Hiring DJ Shazam was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From start to finish, he absolutely nailed every moment. The ceremony and dinner were executed flawlessly—everything was perfectly timed, the sound was crystal clear, and the transitions were smooth and stress-free. It set the tone for the rest of the night in the best possible way.
From the moment the music at the reception started, he had every single guest on their feet—and they didn't stop dancing all night long! He has an incredible ability to read the crowd and seamlessly blended our wildly diverse music tastes, from EDM and 80s hits to classic rock and today’s pop. Every transition was smooth, every beat perfectly timed, and every song felt like it belonged right where it was.
One of the biggest highlights was how he flawlessly incorporated a live saxophone player into the set. It added an incredible burst of energy and really took the entire experience to the next level. People still haven't stopped talking about how electric the vibe was!
If you're looking for a DJ who will not only deliver an epic party but truly elevate your event, DJ Shazam is the one. Professional, high-energy, and insanely talented—he made our wedding night absolutely unforgettable.

If I could do my wedding day all over, but could only pick three part to relive… it would be my vows, my first dance… AND THE DANCE PARTY!
It definitely would not have been the same without Adam, AKA DJ Shazam, there to make all the difference.
I found him while doing intense research as the DJ was the only thing that my, now, husband cared most about. I wanted to find someone who could relate to the crowd, feel the crowds energy, bring their own energy, and could provide assurance on the day that they could deliver a successful party! Adam did that and so much more. I hired him only after 1 month of being engaged and wish I still could have even hired him sooner.
He would interact with the crowd and got everyone hyped up for BOTH our grand entrances. Adam also had an app where we could add and track our songs that we wanted played throughout the duration of the day. This helped display his professionalism, organization, and responsibility - he was better than we anticipated!
As a thoughtful memory for my husband and I, Adam put the recording of our wedding day music on SoundCloud for us to even listen back to!
Throughout the process he was so responsive, sweet, and accommodating to our needs for our big day. We would recommend Adam to anyone in his servicing areas. He’s truly the best! Truly!!!! -

DJ Shazam was amazing! He was so diverse and flexible to our music needs. He was able to switch up any songs we needed and merge some together! He did amazing, as a Latin bride he handled my family amazing. Offers lots of different packages for different budgets! 1000% would book again.

We love DJ Shazam! He did a phenomenal job from before the ceremony until the last dance. Adam capture the essence of what we wanted. He read the crowd and kept the partying going late into the night. My husband and I each had music as one of the top two most important elements of our special day - and Adam did not disappoint. The majority of our guests were partying until the very last dance. We would highly recommend DJ Shazam for your event!! We will use him for other events. We love Adam!DJ Shazam's reply:

He's the best. We are still hearing from guests who can’t stop asking about DJ Shazam. An absolute superstar. I find my wife and I are discussing ways to throw more parties in the future just so we can book him again. Honestly.
From start to finish, he exceeded every expectation and created an incredible experience for everyone. He was helpful and supportive, taking the time to really understand our needs and preferences. For those looking for the best wedding DJ...
Adam is an absolute legend! Amazing personality and effortless to work with! After a few short calls he perfectly understood the tone we wanted for every part of our wedding day and worked with us to organize a detailed timeline down to looping certain sections of songs to allow us enough time for our grand entrance. An excellent MC - he did an incredible job with announcing everyone, making sure everyone was properly mic’d during the ceremony and speeches, and importantly - making sure everything was running on time! A true DJ - he constantly read the vibes of the dance floor and perfectly tailored the music to match! Huge compliments on song choice and how he interleaved songs and transitions - he made the night super fun and unforgettable! Many of our guests told us that he was the best DJ of any wedding they’d ever been to. So huge thanks to Adam for an incredible evening and do not hesitate to book him for your wedding!DJ Shazam's reply:

Adam is the best! My wife and I had him DJ for our Fall Wedding just outside Santa Cruz, and the whole process from start to finish was perfect.
He's very organized in his process, and has some great online tools/apps that make picking out music for every part of your event intuitive and easy.
He's super friendly and loves talking to you about your music tastes and background, and he carries that kind energy into the event.
He knows how to get guests involved too -- we had a cousin karaoke-ing Celine Dion at one point, a Groomsmen up there mixing the next transition, and people of all ages going wild for the Isley Brothers. Awesome night, thank you DJ Shazam.DJ Shazam's reply:

We could not be happier with our choice of wedding DJ– Adam MC’ed the entire day, handled ceremony music and sound, toasts, introductions, and transitions, and then threw us the dance party of our dreams! His enthusiasm and organization during planning gave us full confidence in his ability to run the event. He is warm and welcoming with guests young and old, and puts everyone at ease. Before we really understood all of the services a wedding DJ provides, we might have been in the this-could-just-be-a-playlist camp. But no matter how well organized you are (or how good you are at making a playlist!), giving over the management of transitions throughout the day to a professional who knows your timeline provides such peace of mind and lets you enjoy the magical moments that are happening around you without worrying about what comes next. Adam knew our venue and some of the complicated sound restrictions so we didn’t need to worry about any of that. But the real magic was on the dance floor! We had a fun idea for our first dance that Adam mixed songs together to create for us perfectly. Then he took an eclectic playlist we provided with our favorites plus suggestions from our guests and wove it together into an amazing 3 hours of nonstop music. It wasn’t just the individual songs that got people excited, it was the fun ways he mixed them together, the way he moved the energy up and down, and included everyone. Right before the wedding, I watched an instagram reel about how your dancefloor shouldn’t be open for more than 2 hours because no one can keep the energy up for any longer than that, and you risk letting the event end on a whimper instead of a bang. But we didn’t have to worry about that with Adam! Everytime we found a song where we could bear to take a break and get some water, he brought the crowd back with an irresistible beat or a nostalgic favorite and the floor filled back up again! Picking Adam as our DJ was a very easy, yes. From the moment we met him we felt like he genuinely cared and wasn’t just a DJ. He got to know my fiancé and I on a personal level. He was very organized, professional and kind. The app he uses for organizing the music made our experience and music planning process seamless. We highly recommended DJ Shazam!

Adam was such an awesome DJ - he knows how to get the crowd on their feet, and he has such a warm persona. Our meetings with Adam were really fun and very easy to discuss our ideas for the music. DJ Shazam was absolutely amazing! From the moment we started planning, he made everything so easy and fun. Music was a huge deal for us, and he totally nailed it. The whole process was seamless, and he made sure our wedding was the best party ever.
He wasn't just a DJ—he was an incredible MC too. Super funny, really personable, and he got everyone hyped up. Plus, he helped mic up the ceremony and all the speeches, so everything went off without a hitch.
Planning with him was a breeze. He listened to all our requests and made sure everything was perfect. Honestly, DJ Shazam is the best DJ I've ever partied with. I'd recommend him for any event, hands down. He also does tons of gigs at local bars and venues, so definitely go check him out. You won't regret it!

DJ Shazam was a home run! SO ENTHUSIASTIC & GENUINE. We threw so many different genres at him; oldies, cumbias, Arabic music, early 2000s, Latin mix and he killlllled it!!!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night and raved about him after. All of our vendors expressed how he was so easy to work with and had the best attitude!! HIRE HIM ASAP!!!DJ Shazam's reply:

All of our guests loved him and his vibe too, not one guest said otherwise.
