Michael was an excellent DJ and emcee for our August wedding in Port Townsend. He was easy to communicate with leading up to the event, came prepared and set-up quickly, then proceeded to DJ the dance party of a lifetime! He kept announcements for toasts/food/etc brief but clear and fun, and during the dancing he transitioned excellently between songs we chose ahead of time and songs that were better than we could have come up with. We're so glad we booked him so far in advance! -

Uncle Smiley The DJ kept in close communication with us prior to the wedding day to make sure we were on the same page with our song lists; he showed up early enough to set up prior to the wedding starting. Throughout the day he kept the party going all night long. There was never a dull moment in his performance.Uncle Smiley The DJ's reply:

I do not have enough positive words for Uncle Smiley The DJ!!! After our previous DJ confirmed, accepted our deposit, only to back out a few days later... My fiancée (now wife) found Uncle Smiley on the knot and we locked in a phone call shortly after.
Our phone introduction was brief but in depth, but I told my wife after our call that "He reminds me of me. Book him."... three weeks later and the night before our wedding date, I emailed Uncle Smiley at 1:38am and had a simple request, and that was "Please do not hold back the hip hop & r&b...", shortly after he responded "Bet"...
From our grand entrance to the sparkler exit, Uncle Smiley keep our guest engaged, entertained with laughter, prompt and on script with our timeline and when it was time to dance, he had a little bit of everything in his bag and everyone was on the dance floor grooving (... including me, the groom - at several points during the evening I was so hyped with his selections, I could be seen dancing on the tables lol).
They say everything happens for a reason and with us booking Uncle Smiley, my Wife and I, including many of our guest, believe this was the best wedding we have ever been to, in large part to Uncle Smiley The DJ...!!! -

Thank you DJ Michael for making our wedding reception all the more memorable! Michael is an incredible DJ who is kind, professional, and knows his craft. My husband and I found Michael a few months before our wedding and he was in great communication with us throughout the planning process. His equipment is top notch and even with COVID, he was able to virtually have our family outside of the country present for our reception, who not able to attend in person. He attentive and knows how to go with the flow and make adjustments as needed, depending on the vibe and the crowd. Could not recommend Michael more for your DJ needs. Uncle Smiley the DJ aka Mike exceeded all my expectations. He put together a playlist taylor made for the crowd. Really got the people going and everybody got to dancing and enjoying themselves.
He was one of the most reliable and professional vendors we had, and did not hesitate to go the extra mile.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions my South African family wasn't able to attend in person, but with Mike's help they were able to attend virtually. We could see them on a big screen and they were able to give speeches in real-time. We had the best wedding imaginable thanks, in no small part, to Uncle Smiley the DJ. We had a wedding and Dj Smilez made the event pop. His mixing and excellent song choices had everyone out of their seats. Smilez is by far one of the dopest Dj’s i have ever met. He is flexible, professional and a very talented guy. I would highly recommend him for any upcoming event. Smilez thank you for everything you are truly outstanding. -

DJ Smilez was so kind, helpful and accommodating! I was the bridesmaid for my friend and responsible for booking the DJ. We had him manage our musical bingo during the reception and it was a hit! He was so kind and willing to make my friend's day the best!
