Job well done

They did our wedding and had a Photo Booth.. they were organized prompt and very easy to communicate with. They did not disappoint! It was a very fun reception! Thank you

Great DJ to work with!

David was so great to work with! He brought such an awesome variety of lighting and he had an amazing ability to play all of the right music for us! His prices are so reasonable too. The fact that he came out the evening before our wedding for rehearsal so that we could practice with the music was fantastic! Thank you so much for an unforgettable night on the dance floor!

David Rocks!

David Stoltz made our wedding the party we dreamed of! Initially, we did not think too much about DJ services other than we knew we wanted one. David's services the day-of blew us away. He paced the music perfectly, the announcements for food and toasts were clear and easy to understand and, to our pleasant surprise, he brought gorgeous uplighting! David is so cheerful and easy to work with. We only had a few phone meetings and met him in passing day-of and he just ran with our requests so well. Our guests gave us so many compliments about him and we are so grateful to his expertise on our day. Highly recommend!

This is the DJ for YOU

I want to start by saying that my biggest complaint is that I am only able to give him 5 stars on this review. David was quick to respond to emails, answered all questions and did a generally amazing job pre-wedding. Day of he went above and beyond. The biggest and most important job of a DJ is to get people to dance, and he did that for about 6 hours straight. I would highly recommend David for your wedding or any family gathering where you would want an amazing DJ.

Such a great DJ!

David was so great for our wedding! He was so accommodating and was able to easily set up his equipment for our outside ceremony and then our indoor reception. He was able to keep the festivities moving and on schedule! His online planning tool was easy to use and made planning from 2000 miles away so simple! His communication with me during planning was awesome! His photo booth was a HUGE hit! Thank you so much David!

David Rocks!!

David’s was such a pleasure to work with. He was flexible in meeting with us before the wedding, open to our music interests, and played exactly what we asked for the day of. He is great about not being the center of attention day of, but also being available and present when you need him. Pricing is also fantastic!! Highly recommend DJ Stoltz.

DJ Stoltz is the Best!

David was so great to work with! When we first met with him, he went over every single aspect of the wedding from start to finish. He gave great suggestions, provided feedback about what he has seen work well (and not so well) with previous weddings and gave us some ideas on what we should consider when choosing music for our wedding. I really appreciated his attention to detail during our first meeting- he took a lot of notes and asked us several questions about the type of music that we both liked as well as music that our family/friends would like. We were very specific that we didn't want anything that has a "dance" like the Cha-Cha Slide, Macarena, YMCA, Electric Slide, etc. and he made sure that even though we had a guest request the Cupid Shuffle, that the song was not played. Our reception was a total party- there were always guests on the dance floor and we definitely attribute that to David. He played a great mix of music and was very responsive to guest requests (especially when the requests came from the bridal party!). I got several comments from older guests that they really appreciated the music he chose for the cocktail hour and for dinner (jazz/big band style music). I also really appreciated that David kept us pretty close to our timeline- he checked in with me at various points during the reception to give me a heads up on when we should be getting ready to do the bouquet toss, special dances, etc. David was very responsive via email and I really liked his wedding planning website. It was easy for us to add music to our "must-play" list and David was able to find a special song for us that wasn't in the database for my processional. We got a bunch of comments from our guests about how much they liked the DJ and how fun he made the dance floor. We loved every second of our reception and we can't thank David enough for his awesome work!

David was so personable and great to work with! He really wanted to know what we were looking for as far as music for our wedding, but he also provided some really great ideas and input. He was very accommodating and his top priority was making sure we were happy. His online planning services were easy to use and a great way to communicate our needs and wants to him. He made our reception so fun!

We wish we could give 6 stars under value and professionalism! DJ Stoltz was the best DJ for our wedding. He always responded to our emails and even talked to us via FaceTime before we booked him for our wedding. He showed up EARLY at our venue to set up his equipment and to our surprise set up lights all around our venue! They really made it look so fun and inviting! His online platform was so easy to use for requesting music, putting in timeline info, and payments!

We had an outdoor ceremony away from the reception area, he was able to mic us so that everyone in attendance could hear us. Much to our surprise he helped seat guests, passed out water while they were waiting, and did everything he could to ensure our ceremony was smooth and beautiful. It was like having an extra family member helping out!!! Our reception was wonderful! He checked with us about our timeline before starting and ensured we were happy with his timing for events before moving forward. He took requests from our guests and stayed with our requests and music likes throughout the whole night! He was genuinely happy whenever he interacted with us or our guests.

And he did all of this for his base price! No extras or hidden fees! Would 150% recommend for weddings or events!! Thank you DJ Stoltz!

Stoltz records was absolutely amazing and put on a great party ! They played all our favorite songs and provided great service for our special day ! Highly recommend for your wedding and any other occasion you would need a DJ for !

DJ Stolz is the best DJ! My husband and I had requested a late night dance party for our wedding( aka...no curfew!). Not only did DJ Stolz happily accept our request to dance all night long, he had the best playlist and continued playing music until the last person left the dance floor (me...the Bride...and my two sisters)! We danced until 3:30 am. He also went above and beyond and helped the catering staff in order to keep up with the planned flow of events (e.g., passed out champagne flutes, poured champagne, etc.). We continue to recommend DJ Stolz to all of our family and friends. Thank you for making our wedding so special and so much fun!

The communication while planning our wedding was amazing! I currently live across the country and David and Hannah helped me plan the perfect music for my wedding while I so far away. Then when I came home for my wedding they met with me in person to make sure everything was perfect. The actually wedding day was everything I could have dreamed of and more and Hannah and David were a huge part in making that happen! I would recommend these wonderful people to anyone looking to have a perfect wedding!!!!

Absolutely amazing! David was super helpful and always communicated with us in a timely manner. The music was perfect for the occasion and crowd. David was always professional, and was very fun and friendly at our wedding. He also serves as a last minute coordinator as we never really worked out a wedding schedule. He was a great mc, his equipment was perfect no worries about mics or anything for our officiant and toasts. I would highly recommend David for any occasion especially a wedding! He was great to work worth and be apart of our big day!

We were so fortunate to get David as our DJ. We were planning our wedding from Los Angeles and had to deal with vendors via email and phone. David always responded right away. Not only was he on top of things he has a massive music library! He was kind enough to meet with us a few days before the wedding to go over everything. He is very experienced. He did our music for the wedding march as well. When it was time to go inside he was a wonderful MC and all the songs flowed perfectly! We hall had such a wonderful time, we would highly recommend him!

David was really amazing. When we met with him he was very happy and so professional. He asked us all of the questions and helped us so much. He was so organized. He is experienced and you can definitely tell by talking to him. He has this awesome website that you can choose all of your music. We really recommend him for your wedding. Could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding!! David did an amazing job putting everything together for our ceremony and reception. He was so great! He showed up before he said he would had everything set up, and was extremely courteous and friendly. He even comforted my puppy when he got stung by a bee. It was apparent that David really knew what he was doing, all moods were perfectly set all evening, he played all the songs I requested and none that I told him not to. He did a great job about being flexible with the timing of things at my wedding. (Cake cutting, first dances etc) he also had access to a wide variety of songs not typically played at weddings, as the final song of the night for me was 5000 candles in the wind he had no problem getting that for me. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

David Stoltz was amazing!! He was very professional from the beginning and was very affordable. We had wanted a fun party atmosphere with lots of dancing and David gave us exactly that. He kept everyone on the dance floor, and was the absolute perfect wedding DJ. We had a great wedding because of him!

Originally we weren't going to have a DJ for our wedding, after thinking it over we decided it would be easier to hire a DJ. That was probably the best decision we could have made. David was absolutely fantastic! He had wonderful suggestions and input that were invaluable. He was so flexible and easy to work with. He has the perfect balance of personality and professionalism and he was extremely organized. The website was easy to use and had a ton of music options. We were having a hard time choosing the mother/son dance song but were able to find a song on his site that was great. I will be recommending him to anyone who needs a DJ

DJ Stoltz Records was fantastic! Working with them on planning the DJ and music for the reception was quick and simple, and they even helped make a very last minute arrangement for a guitarist at the wedding. Their quality was fantastic and they were great to work with. I really can’t say enough positive things about them and the whole experience.

David was the perfect DJ for our wedding! During our ceremony, he had the timing perfectly for all of the songs, and had it at the perfect volume (which is actually quite important). We gave him a list of songs that we wanted played during the reception, and he created the perfect soundtrack from it. Multiple people came up to us and commented on how great the music was, and we know that we can only take credit for so much of that--David read the crowd perfectly and played the perfect songs for each moment. Additionally, his transitions between songs and his announcements (for speeches, first dance, etc) was expertly managed.
David also came to our rehearsal so that we were able to practice with music, which was a huge help! He was very professional, and kept in touch in the weeks leading up to our wedding. We were so happy with the result, and would recommend him, not only for weddings, but for any event requiring a DJ

DJ Stoltz was one of the best DJ's I've ever worked with. He was extremely accommodating, flexible and our day went off without a hitch!!! David is really a master of his craft and kept our guests shaking their groove thangs all night long, he even played some house/electronic music which we love. DJ Stoltz provided the music for our daughter's wedding and reception on September 7. He did a great job with the music and making announcements to keep activities on track. He also came to the rehearsal the evening before, which was a big help.

DJ Stoltz Records was amazing to work with! David and Hannah worked as a husband and wife team for our wedding and helped out with troubleshooting our slideshow, made recommendations for music along with how our schedule should flow for our wedding. They even attended our rehearsal to time our ceremony music and was friendly throughout the entire process. If I know other people who are getting married I'll definitely be sending them referrals because it would be a treat to watch them perform again!

We were completely satisfied with Dj Stoltz! A friend had referred us and we will definitely refer anyone who is needing a Dj. He was amazing, played all the music I asked for and kept the party going. My reception didn't go as originally planned, and he was great about changing the order of our planned events to fit everything in.

David was fantastic to work with! We met 1 time several months before the event and discussed our music tastes and on the night of the event it was as if he was playing from my personal collection! He was easy to communicate with via email and was on time if not early for rehearsal and the wedding. We will use his services again! Thank you David! Great job!

We received several compliments on the song selection for the reception. I wish we could take credit but we gave DJ Stoltz full license to pick songs that would keep the party going and that he did! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night.

A huge list of music to choose from,and I loved the lights they recommended, all at a great price. David Stoltz our DJ was great! He played the music we requested and even let the guest request one at any time. He always had a smile on his face and seemed to enjoy his job . David followed our directions as far as the annoucements and toast went.

DJ Stoltz Records did our Prom and it was amazing! We contacted him about a week and a half before the event was taking place and he was available and was ready to do it for us. His music list was huge and he took our requests and played what we wanted. The upgraded lights and the karaoke was a big hit too. He was professional and asked if he needed to wear anything specific and was just all about pleasing the client. I recommend him greatly.

Dj Stoltz was an outstanding DJ for our wedding! We are so happy that we found David! He was able to do our ceremony outside and by the time we were inside for the reception he already had music playing and was ready for the wedding party to make our entrance. Not only did he help make everything run smoothly, we had the best reception ever. People were dancing the entire night. Many people have told me that our wedding was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding! We have DJ Stoltz to thank for that. He played great music and made it a fantastic night to remember for us all. Not only did he do a GREAT job he was VERY reasonably priced! I feel entertainment is super importaint if you want people to have a good time and he did just that but for a price much less then other DJ's were charging around this area. I would highly reccomend him for any event!

David did an excellent job, both in helping us prepare (timeline, song selection, etc.) and in execution the day of the event. He communicated well, was professional, punctual, accommodating, and set up, took down and performed with no hassles or problems. David is a wonderful DJ. I would recommend his services to anyone who is looking for a professional, responsive, and knowledgeable DJ. I planned our wedding myself, and even when everything got a little chaotic, David was patient and was always so friendly. We hired David (DJ Stoltz) after considering several DJ's in the region. We spoke to one of his references and the pricing was very competitive. Our wedding was in August, but I think we decided on him in the Feb/March time frame. David was easy to work with. For us, Oregon was a destination wedding so most of our communications was done via e-mail and phone. He was very flexible in terms of how we chose to engage.
If you have an exact list of songs, he can execute on that. If you just sort of now that you'd like a bit of pop most people in their 30's would like, he can execute on that. We needed him to bring 2 sound systems, which he did. He also provided some simple lights for the dance floor and extra mikes for the Reverend and for a speech by the Best Man. David showed up in plenty of time and was set up appropriately.
He worked with our requests and added a lot of his own and it was a really great day. We have no hesitation recommending DJ Stoltz.

David dj stoltz was great!! He was very professional, fun and responsive. He kept the flow going great and had some awesome song choices. He was very flexible and stuck with our timeline unless we told him otherwise. Our guests commented on how great he was and everyone had a blast. I never thought the dancefloor would be so popular, but he did a great job of getting everyone in the dancing mood. Thanks again David! You helped make our day amazing!

DJ Stoltz Records was absolutely awesome. Planning a wedding is really hard work. There's meeting with this person and that person and then follow up meetings so I was very relieved that we were able to do all of our planning through e-mails which he replied to right away. He was there with suggestions as I asked for them and always seemed like he was genuinely happy to help. We all got very hot inside at our reception and he did everything he could to get our music pumping outside and totally made our night that much better. I don't think I could have been any happier if we had gone with anyone else. DJ Stoltz Records made all the difference at our wedding. Thank you!!

I found David on the Knot. He was recommended as a great and inexpensive DJ. We called him and found that he was much, much lower priced than the others in town and we went ahead and booked him. He turned out to be fantastic! I sent him a list of songs and every song on that list was played. He also served as the MC and did a terrific job. David is awesome and I would highly recommend him for any event!

David was amazing! He traveled from Eugene to Bend to DJ at our December wedding. My husband and I have never really had a special song together (Well that was appropriate for a wedding) so we told him to basically choose. He chose a great variety of songs that I was more than impressed with! My family and friends still talk about "the awesome music guy" and the guitar hero was a big hit! Thanks again!

Great, affordable DJ service! David met with my daughter and her fiance in advance to talk about their music likes, dislikes, and the event generally; was there very early to set up and completely on task the day of; and was super flexible and helpful as the event itself unfolded. David did our wedding in October, he was definitely a huge part of making everything run smoothly. He helped us with the music choices and created a wonderful atmosphere for not only the dancing, but for the entire day such as when guests were arriving, and when we were eating dinner. David even went as far as to coming to our venue beforehand to help us with some of the decisions as well as making sure he had enough room for everything, since our ceremony/dinner/reception areas were all in different places. He kept everything running smoothly as far as our timeline went. Between him and my wedding planner ( Becky @ Eventcrush ) we had a fantastic day! He got there early enough to setup which was great! David also went above and beyond the afternoon of my wedding, when my brother in laws guitar strings broke, and David went all the way to his house to grab his own guitar for my brother in law to use, which totally saved our exit song! He was very professional and any requests we made he was sure to get them done. I HIGHLY recommend David aka DJ Stoltz to be the DJ of your event! You definitely won't be disappointed! He was amazing!

David was great to work with. He was willing to meet, have phone conversations, and had some great ideas for certain aspects of our wedding. We could tell he has done a lot of weddings because of how he handled the event, and his comfort throughout the whole process. The flexibility of his speakers and microphones was great and everything sounded good throughout the night. We had a great time ourselves and heard nothing but good things from our guests.

DJ stoltz was very accomodating to using a few last minute CDs that I had to mix in to my music choices, he was great with timing and did not charge us for his set up and tear down. I would definitely recommend using this DJ for your wedding. He made ours a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great experience!

I am so glad we chose this couple to be our DJ! We received so many compliments on the music and our dance floor was never empty! Hannah was so flexible in adjusting our timeline the day of due to my wedding party being behind schedule! Also the lighting they brought really was a special touch!! They were so fun, professional and easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone! They devoted their whole day to us which is something you won’t find with all DJ’s!

Disorganized and Chaotic Mess

My wife and I initially hired David because he had been the DJ at my mom’s wedding 10 years ago and he did such a spectacular job then and at her cousins wedding in September of 2020, that we were excited to have the opportunity to work with him. When COVID hit, communication was pretty sparse and it was a challenge to get a hold of him. This I understood because we were in the middle of a pandemic and work was pretty much non-existent. However, when things began opening back up and our day grew closer and closer, it was almost impossible to get a response. I had tried every outlet and finally FB Messenger was the key. Once we had everything planned out, the next stop was our wedding day. However, our wedding day was a disaster. We were not informed that an employee of his company would be stepping in as we were all under the impression that David himself would be there. Ideally, that would not have been an issue except the DJ that filled in had no idea what he was doing—at all. In the end, we did not get what we paid for, but David did make it right and refunded us the entire amount.
