Best DJ ever!
DJ Rome 802 is hands down the best DJ ever!! We got married in September at Burke Mountain VT. From the moment we first reached out to Jerome, he was responsive and professional and we knew he was exactly the one to help us create the perfect wedding day. Jerome worked directly with the venue to ensure an easy day for everyone involved. This saved us from any unnecessary stress because he was on top of everything the whole time.
He came out a day early for the wedding and spent the night at the resort to ensure he had plenty of time the day of the event to set up and wasn’t late for any reason. The transition from one event to the next was seamless, despite having to move from the top of the mountain and back into the resort for cocktail hour and the reception.
The reception was absolutely perfect. We had a few announcements and special dances we wanted and Jerome was great every step of the way. I’ve never seen a DJ do such a good job at getting everyone out onto the dance floor all night long. He had 93 year old grandmothers out there dancing to “Get Low” by Lil Jon and everyone in between. There was never a quiet moment and everyone really enjoyed it. He did a great job at reading the room and playing a great mix of songs that catered to all age groups and dancing styles.
The Photo Booth was set up in the perfect spot right near the bar, ensuring that everyone saw it and was able to sign the book he left for us. He was so interactive with all the guests, which made for a really fun experience for everyone! He took some awesome pictures in the Photo Booth with one of my little cousins who befriended him instantly. He wouldn’t leave his side all night and it’s such a great memory to have. It’s been weeks and he still asks how his DJ friend is doing every time I see him.
Overall, we have received so many comments from guests on how much they loved the DJ. Everything about working with him was a great experience and I’m already ready to hire him again. He is such a genuine person who truly wanted to be there celebrating with us. Thank you Jerome for everything!

Everyone on the dance floor 💃🏼🕺
DJ Rome 802 had all ages from toddlers to grandparents and all in between. The mix of music was eclectic and inviting and the DJ really interacted so organically. He really captured such emotion with the instrumental and chosen music during the ceremony atop Burke Mountain. Later his fun personality hyped up guests with an interactive Photo Booth, light sticks , and various props to enhance our dance moves and photos.
If you want everyone in your family dancing it up to fast paced classics, pop, rock, and some tear jerkers for the parents dancing with the bride and groom.... boom DJ Rome 802
You will have so many photos and videos of your friends and family having a blast surrounding you on your special day.

You need DJ Rome at your wedding!!
DJ Rome was incredible!! Our special day would not have been as wonderful as it was without him. Everyone -- even my grandparents -- was out on the dance floor and danced until the night's end. He was engaging, entertaining, respectful, and flexible. I asked to change my father-daughter dance song the day before the wedding, and he happily accommodated my request.
He provides a thorough survey that dives deep into your music taste, style, and vision for the night and holds true to your responses/requests. The music and timing of each kind of song were perfect. It was a great blend of slow and faster-paced songs that kept the energy in the right place.
My wedding was in June of this year, and even in August I'm still hearing from guests how much they enjoyed dancing the night away. If you want a DJ who will make your day extra special, DJ Rome is your guy!

Amazing Wedding DJ - Dance Floor Was Packed All Night!
DJ Rome was the perfect choice for our wedding! He read the room extremely well, and his music selections were all spot on. The dance floor was packed all night! He listened to a wide variety of requests including those from children, which really made their night. Jerome played some line dances to get people dancing but he wasn't cheesy at all, which is a very hard balance to strike. In addition, he was a very kind person to work with leading up to the wedding. We got so many compliments on the music and the party, all thanks to Jerome! We would recommend him to anyone having a Vermont wedding.

DJ Rome was the perfect choice for our wedding. He truly listened to our music requests and gave us a reception that fit our event perfectly! We made some last minute changes to the schedule of events day-of and he rolled with the punches, quickly shifting gears and keeping the night running smoothly. DJ Rome did an outstanding job with our small, non-traditional wedding day vision. We wanted to keep the day simple and minimize the typical wedding traditions and cheesy announcements, which he completely respected. He effortlessly blended into the background and delivered us the dinner-party vibe turned party that we were looking for.
During the planning stage, he was responsive and pleasant to work with. On our wedding day, he made sure our ceremony music was right on cue and cut at exactly the right spots. He blended our favorite tunes tastefully during cocktail hour and dinner to set the mood for guest conversation. When it was time to hit the dance floor, he turned it up and kept us and all our friends dancing all night long (and on a Thursday!). I would highly recommend DJ Rome to anyone.

Music was the most important thing to us for our wedding, and DJ Rome did an incredible job. He played all our requests in a way that kept folks excited and on the dance floor even when our requested music genres were quite different. I wouldn’t call myself a bridezilla but I had a lot of must plays and he got through all of them and absolutely nailed the songs in between. He even got our 93 year old grandma out on the dance floor. He made sure several times throughout the night that we were happy and even checked in at the end of the night to make sure we got the private dance song we wanted (highly recommend doing a private final dance btw). The photo booth was a great addition and the lights really created a great vibe too. I would 100% recommend Jerome for any event!

DJ Rome answered my inquiry within 15 minutes and sent me a quote within an hour.... my inquiry was sent through at 9pm. I was shocked and very pleased with his prompt response, detailed questions to learn about the event, and honest answers to all of our questions. Flexible During a Trying Time
With Covid downsizing and moving our wedding venue, DJ Rome was really flexible with us and gave us the ability to delay using his services to the following year. Unfortunately, Covid struck again and the wedding industry was going crazy so my wife and I decided to postpone our one-year celebration indefinitely. DJ Rome was so kind in giving us the deposit back that we had down with him because we still don't know when/if we will be doing a celebration down the road. I can't speak enough to his flexibility and professionalism during this time.

A night we never forget !
DJ Rome was amazing to work with! We had several meetings leading up to the wedding to go over our vision/vibe for the night and he played all the songs we were hoping for! We even asked him to announce our wedding party like they were being announced as the Boston Bruins starting line up and he completely nailed it!! (it was the one and only thing my groom asked for). DJ Rome was also able to mic up my officiant and worked with my bridesmaid to provide audio connection for a surprise video we played during my father/daughter dance. He made everything seamless and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you DJ Rome getting everyone out on the dance floor and keeping the party going all night!

Jerome is the absolute best. We hired Jerome for our winter wedding and we could be happier with our experience. He made the booking process easy and we really appreciated him checking in to see how the planning process was going. Dancing and music was very important to us and Jerome really came through. The dance floor was rocking and we danced our butts off. We also chose to have Jerome do the photo booth for your wedding. It was an awesome set up and so much fun. We were especially excited to receive copies of all the pictures in a book as well as digital copies.

Will hire DJ Rome again 💯
#CovidWedding in upstate NY. We hired Rome for our perfect day well before the pandemic hit. We chose him because , no offense to the other DJs in the area but Rome is the only DJ in the area that's not 1 dimensional. We are party people and listen to ALL types of music. After tons of research we found that Rome was the only DJ for us. We had a huge party planned but unfortunately mandates forced us to cut it down big time. Rome rolled with the punches and still made the day PERFECT. Besides those challenges we had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, a huge list of do NOT plays and tons of MUST plays. Rome ran the show to perfection, mixing everything timely and smoothly. After leaving a lasting impression with all our guest we are 100% planning on a huge bash when things calm down with Covid and plan on DJ Rome being there!

DJ Rome was INCREDIBLE. He was very communicative and detail oriented to make sure our day went smoothly. He took the lead and ran the night perfectly. He knew exactly how to get the crowd up and going. The dance floor was packed all night. DJ Rome even came out and joined us for a song when invited! He played every genre so everyone at the party was pleased. Have DJ Rome at your event and you will not only have an amazing time but you will make a lifelong friend.

It’s confirmed - best wedding DJ EVER
DJ Rome was better than I could have ever imagined a DJ could be for our September wedding. From the beginning he was easy to work with, asked for our opinion to perfect the playlists, and was flexible enough to incorporate a surprise happy birthday during our reception. He had people dancing the entire night, from reception to after party. He knows how to alter playlists for the type of party and crowd. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with one of the most important vendors of a wedding night - would recommend him to ANYONE!
PS. Rent the photo booth!!! We were laughing and having fun with the props all night, and Rome’s team gifts an amazing book with the photos taken, what a thoughtful touch!

He’s the best!
DJ Rome DJ’d our wedding last month in Stowe and he made our amazing day that much better. He was a pleasure to work with, always very response and had great ideas. His selection of songs are the very definition of a party, and the dance floor was packed the entire time. He also DJ’d our afterparty and the most common comment I got following it was that it “was a blast”, and that was all due to DJ Rome. I highly suggest getting the photo booth as that was a huge hit, his crew put together a beautiful book with the photos and guest notes in it for us to keep.

Amazing DJ!
Dj Rome made our reception the most fun night of our lives! Every single musical preference that we stated in our survey was honored. We emphasized that we really like to dance, and we wanted everyone dancing all night. That was DEFINITELY what happened. I had so many of our guests tell me they loved the DJ. J was the perfect dj for our day! We had some very specific combinations for dances and he NAILED it! His set up was amazing, and he was so great about making sure we had everything we wanted/needed for songs. I filled out the questionnaire and he didn’t have one question about it, he knew exactly what to do and how to do it! Highly recommend booking him for your day- we were beyond pleased!

I don't think I can say enough kind words about DJ Rome to do him justice. After a hectic morning working with our venue folks, DJ Rome's professionalism and music really made it all fall together. We had a really small and intimate wedding, and I was afraid nobody would be dancing. However, DJ Rome's music really got the whole crowd dancing. He answered all my questions in a timely manner, and seriously was my only vendor who responded in a timely manner haha. I didn't have to email multiple times or anything! His voice is super calming and he did a great job MC'ing the event. He got all my music down pat with just me answering a questionnaire. No regrets...cept I just wish I had more events that I could have him DJ for LOL. Our wedding was sooo much FUNNNNNN, and DJ Rome played a huge role in that.

DJ Rome was everything we hoped for and more. Not only is he super accommodating, organized and talented, but he’s the world’s nicest guy! There just isn't enough words to explain all the good things to say about DJ Rome. Like most brides, the idea of planning a wedding started off exciting and then quickly became daunting. There were moments where hiring vendors was tricky. DJ Rome, never made it tricky. He made it easy and comfortable and is such a kind human being. He answered every anxiety-induced question I had with kindness, he replied quickly to all of my emails (there were a lot) and he was so supportive and thoughtful throughout the whole process. He is the guy for the job. My family is not big dancers, and he still had people out there moving. He timed the entrance songs for the ceremony perfectly. He even handled some drama that was happening at the venue, and I never even knew about it until after. He was so flexible with us and went with the flow of the day perfectly. Simply, he felt like he was an old friend instead of someone we hired. He was the best, and both my husband and I are so grateful to him! Hire DJ Rome, you will not be sorry.

So much fun
DJ Rome was an amazing DJ and MC for my wedding! He was accommodating with lighting for a guest of mine with a history of Epilepsy, went with the flow when things were running a bit behind, and backed me up when I decided I just didn’t want to do a bouquet toss or dollar dance like I had originally planned! He was fun and kept the party going right up until the very end and even played one more song for us (after my wedding party started a chant!). I highly recommend him for any event!

A flexible and understanding DJ
Due to COVID, my partner and I were unable to hold the wedding we had planned and instead, are now planning a small intimate gathering. Although I did not witness firsthand Jerome's DJing, I can speak to his friendliness, organization, and professionalism. Before deciding to change the look of our wedding altogether, we postponed our large wedding to one year later, hoping that COVID would let up. Jerome was understanding and flexible, two things that are not guaranteed in the wedding industry. I would book again in a heartbeat. Lastly, if you need an extra boost of organizational support for your big day, Jerome is your guy. He is practically part wedding planner with the check-lists and organizational documents he provides couples for overall wedding planning. Thank you for everything, J!

COVID cancelled our day but Jerome was amazing!
Unfortunately due to COVID & being out of state, we were unable to hold our initial wedding. We had an immediate family ceremony that didn’t allow for a DJ.
I can’t speak to his Dj skills but I can speak to his professionalism, response time & overall greatness. If our budget & time allowed a large wedding- you bet your booty we’d have Jerome there. He was so incredible with our schedule, putting things on hold, rescheduling & even our deposit. We knew we were in good hands from the moment we spoke to him on the phone prior to hiring.
Just on that alone- I’d recommend DJ Rome & his crew.

The Perfect Wedding DJ
My Husband and I are huge music lovers and finding a great DJ was super important to us. DJ Rome spent so much time getting to know us and our style. Upon my initial search, many DJs and Bands in the VT area came up and I was overwhelmed. After having DJ Romes name, I searched his pages to find a comprehensive webpage and facebook page detailing the services. We decided to book DJ Rome based on his informative websites, quickness in responding, the services he provides (photo booth, wedding planner) on top of just DJ services. We are so glad we did. Sadly, our wedding was postponed and DJ Rome was happy to work with us and kept the customer in mind over his own business needs. High Quality of Service During Covid-19
We originally booked DJ Rome for our July 2020 wedding. After completing some research online, we heard great reviews and once we reached out he was quick to respond, incredibly friendly and we felt very comfortable with the service and rates provided. Like many others, Covid-19 impacted our original wedding vision. We have had to have a drastic change of plans and are no longer having a reception, however due to the level of professionalism and service, if we ever are in need for a DJ service, DJ Rome will be our first stop. I would like to make a very strong character recommendation for DJ Rome and its employees. I want to commend the integrity, honesty, and professionalism, that was displayed by this team to support their customer affected by delays due to COVID. Not only were they very forthcoming in being flexible with changes in schedule but also financial obligations. Jay was AMAZING! All of my guests are still raving about him. He was punctual, understood our "vibe" just from reading our music list, and was very responsive to song requests. We love some good old school Hip Hop and R&B. He played just the right amount of it and plugged in his own music that he saw fit. NO ONE left the dance floor the whole night, which was our goal. We could not be more pleased with our decision to hire DJ Rome for our wedding! From the start he was very responsive and helped guide us through the process. DJ Rome took a college reunion to another level! I attended TWO very different events DJed by DJ Rome and had such great experiences at both that I felt compelled to write him a review.
My husband and I traveled up from the Boston area to his military college's reunion and alumni weekend in Vermont. The events spanned a few days and the first night I encountered DJ Rome was at an alumni karaoke event for all class years. So this meant the ages ranged from mid-20s to people easily in their 70s. I wasn't sure what to expect at an event like this in VT but I was soon proven wrong. DJ Rome had EVERYONE participating in karaoke and on the dance floor much to my surprise! He was able to strike a chord with all ages.
The second time I saw DJ Rome was the final party of the long weekend at a different venue for this event with maybe 500+ people. After a fantastic fireworks display everyone was ready to party and DJ Rome did NOT disappoint! I have never seen so many people of different ages on the dance floor and having the time of their lives. I never once stopped dancing myself! He left such an impression on me I had to get his business card because not only was he able to feel out what would most appeal to the crowd but he was extremely professional and patient with all guests.
My husband and I just got married a month ago in Boston and went through the DJ selection process where there are plenty of talented DJs to choose from. I would've chosen DJ Rome! As a newlywed who wanted a fantastic party for her guests and someone who just attended two parties with DJ Rome, I highly recommend this man to any couple looking to put a lasting impression on their big day and ensure that EVERYONE has an amazing time!

DJ Rome and his team were fantastic to work with. Easy to communicate with and quick to respond. On the day of our wedding we were lucky enough to get one of his team, DJ Cody, to work with. The best dance party!!!!
Our guests described our wedding as a dance party! DJ Rome played all of our favorite party songs and our guests danced until the very end!!!

What more can you want in a DJ?!
When my wife mentioned "DJ Rome 802" as her first choice for our Mount Snow wedding, I have to admit I thought his DJ name was a bit corny. However after our wedding, I totally think he earned that party name! I can not offer enough praise to DJ Rome and his assistant, not only were their prices more than fair, and bordering on cheap, but their services were well into the Premium category. The photobooth was awesome, and they took some pictures for their own personal files, and were happy to give us those to add to our albums.
DJ Rome kept the dance floor FULL all night, even during the slow songs, and strictly adhered to our "Do Not Play" list. He also successfully navigated the requests by our numerous drunken guests, and played all the right songs. Do yourself a favor, and just book him, there's no point in doing anymore research, you won't regret it!!!

VT Mountain Wedding
DJ Rome was amazing to work with, extremely professional, organized and quick to respond. Even when we didn't have the share drive completely filled out he made sure to ask what we needed days before the wedding. Photobooth was a huge hit with print outs at the wedding, we even got a photobook with all of the pictures inside that guests could sign. He played great music and kept the party going all night. He and his associate were even able to bring a speaker and microphone up the mountain for our ceremony. Nothing but complements for him! 10/10 recommend for any event! All our guests even raved about how good he was in the days following. Hes super accommodating and flexible. A pleasure to work with. I wished I lived in VT I would hire him for all my parties! I do not have enough good things to say about him. Do yourself a favor and hire him, you wont be sorry!

DJ Rome knows how to party
DJ Rome was friggin' awesome. He was a pleasure to deal with as he was always responsive and professional in the lead up to the big day.
He has a great questionnaire that you fill out that gives him an idea of your style. We were very particular about our music choices and gave him (probably too many) notes on what were must-plays and what were no-gos and he killed it, taking our notes and turning the dance floor into an unforgettable experience. Our guests were covered in sweat from all the dancing, but they all had smiles plastered across their faces.
His set up is great, and he comes prepared with extra gear such as microphones and light-show equipment just in case you need it (we went with the light show, it was awesome!) He knew how to fit discreetly in our reception space without his gear spilling out all over the place, or it feeling like the center of attention.
DJ Rome was a pleasure in person, knew how to keep the speeches moving along, and had a great voice himself. The flow of the night was perfect, the mix of the songs fantastic, and he even took some requests to the delight of our guests (but also knew to say no to some of the more... inebriated guests).
His assistant was super helpful and kind and even snapped some beautiful photos of the wedding for us (can never have too many of those!)
We would recommend him in a heartbeat and can't thank him enough for helping us host the greatest night of our lives.

Wonderful DJ
DJ Rome was very easy to work with an very knowledgable. He mad many recommendations for songs(bridal party entrance, cake cutting, etc). He is more than happy to take song requests and had descent lighting. He checked in many times to clarify parts and timing where we did not give enough information, before announcing them to the public.Overall I would recommend his services to all my friends and family!

DJ Ianu was awesome!!! We threw some curveballs and asked for Brazilian music and gave him some samples of YouTube videos. He blew it out of the park and even found others we hadn’t mentioned! All the songs we requested were played and everyone had an amazing time. 10/10 would definitely hire again!

An impeccable DJ start to finish!
We can’t say enough great things about our experience with Jay. From the very beginning he was personable, professional, and ensured our fairy-tale wedding and reception came together without a hitch. Our ceremony music was absolutely perfect down to the second with timing. Guests could hear the ceremony throughout with ease. And for the cocktail hour and reception he kept everyone entertained and kept on task to make up for time lost with a late start from the bridal party (whoops!)
He played all the music we wanted, used the specific versions we gave him for specialty songs like first dances and the ceremony, and worked so well with our videographer and our musicians that played the procession music as guests were seated. And with a last switch in announcements/line up of the ceremony just minutes before the ceremony began, Jay accommodated and made everything run perfectly.
We could go on and on—but to summarize, Jay gave us everything we could have asked for in a DJ and MC, and he felt like a close friend to us and the crowd. He tied our weekend together and for that we are forever thankful. Book with Jay! You won’t be disappointed.

Jerome was fantastic! He was so flexible and easy going and provided great tunes through the reception. We gave him a few playlists ahead of time of songs we liked and he totally nailed the aesthetic! Everyone was talking about how great he was. Kept the party going until the end of the night! Responsive, Friendly and Kept the Party Going!
We loved having DJ Rome 802 as our DJ company. In the time leading up to wedding, Jerome was responsive, helpful and supportive. He listened to our needs and made sure we were getting the best service possible. Whenever I had a question, he would answer quickly and thoroughly. DJ Ianu was our DJ for the night and he was wonderful! From his first email to us before our wedding to the end of our wedding, he was consistently friendly. He had a huge smile on his face throughout the night and kept our guests dancing. Our guests kept saying how nice our DJ was and how he was consistently friendly to everyone (even the ones who had indulged at the bar a little bit too much haha). You could tell he really loved what he was doing and that he was happy to be there. I would HIGHLY recommend going with DJ Rome 802 for our DJ needs- they are affordable, professional and truly LOVE what they do. THANK YOU DJ Rome 802!! Awesome experience!
The DJ Rome team was an ideal partner for our big day. After seeing their work at other events, we knew they were our top choice! Our venue heard we were going to be working with them and excitedly told us “they’re great!” They were.
Communicating early and often, we had full trust they would execute the perfect soundtrack for our day. DJ Ianu helped direct guests during dinner and provided helpful updates when it was time for our shuttles to depart. They were quick to accommodate on the spot requests, and they were very flexible, professional and kind! We really enjoyed the videos DJ Rome posted after our event to capture small moments we missed during the big day, especially the behind the scenes video of our reception entrance. The lighting was also fantastic.
So thankful for a great team and would recommend the DJ Rome team to anyone!

Jay made our day amazing
From the get-go Jay was organized and professional. He was in contact us early on with a spreadsheet of our likes and dislikes so we were comfortable going into the day. On the day of he was great in reading the crowd during cocktail our and our reception— we got a lot of compliments on the choice of music, and people were dancing up until the last minute which is exactly what we wanted. He was also really accommodating on set up both our outdoor mountain ceremony and indoor reception which were 15 minute drives away. His assistant was also great on taking some really nice pictures which was a great surprise outside of our professional wedding photos. All in all we would absolutely book Jay again and are so glad we chose him for our wedding. Thanks Jay!

Jay and team did an excellent job coordinating their part in our day. They went above and beyond to ensure that, day of, we would not need to worry. Jay made our wedding a true celebration, our friends couldn't stop raving about how much they danced and the wedding! Jay knew how to read the room and play just the right songs and the right time. People where full on dancing while waiting in line to get food! not to mention Jay was very friendly and professional during all of our interaction leading up to the wedding which was very re-assuring to us. 10/10 would recommend!

Talented DJ and MC worth every penny!
Jay was easy to work with, even though we didn't always get him the info that he needed. We eneded-up trusting him with a whole most of music selection choices, and he exceeded our expectatons. I recommend letting him do exactly what he wants beause he seems to have a talent for connecting with guests to find the music/vibe that brings them to the dancefloor. We also trusted him to guide our event and make choices about how/when to transition for those special moments like cake cutting or speaches. He was calm, cool, and collected and treated our guests with respect and patience as they tried to request every song that they could remember from their high school days! So many of our guests complimented us on the quality of our DJ -- even the caterer said he was amazing! We highly recommend him. You should also consider adding the wedding photo booth, which was a big hit with all ages.

DJ Rome killed it at our wedding! He was professional throughout the entire process and accommodated all of our requests. We had the best experience with Jerome as our DJ for our August 2016 wedding! He’s extremely professional and made sure our experience with him was stress free! From the first meeting to after the reception, Jerome was incredible in making sure all our sound needs were seamless. He arrived hours before the ceremony to make sure it everything was perfect and made sure everyone was happy on the dance floor! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
