  Sawyer was the BEST wedding DJ!!

  Sawyer was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! He was extremely accommodating with every request; we had two officiants and a family member sing, he even brought his son’s amp for us to plug into our keyboard! We wanted to incorporate a few family-tradition songs and he easily transitioned in and out of them seamlessly. He did a great job during the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception with speeches, and of course the rest of the evening where the dancefloor was constantly packed. We kept getting compliments about how great DJ Sawyer was and would highly recommend! He said from the beginning that he goes in preparing as if this was his sister’s wedding and we absolutely felt the hard work and effort he put in.

  The best DJ choice

  Sawyer was the absolute best! We did not leave the dance floor once the entire night, and my favorite memories from the wedding are dancing with my husband and guests. His music changes flowed perfectly and there was a good variety of music to keep everyone going all night. I would highly recommend for any event!

  Best Wedding DJ Ever!

  DJ Sawyer was phenomenal. He ensured our wedding flowed effortlessly and was organized, professional, and lovely. He nailed the background music for happy hour and crushed our playlist for the wedding reception. He effortlessly wove our two musical tastes together. There were never technical issues and our venue was in the middle of nowhere with no wifi... we have no idea how he did it! 10/10 would recommend. On top of it all, he's a genuine and hilarious person who was so easy to communicate with and a pleasure to be around.

  DJ Sawyer above and beyond expectations!

  As father of the bride at Jen and Spencer's August 2023 wedding at Edgewood Tahoe, could not have asked for a better DJ and reception facilitator. From the beginning he worked with us on a detailed plan of sequence of events and music selections. He went above and beyond making sure that the timeline of events was perfectly followed and at all times fun. He even went as far as helping the resort staff fill champagne glasses for the celebration toast! In one word he was awesome and I truly believe he would be a great choice to DJ any wedding.

  DJ Sawyer was an absolutely amazing DJ at our wedding. My husband and I were so appreciative on how he made everything go so smoothly, really listened to what we wanted, and he was the first one to even come up to us and offer us a drink or ask us if we needed anything right after the ceremony which was such a nice surprise and much appreciated. 10/10 would recommend him for any wedding!

  AMAZING experience with Sawyer!!

  My husband and I are so happy we hired Sawyer as our DJ! Music is very important to us both, and we wanted someone who could help keep the vibes up high all night and read the the room when needed. We interviewed many DJs and are so happy we decided to go with Sawyer. Not only was Sawyer incredibly professional throughout our wedding planning process, he was also incredibly kind and provided great insight with timelines! So many guests came up to us and told us how fun the dancing! Sawyer brought in lights on the dance floor and it was a really fun atmosphere. We had guests on the dance floor at all times during our reception! Sawyer also helped us navigate the Hora - a traditional Jewish dance - which our guests loved! At the end of the night, Sawyer felt like another guest at our wedding, rather than a hired vendor! We love Sawyer! Hire him if you want the best dance floor!

When we spoke with him on the phone his fun, energetic personality makes you feel comfortable and in good hands. He provides an easy to navigate website and song suggestions to help keep you organized. On the day of our wedding, his experience shined through! We didn't have to think about a thing as he had it all taken care of.   We chose DJ Sawyer to DJ our wedding this past summer in Tahoe and we couldn't be more happy with how he orchestrated the celebration. He was super professional and smooth with his craft. His experience showed as he was able to read the crowd and set the right vibe all day & night. He was very helpful throughout the process leading up to the wedding as well. Would highly recommend.

  Our Perfect Night

  Sawyer did an amazing job. He was super flexible through out the night of our wedding, when our schedule had some changes he was quick to make adjustments. He also did a great job helping keep track of the night for us so we didn't miss anything. While setting up the floor plan and schedule for the evening he gave us insightful advice on the venue that gave the night an amazing flow. He did an amazing job creating an atmosphere with the music we chose and kept the party going till the end of the night.

  Sawyer was hands down the best DJ we have ever experienced. He was extremely communicative from the start, made us feel comfortable and organized, and was overall the most fun part of our wedding! All of my guests are still talking about how fun our dance party was at the reception. I will forever recommend Moonlight Mobile DJ!

  Best Wedding DJ in the Sierras!

  DJ Sawyer is a true professional when it comes to events! We booked him for our summer wedding in Tahoe and he was nothing short of excellent from the beginning of planning our day until the music stopped at the end of the evening. He was timely, engaging, and fun to work with throughout the process. He even had incredible suggestions on our day-of timeline and what would be the best for the energy of ourselves and our guests throughout the day. He is a TRUE DJ and created a custom mix of the song I walked down the aisle to-which made it even more meaningful to us! Our guests couldn't stop singing his praises afterwards. We can't recommend him enough to get your party going and keep it LIT

  Best Ever! I first used MMDJ in 2015 for first daughters wedding then again in 2016 for my second and then was incredible happy he was available again in 2022 for my last daughters wedding. He is extremely organized, efficient and coordinates very well with whoever is running the wedding. I honestly believe he is what made all three of those weddings so much fun and memorable!   Sawyer was a diamond in the rough. My original DJ cancelled on me two months, or so before my wedding (for Health reasons). I did not panic but I also didn't just want to book anyone last minute. I did my research and scheduled a few phone and video meetings with prospects. I knew with talking with Sawyer on our first consult phone call that he was the one. His energy was exceptional and he understood what types of music I was looking for. He was easy to get ahold of throughout the process if I had a question. On the day of my wedding, I was excited to meet all my vendors in person. Mr. Sawyer attended looking very professional and he was so kind from the get. He definitely assisted in the flow of our timeline and was an attentive host. The songs were so right, and all of our guests were so pleased with him. I ended up allowing guests to requests songs because overall we all like the same genres. We had such a fun experience and such a fun night. We definitely took advantage of our dance floor.   Sawyer did an amazing job at our Wedding and we could not have been happier. He was great to work with and his attention to detail really stood out. Sawyer made the whole night run smoothly from the ceremony right until the last song. We would highly recommend!

  Having everyone on the dance floor all night was one of our top priorities and Sawyer delivered! We had different vibes for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and Sawyer nailed all three. From our short phone conversation he understood exactly what we were looking for and helped us pick out some key songs. I'm so glad we took his suggestions for changing the timeline our wedding planner had because they worked out so well. He really understands how to keep a crowd engaged. I honestly spent the entire night dancing and all of our guests had the most amazing time. We had so many friends compliment us on what an awesome DJ we had!

I honestly spent the entire night dancing and all of our guests had the most amazing time. We had so many friends compliment us on what an awesome DJ we had!

  DJ of the century!!

  Sawyer was incredible! Together, he and I (bride) hand selected music for our big day. He catered to all ages, races, and genders!! Super personable and attentive. The best part is, we didn’t have a wedding coordinator and he stepped into that role perfectly. Making sure everything ran smooth from ceremony to the last dance.

  The best day of our lives!

  We had a wonderful time dancing the night away at our best friend's wedding way back in 2017. Once it came time to start planning our own wedding in 2021, we knew we wanted to find the same DJ! Moonlight Mobile DJ (Sawyer) made our wedding day absolutely perfect! He played a wide variety of music genres to get every single attendee at our wedding out on the dance floor. From the youngest to oldest guest, everyone had a blast dancing to his set. Thank you Sawyer for making our wedding at Nakoma Resort absolutely incredible! -Caitlin and Brandon

  Sawyer is the best!

  Sawyer was the absolute best! Can't recommend him highly enough. He was in touch well in advance of the wedding helping us plan the small and big details, and was willing to go above and beyond to make our vision a reality. On the wedding day, he showed up early to get all of his equipment in place and to coordinate with the vocalist we had for the ceremony. When myself and the groom arrived at the venue, he was there for every step of the day to make us as comfortable as possible and to let us know what to expect. He was a true professional and knew exactly what we needed to do to make it a smooth day! At the same time, he brought the party and had the dance floor going the entire night. His awesome setup with lights for the dance floor was an added bonus, and he knew exactly what songs to play depending on the timing of the evening to keep the energy going. If you are considering Sawyer, look no further! He is the best of the best, and will make your day extra special.

  Sawyer was the DJ for my wedding reception and did an outstanding job from beginning to end. Not only did he cover multiple genres (Bollywood, EDM & more) for a diverse group, he masterfully navigated the crowd and created a fun, energetic atmosphere. Everyone had a good time. Never in our lives had we seen our families dance so much. It was really nice to see that. Sawyer was also willing to extend for 2 additional hours on the fly as my group did not want to stop which I really appreciate.
  
  Before I had never considered how important of a role the DJ plays in all of this. I had inquired with multiple DJs and Sawyer was the only one that actually took the time and effort to build a genuine connection with me while covering all the details until I was good.
