DJ Stan was the best choice! He was extremely organized & professional. Prior to the wedding we touched base a few times & sorted out all of the details together & he even helped with timeline creation. He was there for rehearsal dinner making sure the ceremony walk through was perfect, even down to the bridal party spacing & had the music all cued up for each part of the recessional. I couldn’t be happier with choosing him. The wedding day went smooth & he made sure there were no awkward gaps. The dance floor was packed all night too!! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than DJ Stan for our wedding! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable, not just with the music, but with thoughtful touches that brought the whole experience to life.
Our ceremony took place on a remote beach with no access to power, but thanks to DJ Stan’s wireless and battery-powered setup, the audio was flawless. Every word of our vows was heard clearly, which meant so much to us and our guests.
During the reception, he provided crystal-clear sound for toasts, our first dances, and dinner ambiance, and he kept the energy flowing effortlessly as our MC. He didn’t just play music, he helped shape the atmosphere. One especially memorable moment was when he invited guests to write marital advice on cards and read them aloud. It added a personal, heartwarming, and often hilarious touch that made everyone feel involved.
And of course, when it came time to dance, DJ Stan delivered. He honored our playlist preferences while blending in the perfect songs to match the mood. The transitions were seamless, the vibe was on point, and the dance floor stayed packed.
A fun addition to our welcome table was DJ Stan's Audio Guest book - just a cute rotary phone that records messages! He had us record an outgoing message, and then our guests simply picked up the receiver, and left us whatever sweet or silly message they wanted, then DJ Stan sent us all the recordings as a memory!
In addition to the Audio Guest Book, he also sent us the recordings of our ceremony and all of the toasts! We did not know in advance this was included, and it meant so much because we chose not to have a videographer. The recordings make the perfect addition to our amazing photography (quick shout out to Caylie Mash, who actually referred us to DJ Stan!).
DJ Stan is more than just a DJ… He’s a true professional, a talented host, and someone you can trust to elevate your celebration. From planning, to execution, to follow-up, everything was seamless! We’re so grateful to have had him as part of our wedding team and would absolutely recommend him to any couple looking for someone who brings both technical excellence and personal flair. -

DJ Stan was the best decision we made for our wedding! Having his as our DJ & MC was so helpful and fun from the rehearsal to the grand exit. Stan is very skilled at his work and was very helpful with our complex ceremony and rehearsal spaces. He kept the party going till the very end and was amazing at keeping the crowd involved! I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again for any DJ needs! 11/10 -

I went from being someone who said "Do we really need to hire a DJ for the wedding? Can't we just make our own playlist?" ...to someone who can't recommend DJ Stan enough. A good DJ is so much more than someone with a playlist, and DJ Stan goes above and beyond all the rest.
Stan was organized, professional, and so incredibly helpful throughout the planning process. He had helpful input especially as we didn't have a wedding planner. So many details we didn't even think about, he made sure we had covered. He had great ideas for every step of the day. He respected our taste and wishes and really made it feel like our own, just way better!
The day of the wedding was chaos as a storm changed our plans for the ceremony. Stan got there early and helped us adapt to the changes we needed to make. He coordinated with other vendors to make sure they were all on the same page. He took charge when we were overwhelmed. He had a literal arsenal of lighting options to make the now-indoor ceremony look beautiful. He had little things we didn't even realize we needed, down to scotch tape, or a towel, etc. (Again, he goes way beyond DJ duties!)
Our ceremony went beautifully. Everyone could hear us read our vows as we had been mic'd up (easy, comfortable, worked perfectly without being visible). The sound system and his transitions between songs were flawless. The reception was smooth and stayed on-schedule, and had a natural progression that flowed into dancing. We worried a lot of our guests wouldn't want to get up and dance, and let me tell you not one person stayed in their seats. Stan knows how to get people on the dance floor. Trust me when I say he knows how to make the event go smoothly, how to avoid awkward pauses/silence, and how to bring the party when it's time to party!
I would 1000% hire Stan again. He took so much stress off our shoulders and we couldn't have pulled that crazy day off without him. You will NOT regret having him in your corner! -

DJ Stan went above and beyond for our Wedding! Starting with custom mixes, to acting a day-of coordinator to keep the timeline, a energetic MC, and a DJ to keep the party going. DJ Stan puts in a ton of preparation and effort to learn more about you, the venue, and your expectations for your big day. With his extensive industry experience, he was able to provide excellent suggestions for our timeline, games, and our venue. What a legendary day! DJ Stan helped us DJ and emcee our wedding reception. First off, he puts in a lot of effort and thought into the planning and prep to make it as streamlined and stress free as possible. You just have to fill out a form and a song worksheet. Then, you have a zoom call to work out details and questions. Stan takes it from there. We could tell he took our requests and playlists and worked with them to mold a setlist that would be special to us and that everyone would enjoy. He also had suggestions of ideas/setups he thought worked well in other ceremonies (Cake cutting, special dances, etc.). Hear him out on those! He also has different games and fun crowd involvment options you can include in your timeline. We chose to go with the relationship advice cards. Everyone enjoyed it. During the reception, he also provided thoughtful suggestions based on setup and how the night was unfolding. He was great on adapting his playlist to the vibe of the dancefloor. We got tons of compliments about the music and emceeing! We first saw DJ Stan at a friends wedding who highly recommended him. We are now passing along the recommendation. DJ Stan is your guy! -

DJ Stan was amazing! He did a great job MC’ing our reception, and was so helpful with coordinating the ceremony with our wedding party and live musician. Our event was at the Lairmont Manor, which requires a unique sound set up, and DJ Stan has a system that works with the venue’s layout and rules perfectly. Overall his experience and input was super helpful to us in planning our wedding day and timeline, and he was also accommodating with our requests and goals for the day. -

My husband and I could not have imagined our wedding day without the incredible coordination, superb music choices and outstanding MC service provided by DJ Stan. Starting from the day we reached out to DJ Stan, he was by far the best vendor we could have chosen for the job! When we first met DJ Stan via Zoom, he immediately put us in a great mood just by his personality. We opted out of having a wedding planner or day-of coordinator and I'm so glad we did because it would have been a waste of money. DJ Stan is SO MUCH more than just a DJ and MC. He helped with our timeline and provided amazing feedback to help us have a seamless day. DJ Stan even attended our rehearsal to help us with the timing. He stepped in for me (since I was a bit of a stress-ball) to help coordinate the grandparents, parents, and wedding party and directed everyone in a very friendly, calm, professional manner. As for the wedding day, DJ Stan was setup early, tested mics so there were no issues during the ceremony or reception and would check in with me and my husband throughout the evening to make sure we had everything we needed. If you don't hire DJ Stan, you will regret it!! He absolutely exceeded any expectations we had!! We cannot thank him enough for setting the tone for the day and keeping the dance party alive all night!! -

We had to postpone our wedding twice due to the pandemic, and each time Stan was so responsive and we were so happy that we were able to keep him as part of our vendor team! Stan doesn’t only DJ, he emcees the whole event which helped make our day run so smoothly! Everyone (wedding party, guests, etc) knew where to go and what was happening with Stan’s direction.
Stan helped us come up with ideas to make our reception fun and entertaining, and we were so grateful for his advice! We did personalized intros (Stan’s idea) for our bridal party which was such a fun surprise for our friends and family during the grand entrance. Stan is so knowledgable and has done so many weddings he’s a real pro! I highly recommend Stan for your wedding or any other big event! -

Stan played at a roller derby bout I had put on which is totally outside his typical wheelhouse but he took on the challenge enthusiastically and made it his own. He was incredibly prepared for the event, thinking of every wrinkle that could possibly come out and coming up with a plan to combat it, I didn't have to worry about him for a second. Whether you're planning a beautiful, traditional ceremony or or an outside the box event that totally your own, Stan will curate his work to suite your needs. -

I have never worked with a DJ that is as professional as Stan. He is very detailed and works with you to understand how you want your special evening to flow. He takes extra effort to make the event YOUR event by listening to your input, then carefully crafts his playlist timeline to match yours and then executes it with precision. Honestly, Stan made our event BETTER because he made it seamless via his constant manipulation of the volume and beat. If you want plug in and play, then DJ Stan isn't the experience you want. He becomes an integral part of the success of your event, without you even noticing it. I believe he truly personally cares about making your event the best that it can be. Besides he has some great tunes to match your own taste and special event. I have no idea where he found some of the ones he played. Don't bother calling anyone else, I believe Stan is the premier DJ of Whatcom and Skagit Counties. -

DJ Stan was awesome! We hired him to be our wedding DJ and MC. I highly recommend him to any couple looking for a DJ who keeps the dance floor going all night long! DJ Stan and his wife, Pam are amazing!! Our wedding was the best day of our lives and Stan was a big part of it! The music was perfect, the table games were great and his MC services were the best! Pam helped me with my hidden microphone for the vows and she made me feel super comfortable. The song choices were perfect and kept people on the dance floor, I was getting so tired from dancing but I couldn’t leave because every song was so fun! Ha! DJ Stan is professional, fun and has reasonable prices!! Thank you Stan and Pam!!
