Wonderful experience!

DJ Scott & Company hit it out of the park! They were incredible! First, I just want to give a huge shout out to them for being so kind and accommodating towards us as we had to postpone our wedding due to covid. For our wedding, we had DJ Mike and Nick, and they were amazing! Our ceremony music was perfect, and the transitions were spot on. DJ Mike found the music we requested for the ceremony with no problem and delivered! The music they selected for the cocktail hour and during dinner were perfect for the mood. The lights that they had set up for the reception were perfect and not overwhelming at all. When it came to getting everyone pumped up and out on the dance floor, they made it happen! I don’t think our dance floor was ever empty at any point in time. They were both so engaging and our guests are still raving about them! If you are looking for a DJ for your South Carolina wedding, we cannot recommend them enough!

I don’t know where to begin! Scott did an awesome job DJing our wedding! He really took the time to get to know us as the bride and groom personally and the style of music that we were looking for! During the reception he got a feel for the crowd and what type of songs that would vibe with the crowd. He made sure that I (we) stressed about nothing! He always has a great strategy to help him pronounce unique name (like mine!) so that was awesome! When you book with DJ Scott and company you will NOT be disappointed!

Awesome time!

DJ Scott was awesome for our October wedding! He played the BEST songs and kept everyone involved and having fun. I especially appreciated that he ran over all names with our wedding party to make sure he really had pronunciations correct and he read our crowd perfectly. It couldn't have been a better day! Thanks DJ Scott!

Amazing and Fun DJ!

Dj Scott and Company were so awesome to work with! From his planning sheets and request lists right online to the actual day. Scott was so personable and truly understood what my husband and I were looking for in a wedding DJ! He made sure everyone from young to old were up and dancing throughout the night. Also, his speakers were positioned just right where it was loud enough on the dance floor, but people were still able to talk while sitting at their tables. Scott and his staff were wonderful!!

Peace of Mind with a Professional Touch

DJ Scott and Company is the most professional and fun entertainment resource on the Grand Strand! We had our wedding in Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC and Scott killed the party!! We had an amazingly flexible time from the scheduling to the dance floor! 10/10 would recommend.

Best wedding DJ!

DJ Scott and Company were the absolute best!! From the time we requested a quote and booked to the day of the wedding,
DJ Scott was so attentive and informative-which is exactly what you want when planning a destination wedding! With only having a guest list of 45 people I was worried about keeping the dance floor going all night but that was not an issue at all with DJ Scott! He knew all the right music to play to keep everyone dancing. We hired them for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and they did amazing with all 3! Our wedding guests are still talking about how good the music was! We couldn’t have asked for better DJ!! Highly recommended!

A damn good time

DJ Scott and company played all the epic music we requested and a lot of special request. We heard him DJ 4 years ago at a friends wedding and he got everyone on the dance floor. So obviously we hired him for our wedding. He did not disappoint. Great guy! Fun to work with

Professional and Fun!!

Dj Scott provided wonderful music and entertainment at our wedding in myrtle. He was very responsive and offered great reccomendations and advice when we were planning the ceremony. His website was very intuitive and allowed us to easily build our song list for the night. He even worked his way out onto the dance floor to help get some of the line dances started. We had family and friends who could not stop complementing what a great job Dj Scott had done both during and after the ceremony. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to get married in/near Myrtle Beach.

Excellent Vendor Choice!

We hired DJ Scott for our Dunes Club wedding in Myrtle Beach, SC. The process from start to finish was excellent! Scott was so great, easy to work with and made our wedding day wonderful and easy!! He took the time before, during, and after our wedding to ensure my husband and I had everything we wanted and our guests had the greatest time! We absolutely loved working with him!

AMAZING all around!

Hiring DJ Scott was such a great decision when planning our wedding! My event planner, Santana, highly recommended Scott and his company. When my husband and I first met with Scott, I knew he was going to be our DJ.
Scott was amazing to work with, very easy going and flexible. We could call or text him any time we had any questions or concerns.
We had a special part of the wedding that Scott had never done before but he rolled with it and it turned out amazing. He kept all of our guests entertained and dancing all night long.
We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is getting married and needs a talented DJ.

Perfect Wedding DJ

The process for getting the songs that we wanted was on an incredibly easy platform to use from home that allowed us to take our time and make adjustments as we came closer to our wedding day. They helped pick some of the music for us during events such as cocktail hour that flowed with our wedding and the rest of the music during the wedding. The DJ took time to to personally call us to make sure that he knew exactly what we wanted, not just for the music but also for the events that took place during the wedding. Thank you for being a huge part of our big day.

Our Wedding Day 11.03.18 !!!!

I can honestly say that our wedding day would not have been the same without DJ Scott and Company! DJ Scott was amazing, from the pre wedding process of music selection and timeline, which was made so easy and completely customizable, to the incredible lighting he provided to make an already beautiful space completely unforgettable, and how he kept our guests on their feet through the night. He was so laid back but responsive and so helpful offering different ideas and advice. We honestly felt like we had known him forever! He not only listened to what we wanted, but he heard it, and delivered nothing less than perfection! Our big day would not have been the same without him. You are crazy if you don't have DJ Scott and Company at your next event!

Scott's performance at our wedding was awesome! Super straight forward and super professional. He was always attentive to our needs and made sure that our day was everything we hoped for. He is super easy to get in contact with and was the most reasonably priced DJ provider in our area. He offers awesome amenities but even the simplest options turned out to be amazing!!

DJ Scott and company was probably the best part of our wedding-now writing reviews and reflecting-the DJ part of the wedding was the easiest, most on point part of the wedding. They do exactly what you ask for, we had a globo light design with our initials-we also got so many compliments on the DJ afterward! Planning a wedding from Philadelphia was difficult, but DJ Scott and his awesome team made it easy!

DJ Scott was AMAZING! He made the planning process so easy and had great suggestions on song choices for us. He had the dance floor packed all night! Today marks one month since we said "I do" and danced the night away and everyone is STILL talking about how awesome DJ Scott was! DJ Scott and Chris were awesome and a joy to work with! He has done so many events for me in the past (mostly weddings) bringing him in to do our special day was a blessing as I have
seen his work and has brought lots of joy and fun to any event. I highly recommend Dj Scott and Chris to do any event as they'll make sure to be promt, mindful, and worry free. As an Event Sales Manager at Pawleys Island Plantation Golf and Country I was very greatful to have him be apart of our Wedding day. DJ Scott and Chris both mingled with our friends and family through out the evening and everyone loved them!

Do yourself a favor and choose only the very best the beach has...DJ Scott! Personable, courteous, caring of what the family and the bride needs when planning a wedding especially if something goes wrong and DJ Scott needs to make everything right with his music. DJ Scott provided the music for our wedding a few weeks ago at the Grande Dunes. He was incredibly helpful during the entire process. His website is user friendly and allowed us to pre-select a wide range of songs which DJ Scott blended seamlessly at the wedding reception. His choice of music kept the party going the entire night. We received multiple comments from guests that he was the best DJ they had ever heard. He was also able to accommodate non-standard requests which we made. He edited a live version of a song to be played for the first dance. He also cleaned up a number of older pictures which we had sent him for our slideshow so that they would look less pixelated at the reception. This is indicative of how DJ Scott repeatedly went above and beyond to make sure that the wedding went off without a hitch. We would enthusiastically recommend DJ Scott to anyone looking to get married in the Myrtle Beach area.

DJ Scott and Company are awesome! I would highly recommend them to anyone having an event or wedding. Scott was extremely professional but also personable at the same time which refreshing. I am so glad I chose DJ Scott and Company. I was struggling to find an affordable wedding DJ when I stumbled across their webpage. DJ Connor was so great and helped keep the pace of the reception going into the night. He was very easy to work with and was kind enough to call before the big day to go over the timeline for the day. The planning sheets online made the process very easy to plan a timeline and create a music playlist. I would highly recommend DJ Scott and Company to any Myrtle Beach brides. You will not be disappointed.

Dj Scott had dj my brother and sister in law wedding in 2014. He had done awesome job with the music. No one had left the dance floor. So when I got engaged last year and I booked him right away. I met with him to go over my playlist and through in some ideas. He was easy to work with. We enjoyed having Scott as our dj. Thank you and great job with making our wedding memorable moment.

My husband and I got married the Tuesday after the horrible Hurricane Matthew hit our area, destroying the barn we were to be married in and making it have no power. DJ Scott and Company made sure they worked with some good friends of mine to make sure if the barn didn't have power they had what they needed to have music!! DJ Scott and Company are wonderful, easy to talk to, and very professional. Communication throughout the planning process was on point the whole way. This was one vendor I had no stress with because of their strong history and knowledge.

It hasn't even been a week since the best day ever but I have to extend a huge shout out to DJ Scott for making our wedding day amazing from start to end.

From our first phone call together, I immediately knew Scott was going to be the right DJ for us. Planning a destination wedding can be difficult at times, but with many phone calls and emails, Scott made everything run so smoothly. He was always so quick to respond and although there was plenty of humor along the way, he carried himself in such a positive and professional manner. His website made it so easy to work through our timeline and include our 'must play' list along with popular songs we wouldn't have thought of thanks to his request lists.

Not only was Scott open to all of my suggestions, he brought my vision to life and helped to create extra special touches such as my surprise slideshow and travel themed prize drawing for my guests. I wanted to include both a modern song and a traditional song in our first dance and Scott put together a 1st dance mash up and emailed it to us prior to the wedding so we could have enough time to practice. We've received so many compliments from our family and friends about how great the energy was and how they couldn't get off the dance floor..even when my dad requested "Love Shack" twice in a row ;)

Scott nailed everything, and his professional lighting made the already beautiful venue look incredible! You cannot go wrong with Scott and his team and I will continue to recommend him to everyone.

We selected DJ Scott and Company for our outdoor wedding in Myrtle Beach based on the previous stellar reviews, and the service did not disappoint. Only consider DJ Scott and Company if you want your guest to have a blast all night! Everything throughout the night went just as we had discussed and having an MC to direct the entire evening was amazing. This company did amazing for our wedding! We had an outside beach wedding on August 1st of this year and we hired DJ Scott and company to play a few songs for our wedding and our first dance song on the beach. Conner that works with the company called us and emailed us ahead of time making sure they had all the information needed for the wedding. DJ Scott and company is incredibly professional, friendly, and will shape their services to your event. Not only will they provide music, lights, etc. but they are very responsive at the event as far as playing requests, games, etc. We provided them with a long list of songs and they delivered as well as throwing in additional songs by request. DJ Scott and DJ Connor were the DJs for my June 26th, 2016 wedding at Pawleys Plantation, and they were fantastic! They kept all of the events going smoothly and perfectly on time. I had a fairly small wedding (about 70 guests), so one of my worries was if it would be a fun atmosphere or not. It didn't take much time before DJ Scott and Connor had everyone up and dancing and having a great time. They truly were a joy to work with, and I highly recommend them!

DJ Scott and his team are a no-brainer if you want a DJ for your event. DJ Mike, one of Scott's colleagues, handled our wedding a couple of weeks ago and he. was. awesome. The music, the sound, the lighting, his announcing skills, his composure with guests that wanted different songs...he could not have done better. I am obsessed with music and I wanted my wedding to have a solid two hours of songs that kept our guests on the dance floor the whole time - and that's exactly what Mike delivered. Plus the planning forms were INCREDIBLE. It was so nice to get so much control over the song selection and ordering, and they asked us about things that I never would have thought of. My highest recommendation for this company and I hope to use them again in the future.

DJ Scott and Company were great! We were able to book them within two weeks before our wedding after we had a conflict with our previous DJ. DJ Scott handled the communication and contracts and was so quick and helpful. DJ Rob was able to coordinate all of our music needs just days before the ceremony. I don't know where to even begin! DJ Rob and DJ Scott were amazing to work with! Pre-wedding Scott made sure that we stayed on track and answered any questions that we had. The organization that comes along with working with DJ Scott and Company is amazing- there is no way that you can become unorganized when it comes to your music! Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception music was perfect and help make the night everything it was! During the reception DJ Rob invited all of the kids to the dance floor for a scavenger hunt (we didn't have that planned- can't say enough about how great it was to involve the kids that way. Got told that it was the best thing- no one has ever seen that at a wedding before). All of the parents were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy dinner and relax while the kids played. They were amazing with the music choices and the timeline! I highly recommend them to everyone! If you use someone else- you will be missing out on an amazing DJ experience and you will be adding most stress to you day! DJ Scott was great, he got everyone dancing very early on and kept us on schedule without it ever seeming like he was controlling that. He even got a dance party going where we got some of our greatest dance pictures. DJ Scott was sooo much fun! We hired him for our reception of about 49 people. A lot of the people attending were older and he accommodated to every age there. We got reviews and compliments from everyone saying that this was the best wedding dj they've heard in a long time, that they've never had so much fun at a wedding. My wife and I are from Washington, D.C., and we got married in the Pawley’s Island, SC area this past August. We both come from families who love to dance, and from the start, we wanted a DJ to play very “dance-able” songs and someone to keep the party going all night. From the moment we met Scott, we were blown away by his professionalism and his ability to listen to what we wanted (trust me, a very underrated quality)! He made the entire experience leading up to the wedding so smooth and stress-free, and gave us the confidence that he would make the night perfect.

Then came the reception… What a party. I have never attended a wedding where the dancing started BEFORE salads were served. Scott saw that the guests could not wait to dance and celebrate, he read the room perfectly, turned on “Shout” and the party never stopped from there! I could not believe how many people came up to us during the reception to tell us that our DJ is “incredible” and has played “hit after hit after hit.” We wanted up-beat and dance-able songs, and that is what he delivered ALL NIGHT. I even had one guest tell me, “Your DJ is on a roll right now!”

We had a majority of our guests stay until the last song, and they left the venue singing and dancing. We could not have asked for any more. I could keep raving about him, but to keep this short (ish), I HIGHLY recommend DJ Scott and I would choose him to be our DJ 100 out of 100 times.

I cannot say enough great things about DJ Scott. I was planning the wedding not living there and he was always easily reachable via email or phone. I honestly did not realize how much the DJ does during the day of the wedding. He really emcee'd the entire thing which I hadn't thought of and we were in great hands. He was organized and made sure to remind people to sign our guest book throughout the night.

I gave him a few music selections I wanted and he got them all! There was even a certain song I wanted to dance to after I changed into a more dance friendly dress. As soon as I changed, he played 'my' song right away.

In addition to the music he did great lighting at the reception also. He found a blue color to match my wedding colors. It really added and made a fun feel to the reception.

He was also very flexible in helping get a projector for me for a last minute slide show. He really was beyond helpful.

I cannot recommend DJ Scott enough. He was so easy to work with and excelled at everything! He really helped make the night so much fun!

DJ Scott was awesome at our wedding. Everything from the lighting to music selection was great. People are still talking about how great our DJ was. No one day down the whole night. He even threw in some NY and Philly music that made the night more memorable.

DJ Scott was great to work with and was super responsive as I was planning remotely. He made me feel 100% confident and he delivered everything as promised. He did a wonderful job of making sure our reception agenda went as planned and he got our guests on the dance floor!

I know that most people don't take the time to write a review unless they are unhappy with a service. I am usually one of those people, but DJ Scott was such a pleasure to work with that I've made an exception! Planning a wedding is stressful and expensive and along the way I had SEVERAL bad experiences with vendors, but Scott was upbeat, attentive and eager to tailor his services to our specific requests. He really knows what he's doing and sets your mind at ease. There are so many little things to worry about during the planning process, trust DJ Scott to handle your music, uplighting and slideshow needs. You won't be disappointed!!

Dj Scott was soooooo awesome!!! He really made my wedding so much fun. He was on point with everything I had requested. He was always available prior to the wedding when ever I had questions, he made sure that my husband and I were comfortable numerous times during the wedding and he kept my guests on their feet (with the exception a few who had a hard time staying on their feet :). Scott had a beautiful set up that looked great in my venue and Scoot also looked very professional. I could not have asked for a better DJ. He really made my wedding a huge success and we danced our butts off!!! Thank you Scott!!!!

Scott was amazing, how he does all that he does by himself I do not know but we were incredibly lucky to find him. We planned our wedding from a distance and he was so helpful and kind throughout the months of planning. He is incredibly organized and knows just when and what to do, whereas I was completely clueless. He was so much fun showing everyone how to do particular dances, especially the little kids. He does excellent set-ups for beach weddings which is a hard thing to find believe me! We would love for him to do it all over again and again! haha or any event of ours for that matter. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend DJ Scott! He was amazing to work with. EVERYONE was dancing and having a great time. So easy to get a hold of, great list of songs he provides to get you started, and just overall a wonderful person. Our guests are still talking about him!

Scott was an amazing DJ and I would recommend him to anyone. He did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor. Everyone told me how much they loved my DJ. I had a destination wedding so I wasn't 100% sure how everything would turn out, including the DJ. But it was perfect! Scott had never been to my reception site before but everything was a breeze. He was there early with everything set up and ready to go before anyone got there. He even had lights set up that I hadn't asked for and they looked perfect with our reception site. He was extremely professional and kept checking to see if we needed anything all night. If you're looking for a DJ, I wouldn't look anywhere else!

I would highly recommend DJ Scott and company! He made sure he not only pleased us but our guests as well! All day he checked in to see if we were happy with the music. Our guests said he did a great job and he really got everyone involved. He is a wonderful people/crowd reader which is a very important quality to have. He put our needs first. I've been to weddings before where even the bride and groom complained about their own music. Not the case with Scott! He did a fabulous job and It was a great day!

Scott was very organized and helpful in the wedding planning process for the music! He provided music for my ceremony, my cocktail hour, and my reception. I filled out paperwork in advance so I didn't have to worry about anything the day of. He ran everything so smoothly for me, helped to get everyone on the dance floor and provided perfect music for our wedding-- exactly what we were looking for! He did an amazing job!

Getting married is already stressful enough with all the planning that goes into it. So when it came to picking out a DJ we were unsure about alot of the DJs in the area. DJ Scott called us after we inquired about his services and put us to ease with whatever worries we had. He is a very professional person whos only concern is making sure your wedding is everything you hope it will be and more. He is very good at communicating with the crown of which events are about to take place and he does a good job of adding excitement to the moments that require it. He asked us what music we liked and didn't like. He allowed us to completely customize our music selection from the very first song till the very last. I would recommend DJ Scott to anyone getting married or anyone who just needs a very good DJ for their event.

DJ Scott did a terrific job engaging our guests and making the wedding a wonderful party. His enthusiasm and energy were contagious and he deftly managed to get everyone on the dance floor from the 4 year-old ring bearer to my 80 year-old great aunt. Throughout the planning process, DJ Scott was very responsive and was very helpful in guiding us through the process. We highly recommend using DJ Scott.

WITHOUT A DOUBT, Scott is the BEST Wedding DJ, hands down. I'm not saying because it was my own, but he was incredible. We first met to discuss the theme and tone of the wedding. He was so understanding and took ALL of our concerns and requests to heart. Since we live in Richmond but we got married down in Pawleys Island, email communication was a must. He was prompt, attentive and even offered to help make calls for us to get a florist and limo service lined up. The up-lighting was amazing and truly transformed a bare beach club into a club. He and his wife were the sweetest, most down-to--Earth people and he had all our guests dancing all night.

Working with Scott was the EASIEST thing we had to do in planning our destintation wedding. He knows this business, has a massive collection of music and is a complete professional. I would get married all over again JUST to use Scott.
