The vibes were incredible throughout the whole night!! DJ had all the guests from all ages on the dance floor the WHOLE night. We had a Mexican and Indian wedding, and both families had a great time, even the photographer commented on how lively the party was. Thanks DJ Shorty!

On April 04 26 I got married and let me tell you if you want a Dj for your up coming event make sure you get Dj shorty!!! Not only was he awesome but he also made sure to be at the venue early to make sure he was set up and that everything was how we wanted it. He kept checking on us and every request or change we wanted to make he was always understanding! He had awesome music playing all night and we never saw the dance floor empty. Best DJ Out There!
We can honestly say this was the best night of our lives and DJ Shorty played a big part in that. We were concerned about our families dancing at the wedding. Shorty told us, “Don’t even worry about that. I know exactly what to do.” He kept everyone on the dance floor for pretty much the entire time! He made everything smooth from the ceremony, cocktail hour, to the reception. He played everything we asked for and did not stray even once. We gave him some liberties to play whatever songs he wanted to keep the energy up and he did not disappoint. We got so many compliments on how great of a job he did, and the feedback was much deserved. He was very responsive through the entire planning process and even offered up some good suggestions. We would recommend him to anyone! 10/10 experience with him.

More than just a DJ!!!!!
When I had my first meeting with DJ shorty he told me that he could help me with anything I was having trouble finding. When my make up artist cancelled on me at 5:30pm the night before my wedding I called him thinking I had nothing to lose by asking him for help. When I tell you he gave 100% to helping me find someone I mean it!! He was constantly calling me with updates, he had family members looking for people for me, he was my calm within the chaos storm. I can not say enough about how AMAZING he was for us as a DJ!! He walked me through everything I needed to do to give him an outline for the day. I want to give the biggest shoutout to DJ Shorty (George) because he was nothing short of AMAZING! I actually found him through a cold call while I was still scrambling to book a DJ for my wedding ..and I am so glad I answered. From day one, George was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout my entire wedding planning process. He even provided me a sample timeline to make everything easier and stayed in constant communication to make sure every detail was handled, even things that didn’t technically fall under his job. You can truly tell he cares about his brides and wants their day to be perfect.
A few days before the wedding, George and I went over all the audio needs and he made sure we were completely set. On the day of, he showed up early to set up for both my outdoor ceremony and indoor reception..no stress, no issues, just smooth sailing.
And when I say he was a vibe… I mean it! He played all the right music, read the crowd perfectly, and kept our guests hyped and engaged all night long. The energy was amazing.

Jorge AKA DJ Shorty was an amazing DJ! If you want a DJ that will play the music YOU want, look no further! He was also a very outstanding MC. Due to traffic, our wedding schedule got delayed. But Jorge got us right back on track! I didn’t have a coordinator during my whole wedding process, and I can honestly say our entire reception ran smoothly because of him. And the cherry on top is that he also speaks Spanish! He was also very much within our price range. I’m glad I made the decision to have him as our DJ and recommend him to everyone!

DJ Shorty came from Houston to DJ our San Antonio wedding! After my MIL found him at a wedding show in Houston, I told her to go ahead and sign the contract. As we got closer I sent him all my day of information, timelines, venue contacts, etc. He ran with all the information I gave him and kept us on time (mostly- my dress change was delayed but that’s my fault!) he still remained flexible with us and made sure I got to dance to all my favorite songs with my husband and friends. I was also very specific about the dinner music and he ran with it and knocked the theme I wanted out of the park. He also worked with me to use a custom monogram I designed for our gobo that was included in our package. I loved the attention to detail, from a bride and professional event coordinator, DJ shorty is top notch service!

Shorty DJ’d my daughters Quinceañera & did a wonderful job! It started with DJ Shorty calling to confirm the booking; we went over the timeline and he sent me documentation to create my timeline so that everything was on schedule and ran smoothly. We went over the music & I had options. I could create my entire playlist and he’d arrange the songs so they flowed well. Or. If I felt overwhelmed with music, I could give him ideas of what I wanted to hear. Which was the route I went. I did both; I provided a list of the must plays that my daughter wanted. And gave DJ Short a list of genres I wanted here. And I was not disappointed! We received so many compliments from guests about how much fun they had, how long it had been since they danced so much, & how great the range of music was. DJ Shorty you are incredible!! Our wedding was a hit! We have been to many weddings and parties but no DJ compares to you! DJ Shorty will keep your party on the dance floor. I am super grateful for a smooth ceremony from giving mics to our live performances and coordination of sound, our multiple party entrances, to our exit song at the end of the night every detail in between to perfection! Dj shorty and his back up DJ Juan really out did themselves at my wedding. He was super communicative the week of my weekend. He ensured me that everything was going to be perfect. He had a death in the family and while I didn’t think he was coming to the wedding, he showed up just to make sure everything went perfectly. He was very positive and kept me informed frequently. DJ Juan was also great. He kept my crowd moving and everyone had such a great time. I highly recommend DJ Shorty and Juan for any wedding or event. I would hire them again immediately. He also posted pics from my wedding, which helps when you aren’t carrying your phone around. His sneak peeks are the best.

DJ Shorty is amazing. He did everything I asked for my wedding and even played a song I sang for my ceremony. Even when things got bumpy he kept his composure. The owner of the venue was awful and wouldn’t let him play music I requested so we switched to Spanish. He let me know that he is also a Marine so as a Marine myself we worked well together. He did everything that was asked of him and more! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!

Wedding receptions are difficult, Shorty helped make it easy and seamless.
I've never been to a party where the dance floor was full all night with people smiling and dancing and having a good time, but that's EXACTLY what happened at our wedding. From the start, Shorty helped us improve our party. He fixed a lighting situation and helped plan the important parts of our reception. Getting in touch with him was easy and guided through how to put together the playlists we needed for cocktails and for the dance. Once he had the vibe down, he used the music we picked with some of his choices and the party didn't stop. Everyone that stopped me said unprompted that it was one of the top 3 wedding they had ever been to. One friend even told me it was better than HER wedding! I never really thought about how our wedding would stack up against other people's, but, thanks to Shorty, the fun at our wedding is going to be TOUGH to beat.

DJ Shorty was amazing! We used DJ shorty for our wedding at The Springs Lake Conroe 9/29/23. From the moment we booked him we loved his energy he answered every question we had. Months following up to the wedding he would check in on us to make sure we didn’t have any questions. He even gave us a timeline template to help. My husband let him know the music he wanted and DJ Shorty played just that and kept the party going all night. Our guest loved it! We also had him play our ceremony music my bridesmaids and myself came out to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and Shorty times it all perfectly! DJ Shorty was spectacular!!! Not your ordinary DJ, he treated us like family. I explained my vision and he helped me deliver. For our monogram, he didnt care how many times we changed it, he wanted to make sure it was right one for wall lighting. He was heavily involved with our wedding planner for the time-line. He helped us alter it to make sure we had every point covered, nothing overlapping and keep the party going. We had three different entertainers, he spoke to every one of them and he helped arrange them with the sound engineer. For the mock exit/last dance, he made sure all vendors were on point because we only had one shot and one shot only. We can't thank him enough. He took it very personal, making the necessary phone calls to make sure everyone, vendors and planner, were on the same page. Best decision made, besides my wife, strongly recommend him to everyone and anyone, from strangers to loved ones......he is the real deal.

He was flexible and was always attentive to our wants prior to the event as we were in constant contact to make sure the music cuts, schedule, etc. were all correct. DJ shorty was the best! He had everyone on the dance floor all night and had such great energy. He was easily able to announce in English and Spanish for our bilingual wedding which was very important to us. He is very nice and always made sure everything was going exactly like we wanted. We also booked our photo booth, dancing on the cloud, and the cold sparks with him and it all went perfectly. About a week before, he sent us samples of the Photo Booth photo strips and was able to adjust them to look like exactly how I wanted which we really appreciated! Also loved how quick he is to respond. Overall he is a great DJ who really cares about making your wedding day perfect!

DJ Shorty Productions was one of my favorite vendors to work with for my wedding. Jorge was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive through the entire process. Jorge had multiple meetings with us to review playlists and schedules giving us his opinions and expertise through it all. Come the day of the wedding he was an absolute pleasure to have. He helped us plan our timeline and even helped and gave instructions before the walk down the aisle. He was very accommodating when we changed some things to the timeline at the last minute. Everyone loved him. He was great and I would highly recommend him for your wedding or event.

Amazing in every single way!
We had a very small wedding, around 40 people. If you’ve been to a small gathering you know how hard it is to keep the party going, well DJ Shorty got the job done. Everyone got up to dance, we all danced for the entirety of the wedding reception. He asked me the type of music I would like to hear and he did exactly what I asked and the type of music I would like to hear. We had such a blast, it was so much fun and everyone complimented us on it being a fun wedding. We would definitely hire DJ Shorty again!

Dj shorty is a must!
I initially met dj shorty at the bridal extravaganza and from the get go everything was great! The lady we spoke to answered all of our questions which lead us to connect later to book him over a year in advance. Which also gave me plenty of time to get the schedule for the wedding in order and make payments. Anytime I had questions or needed to speak to him, he contacted me immediately. He even took the time the day before my wedding to make last second changes and did not make me feel bad about it. During the actual wedding he was on time and followed all directions that I had on my schedule. Due to my officiant not showing up on time we had to skip a few things to get caught up on my schedule. He made the changes quickly and got us back on schedule. At the end of the wedding day I was really happy with how much attention he paid to my wishes, music, etc. My husband and I were extremely happy with his services.

Amazing DJ at our wedding!!!
I found DJ Shorty at the bridal extravaganza in Houston. We heard some cumbias playing when we went by. My sister said "Man they're jammin'". I scanned their qr code and got a call from him the following week. He walked me through the timeline, which was so helpful. Thank you Dj Shorty and your production team for providing the best service ever at our wedding this past Saturday Sept 17th. You guys were so patient and always reassuring. The music was great! Everyone had an amazing time. Thank you to your videographer Jeremiah for capturing our day with the drone and working so well with our photographers. We can't wait to see the video. All around these guys know what they are doing!! We will recommend them to all of our friends and family for their special occasions. Thanks again!!

If you are looking for a great reliable Dj ...DJ Shorty is it! I found him at wedding extravaganza show, he told me all the thinks he would do for me and he came through with every single item! He send me sample timelines for the wedding, which was easy for me to copy and paste our timeline and music samples in it. That helped a lot!!! At the wedding he was early to set up and did a amazing job. We even changed thinks around spontaneously and he just went along and did great. The music was exactly what we wanted, the party went longer than expected ...because the music was so great!

Awesome DJ!
DJ Shorty was an awesome dj to work with! He wanted to know everything that we wanted to do, what kind of music we did and didn't want to hear, and was very accommodating to what we wanted!
We weren't able to send him our detailed music list until 4 days before the wedding, but you would've never guessed! On the day of, music went super smoothly through the ceremony, and the entire night! And even for things we hadn't thought to choose music for (such as the cake cutting) he managed to choose the perfect songs to play at those moments from bands that we loved!
He really made the evening enjoyable and low stress! The music was great! And though our wedding guests weren't the biggest dancers, we had the perfect songs going on throughout the evening while we hung out with everyone and had drinks!
He was also very communicative and easy to reach via phone or email.
Would highly reccomend DJ Shorty to anyone! He is on it, and really knows what he's doing!

DJ Shorty comes through for us!
Our DJ canceled 4 days before the wedding! This could’ve been a disaster but DJ Shorty was referred to us and he was a lifesaver. He immediately called my daughter and they went over the itinerary line by line to determine what she wanted. He made sure to play what she wanted and paid attention to what she did not want. We had a full dance floor and we were extremely grateful to DJ Shorty for making the wedding reception fun for all! We highly recommend him.

DJ Shorty definitely turned up the notch at our wedding! Not only was our timeline already full but our playlist requests were all over the place….that didn’t phase him at all.. he handled it like a champ! He was on top of it the whole night! MC skills kept the focus where it needed to be…music selection was on point,…light setup was classy and for what we wanted it still had that club feel to it. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends!

Indian-Mexican Wedding Reception
My husband is Indian and I am Mexican, so we wanted an Indian-Mexican fusion for our wedding reception. DJ shorty was able to make that fusion possible! He made the music transition from one song type to the other very smoothly. Our dance floor was NEVER empty. He knew the perfect volume for our venue and has a great energetic party voice on the microphone! You can't go wrong with him, definitely recommend!

My husband and I were SO happy that we hired DJ Shorty for our wedding! He was extremely flexible and accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. He was also great at keeping in touch leading up to the wedding and making sure he knew exactly what kind of music we wanted. Then during the reception, he knew how to keep the party going!!! DJ Shorty was absolutely awesome! He is extremely committed starting the day that you hire him. Due to the pandemic, we faced many external issues right before the wedding. Dj Shorty gave us his word that he will take care of us and he 100% kept it. He was completely understanding about our last minute changes and helped us with our other issues. The dancefloor was the place to be
Jorge Cervantes (DJ Shorty) is great to work with! He was always available to communicate and work with our requirements. He took all our song requests seriously and made sure to play them. I don’t think there was ever one point that there were less than 20 people on the dance floor (and that is through cake cutting and dessert being served). He kept the energy high, and the feet moving. He was very helpful in making sure everything followed the timeline, making announcements, taking certain song requests, and just keeping everyone engaged in the wedding.

Don't Pass Him Up!!!!
I will recommend Shorty until my last days. I hired him for my original wedding date in April 2020. Little did we know that shut downs were upon us. Fast forward and TWO reschedules due to pandemic and winter storm, a church fire, gallbladder attack later! February 26. 2021, we were finally able to have our wedding and he was finally able to DJ for us. He didn't have to euro with us but he did. Never asked for an extra fee or denied the new dates. Im truly grateful and thankful to him. He kept the party going all night! He played exactly what we requested and the dance floor was full of smiles. It was perfect. Don't pass him up!
