We found DJ shy on the Knot and she exceeded our expectations. Our goal was to get people dancing all night, but the couple had polar opposite desires: one liked Top 40 with singalong lyrics, and the other liked disco with an easy beat. She was able to combine these requests into a night where somehow we were both satisfied. She even played a set of Persian music flawlessly, and got ALL the Persians on the dance floor. We changed a lot last minute, up to the last second, where we gave DJ Shy about 15 seconds to change our closing song that we came up with while giving our goodbye toast. She killed it. She rocked the silent disco, the Persian set, and the entire night. Thanks for the amazing night!! -

DJ Shy helped make our wedding day absolutely amazing! She translated our song requests into awesome sets, kept the vibes awesome, and was so so easy and amazing to work with. 10/10 - cannot recommend more highly! -

DJ Shy is incredible!! We had some changes to our wedding agenda and she did an amazing job adapting changes and helped maintain the ambiance seamlessly! All of our guests were super happy and enjoyed the free dancing part! Everyone's feet were sore the next day so you know they had a great time! DJ Shy is also very organized which really helped us plan each aspect of our wedding. ❤️ -

DJ shy is amazing! She DJ-ed our wedding and had people on the dance floor all night. I had so many guest come up to me and say how great they all thought she was. She was a dream to work with and super organized. She also helped MC and kept the whole day on schedule with was really helpful. I can't recommended her enough! -

I legit can not say enough good things about DJ Shy. Not only is she responsive before the event and well-prepared with all the right questions, but then she SHOWS UP and people are immediately on the dance floor. Seriously, I don't think anyone sat down all night. She also MC'd for all the wedding-related "events" and worked so smoothly with my venue coordinator. Thank you so much, Shy! You just...rock! -

Shy is wonderful, warm, receptive, fun, and has a great ear for her client's musical needs. She's versatile in her musical knowledge and types, knows exactly how to blend wildly different kinds of music beautifully. She was our wedding DJ and put us at ease completely on our big day. She brought us all from tears of joy at the ceremony to straight hyphy on the dance floor at the reception. She helped make our wedding more perfect than we could've imagined.

Amazing, flexible DJ!
DJ Shy was a great DJ for our wedding! She was super easy to work with and up for the challenge of DJing in the woods far from home! She was a true trooper; would highly recommend her for your wedding/party etc! -

We researched DJs on WeddingWire and looked for DJs/MCs that we thought would really enjoy our video game themed wedding choices, and we were super intentional about who we included in our vendor team, as we wanted a team that would be flexible and fun to work with! We reached out to DJ Shy and we met them over a video call to go over our theme and what we were thinking well in advance (over a year away from our wedding date). Shy was super professional and booking her was extremely easy and quick. We booked 12-13 months out from our date! She also sent over documents that helped us plan out our wedding and music choices, which was easy to fill out and send back to her in case she had any questions.
We were really particular about our wedding music since it had a really specific game theme (Chrono Trigger) and we included a lot of notes in our music planning document. We went over the document about a week before our wedding and the execution was just awesome. We had people crying over the music choices. We had a lot of demands of our wedding (3 songs for the processional, light music to be played at key wedding details like our vows and toasts), dance songs that weren't on streaming services that we sent files over for, but every song we asked for was played right when we needed it! Shy checked in with us during reception for some key moments and was always accessible if we needed the mic.
DJ Shy does seem a little bit shy, but she absolutely brings the party and hype to a wedding! She is so kind and awesome. If we held another event that needed a DJ and MC, we'll be sure to reach out to her again! -

It was so nice working with DJ Shy. She was flexible with our song choices, a professional, had all her equipment ready and my wife and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. She was on time and got all the nuances down perfectly. Her playlist was fire! She had everyone dancing the night away which is just what we wanted. Would highly recommend or go see her perform.
