Excellent organization, keeping us on track and music that made us and our guest want to boogie!!

Jeff is not just a DJ to us but also a good friend. He kept us organized as our wedding was just an absolute whirlwind. He helped remind us when our caterer came in, he also helped keep us on schedule - this was so helpful. Jeff played music that evoked all sorts of emotions - we had guests, laughing and crying but ultimately he made sure everyone had a great time. We’re so glad that we’re friends with him because our wedding wouldn’t have gone as well without his amazing help and DJing skills. Thanks Jeff and we are so glad you were part of our special day!

The perfect ending to a perfect day

Jeff did a fantastic job with our wedding reception. He knew exactly what was needed to keep the party going. At the end of the night Jeff got everyone on the dance floor for the last dance and sent my husband and I off with a memory we will never forget. He made our night perfect!

Demonstrably unique and awesome

Personable, enthusiastic, and accommodating. Made for an absolutely perfect wedding day. Jeff guided the entire day: pre ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Cannot imagine having done any of it without Jeff’s direction. Highly recommended for any event.

DJ Jeff is the man

Had a 10/10 experience with Jeff during our wedding on 8/29/20. He met with us a few times before the big day just to hone in in what we really wanted and make sure we were on the same page.

He nailed it! He is very enthusiastic and high energy. His contagious personality encouraged our guests do a lot of dancing.

His price was very reasonable and I’d definitely recommend him for any sort of wedding event. You won’t be disappointed!

Jeff Moore was the finishing touch that made our reception dreams come true!

Jeff was more than helpful while planning the wedding reception! He is very skilled and makes the experience very positive, happy and fun! Completely enjoyed him the whole time! He arrived early for set up, along with the day of also. Set up beautiful lighting making our reception decor complete. Very professional announcing, with a great attitude. He was funny and went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Catered to our guests taste in music and request. We are so thankful that we were fortunate enough to hire Jeff Moore for our special day! I would definitely recommend him and will call on him for any future events.

Jeff will keep everyone on the dance floor all night long. No one wanted to exit the dance floor at all. Jeff created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. He took the time to know us and to personalize the entire evening to feel like us. He is truly the best! Don't wait and have him do your entire event!

Wonderful Des Moines DJ

My husband and I also have very eclectic music tastes and it was important to us that this was reflected in the music played during our reception. Jeff Moore made sure of this and so much more! Jeff was extremely easy to communicate with. He texted, emailed, or called me as needed. It was clear he adapted to my communication preferences, as it is generally easier for me to text and email during the day. He is also very knowledgeable and knows his way around a wedding. A week before the big day we met with Jeff in person and worked our a timeline for our reception. This helped keep everything running smoothly and made sure everyone was on the same page. I also sent Jeff a list of songs and artists that my husband and I like and Jeff was able to seamlessly incorporate these songs and some popular crowd pleasers into a mix that was perfect for us. If you are looking for a kind, talented, professional dj, Jeff Moore is your man!!

Absolutely Knows How to Entertain!

We hired Jeff to do our wedding, dinner music, and wedding dance. He was simply amazing! We wanted a to set the tone for all three portions of the day and he simply nailed it. Jeff took the time to listen to what we wanted and understands what to do and how to get there. We felt very strong about the music and he shared some great ideas. He was more expensive but I asked him when we hired him why and he was very articulate and was able sell his service better than anyone else we had talked to. He did not disappoint! He showed up at the event dressed like he was part of the event and the crowd absolutely loved him. He is exceptional at his craft and it was by far money well spent. I would highly recommend Jeff.

Awesome Wedding DJ!

Jeff was an amazing DJ!! The dance floor was packed the entire night which is exactly what we hoped for! Jeff did a great job reading the crowd while making song selections. He accommodated all of our requested songs in addition to taking requests from our guests. He also did an incredible job with introductions and announcements. Jeff was extremely easy to work with. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Jeff went above and beyond for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier we chose him to be our DJ. He was a perfect fit for our wedding. He really understood our vibe and worked with it. Amazing Experience

We hired Jeff for our wedding and we were blown away. Jeff was professional and flexible throughout our entire process and met each and every expectation we had. We did not have to worry about a single thing during our reception, he was energetic and had everybody out on the dance floor. One thing we knew going into our wedding was that we going to get the best DJ we could and Jeff did not disappoint. My piece of advice is do not go cheap on your entertainment, we didn't and Jeff was worth every penny.

Fabulous Variety and Fun!!

Jeff was the DJ for our daughter's wedding this past Saturday night. His communication prior to the wedding was outstanding. He had a packed dance floor for over five hours! The bride and groom and all our guests were thrilled with him as a DJ! Highly recommend!!

Personable, Creative, and great music!

Jeff has worked several weddings that I have attended as a guest and also for me as a wedding planner. He has so many suggestions to make your wedding night the best that it can be! More importantly, he knows how to keep your guests happy and entertained. He is very good at the traditional dances, toasts and songs, but also open to breaking away from tradition. His main goal is to make the customer happy.

Jeff is Awesome!

We are so grateful that Jeff was the DJ at our wedding. We had two separate venues and he really helped run the day from start to finish, relieving some stress from the rest of us.

Jeff was easy to communicate with, upbeat, professional, and there every step of the way. He made sure he knew every detail of our day and the timeline so nothing was overlooked. We had a band as well and he helped make that collaboration seamless.

We cannot say enough good things about Jeff. He is a heck of a nice guy and a fantastic DJ/Entertainer.

Jeff did such a great job with our wedding, from our initial consultation through the end of the event! He walked us through everything, and made us think of things and helped us with things that I wouldn't imagine a DJ would care about. He took charge of contacting our other vendors to ensure he knew everything that he needed to know, so we wouldn't have any surprises or incoordination the day of our event. Even though we had a violinist providing our ceremony music, Jeff still ensured our officiant and readers were mic'd and everything was at the appropriate volume. All of our guests were extremely happy with his music choices as well. Jeff will work with you to ensure you have the wedding you want, so you'll be very happy if you choose him to DJ your wedding!

Jeff was awesome! We had a very large wedding and utilized Jeff to run the show. He made sure we were where we needed to be for cake cuttings, and other things throughout the night. All while still keeping our guests entertained and the entire event moving forward. The music was awesome and sounded great, he played a large variety of music and even catered the to few weird one off requests we had. He was happy to help with anything we requested and was one of the best vendors we worked with. If your looking for a DJ and Host to run your wedding this is the guy, he is organized and precise, we never had to second guess or question his ability to deliver the experience we wanted. Worth every dollar do it right and don’t be disappointed.

Jeff, yet again, knocked it out of the park! This is his 4th time DJ’ing the Make-A-Wish Gala for me and every year it gets better and better. Jeff was one of our favorite vendors to work with through our whole wedding planning process. He made himself available for the (many) questions we had and tailored his services to our unique interests. He was able to cut songs and come up with special ideas that made our reception an absolute blast! On the morning of our wedding, we had to move the ceremony indoors in an unfamiliar location. Jeff quickly coordinated with other staff and set up the sound system to allow for a flawless Plan B. The dance floor was packed all night! You will not be disappointed and your guests will be talking about your reception for months after if you choose Jeff Moore as your DJ!

Jeff was a great entertainer for our guests but also attentive to us on our day as well. If there was anything we needed we could count on him. He was able to shape and maintain a comfortable environment during the dinner hour and engaged the guests throughout the evening.

For us, not skimping on the entertainment budget was totally worth it. So in short, Jeff is a professional and quality DJ.

Jeff was very responsive to our ideas but also had a lot of fun creative ideas too to help create a very fun reception. I was leary at first because he wasn't the cheapest dj in town but found the extra money was well worth it! He was very dependable and very good at reading the crowd to know what songs would create dancing by all. I highly recommend spending the extra money to book Jeff as your dj. You will not be dissappointed!

Jeff was fantastic! He met with us several times prior to our wedding to make sure he had all of our details and music selections. The day of our wedding he made sure everything ran smooth. We used Moore Entertainment for our wedding. He suggested some fun ideas for our wedding that were interactive with the crowd, because lets be serious, the first hour of the reception can be boring! Jeff was so patient with my mother and I. ;) If he made it through us, he can make it through anyone! I would highly recommend Moore Entertainment to any one.

Jeff was absolutely fabulous to work with from start to finish. He made a special effort to meet with us in person ahead of our wedding, and we really felt he wanted to get to know us to understand what kind of vibe we were looking for. He not only paid special attention to the musical experience, but wanted to help create the perfect party all night long. One super fun suggestion he had to get the crowd involved was the "kissing bowl" where couples had to kiss and we had to recreate their kiss. It was really hilarious and made dinner an extra special and fun experience. I had lots of special requests and he worked them all in beautifully and seamlessly throughout the night. He played a fantastic selection of music that really matched the mood for the whole night. A skillful DJ is not only playing music, but curating and pacing your whole party- Jeff is definitely that person! He is always incredibly prompt at responding to text and email. He is a fantastic professional to work with and I would highly suggest him to any couple!

Our crowd was more low key and he did a great job adapting to their energy. He kept everything moving so we didn't have to worry about timing at all. Jeff was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend him to everyone. I've already had one of my guests ask for his info because they thought he did a great job. I especially liked that he wasn't pushy about add ons. He understood we had a budget and didn't try to get us to spend more.

Jeff rocks! I first met him 2.5 years ago when the DJ I had booked for the Make-A-Wish Gala backed out 3 weeks before the big event. A friend recommended Jeff and he stepped right in and volunteered his services to help us raise money for wish kids and he's done so for the past 2 years. I knew I HAD to have him for my wedding too. He didn't disappoint. He had great ideas that mixed well with my untraditional ideas for our reception and the entire night was a huge hit. The music was great; we and our guests danced our tails off all night. Highly recommend him! Personable, enthusiastic, generous, and innovative are the best words to describe him. While he wasn't the lowest price DJ, I knew I would get more bang for my buck having him. Lowest price doesn't always get you great value. Definitely worth it! Thanks Jeff!

Jeff did a GREAT job as our wedding dj. He made time out of his day to help us put together our reception including mixing our own custom dance which turned out great! From the music at the ceremony to our entrance songs and even our firt dances we were very pleased with everything at our event. Everyone had a great time at our wedding and we loved having Jeff as our DJ. I would 2000% recommend anyone to hire Jeff for your event. We even got a video of my 80 year old Grandpa dancing at our wedding which was awesome :-) :-) :-)

The dance floor was shoulder-to-shoulder all night! He played an excellent mix of music for the crowd for all ages to enjoy. We got a ton of compliments from guests about how awesome our DJ was. He executed our order of events perfectly with what we wanted and even hosted our impromptu "game-show" with our wedding party. Jeff has a great talent for this job and if you want to guarantee a great night, you should go with Jeff!

I have been to weddings with good DJs, but Jeff is simply better. It's easy for a DJ to show up with a ton of sound, lighting, and extra equipment to help make your wedding special, but Jeff brings in the skills to manage the party and its energy. He was extremely organized and knew exactly what we wanted from the beginning of the happy hour outside of our reception room to the very last second of the dancing where he had everyone up and dancing. He pronounced every name correctly, he ran the reception on schedule, and his charismatic character helped with his announcements and transitions. I think Jeff's most valuable attribute was his ability to read the dance floor and make sure he played every song we requested without disrupting the energy. We love dancing and Jeff told us, "If the bride and groom dance, others will follow." Jeff was right! We danced the night away to fantastic music that seemed to change to the perfect song every time. He had the dance floor filled until the last song where everyone formed a circle around the bride and groom and dance and sang. This is a business where you get what you pay for, buthe Jeff is justly priced for the amazing service he provides. I will be recommending him to everyone I know

If you are looking for an organized,outstanding and professional DJ then you have to use Jeff. He was amazing from the very first message I sent him. He was quick to respond every time and answered all my questions appropriately. He was very personable and even offered tips and ideas that we used the day of! I also had a vocalist I'll n my wedding and he let UA come to his house to practice with all his equipment. Then on the day of the wedding, he helped run everything so smoothly and even dismissed tables for eating. I literally cannot say enough good things about him and how much he made our day perfect!

I had the pleasure in working with Jeff and I would recommend Jeff to anyone. He was professional, outgoing, easy to talk to, had great communication. We met and set up every little detail to our wedding reception and if I was stuck on what to do he had awesome ideas. DJ's play a huge roll in a wedding reception and he defiantly knew how to get the party started and how to keep it going. He played just the perfect mixture of songs. He also ended our wedding on a high note and had everyone on the dance floor. He even got an encore because people didn't want him to stop playing. Little did we know he also spend a lot of time with a couple girls who prepared a song to sing as their speech. They rocked it and a lot of if was because he spent many hours practicing with them in his garage. We had no idea this was happening either. He went above and beyond. Jeff has such high energy it gets everyone going. I told Jeff if anyone wants to know more details about our AWESOME experience with him that they can call me. Thank you Jeff for everything you helped to make our night perfect!

We had the pleasure of working with Jeff Moore for our recent wedding, and can’t say enough amazing things! From the first phone call we placed with Jeff, he made us feel confident and secure that he was the correct man for the DJ job. Jeff always made himself available for questions or certain requests we may have had, and on our wedding day there was never an empty dance floor. Jeff played the certain songs we had requested, but also knew exactly what to play to keep the energy alive well into the night. Jeff is very experienced and professional! He was extremely helpful in walking us through the ceremony and reception plan. He made suggestions regarding things to prepare for and of fun things to include in the evening that we never would have thought of on our own. He came to our home to discuss the initial itinerary/plan which was very convenient for us, especially with all of the other things we were trying to finalize before the wedding day.

We had him come to our rehearsal the night before the wedding which was so helpful as he was able to coordinate with our friend who was performing our ceremony. Our friend got ordained specifically for our wedding and this was his first ceremony so I know he was grateful to be able to plan with Jeff during the rehearsal and make sure they were both on the same page.

We had a lot of special requests for Jeff in terms of songs to play, and changes to the traditional wedding reception events (such as the timing of the wedding party entry song, and the father/daughter dance consisting of 2 songs and including the brides father, stepfather, and both grandfathers) and Jeff rolled with all of our requests flawlessly. This meant so much to us because it would be easy for someone to tell us no, but Jeff didn't, he helped make sure the wedding we had pictured in our heads is what actually happened that night. We couldn't have asked for more!

We also included a song request form with our invitations so that all of our guests could return their RSVP with a special song request. I compiled a list of guest requests for Jeff and he hit them all! This allowed all of our guests to hear at least one song that night that they really loved and it helped everyone feel involved and have a good time.

A lively dance floor is a big part of pulling off a fun reception and Jeff definitely nailed it! I would recommend Jeff Moore to anyone looking for a DJ who will focus on the little things that make your event perfect.

I can not say enough good things about Jeff and his services!! He's great to work with and knows how to get everyone up and dancing!! We have had so many people comment on the DJ and say how awesome he was!! I would highly recommend Jeff!!

Absolutely amazing!!!

Jeff was the DJ at our wedding in September and he was just awesome. So organized and professional. Very personable, and just made our special day happen. He made sure everything about our day was exactly how we wanted it. He even carried my plate to my table for me at the reception. Nothing but good things to say about Jeff and his talent. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great Experience

I really appreciated Jeff being our DJ at our wedding. You can tell he's been doing this for a while - he's got the right mix of songs to keep everyone dancing and slow songs. He was excellent at getting in all the requested songs we wanted and keeping the songs we didn't want off the list! There were tons of people out on the dance floor (including myself!) all night long.

Willing to go the Extra Mile!

From the first time I reached out to Jeff I realized his dedication to understanding his clients and providing a quality experience. Our event was a first-time conference put on by Event Management students at Iowa State. Jeff was very responsive and visited our venue twice before the event to really understand the space and what our needs were from him as the entertainer and emcee. He was very accommodating to our needs and flexible the day of the event. He knows how to keep the party going!
