Amazing team!

We just returned from our amazing destination wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico and DJ Suhel's team definitely brought the vibes! We worked with DJ Pratik and DJ Vivek for our Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding, and Reception and the atmosphere was electric! Our crowd is known to party and the music kept our guests on the dance floor all night every night. The entire team really listens to your vision and what you are looking for. 100% recommend for any future events!

Excellent and highly professional

DJ Suhel sets the standard by which any other event DJ should be measured. He’s been in the industry long enough to know exactly how to control the energy and momentum of the party, and ensure it runs smoothly

We just got married this past weekend and he DJ’d both our Sangeet and wedding. He cultivated the music choices so that each day was different and each went off perfectly. His MC skills are top notch and he knows how to improvise in any situation to keep the audience In great spirits. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

An essential member to our wedding team

Suhel is of course a phenomenal DJ and knowing that, we decided to book him very early on in our wedding planning process; but more importantly, Suhel is an entertainment guru and perfectionist in every way. Oscar & I got married in NYC and Suhel handled all of our wedding and reception entertainment so seamlessly! In one room at one event at any given time we had multiple live singers and instruments performing as well as various MC duties and Suhel managed all of them so so well!! Without him, we wouldn’t have been able to collaborate on so many different levels and offer different musical experiences to our guests. He always went above and beyond to help us in all aspects of the wedding if we ever needed. He even made all 7 of our dance mixes for all events, he offered projection lighting for our home, and he brought us a phenomenal live shennai and tabla player for our wedding! It goes without saying, but the guests had the time of their life during the reception all because of Suhel at the DJ booth!! Suhel, #ShaiviWonAnOscar would not have been possible without you so thank you so much ♥️

The music and entertainment in any event sets the tone to how the evening will go especially at one's wedding and DJ Suhel created the perfect environment throughout our whole wedding weekend. His absolutely amazing selection in music and enthusiasm truly made every event of ours starting at the Sangeet at the Richmond County Country Club in Staten Island to our wedding ceremony and reception at the Plaza Hotel and Ciprani on Wall street truly memorable. He was able to cater to the different styles of events going from the loud and exciting Baraat to the traditional religious ceremony and lastly ending with a fabulous reception all in one single day. He ended our day in the best possible way by having every guest on the dance floor at all times. His ease at which he is able to switch gears according to the style of event and guests present is truly unremarkable. This is the first time I have ever hired a DJ on my own and I will surely never pick anyone else for any of my events except Suhel.

Flawless and exceeding expectations

DJ Suhel is without a doubt the BEST in the business. My husband and I had a four event Indian wedding this August and we hired Suhel for all our events. Our Mehendi and Sangeet were at my family's home in Old Westbury and our Wedding Ceremony and Reception were at The Plaza Hotel in New York City. DJ Suhel made the planning process so much fun and kept in contact with us throughout the one year wedding planning process for any questions we had and any details we were working on. I was working with DJ Suhel closely a month before our wedding so that he could make me a perfect, custom bridal dance mix where we were even able to incorporate a personalized voice note from me to my groom! Aditya was so surprised and I was so happy with how this came out! During our Mehendi event we started off the night with a professional singer and live music and then transitioned to DJ Suhel. DJ Suhel was able to handle this transition so smoothly and got every single person on the dance floor! I appreciate he played all my favorite Bollywood classics which I had requested as well as made sure the music would be different from the Sangeet the next night. The next night was the Sangeet and we had many performances from our friends and family. DJ Suhel made sure he had all the music beforehand and that everything was seamless. We had a glitch with our generator for our tent for a few minutes and DJ Suhel was able to reroute all the power to his own personal system and made sure that our tented event looked exactly how we wanted it and that all the sound and lighting was PERFECT. There were no glitches at all and the night was flawless due to Suhel handling everything like a true professional! Suhel made sure everyone was on the dance floor and we even worked with him to get a Dhol player!!! One of my favorite highlights for the Mehendi and Sangeet night is when DJ Suhel would always say “Who’s ready to see Aditya and Tiya get married on Saturday?!” That is a memory I am always going to remember!!! On Saturday we all moved to NYC for the Wedding and Reception at The Plaza. DJ Suhel led a Baraat in the middle of NYC in the absolute BEST intersection, 5th Avenue and Central Park!!! We had live professional Indian dance performers leading our guests at the Baraat and DJ Suhel coordinated that music perfectly. He hyped up the crowd throughout and got all our guests to participate. He even had a dhol player lead all our guests into The Plaza and up to The Terrace Room for the wedding ceremony. We have so many pictures of guests, tourists, and New Yorkers staring in awe and joining in the fun festivities! People still watch videos from this to this day! He then coordinated the music beautifully throughout our wedding ceremony along with his team of a live Indian sitar and tabla player! Our guests were in awe with this detail which added the perfect Indian touch. We had DJ Suhel be the MC and DJ for our Reception and this was the best decision. I wanted a MC. who would have the perfect energy as well as be efficient so that we were running on time and we could get everyone dancing on the dance floor, Suhel was perfect for this! Suhel conducted everything perfectly and then once the party started he was able to cater the music to the tastes of all our various guests. Suhel is awesome between transitioning from Bollywood, to pop, to EDM, and everything else you may want! Everyone was having an AWESOME time and I LOVED dancing and rocking out to his music on our stage. He is the EXACT professional you want when you are having your wedding at such a classy, iconic, and special venue like The Plaza. All our guests had a fabulous time and told us that we had the BEST WEDDING and DJ!!! Suhel has become a close friend and I am so happy we stay in touch even after the wedding. My family and I would hire him again in a heartbeat for all our future parties. In fact, I keep discussing with him that I literally cannot wait to hire him again for our next celebration!!!!!! I was an extremely particular bride that did my due diligence on every single vendor I hired and made sure to look into all details and I can tell you - Hire DJ Suhel, I can vouch that he is the best in the industry and your events will be flawless!!!

We used DJ Suhel in Philadelphia last October. They were great! Pratik was our DJ for the night and he was on point. Our crowd was a mix of Americans and Indians...about half and half. Pratik did a great job MC-ing and reading the crowd. We had folks on the dance floor ALL NIGHT.

Leading up to the event, Suhel and his team answered each and every of our questions...guiding us along the way on optimal sound and lights. After our event, we had compliments from all of our guests. We highly recommend using DJ Suhel, DJ Pratik and their team.

Of all of the choices we had to make for our wedding, hiring DJ Suhel was the easiest and best decision we made. He was referred to us by a close family friend who we trusted would not steer us wrong. DJ Suhel is the mark by which others in the industry measure themselves. He knew exactly what our fusion wedding needed to make sure everyone had the time of their lives. Our guest list was extremely varied by both age and culture. The music he chose for the reception kept the dance floor packed! We gave him some songs we liked beforehand, but also gave him the liberty to deviate from that and use his judgment. We are definitely glad we did because he knows exactly how to fill up the dance floor. His energy made our intros and program of toasts seamless. The ceremony music was perfect. Our pre-wedding event also ran so smoothly with lovely and appropriate music from DJ Suhel. Aside from his DJ skills, his guidance helped us in choosing and steering our other vendors as well. He is a great resource, and he willingly and happily shares his experience with his clients. You will not be disappointed with DJ Suhel - he is truly the best!!! We already have him booked for the next family wedding next year!

DJ Suhel is known to be one of the best in the business, but after our wedding we can truly say we know why. Just WOW! Suhel's music set the tone of our entire event, and he absolutely brought the house down for six hours straight. We are a bi-racial couple (Irish and Indian) so for the reception we wanted music that would reflect both sides, and Suhel was able to execute on that vision seamlessly. For our after party we asked for old school hip hop and R&B, and Suhel came through with one of the best sets we've heard at any event, and he looked like he was having a great time doing it. Suhel has the unique ability and talent to keep people dancing for HOURS straight by reading the crowd and reacting quickly. With very little direction he was able to execute perfectly on our vision for lighting. We can honestly say that this is the best money you can spend on your event!

Our experience with Suhel was incredible.

0. Months in advance of our multi-day wedding he provided us an outline to fill out which was very helpful for us, our wedding planner and wedding coordinators.
1. He is extremely talented as a dj and knew exactly the type of music we were looking for
2. He and his staff were very professional
3. He brought cases of his beer to the event 1947. I highly recommend tasting it and requesting it for your event. It's delicious and goes very well all cuisines.
4. He was able to execute a performance with a dhol player and electronic violinist which required coordination well in advance of the event. The performance was flawless

DJ Suhel has now done over 5 wedding for our family, so we knew we would go with him for ours - and as usual, he brought the party! Between the Garba, Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding, and Reception - each event was done perfectly and the guests didn't want to get off the dance floor! He also included a cloud effect for our first dance and also TV screens for a slideshow, both of which turned out great!

He and his team were so easy to work with and did a great job - couldn't recommend them enough!!

I don't think I can describe how awesome our experience with DJ Suhel is. All I can say is anyone who really wants to have a FUN event should use him. He is so patient, friendly, funny, courteous, flexible, and so easy to work with. He really has a great spirit and when he see's his clients and guests having a good time, time does not exist and that is such a special feeling because he keeps it going. He will travel everywhere and anywhere to make sure his clients are getting the best needs. He gives good advice and helps plan your events and doesn't hold back any information. He did amazing lighting which added so much more to the ballroom decoration. He even MC'd the event which was amazing help so all family members and wedding party didn't have that burden. The best part is he builds a great relationship which makes you WANT to work with him again. I would definitely love to work with him again!

Suhel did the lights and music for our reception of 300; he was fantastic. I was very keen on having a very different Indian wedding reception as our crowd was mixed. I made some very detailed requests for various segments of the night and he delivered. The music was never obscene or intrusive; it was just as we wanted. I would highly recommend Suhel and happily hire him again. By the way , he also makes the event flow very seamlessly.

This is extremely delayed as Suhel deserved this review right after our wedding day. Having an amazing DJ is so CRUCIAL if you want your wedding or event to be an unforgettable one. Suhel is just that and then some. He is incredibly dedicated and passionate about what he does and it manifests superbly in his work. 5 stars across the board is not enough to demonstrate how lucky my husband and I am to have had Suhel DJ all of our wedding events. Since my first point of contact with Suhel, he made me feel like family and never hesitated to address my questions or concerns. He took the time out to know our interests and music preferences and tailored each of our wedding events based on that. Although we would never think of anyone else for our DJ and entertainment needs and vigorously recommend Suhel to everyone, his work speaks for itself. I had so many friends express to me how much fun they had at our wedding and how amazing our DJ was. And it goes beyond just the dance music. From coordinating the family entrances and bringing the hype to our bridal party to the stunning lighting job and creating an electric atmosphere, our experience with Suhel was UNFORGETTABLE. We urge anyone and everyone who is looking for a DJ to call Suhel immediately!

Although I wasn't directly involved in choosing Suhel, my brother worked closely with him for almost a year in order to make my wedding the party we wanted it to be. He was very accomodating and made sure that all of our expectations were met for the wedding and reception. He kept the party going and not a single person was sitting down during the reception (and our guest list was around 500 guests), so that just speaks to the kinds of music he played and the energy he had for our wedding. He made sure that mine and my husband's tastes were reflected throughout the entirty of the reception and for that I am truly grateful (no cha-cha slide here!). Thanks to Suhel for keeping all of my guests on their feet for almost 5 hours!

Suhel did an amazing job with our wedding! We hired him for lighting and DJing for our ceremony and reception. For lighting, I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for and he delivered exactly what I had envisioned. As the DJ, he kept our dance floor packed all night long! I got so many compliments throughout the night (and in the days after the wedding) about how awesome the DJ was and how much fun everyone was having. Words alone seems deficient in truly explaining how exemplary, professional, kind, funny, and generous Suhel really was as the DJ for our Indian Wedding in Tarrytown, NY almost 3 weeks ago. Also simply calling him a DJ is not appropriate either because Suhel was more than just our DJ. He was our trusted advisor.

From the very beginning, Suhel gave us invaluable advice to help us plan our wedding and prepare us for situations and scenarios we would otherwise have never been aware of. There was not a week that went by that I didn't text, call or e-mail with him (And that says a lot because he is an extremely busy man. Don't believe me? Take one look at his Facebook page chronicling all the events he's done and then talk to me).

On the day of our wedding, Suhel took care of sound, lighting and music for the Baraat, Wedding Ceremony and Reception. As a DJ he consistently kept a crowd of almost 300 people at the peak of their energy starting with the Baraat and 9 a.m and ending with our reception well past midnight. Even the wallflowers at our wedding felt compelled to dance.

It was a night that my wife and I will never forget. Fun doesn't even begin to describe our experience.

Bottom line: If you want the best, go with Suhel. You will not be disappointed.

Our destination wedding was above and beyond what we ever expected - and DJ Suhel was a huge part of this. I would highly recommend DJ Suhel to my friends and family - he was so easy to talk to regarding what we imagined for our day. He was well prepared with equipment/songs for our destination wedding, even with a mixed crowd. The Baraat, Sangeet, Reception - it was all amazing! He offered great advice on other vendors, on location of events, and honestly was more like a friend or family member at the end of it all. I am glad he came so highly recommended. And I am glad we made the right choice by picking DJ Suhel. He will always go out of his way to make your event what you wanted and more. Thank you!

From music to lighting, DJ Suhel is phenomenal! I’ve known for years that he is the DJ I wanted at my wedding and he exceeded my expectations! He is incredibly professional and was very easy to coordinate with. We had a list of songs we wanted played and he didn't miss a beat and he knew just what songs to play based on the crowd on the dancefloor. Music was one of the most important components in our wedding DJ Suhel did not disappoint! He did such an amazing job that my younger sister just booked him for her upcoming destination wedding!

I might be a little bias since Suhel is also a dear friend of mine, but as you can see from his previous reviews, he goes above and beyond for his clients. We started planning my wedding events a year before my wedding and he was constantly involved in the planning process and providing unique, creative ideas. He took the entertainment, lighting and music component of each event to another level. In addition to his DJ services, his lighting capabilities are incredible -- he has the newest and best technology to take an ordinary room and turn it into whatever your imagination desires. He also has connections with some of the best entertainment out their; live musicians, fireworks, dhol players, you name it, he knows a guy...or a girl! Suhel has officially become the family DJ and we look forward to working with him for years to come.

Our Indian Destination Sindhi Wedding took place in Jaipur, India. This experience was not only new but different for us as I (the bride is from Miami) and the Groom is from Hong Kong.
Bringing this 400+ people wedding together would not have been easier if the elements weren't right!
And and I'd like to thanks DJ Suhel for being one of our Main GUYS! He was absolutely amazing and is the best to work with. I really love his style and his professionalism. Each event of our wedding (Welcome Dinner/After Party, Sangeet & Reception) was an ultimate blast ending at 7am every morning!
I would highly recommend DJ Suhel for anyone planning their wedding and want to have an epic experience !

DJ Suhel has done many of my fundraising events at Pier 60 @ Chelsea Piers & in my home! He is the most professional & responsible DJ I have ever met. My last event was held during a huge snowstorm & other vendors were canceling but he did NOT!! In fact he reassured me that my event would be great & it was. He even showed up early to set-up. His music selections for each event were appropriate & incredible. He kept everyone dancing for hours. I only recommend him to any one who asks for a DJ. In addition, his lighting skills & extras are amazing. They really helped to change the ambiance greatly & are worth the extra money. He is the hardest working DJ in NYC!!!

DJ Suhel is simply amazing at what he does. He is a full service DJ and not only provided the music as requested, he did all of the lighting and transformed our venue into an amazing event space. We were quite selective in what we wanted played and he didn't miss a beat. He is a true professional who learns to read the crowd quickly and can adapt as needed. He had our party rocking into the wee hours of the morning and we still have friends until today raving about the music and the amount of dancing from that night. My husband and I had our Indian wedding at Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe in Playa del Carmen (near Cancun) in early June. For us, one of the biggest wedding decisions was selecting the right DJ. We knew it could make or break the party, so we did quite a bit of research and spoke to many vendors. We are so happy that we had Suhel as our DJ / Emcee and Amit Patel as our dhol player!

Leading up to the event, Suhel was very easy to coordinate with. He was always responsive, regardless of where in the world he was. He connected us to various vendors in the Playa del Carmen / Cancun area. He was also very helpful in recommending the necessary AV equipment we would need for each of our events. He also had a great format for the wedding ceremony and reception that we filled out to ensure that we were all on the same page. This was very helpful, especially since we didn't have a wedding planner. He also helped ensure that we had all the songs we needed for the Sangeet/Reception entrances.

When it came down to showtime, he rocked all the events of our weekend long destination wedding. He kept the party going all night - with our guests yelling one more song at the end of every event. He knew how to read the room and switch musical genres accordingly.

Selecting him as our wedding DJ/emcee was the best decision we made. We can not recommend DJ Suhel highly enough! He was AMAZING!
