Ryan and the Griz team are the best! Ryan matched the dance floor's energy all night long to ensure it stayed full. He was quick in his set ups when moving from inside to outside, and he curated the vibes the entire night with great music, seamless transitions and amazing lights!
The app Griz uses prior to the wedding was SO helpful! It allows you to select all of your song preferences for the ceremony, cocktail party, dinner, special dances, dance floor and exit.
It also put my mind at ease knowing that Ryan had worked at my venue before and was familiar with their staff and the layout.
1000000000000/10 would recommend Griz! THANK YOU, RYAN! -

The Best DJ / Emcee / Entertainment in the Industry!
We absolutely LOVE Griz Entertainment! We don’t even want to call them a DJ service because I feel like they did so much more than what you’d hire a DJ to do. They are absolutely an entertainment company for your wedding day.
One thing I would say is to do whatever upgrades you can do! One of the best things that they did for us was get our wedding monogram with our initials. I designed a custom one, and then they literally made it into a light that they shined up on a giant rock wall in Moab. At night, the guests were absolutely freaking out, and said it was the coolest thing they had ever seen at a wedding 😂 People literally said, “Am I crazy, or are your initials on the mountain??!!!” “how did you do that? That is SICK!” the comments about our initials in the mountain were seriously so funny. At the very least, you’ve GOT to make sure to book that with them! Seeing our initials on the mountain under the Moab starry night sky was truly epic!
I would also highly recommend the Griz Mobile and the 360 video booth! First of all, the Griz mobile was such a cool vibe! Nobody else has a DJ in a revamped VW bus just absolutely lighting up the dance floor 😂 We had one main request for our AMAZING DJ / Emcee Matt, “Keep everyone dancing!” And believe me, he succeeded. It was our main goal to have the most lit dance floor in wedding history, and I’d say we absolutely did. We had SO much fun, he was awesome with sticking to our music selections and switching it up when needed. Not only that, but Matt brought such a good vibe! He was happy, fun, lively, and kept the mood up the entire night! Not only was he fantastic with the music, but he was SO great about emceeing all the special moments of the night! My fiancé teased me and said, “You gave more speaking parts and requests for him than any other bride probably ever has”. I’m sure he is not wrong haha, but Matt was perfect! I even had him announce special moments with some very specific comments during times like the moment I came out in my husband’s grandma’s wedding gown!
This is a long review, but I want you to know all the things 😂 If you can, I would also suggest the 360 video booth. It was AWESOME! Our guests had so much fun using this! They even have an amazing Photo Booth from the back of the Griz Mobile, and our guests had a lot of fun with that. It was really special looking out, seeing our guests enjoy themselves so much! A massive part of this was truly thanks to Griz Entertainment! The lights, the vibes, overall they are 100/10 ✨ I hope to have another big event someday so that I can book them again!!

I can't recommend Griz Entertainment enough. DJ Ryan was so amazing to work with and went above and beyond. His app was easy, he asked the right questions, and made everything go so smoothly. 10/10 recommend them for your wedding or any events. -

These guys are AMAZING! Nico was our wedding DJ and he did an incredible job! Kaci and Ryan did a great job communicating with us throughout the planning process and walked us through what to expect in the months prior to our wedding. They use a planning app which allows you to add your music preferences and plan on your own time, without having to meet in-person on a frequent basis. Nico was very accommodating to my busy schedule and is an amazing DJ! Nico and his lovely assistant are very detail-oriented and made the night stress-free. We got so many compliments about our DJ and ceremony music that night! -

We had an absolute blast at our wedding and a huge part of that was the DJ! We had DJ Matt and he made our wedding one huge party which is exactly what we wanted. We even ended up doing karaoke which was a huge hit!! In addition, he played every single song that we wanted for the selected songs (I.e. first dance, father daughter, etc). We also had a do not play list that he adhered to. There was a photo booth as well which was a hit. Definitely would recommend this vendor, especially Matt! -

Nico and his team were FANTASTIC! We had a blast working with Nico and planning the ceremony and reception playlist. He and his team were extremely flexible with ceremony delays and real troopers with unforeseen weather. Their expertise created lasting memories that will be tied to certain songs. The photo booth was a great addition for funny pictures throughout the night (thank you for the team picture!). Huge thank you to Nico and his team and I hope to work with them in the future! -

Griz Entertainment was so easy to work with for our wedding! Their communication as a whole is phenomenal and timely. Our DJ that night, Trey, was great. He was friendly, great as an emcee, and really knew how to cater to each guest's interests. I can't recommend them enough! -

I would like to start off this review by saying: If you are on the fence about using Griz Entertainment for your event, just do it! My now-wife and I just used them for our wedding and we could not have made a better choice for a DJ. First of all, we absolutely LOVED the app that is provided to plug in every song you want for every special moment, all the songs you’d want played during cocktail hour, dinner, and open dancing, and even a section to plug in genres and specific songs that you DON’T want played! The app also allowed us to plug in what times we wanted each thing to happen throughout the evening and was so easy to use! Next, I have to rave about our actual DJ. We had DJ Starr for the night, and she did absolutely amazing. We actually knew Starr outside of just our wedding, so we were so excited to find out that she was our DJ for the night! She guided the night along perfectly, worked with our wedding coordinator seamlessly, and made sure everyone had an amazing time. She did an awesome job at reading the crowd and even got in the crowd with us a few times which was SO MUCH FUN! The night turned out perfect and we would not change one single thing about it! Thank you guys so much for making our wedding one to remember and one that we will be talking about for literally the rest of our lives! -

From the very beginning Ryan was amazing to work with. We were one of the unfortunate couples that our wedding was affected by Covid, and we made the decision to carry on as planned with a smaller crowd, Ryan was SO helpful, and always so quick to respond to my panicked messages throughout the year! We got married at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, and I felt like he took care of every thing! From the up lights to the set up and break down, he made me feel at ease as a bride! You will be doing yourself the biggest favor when hiring this man for your wedding! He commands the room and makes the entire process easy and smooth! The app they use for collecting the music for your wedding is SO user friendly and makes the entire process so organized!! Thank you Ryan for the excellent service and having fun with us on our big day!! -

Kyle and I cannot say enough about DJ Griz and our Wedding. From the photo booth, to the sound for the ceremony, coordinating with our Band etc. We could not have had our wedding without Ryan. Ryan made sure things kept moving along which is one of my biggest pet peeves at a Wedding. He made sure things ran timely and kept the party going. I cannot recommend him enough! You will not be disappointed. -

DJ Ryan Griz Entertainment and their crew - Chad and Chase - did a phenomenal job at being DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception. They were responsive to questions leading up to the big day and for the day of Chad and Chase made things so easy as the timeline sped up in places and slowed in others. Chad also did a great job reading the crowd and playing crowd pleasing music getting us all up on the dance floor! If/when we have another event DJ Ryan Griz Entertainment will be our guys and specifically Chad and Chase!! Thank you guys!!! -

Ryan was great to work with, knowledgeable, skilled, and delivered a fantastic evening for us and our guests! Firstly, he provided music and mics for our outdoor ceremony and it went SEAMLESSLY. (We were nervous going in, having attended several weddings recently where mics had squealed, music tracks had cut off abruptly, etc.). We also loved that his app allowed us to input specific song requests for various points throughout the ceremony and reception ahead of time (including for the processional, first dance, etc.), but that he was also able to take the music preferences we shared with him over the phone and craft the perfect flow and dancefloor vibe for the evening. Overall Ryan was super easy to work with, talented, and no fuss - a bride and groom's dream vendor. Highly recommend! -

DJ Ryan Griz was awesome to work with! We employed him for lighting, photobooth, DJ music and acoustic guitarist (Tim Brown). We had one call in the planning process to streamline all major details and he took it from there! The whole evening was seamless and the planning process was a breeze. Definitely recommend. -

Professional, fun, and affordable
DJ Ryan Griz and Chenoa did a fantastic job with sound for our ceremony, dinner, and reception- and for a very reasonable price! Ryan answered every single detailed question I had before the big day so that I could rest assured our wedding planning was on track. He went the extra mile to track down our monogram logo, which was stuck in the mail, and make sure it go to our venue in time. They brought all of their own equipment and worked smoothly with the venue staff. Chenoa crushed it as our reception DJ, getting everyone on the dance floor regardless of age or music preference. Throughout the entire experience, Ryan and Chenoa kept the fun high and stress low. Choosing your wedding DJ is a big decision- it can make or break your night. Choose DJ Ryan Griz and you will be in very good hands! -

Everything we had hoped for.
We loved working with Ryan, he listened to what we wanted and helped make our wedding everything we had hoped for. The lighting was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our day and the online portal allowed us to create our own special music playlist. I definitely recommend working with him! -

He was easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, Skyped with us in advance to get an understanding of what we were looking for, gave suggestions to smooth the musical flow throughout the evening, adapted to our last minute requests and helped us play a pre-recorded speech. His web form for filling out songs we wanted in advance was very helpful as well. He got everyone on the dance floor and kept the energy up all night. We highly recommend his services! -

Chenoa actually DJ'd our wedding, and she did a fantastic job!! I had a few special requests (a friend played a few songs on his guitar at the wedding) and she was able to accommodate that so beautifully. She nailed the timing of the processional songs, and played every song we requested! Thank you, Ryan & Chenoa! -
User396294 Sent on 08/18/2010I hired this company with the promise that they would be professional and "keep the wedding moving." Prior to my wedding, we set out a timeline of what we wanted to happen when. However, we ended up having to tell the DJ every single move to make. We had to tell them it was time to cut the cake, time for first dance, time for bouquet toss, ect.... This is not how we wanted our wedding to go. We wanted to be able to sit back and enjoy it, not to have to worry about lulls and our guests getting bored and leaving while our "professional" dj's sat back in a corner and played around. We gave them a list of songs prior to the wedding that we wanted played. The only slow song they played all night was the first dance song. How could they not realize it was A WEDDING, and DUH we wanted slow songs to be played??? We gave them a list!!!!!! Save yourselves a huge disappointment, flustraion, and money and go with a different service. They ruined my wedding, then sent me a lovely bill for it.
