Spectacular!

Martelle and his crew are amazing! The date for our wedding reception (AKA Extravagayza) was changed three times due to the pandemic and let me tell you...it was worth the wait! We received so many texts the next day saying that the music was freakin off the chain! We also hired them to do the up lighting and a photo booth. The lighting helped set the mood for a fun night of dancing and the photo booth captured the playfulness in our guests. Just hire them - you won't regret it!

Martelle is amazing

Martelle was an incredible DJ for our wedding. He was extremely professional and flexible with all the planning for our big day! He was so helpful with the planning process helping us to find the right songs for our ceremony. Excellent Service

We originally hired Martelle for a wedding but had to change gears due to Covid issues. He honored every line of our contract, worked with us and the venue through every change and update, and was professional and courteous throughout our planning and event. You need to hire them!

We hired Martelle for our wedding and he was amazing and was so easy to work with. He made sure we had everything straight and all the songs we needed were picked. He was a master at seamlessly flowing songs together and keeping the tempo going through the whole night. He kept everyone on the dance floor and made our night so special. I'm so happy we went with his services! I have already referred him to family members and friends for their events!

Martelle is the BEST!

Martelle did an amazing job at our wedding and ceremony!! We 100% recommended hiring him for your event! Our planning meetings made all the stress of wedding planning go away, he made it so easy. He even had a light display option to project our names onto the dance floor. Every guest was dancing. He is professional, pays attention to detail, and has an awesome system that links with Spotify. Perfection

First and foremost Martelle is very flexible and adjusts to your schedule without issue. Martelle is very professional, personable, and family oriented. Martelle offers great knowledge and assistance with the schedule and adjustments or recommendations needed to make the wedding day run smoothly. The program he utilizes makes the process so simple and efficient. Martelle is in constant contact and adjusted things for my wife and I the day before and day of the wedding. Trust the Process

We first met Martelle two years ago — my wife and I (then just dating) attended a wedding Martelle was DJ. We were blown away. Fast forward a year, we are engaged and wedding planning. We reached out to that couple for his DJ info and they highly recommended him — DJ TKO.

First and foremost, Martelle is a family man. He gleams when asked about his children. This was important to us when we were meeting with wedding vendors because our nieces and nephews had a huge role in our day. After our first meeting with Martelle, it felt like we just had dinner with an old friend.

DJ TKO is a Professional. He takes a lot of pride in his craft. When we meet with him, he wasn’t just going through the motions, he listened to our requests and was understanding and respectful — most importantly he made recommendations based off of his wealth of experience.

The most important advice I can give a couple reading reviews seeking to retain a DJ is chose one that cares, cares about your wedding day — in our option DJ TKO is your guy. With our package, he included contemporary music at the ceremony with classical instrumental musicians which he mixed with DJ beats. He also provided all the lighting and the monogram. The lighting was clutch because it changed colors as the night evolved. The monogram was chosen through a huge selection and it was a really nice touch to making the venue special. He also provided an MC for our reception. The MC played a critical role in the introductions and making sure the guests where attentive to that part of the evening. The MC took the time to learn everyones names, and was a great hype man for our wedding party as we entered the dance floor.

We had many special requests, and he took the time to plan them out and included them seamlessly — while adding his own flair. At the end of the day, Martelle had the dance floor packed the entire wedding. Even our great aunt who doesn’t dance and hasn’t smiled in 20 years because she is miserable — was on the dance floor — that is the level this man is on.

Finally, trust the process. Martelle’s style includes multiple pre-wedding meetings and calls. There is a method here, and he is trying to gather as much info as the planning evolves to make sure he can provide you the best experience on your wedding day. He was a huge part of making it the best day of our lives. Thank you.

Consummate Professional with big DJ Sound!

DJ TKO handled the entertainment at our agency's annual holiday party for clients and another smaller event for staff. At both events, Martelle had guests laughing and dancing for hours! Our staff and clients include some individuals with disabilities and Martelle handled their needs and kept the party going! He spun an awesome playlist mixed with holiday hits AND took whatever requests the guests threw his way. He was able to use concert lighting to extreme effect, turning an otherwise drab banquet hall into a flashing, sparkling dance club. He was set up and ready to go long before the first guest arrived.

Martelle was a great professional and we enjoyed him throughout the entire process. He scheduled several meetings prior to the wedding to ensure he understood our needs and preferences. The day of our wedding, Martelle had the party jumping. The dance floor was full before the salad was even served. After every transition, Martelle knew exactly what to play to keep our guests engaged and entertained. A month later, guests still talk about how great of a DJ he was. We really can’t say enough about how grateful we are to have had Martelle and his emcee at our wedding.

I have known Martelle since High School and so has my fiance, so when we were looking for a DJ for our wedding there was no doubt he would be it! We worked with Martelle closely, and he was such an integral member of our vendor team. The first time we met him (before we booked), we ended up talking for almost an hour, and didn't even ask about some of the details we set out to find, just because we were really into the conversation. We met up many more times after that point to go over details. He was extremely thorough, and his online portal was simple to use and had a large catalog. For all the services he provides, he's extremely well-priced. We also used him for uplighting, and a monogram light, and his DJ booth blended in so well with the reception space.
The day of our wedding was PERFECT. Both our families are big dancers, but he had them on the floor before we were even introduced!!! We also had a mini dance session after our first dance (his suggestion), which worked really well. The dance floor was packed the entire night. He played great songs and knew how to read the room perfectly.
Highly, HIGHLY recommend this company, and especially Martelle to anyone we know!

Oh man, I can't say enough about how incredible Martelle and Matt were at our wedding. Our main goal (other than getting married, of course) was to throw a great party and they facilitated that effortlessly. They kept the dance floor packed from start to finish which was exactly what we wanted. Not to mention, their attention to detail and our music preferences was incredible. I don't know what I expected from working with them but they exceeded my expectations by taking their role in our day and the planning of it very seriously. We found DJ TKO through suggestion from our photographers and they are so awesome! We didn't have a clear idea of what we wanted in the beginning, but Martelle was super nice and helped us figure out what we wanted. Martelle was awesome. He went above and beyond in preparation for our wedding. Martelle made sure every detail and request (we had alot) was met and fulfilled for me and my wife. Our wedding was on New Years Eve and with a tight timeline he was able to get in all the songs we wanted and provided a great countdown to the New Years. After having the chance to meet Martelle and Matt at another wedding, we knew we had the DJ for ours. Thier professionalism, attention to detail, and perfection of their craft had us sold. We had no reason to look elsewhere. The planning system they use is great, being able to pick and choose what to play for each part of the evening was awesome. Martelle was incredible to work with! I'm very selective with my music, and the feel I wanted for my wedding, and he absolutely nailed it! His quality of work and professionalism is exceptional. My husband and I live out of state, and Martelle was very accommodating in setting up meetings to discuss the day both in person and over the phone. There is also a client portal he provides that allows you to pick types of music, specific songs, what not to play, when to play them, etc. It also creates a basic outline of your day, so it's very easy to visualize what your day is going to be like. On the day, Martelle and his MC were on time and very professional. Every song played was in our style and as we discussed, and my guests had an incredible time! We also included an up-lighting package that was well worth it and added to an already amazing experience!

When we started wedding planning we had to think most about what people would remember at a wedding, we narrowed it down to fantastic food and awesome music. I found DJ TKO on this this site and met in person a few days later, there was no doubt in our minds we had to book him. Martelle is hands down amazing, our dance floor was packed with every song. He kept everyone up and energetic for the whole night but what was really important is that he listened to our likes and dislikes. We also booked the medium sized photo booth which our guests loved and the pictures are hilarious. From start to finish DJ TKO was professional, thorough, and personable which made our life easier during wedding planning.

Love, love, love Martelle! This is our second year in a row that he DJ'd at our fundraising event and he does know how to read a crowd. He keeps everyone on the dance floor and lots of people commented on how good he was. Not only that, but Martelle is just a great guy who's fun and really nice to work with. Working with Martelle for our wedding was one of the easiest things we had to do while planning. He was so great to work with and made everything so easy for us. From our first meeting with him we knew that we found the perfect DJ for our special day. He was funny and knowledgeable and really understood what it was that we wanted from a DJ. With his background as a club DJ we had no doubts that he would be able to get people moving and keep the energy up the entire night. While we had some requests (which the portal on their website made it so simple to add songs and plan out the evening) we gave Martelle free reign to play what he wanted. The dance floor was packed all night and I don’t think I saw my grandmother take a seat until it was time to leave. He really was our favorite vender and knows the ins and outs of the business. I have recommended him to many people and will continue to do so.

Martelle & Matt At DJ TKO exceeded our expectations! From pre-wedding meetings to the day of, we were pleased with Martelle's professionalism and quick response time. He was sure to get to know what style of music best fit us and our special day. Their website is very easy and fun to use! On the site you can type in which song choice for each special dance as well as songs you want and do not want played. You can even choose which genres you want played most compared to ones you want them to stay away from. On our wedding day, Martelle & Matt were able to read the crowd and make adjustments to keep them moving and the energy high. We were recently married and DJ TKO Entertainment provided the atmosphere for our reception. Martelle and Matt were exceptional. We had a variety of cultures with an extremely wide range of taste in music. Martelle brought everyone together by hitting everything from bluegrass to afrobeat. The mix was outstanding. Matt did a wonderful job with introductions and pronouncing names correctly as well keeping the timeline on track. Both were very professional with a touch of fun. They met our expectations and more. DJ TKO Entertainment is truly a one-stop service. Martelle and Matt did a fantastic job at our wedding. Martelle spent several in person meetings showing us how to set up on the website our song lists, announcements and themes for addressing the bridal party, and Matt even let my best man do a little karaoke at the end of the reception. We absolutely loved Martelle! He and Matt did an amazing job at our wedding. The cocktail hour music was exactly what we had hoped for and during the reception people were on the dance floor the entire night. We even had people dancing before dinner was served! My husband and I also made a mistake in that we accidentally forgot to give Martelle one of the names of our bridal party. We realized this just minutes before the introductions. Martelle and Matt adapted so quickly and seamlessly. We have had so many people tell us how much they loved the music and not just from friends but from older family members as well. Every time we have a party we contact DJ TKO Entertainment. The price is reasonable and the service is excellent. He plays just the right music to keep the crowd moving all night long.The DJ is very professional and flexible. We could not have asked for a better DJ! Martelle really took the time to get to know us and the music that would best fit our needs for our wedding. From the time we first met to the night of the wedding he made sure to put our needs first. He met with us several times throughout the wedding planning to make sure he had the most up to date information. Martel did a wonderful job at our wedding in October. He really helped create a party atmosphere with a constant selection of cool tunes and vibes. Martel was also very receptive to our musical requests which helped personalise the day (sourcing popular tunes from Ireland that you wouldn't ordinarily hear at a Philly area wedding!) and he did an excellent job filling the dance floor. He also facilitated our request for a PA system for our after-party which was greatly appreciated. Both before, during and after our wedding celebration Martel remained responsive to our requests and we were privileged to have such an excellent DJ on board for our big day.

We knew our wedding would be a nonstop party so we needed to make sure that we had a DJ that would keep everyone moving and on the dance floor all night. Martelle and Matt were successful in doing that!

Martelle was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day. We really appreciated the time he took to meet with us in person for our first planning meeting. He put us at ease from day one with his professionalism and expertise.

The music planning website was great and we were able to login and enter our music choices.

The day of our wedding the music was a great mix of new and old to accommodate everyone's tastes. The dance floor was packed literally from the first song through to the last.

For my new husband and I, there was no better feeling than looking around the dance floor at our wedding to see a packed floor and a hundred smiling and laughing faces of our nearest and dearest friends and family having the time of their lives!

If you are looking for a DJ look no further Martelle and TKO Entertainment is the best choice! My now husband and I were from out of town and Martelle made the process so easy by meeting with us when we were in town and having phone conferences when needed. He really made the whole process so easy for us with no stress! We had a choreographed dance and Martelle really nailed the music for us. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding or special event, look no further. I like to pride myself as having great taste in music and parties, and I must say that DJ TKO Entertainment did a phenomenal job of energizing the crowd at our wedding. Working as a team, Martelle playing music and Randy emceeing was the perfect combination to get everyone dancing and keep them dancing throughout the night.
Martelle was a consummate professional throughout the entire planning process leading up to our wedding. We met in person so that he could get a sense of our taste in music as well as the demographics of our wedding guests in order to provide a completely customized experience; there was no generic wedding playlist involved. The website was also very helpful and easy to use: it helped streamline the planning process and brought up things that we might not have thought about otherwise.
All in all, I can't think of a single complaint about DJ TKO. They did everything perfectly which contributed to making our special day a memorable one.

DJ TKO would be a solid choice for your wedding. These guys are organized, responsive, professional, and sensitive to your needs for ALL aspects of your day, whether it's music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music, anything. They will meet you in person to go over your event prior to your wedding...other DJ's are difficult to even get on the phone!

When you meet with them they will go over everything in detail, and ask you important questions that you didn't even think about before your wedding, like, what is your cake cutting song? What is your bouquet-throwing song? And if you don't know the answers they will suggest ones for you. They also have an online system for submitting your music requests prior to your event.

Above all, DJ TKO are great WEDDING DJ's. Other more general DJ's who do other events won't be as sensitive to the demands of an event like a wedding that needs a lot of coordination.

Highly recommend, as they did such a great job with our wedding. Thanks DJ TKO!!!

I researched over 10 other DJ's before being blessed with DJ TKO's reviews online. The reviews were so over the top that I knew I had to see what all the hype was about. From the very beginning, working with Martelle was a very calming experience. Being married himself, Martelle was able to give many inside tips on how to get through the big day as painlessly as possible. He assured me that we would have an outstanding event and he offered a personal guarantee that the guests would leave happy. He was committed to making our event memorable and did not disappoint. He made both the bride and myself feel comfortable that the music, lighting and décor would be immaculate. The uplighting was better than any wedding I have ever been to in my life. One of the nicest touches was a hologram was a hologram of the bride and grooms names that was lit onto the dance floor throughout the event. It brought a classy, elegant touch to an already dream like event. Many of our guests described the décor and lighting as feeling that they were on the set of a Broadway Play. Martelle accommodated numerous last minute requests without complaint. He truly understood the stresses of weddings and when the venue wouldn't let him get in to set up timely, he managed to handle that last minute situation very calmly and professionally. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without DJTKO and I would highly recommend DJ TKO for any event that you need an awesome and unique party!

DJ TKO came highly recommended by professional photographer Eddy Marenco that has worked with them several times. Working with Martelle and Matt before and during our wedding was an absolute pleasure! Martelle was super helpful and flexible when meeting with us, and also just a very cool guy to work with. Matt was an awesome emcee at the wedding and really kept the crowd pumped up and dancing! Also, their new uplighting completely transformed the look of our room and made it absolutely beautiful! Martelle made hiring a DJ for my daughter's sweet sixteen party easy from start to finish! He is incredibly professional and responsive and readily answered all my questions. Although Martelle was not available to DJ our party, Jose was there and was FANTASTIC! Everyone danced (adults and teens) and had a wonderful time. My daughter has eclectic taste in music and he mixed her requests in flawlessly. The TKO's online database of music to create a request list was also a huge help. What a great night! We are still getting compliments on the party! Thank you Martelle and Jose for making the whole experience of hiring a DJ easy and fun!

Martelle and Matt were amazing! Kept the party/wedding going all night. The dance floor was never empty! People were rarely in their seats. Gave great advice on music but also went with my vision. Most DJs just play music, but martelle actually mixed songs in real time. All of our friends complimented his skills and had a blast. I wanted it to feel like i was at a edm festival with a bit of hiphop and he made that happen. Of course, since it was a wedding we had people over 50 and they were happy with music as well. Just enough motown and whatnot to get that age group dancing. He also mixed a great father daughter dance for me and quickly made any changes i asked for. I really can't say anything put positive things about these guys. If i have another event, i will definitely work with them again.

DJ TKO is the only DJ I will ever recommend to couples getting married! They were that fantastic! From the very beginning, Martelle was a pleasure to work with, answering any and all questions my wife and I had in a quick and timely manner. Meeting with him to discuss music and go over details couldn't have been easier but also couldn't have been more enjoyable. He has a mind for music and entertainment! The actual wedding itself was incredible, from the passion Martelle and Matt bring to the general vibe they allow at the party. They were awesome on the mic and with introductions and yet they allowed the party to do its thing, giving it personality and direction. All of the guests were more than pleased, with multiple people from our families and friend groups praising the entertainment. A handful of people called it the best wedding they had ever been to simply because of the dance floor atmosphere and the DJ.

Many thanks to DJ TKO for making our wedding FANTASTIC! Trust me, use DJ TKO!

Martelle was such a pleasure to work with from the very start of the planning process. I am a very big advocate of searching all review websites and making sure the vendor is perfect before even contacting them! Martelle's company had fabulous reviews so when he was available on my date I was so happy! He is quick to respond and professional. He has this amazing website where planning is made so simple - you can basically plan every detail online so he has a written copy of every song request you have.

Now, on to the execution of our event. The dance floor was packed all night long! Need I say more? He played a great mix of oldies and new hits alike, but always knew the right mix to please all ages. Matt was a great MC and had a good balance of wedding announcements but still let the party do its thing. At the end when the party had ended, my one friend really wanted to hear one more song (T-Swift, obvi) and he played it to make my guest(s) so happy!

I would recommend Martelle 1000 times over!

DJ TKO Entertainment was one of the best investments we made for our wedding! They were extremely professional, beyond organized, and made the entire DJ wedding planning process a breeze. Their interactive online tools not only helped us figure out what type of music we wanted, but it also served as a guideline for us when mapping out our timeline of events for the wedding day itself. I got married on Oct 4th 2014 and Martelle and Matt were amazing! From my first meeting with Martelle I knew he was the right DJ! He explained everything and made making decisions so easy! With everything you have to do planning a wedding, anything anyone can do to take some pressure off is great, and Martelle and his team exceeded that!
Im not the best at making little detailed decisions but Martelle was patient and offered suggestions that helped more than he could imagine. He always answered my emails quickly, no matter how little or big my questions were he was always professional and friendly!
The night of my wedding, Matt and Martelle were there early to set up and the music and lighting were amazing! I didn't have to worry about anything! All night my guests couldn't stop saying how great the music was, I had a lot of older family members there and they loved how Martelle played music they actually knew. Matt, the emcee, was great! He had everyone on the dance floor and if he had any questions he asked me before making any decisions. I also got a photobooth through DJ TKO, it was a huge hit! So much fun!
All in all, it was a great night and a lot of that has to do with Martelle and Matt! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Thank you so much guys for making my special night one to remember!

Martelle and Matt exceeded all our expectations for our wedding! The pre planning meetings were great and even when we had last minute changes everything went so smoothly. Our wedding had a very diverse group of attendees and everyone had a great time on the dance floor. Even the photobooth attendants were amazing and went above and beyond with our Photo Guest Book. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ (or photobooth or lighting!) for any type of event.

martelle is a fabulous consultant and DJ to work with, and I am extremely type a. Martelle helped me so much in our client meetings to figure out things I had no idea about. The website is truly a great tool and makes you feel at ease as a bride in the planning process. I'd also like to add my mother LOVES Martelle, and she has fabulous taste ;) the music was exactly what I spoke with Martelle about, and I got many compliments on the music and ambiance.

Matt is a very thorough MC and a great speaker! He really kept things flowing, was funny, and also helped with last minute questions (as in, 5 minutes before we were announced). I was very impressed with him and we had a nice chat as well towards the end of the night. These guys are more like working guests than vendors, I truly enjoyed having them there.

TKO WERE INCREDABLE! We requested the music we wanted which they followed yet payed attention to the mood of the guest and geared their music towards the mood of the room which n return had our guests up and dancing the entire night. I would recommend them to any one having an event and I will sure use their services in the future!

Martelle Thanks for doing an outstanding job as DJ for my birthday/retirement party. People are still telling me what a great time they had at the party! Please keep the time line as part of your package. I found that to be quite helpful in putting the party together. Not only did it help you but it helped my caterer as well. The people who were helping me with the party had a good sense of what I expected to happen and when.

Also being able to select the music ahead of time was a great help as well!

My brother first used DJ TKO 4 years ago for his wedding and since then we have gone to one other wedding where they were the DJ. We had a great time at both those weddings and danced all night. So, when we started planning our wedding it was an easy choice for us to use DJ TKO - and I’m so glad we did! Starting with the planning phase to the day of the wedding, they were so easy to work with. Martelle always got back to me right away, which I have learned is not always the case with wedding vendors. Matt and Martelle listened to what we wanted and made it happen the day of. Even when my friends just had to have our favorite college song at the last minute Martelle made it happen. They worked so perfectly with the staff at the venue it was hard to believe that they didn’t all work together everyday. We also went with the lighting from DJ TKO and it made such a difference to the room - it looked amazing! We have gotten so many compliments about what a great DJ we had. Thank you Matt and Martelle! I can’t say enough good things about them, book them for your wedding - you wont be sorry!

DJ TKO Entertainment is hands down the best way to go for your wedding or event. My sister used them for her wedding and we were so impressed that when my wedding came around I didn't think twice about who would be my DJ. From the very beginning Martelle makes you feel like part of the TKO family with a one on one meeting to say hello, get to know the couple, and see what he can do to help make your big day even more special. He is also VERY well priced and not only do you get a DJ, but he offers an emcee as part of his package, which definitely sets him apart from other DJ options. The line up of emcees available is incredible. There is someone to fit every bride and grooms personality. We wanted someone high energy and that would help us get the shy people up and dancing and Randy couldn't have been more perfect. He was fun, entertaining, full of energy and kept the dance floor packed, even with old people, all night. He helped lead the line dances for those who were new to them and at one point was center of the dance floor in a split (my photographer got a great picture of it!). I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about Martelle. Everything we discussed in our pre-wedding meetings was executed perfectly the day of. He played the most perfect music for the crowd that was at my wedding and our dance floor was packed all night. I received endless comments after the event that they all just loved the DJ and he played such a great mix of music. He was also very flexible and if I wanted to deviate from the plan the day of the wedding he was more than happy to change it up. I HIGHLY recommend DJ TKO Entertainment. Martelle is simply AMAZING and you can't go wrong with ANY of the emcees. Thank you thank you thank you Martelle and Randy for making our day so perfect!!!!

DJ TKO Entertainment was absolutely awesome at my wedding. Martelle was great at keeping our guests on the dance floor and really has an instinct for knowing the music people want to hear. These guys are the best!! My husband and I decided on TKO Entertainment after they DJed a friend's wedding, and we are so glad we chose them! They were amazing throughout the entire process. They were so great during the planning stages, and really helped to talk us through a lot of the details that we hadn't even considered. They really almost served as event coordinators as well as DJs. They worked with us to stay within our budget while still providing the best service, and the value is outstanding. On the wedding day, they were there early and all set up when our guests arrived. And the music was GREAT! Our dance floor was completely packed all night, we even had to move tables to make more room for dancing! The music was perfect for everyone at the wedding, good for all ages, and people are still raving about what a great time they had at our wedding. I would recommend DJ TKO to anyone, and we will absolutely be using them again in the future!
