We couldn’t be happier with the incredible job Jonathan did at our wedding! From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely excited to help make our day unforgettable.
Jonathan took the time to understand our music preferences, worked with us to build the perfect playlist ( despite our many changes), and kept the energy going all night long. The transitions were seamless, the sound quality was excellent, and the dance floor was never empty. Guests of all ages had a blast and we got compliments on how great the music was after the wedding.
What stood out most was for us was his ability to read the crowd and adjust on the fly. He created the perfect vibe during dinner, nailed every announcement, and then turned the party up exactly when it was time.
Thanks for making our wedding day so memorable! -

Jonathan of DJ & Soiree Hosts did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding last month! He was super responsive during the entire planning process & has a great attention to detail for all parts of the wedding day. He was very accommodating with our need for additional equipment for the various locations throughout the day & helped to be sure our music worksheet was exactly how we wanted it to be. It was also a huge help that his prices fit our budget, even with add-ons. He did an excellent job of making sure our reception flowed smoothly. Our guests have continuously raved about the perfect music set he curated & played during the reception! I'm bummed I didn't get to enjoy those sets more since I got stuck taking pictures in the foyer! Overall, we highly recommend Jonathan!! -

Our experience with Jonathan was was nothing short of amazing. He was the perfect addition to our wedding and understand our vision completely. The music and hosting for our wedding was very affordable and service was top notch. Jonathan was very open to guest's requests as we had wanted and I have already recommended him to friends. -

Was an absolute blast! Johnathan was extremely professional, on point, and even edited out first dance to get rid of some whistling in the middle. Overall was a huge success and several of my guests commented on how wonderful he was doing. We danced and tore up the dance floor all night long!!! -

We had a great experience with Jonathan! We had a phone call to plan out the music and logistics of the day, and was super helpful offering advice based on his previous experience. The day of he went above and beyond: he was on time, brought an extra speaker so we didn't have to move the one between the ceremony and cocktail hour, played all of our music correctly, and abided by my "do not play list." He did a great job of gaging the crowd and playing appropriate music to go with the mood when venturing off of the requested list. At the end of the night, we had some trouble with a broken down shuttle, and he went out of his way to help the out and jump their battery. His prices are also extremely reasonable for the area. Highly recommend! -

Jonathan is a fantastic DJ! He made our wedding so perfect, was able to accommodate changes to our timeline, and kept the party going all night. He has a very professional demeanor, yet fun and not cheesy (something that was very important to us!) Would highly recommend Jonathan! -

We had the joy and pleasure of having Jonathan be our DJ for our wedding, and he was absolutely amazing!!! From the very first call, he was very patient with all of my questions and there were plenty. He’s very thorough and clear with the process, very responsive… and, did I mention how patient he is! And, he has a great voice... my guests absolutely loved him.
He listened and understood our concerns for the day, and completely nailed our likes for various genres of music. Both, my husband and I, were equally represented during the entire day through the songs played thanks to Jonathan and his amazing skills. I danced the entire time and even my husband, who’s not a dancer at all, was on the dance floor showing off his few moves. Jonathan is a true professional, he’ll make your day go smoothly, seamless and most importantly enjoyable. We had no idea we were running behind schedule until the end of the night thanks to him. Everything we had talked about and planned, was still done and done great, nothing was rushed. My husband couldn’t believe how smoothly everything went and said he was glad we went with Jonathan. He’s very attentive and even checked in on us to make sure we had eaten dinner!
Again, Jonathan, thank you so much for being our DJ. For being so patient with me and my millions of questions. You’re an amazing DJ and have a keen ability to read the crowd, dance floor to get the party started and know how to keep it going.

There are so many great things to say about Jonathan. He had a professional attitude and pleasant demeanor, and was really easy to communicate with. He was very flexible when we wanted to deviate from tradition, and his worksheet made sure that everything ran smoothly from start to finish even with a few location changes. He chose great music and incorporated our suggestions well to keep everyone on the dance floor. His vibe is more on the chill and relaxed side vs. super involved and pumping people up, which worked well for us. The only hiccup we had was when the mic during the ceremony stopped working and it took some time to fix it, since there wasn't another one at the ceremony site. Other than that, Jonathan provided top notch work and he really delivers for the value. I would definitely recommend him to a friend. -

Jonathan stayed with us through two postponements! He was a great communicator throughout the whole process. He even helped us with a project for the mother/son/father/daughter dance that required working before the event and it turned out perfectly! He definitely brings professionalism to the job!
Our main complaint revolves around day-of equipment problems. He did a great job of playing the songs that we requested and following our schedule, but the lapel microphones that we paid extra for did not function. They were going in and out, sometimes completely not working, other times working way too loudly! At the beginning of the reception each of our parents gave a short welcome message and the handheld microphones did not work during that time either.
All in all, it was most important to us that Jonathan played the correct music at the right time and he always did that well! The microphones were slightly frustrating, but all in all it was our only complaint for the entire day. We would definitely recommend Jonathan to other couples! -

Mandy Sent on 09/20/2017Jonathan...you aced it! We had such an amazing evening with Jonathan at the helm. He kept the music going, the people dancing and the flow of the evening on point. Even with a few curve-balls during the night, he was able to adjust quickly and with no guest the wiser. I wish I could give him more stars for his value, flexibility and professionalism because he was top notch. If you need a fun DJ that is so very easy to work with...this is your DJ.
