DJ Mike 10/10

This review is long overdue, but Mike was our wedding DJ at Spurwing two years ago this August. He was INCREDIBLE! We had a meeting over the phone, he made sure to send us the songs we wanted and the cut off times. He did it flawlessly! He played a variety of music and had everyone partying until the venue shut us down. Great value for all he does! My husband and I still talk about how great he was! He made the best moments of our wedding, the most memorable ones! Do not go with anyone else for your wedding DJ!

Forever Grateful

There were many things I missed or could have done better for my wedding. One thing that I did not mess up on was our DJ Chris. My highlight of our wedding was our music. He took care of and managed just exactly which music I wanted and when. He was very organized and on point with any last minute changes. We put our trust in him and he proved us right. He showed genuine concern for our needs and always made sure the atmosphere was still moving! I know I am not getting married again but Chris will be our first pick for music at an event ❤️

Great Wedding DJ!

Mike Gradien was amazing! Helped us plan the day, controlled the flow of events. Super responsive..... kept everything moving, involved the guests, but not in an obnoxious “over the top” way. Would highly recommend Mike for any DJ services you may need!

DJ RP and Mike Gradien are the BEST!!!

Mike Gradien was amazing! He was very helpful with set up, playlist, and schedule ideas and made the whole event easy and fun! He is very knowledgeable and experienced, really set our minds at ease beforehand, and was a major reason our wedding was a hit! He drove from out of town, set up early, handled announcements, and kept the dancefloor packed! If he or Rory are available for your wedding, book them immediately They really know how to throw a party! Thank you, Mike and Rory!!!!

Amazing Company To Work With

Mike was absolutely fabulous at reading the crowd and event in general. He kept the music quieter when we were having dinner and conversation was taking place, and he knew the right moment to pick it up. I didn't have to ask anything of him, I just queued him when it was time for the last song. I would highly recommend Mike and DJ Rory P for your wedding.

Made the Wedding!

DJ Chris was amazing! He made our wedding last all night long and even the clean up crew couldnt get our guests off the dance floor! Would 100% recommend. Thanks Chris!

Rory was a true professional from day one. He did an excellent job keeping our wedding on track and played the music we chose. Planning a wedding is full of choices and I can honestly say we chose the best DJ!

Best vendor we chose for our wedding by far. Rory has fantastic DJ skills but what sets him apart is his personality, his energy and his service. He thought of things for our wedding that neither of us thought of that really made our event perfect. We didn’t hire a coordinator for the day of and he owned the timeline and kept the party moving along and kept everyone entertained all night. Rory has got to be your first option for DJ services.

I cannot give high enough review of DJ Rory P! He listened to everything I envisioned my wedding to look and sound like and executed it beyond my expectation! He was so easy going, he was very professional, and he made the reception a party of a lifetime! We danced until we literally could not dance any more! I would highly recommend using him for any event!

Rory was above and beyond everything we expected! He listened to the types of genres of music we wanted to be played and fully executed and then some! He was great with communication on the day of as we got a little behind on our timeline and he always let us know what was coming next. Our friends and family even came up commenting about how great Rory was with everyone and the music he was playing for our guests. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Rory was professional from the minute we first setup a meeting, til the end of our wedding. His knowledge of how to plan out the events for the day were so helpful, and he truly just allows you to enjoy your day, while taking care of all the little timelines. So many of our guests loved Rory, and told us they just loved the music he played. If you want your wedding to be magical, talk to Rory, he will truly help your day be magical.

Rory was a pleasure to work with! He was extremely responsive in the months leading up to the wedding, arrived hours in advance to setup, checked on us throughout the afternoon/evening, and played great music! This is one of the few events I've been to where attendees danced the entire time music was playing. He was also very entertaining on the mic, and we received nothing but compliments from our guests on how great the DJ & music were. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

We just hired Rory to do our daughter's wedding. He is perfect! I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. He was very easy to work with, professional and extremely talented! Rory was worth every penny! He went above and beyond to make our day perfect! He made sure everyone (caterers, guests, photographer, bridal party, bride/groom) was on the same page, kept things organized/flowing, and most importantly made it so my husband and I didn't have to worry about how the reception would flow. He did it all for us! He was professional and on top of things from the second we booked him all the way through following up after the wedding. Highest recommendation from us!

From the minute I met Rory, I knew I wanted him to be our wedding DJ/Emcee. I could just tell he was so passionate about his profession. Our #1 goal of the wedding was for everyone to have fun and I knew that Rory was going to be a huge part of that. He was very responsive and very flexible throughout the entire process. Everything from the ceremony to the send off flowed perfectly. I loved his services! I would recommend him to anyone!

Rory did an absolutely amazing job! He had the crowd pumped up from the grand enterance to the very last song! People were on the dance floor all night long. He had a great way of engaging the crowd and keeping the party going!! His energy was through the roof!! We have had multiple people tell us that it was the best reception they have been to because of the DJ! Would 100% use him again and HIGHLY recommend!

His professionalism and love for his job were visible from the very first meeting we had. He kept an open line of communication with us from that point on and never pushed us to book specific services or upgrades. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and always made us feel like we knew exactly what to expect on our wedding day. The big day arrived and everything went as planned. The sound system during the ceremony was perfect, the music selection and flow was perfect, and he even played almost all of our "must play" list and a few last minute requests from family and friends. At the end of the evening he offered to stay for an additional 1/2 hour and would bill us the following day, which we gladly agreed to so the dancing didn't have to end abruptly.

Overall, he surpassed all of our expectations and we highly recommend his services.

Rory is an exceptional DJ and was a wonderful part of our wedding day! He kept the evening flowing smoothly and everyone was very impressed and entertained. We loved that he helped us organize our day of timeline as well! Several of our guests asked for his info at the reception to hire him for their own events. All around a professional and personable guy that we will continue to recommend to all our family and friends.

DJ Rory is great all-around! He was professional, experienced, and organized from the beginning to the end. He's the perfect example of a great DJ AND great MC which is critical to keep the evening on track. At one point he started passing out drinks for toasts to help the wait staff!! DJ Rory is a must!

Rory was an awesome choice for our wedding!! He delivered on everything he said he would do and much much more!! He played the music WE wanted and not just music he thought was good. DJ Rory P was the perfect choice for our wedding! Rory rose above our expectations by not only spending time with us prior to our wedding and helping us lay out the perfect music for our big day - but the day of our wedding Rory took charge and helped our wedding timeline run smoothly. He was awesome!! Really organized and thorough with asking us what kind of music we wanted played. He kept the party going and made people feel comfortable to come out and dance. A DJ makes a wedding great so I highly recommend Rory if you're looking for a great DJ!

We hired Rory to DJ at our wedding in August and got SO much more than just great DJ services. Rory is absolutely the best and made the day go by so smoothly. He was an amazing DJ and had everyone of all ages out on the dance floor having a great time. He coordinated with our caterer & photographer and basically coordinated the entire wedding & reception for us and kept the flow of events running just perfectly. We would have been lost without Rory taking the lead. He took his time meeting with us before the wedding as much as we wanted to, to review all music choices and got everything perfectly. His choice of music was excellent and we could not have been more happy. For any future events, we will definitely hire Rory again without even looking elsewhere and HIGHLY recommend him to anyone for wedding services.

You know you have a great DJ when your outdoor wedding has turned into a tornado, yet people are still dancing!! Crazy weather and having to move his equipment multiple times and he didn't miss a beat. Would highly recommend!!!

Rory is the the best! He was kind, courteous, flexible, on time and stocked with music. He was so helpful in getting the party started and helping us wind it down when it needed to end. He was on top of anything both me and my husband needed at any time and I am so pleased we hired him. He really delivers the best "bang for your buck." I would hire him easily for any event in the future. You need this man at your wedding!!

The was a birthday celebration for a lady turning 90. There were aproximately 175 people attending the birthday party. There was a wide age range for the group. Rory did an amazing job. He played great music for dancing. It was just fun. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Rory for making this a memorable event!

Rory was great to work with. He was very accommodating and was able to setup equipment inside and outside of our venue. Most important of all, he played great music. You know you have a good DJ when people start dancing early and never stop. Highly recommended.

Rory was absolutely amazing. Not only did he get nearly every single person, no matter the age, up and dancing at my wedding, but when it was all over, he came and partied the rest of the night away with my new husband and I and the rest of the wedding party. He was seriously the best DJ, friendly, personable and genuinely cares about you and your event. My wedding went seamlessly thanks to Rory and my husband and I danced our hearts out.

DJ Rory P was extremely professional & very well liked by the entire crowd that was full of guests with a wide range of ages! He played great music, interacted with everyone, was at the event & set up with quite a bit of time to spare and was very professional!!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who has an event coming up - you won't be disappointed!!!!

Rory was AWESOME! The most impressive part about his service is the dedication of time he takes BEFORE your event to customize it to your wants. We were able to request a variety of songs that fit in every scenario (dinner, formal ceremony, party party party time). I was very much appreciative of his willingness to meet with us multiple times and walk us through different scenarios he has been through. Thanks, Rory!

I only give the value a 2.5 because I don't feel like we really utilized all of a wedding DJs amenities - yes, it was a wedding reception, but it was fairly nontraditional - a lot of traditional events where a DJ might host weren't necessary for us. OTHERWISE, Rory was great. He listened to everything we asked, kept the party going all night along, and was really easy to work with. I highly recommend Rory for your event.
