mic or are "cheesy" and Nor Cal Pro sound is not that DJ, which is why I love working with them. As an MC, their announcements are professional, straightforward and they understand how to keep it classy. That was very important to me. Not only did they provide DJ and MC services, they also provided lighting for the wedding. They up-lit all of trees at my venue which made it look like a fairytale as the sun began to set. They also did custom artwork with a logo with my fiancée and my names. Personalized touches like this is what makes Nor Cal Pro Sound stand out as a premier DJ company. I have planned hundreds of weddings and from experience I can truly say that this is the BEST DJ company in wine country. If you want someone who will listen to you, arrive super early for set up, double check everything in advance, stay professional on the microphone and keep your dance floor absolutely packed - then this is the DJ company for you! To review our experience with Tony (and Nor Cal Pro Sound) as only a 'DJ and photo booth vendor' for our wedding would seriously undersell the support and services that both Tony and his team provided us throughout the wedding planning journey to the big day!
Tony was incredibly responsive, responsible and thorough from the moment we started to work together. He was a great sounding board for ideas, and he provided a lot of great insight into day-of logistics/best practices that helped us figure out the type of music entertainment experience that we wanted for our guests.
His experience and expertise also helped to open a broad network of vendors to us once we figured out that we wanted a blend of live music for the ceremony and DJ'ed music for the reception. He made a great recommendation for the live trio we wanted (Carl Vast), and helped us work seamlessly together to button up final details.
Separately, Tony also provided valuable insights regarding reception room decor, dance floor set up and track lighting that went above and beyond what we expected from a 'DJ vendor'. He worked magic with our wedding planner behind the scenes to create a wonderful party ambiance, relieving so much stress leading up to the event and making it so much easier to just be in the moment with our family and friends.
For both the dance floor and photo booth, Tony and his team were also incredibly patient and flexible working with us to get to the gobo light 'logo' design of our dreams. It's hard to make a dinosaur themed logo (don't judge!) feel wedding appropriate, but they were awesome in working with us through lots of design options, ideas and rounds of review.
Our wedding was a truly magical day, and we owe much of the wonderful memories that we will have forever to the awesome behind the scenes support, day of professionalism and tremendous dance party wizardry of Tony and his team! -

Amazing Party!
Tony and Fabian were excellent! They provided us with a super fun photo booth and Tony had the dance floor rocking all night. Very professional and got our playlist and announcements just right. Very organized in the planning process. NorCal uses a convenient online system to put in song suggestions and help create your playlist ahead of the event. We needed sound and mic's in multiple locations throughout our venue and Tony nailed it! Could not have asked for a better DJ. -

My wife and I got married in August 2019 in Petaluma, CA. Tony was our DJ.. but that title doesn't do him justice. I spent a great deal of time doing research for our DJ and if you are too, then you know you read as many reviews as you can but at some point you have to go with your gut. I'm writing this to tell you that this is the ONLY review you need to read. HIRE DJ TONY RIGHT NOW!! He exceeded any expectations we had of what a DJ would be. Before the wedding, he was so excited for us and happy to talk through the song portal (which is nicely organized and easy to use), walk through the wedding details or give any helpful suggestions. Setting up he brought extra gear in case we needed it due to wind and was such a pleasant presence to have. As a DJ, he read the crowd, played our "must play" songs when they made the most sense and DJ'd the rest with incredible skill and professionalism. As a sentimental gift, my mom gave whistles to my wife and I.. DJ Tony saw us wearing the whistles on the dance floor and without any prior knowledge, decided to play "the whistle song" immediately.. THEN at the point in the song when the whistles blow, he muted it so people could here our whistles blowing.. we were floored!!! Literally, the entire dance crowd lost their minds. It was a big time highlight and DJ Tony made that happen! Our guests would not stop complimenting his service and general friendliness as well. The next time we need a DJ, I'm so happy I don't need to do any research because I'll be choosing DJ Tony or moving the date of the event to fit his schedule. Thanks Tony! -

We hired Nor Cal Pro Sound for our wedding in Kenwood this last June. They were very easy and professional to work with from the beginning. I was extremely excited when we were set up with DJ Dray Lopez for our big day, because we’d met him in the past (he’s friends with one of our bridesmaids) and we already knew how good he was at keeping the party going. Dray was very responsive and worked with us up to the big day to make sure he had every detail in check. Everything, from the ceremony and cocktail hour music, to the lighting and all of the announcements he made went off flawlessly.
The best part of the night (besides the ceremony) was definitely the dance party at the end of the night. Dray did such a great job getting our guests on the floor dancing, and we had so much fun we didn’t want the night to end. We’ve had so many friends and family members tell us that this was the best time they’d had at a wedding, and so we’re so happy we went with Norcal Pro Sound and DJ Dray. I’d highly recommend them to anyone and will be using their services again for future events.
