Exceptional DJ & MCs

Groom: Had the pleasure of working with the DJ Raj company for my big Indian wedding. In terms of the process of wedding planning - Saorabh/Raj, who is the main point of contact, Is fantastic to work with. He is very responsive, and gives pretty clear ideas what can be provided, pricing, without much hidden in verbal/contractual sophistication. The DJ's are pretty thorough, and I'll give a shout out to DJ Prit who had to be brought in last minute but had a fire playlist, and a very big shout out to MC Sarob for doing some great of on the fly troubleshooting and for all-around being an extremely passionate guy. Overall, highly recommend.

Bride: From the planning process through the day of the event, everything was organized, clear, and easy to navigate, which was especially important for my type A personality. Communication was always prompt and straightforward, so I always knew exactly what to expect.

On the day of the wedding, the energy they brought was outstanding. Every guest loved them. They maintained a seamless flow throughout the night while creating a fun, engaging atmosphere that kept the dance floor active all evening. Everything felt natural, well-paced, and full of joy from start to finish.

Overall, they delivered an excellent balance of professionalism, energy, and execution, and they played a major role in making our celebration truly unforgettable.

Our Wedding

We had a great experience working with MC Raj and DJ Manan throughout our wedding weekend. They were professional, organized, and clearly very experienced from the planning stage through the events.

They handled the audio and worked closely with the AV and lighting teams to help bring the entire production together smoothly. DJ Manan absolutely crushed it on the music and kept the dance floor packed all night, while also adjusting on the fly to requests throughout the weekend.

Many of our guests commented on how great the music and overall energy were. We’re very grateful for their work and would highly recommend them.

Wonderful AV/Lighting

We didn’t fully appreciate the impact of lighting and AV at events until our wedding! They were truly essential in creating the atmosphere for each celebration, and we deeply value the coordination and technical execution Raj brought to every detail.

Outstanding Experience

DJ Raj is epitome of professionalism. From the moment we retained him for my daughter's wedding to the culmination, it has been nothing but just a fabulous experience for all. He has the best sound system, lighting options and an amazing DJ Mannan who got everyone on the dance floor non-stop with his trendy music both on Sangeet and Reception night. All our 400+ guests thoroughly enjoyed the music and were raving about it as everyone danced to their heart's content. Raj did an amazing job MC'ing both during Sangeet and Reception and ensured everyone danced to the tunes of his dholi and music during the Baraat. He executed the program as drafted to perfection. His professionalism clearly showed on the day of the events as they knew the exact tunes to play during Sangeet to the day of reception, and the guests were continually enthralled. We as hosts didn't have to worry about any details and he executed flawlessly per the plan. We now have lined him up for all the weddings in our family :)

From start to finish, DJ Raj and team are IMPECCABLE!! DJ, MC, lighting, and sound completely transformed our event into an unforgettable experience. The lighting design was nothing short of spectacular. Dynamic, colorful, and perfectly timed with the music. It elevated the atmosphere from ordinary to extraordinary, creating a true “wow” factor the moment guests walked in.

Raj and his team are absolutely incredible. Raj was so accommodating with all of our requests and last-minute changes, making the entire process stress-free. You can tell he truly loves what he does — we hardly had to give any instructions because he just understood our vision and brought it to life. He tailored the music exactly to our preferences while also reading the crowd perfectly, keeping the energy high throughout.

What really stood out was how flawlessly he handled all six of our events. We had different artists performing at each one, yet we didn’t have to worry about a single thing because Raj took care of it all — from coordinating with performers, to managing the sound and lighting, to making sure everything flowed seamlessly.

Even now, when I go back and watch the videos, I feel the same emotions I felt in those moments because of how powerful his sound and lighting setup was. His equipment and delivery created an atmosphere so electric that even the uncles and aunties who never dance were on their feet all night long. Upscale Event Lighting

We hired Raj (DJ Raj Lighting Events) for event lighting & stage design for an upscale 50th Birthday event in the city of Philadelphia, through word of mouth, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations! The owner, Raj, personally came, saw, and executed the entire event with his team. He worked closely with the venue AND myself to ensure that everything ran smoothly and looked elegant, yet dynamic on the dance floor. His ideas for a custom monogram and cool sparklers gave our event an extra flair that really energized the room. The transformation with lighting was extraordinary and the stage he created was perfect for the band. His guidance, patience, and professionalism was immeasurable. Amazing DJ!!!

My first experience with DJ Raj’s work was at my friend’s wedding where he provided music and lighting. The room was stunning and the music was incredible! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. I had such a great time I knew I had to book him for my wedding reception as well, and I am so glad I did. DJ Raj’s staff was so professional and provided our music, lights and a photo booth. DJ Sunny did an incredible job giving us exactly the right energy and vibe for our reception, especially after the management at our venue caused numerous problems throughout our event (Pearl Banquet in Hicksville, NY—definitely avoid!). I am so grateful to DJ Raj and his team for being the highlight of our party and would highly recommend his services for any special event!

We had an amazing time thanks to DJ Vik, MC Vince, and Raj. We chose this entertainment and lighting company because they were the vendors for our best friends’ wedding and we had a great time then. Fast forward to our wedding, we are so happy that we decided on them after considering several companies. Unforgettable Wedding Weekend - The Best DJ and MC Duo!

The MC, Vince, was an absolute maestro in engaging the audience. I had expressed my concerns prior to our event about our guests not feeling comfortable on the dance floor. At one point in the night, I looked around me and not a single person was sitting, everyone was on the dance floor and I owe that all to Vince and Amlan. Their ability to gauge the crowd's energy and adapt the playlist accordingly was nothing short of impressive.
The feedback from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive, with many mentioning that it was the best wedding entertainment they've ever experienced. Weeks after the celebration, people are still talking about the amazing DJ and MC duo, highlighting the lasting impression they left on our special day.

Mehndi night

We had Mehndi night for our daughter at Hyatt Rochester New York. DJ Raj entertainment was amazing, Professional, responsive, flexible and they had the best beats. Incredible!

DJ Raj’s team did an excellent job coordinating our wedding songs! During our Baraat and reception, their MC, Vince brought so much light and energy to our special day with his dance moves and enthusiasm! He made sure that even the older relatives came out on the dance floor and hyped up all of our guests!!!! During our last song, he made it interactive even though the song was not as common which was so memorable! I was also told by my relatives he was so genuine to talk to! DJ Amlan was so helpful in making sure our first dance song ran smoothly during our rehearsal and incorporated great songs at our reception. He also was able to add in songs we requested that were more specific to the genre we loved. Overall their team was great to work with!

We hired DJ Raj entertainment for our wedding. They completed the baraat which our guests said was the best part of the whole wedding! They kept the crowd hype and everyone had a great time even in the cold. They kept the whole rest of the day flowing making sure everything was staying on schedule. THe music played by DJ Amlan got the crowd going. We got a lot of compliments after the wedding from our guests on how much they loved the DJ and MC. Also sound quality was amazing. Have been to several weddings where the quality of sound is really bad but no flaws in the sound throughout the night. Overall great vibes, and great time!

DJ Raj brought the party!

DJ Raj had a very professional initial consultation with us. We had a mixed hindu/western wedding and DJ Raj put us at ease with his experience in handling similar events. We interviewed a few other DJs but DJ Raj was the most professional. I (the white groom) felt confident that DJ Raj could guide my side through the Hindu parts with ease.

About one month out from our wedding, we had another consultation where DJ Raj gave us a very well organized sheet to fill out with details. After the call, we listed all of the songs we wanted and a detailed timeline of the day. DJ Raj also offered guidance on the positioning of the DJ booth during the day and other details. At about a week out, we finalized the document and everything was set.

The day kicked off with a baraat on consisting of both sides of our new family and DJ Raj got everyone dancing. It was great! He played a mix of Bollywood and top 40 music that everyone could dance to and made sure that everyone felt included.

Both ceremonies went well. All the music was played right on queue and the MC kept all announcements tasteful.

During the reception, the party was on fire. The MC kept everyone on the dancefloor and the music was just what everyone needed and they kept it going until the very end. The equipment was good and could handle a big venue. There were no issues throughout the day with mics cutting out or anything of that nature.

The pricing is straightforward and matched the services provided. There were no surprises on that front. I would definitely hire DJ Raj again!

Music for Baraat, reception and after party

DJ Raj provided and his team of amazingly talented musicians assured that the morning Baraat and Jain ceremony was a huge success. Our friends and family have not stopped talking about it 😊 His engaged and welcoming style, the musical arrangements, the absolutely outstanding drummer whose charismatic personality captured the imagination all contributed to a joyous and festive celebration. The Tabla and sitar player were also very much enjoyed during the splendid luncheon and summer like weather.

The Bollywood set during the evening reception inspired all of us to dance and enjoy the party 😊 Bravo. I would highly recommend this vendor for your musical needs

Don't hesitate - work with DJ Raj!

Raj was incredible from day 1. He was incredibly responsive from our initial meeting, and through all the wedding ups and downs (such as rescheduling due to COVID-19), he was more than just our DJ - he helped counsel us through so many things, beyond just music. We considered ourselves lucky to be a customer of his.

Beyond that - he and his partner Amlan were a TON of fun at the wedding itself. He played the perfect music for every event and the crowd could not stop talking about how good the two of them were. They were so good at pumping up the crowd when we needed energy and also slowing things down at the appropriate time. We would recommend Raj and his team in a heart beat.

Dj raj & team will blow right past your expectations!

Our wedding events were held on Nov 18-21, 2021 in Mexico and we chose DJ RAJ Services over multiple other vendors. From the first time contacting Raj, he was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. We utilized his DJ/MC services and DJ Amlan and MC Vince were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our dance floor was never empty and we’ve been getting nonstop compliments and praise for Amlan and Vince from our guests. From the Mendhi Welcome Night to the Reception, was a nonstop banger and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and MC. Amlan was super detailed and efficient in all our requests, made life super easy on us. Vince's energy is unmatched and was very fitting and contagious for our rowdy crowd. Poconos August Reception - Best DJ Ever!

We originally booked DJ RAJ for our wedding last May and, as is the story for numerous couples, we had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19. We first moved it to August and then October and then decided to split our wedding and reception. Raj was the easiest vendor to work with during this process. He could basically make any day work and was flexible when we cancelled portions of our wedding, which originally we needed his teams support for. This made our lives so much easier. He is quick to respond and communication was straight forward and simple. When it was a couple weeks out he let us know who our MC and DJ was and we walked through the program. It was clear from the beginning that they knew what they were doing and we didn’t have to worry in the slightest and we were right! We had uplighting for our venue and Kay picked out the perfect colors and executed everything beautifully. It definitely enhanced the room and added to the vibe. DJ Amlan and MC Derrick were absolutely amazing! Our dance floor was never empty and we’ve been getting nonstop compliments and praise for Amlan and Derrick from our guests. Great Wedding/Baraat DJ!

DJ Raj is excellent to work with and was an awesome DJ/MC for our Sangeet night and baraat. We decided to do our baraat last minute since things were uncertain due to COVID, but he made it work the week of our wedding! Raj has a lot of experience (he also did my brother's wedding) and was able to handle our events seamlessly. He played all the hits and had all our friends (and aunties/uncles) dancing! Also, even though the weather was not what we expected (hurricane during memorial day weekend!), he worked with us to have our baraat outside and to execute our vision of doing a joint entrance. I definitely recommend DJ Raj, especially if you are doing a South Asian wedding event!

Perfect, professional experience for music and lighting

We worked with DJ Raj Entertainment for our wedding week and they are AMAZING. My fiance and I had a unique vision for each of our events and DJ Raj and DJ Manan really delivered. They were incredibly organized, professional, and most importantly really knowledgeable and able to guide us to help our visions come to life. Before the wedding, the team scheduled a few meetings to make sure that they understood what we wanted. It's very evident that DJ Raj is so experienced and really understands the intricate details of long wedding weeks. He knows what's needed - both to honor the traditions/rituals as well as to create a lit party. Our music for our sangeet was uniquely different from our reception. He was able to get us dhol players as needed. My fiance's baraat was multicultural, involved everyone, and so much fun. The music was seamlessly intertwined into our ceremony. My fiance had one request for the reception - he wanted the dance floor to turn into a club. DJ Raj and DJ Manan did not disappoint!! People from our party are still texting us about how hyped up our reception was. The lighting was incredible, the haze was perfect, and the music was on point. They had something for everyone at the party and our dance floor was packed from beginning to end. We enjoyed every second of our reception and so much of that was because of this team's efforts. Reflecting on the wedding week, all of DJ Raj's advice proved to be true and contributed to making our wedding week - particularly our reception - exactly what we had wanted. Perfectly executed wedding during COVID

If Dj Raj and his team can crush it on my wedding during COVID, I know I am in the right hands when we need to call them again in the future! When we were started planning our wedding and it was time to select lighting & music, my mother-in-law had one request, ''I want you guys to book DJ Raj.'' I had been to other events in the past that were done by his team so I knew their team did a great job. From start to finish, they were extremely professional, super helpful, and went above and beyond on helping us execute the perfect event!

Our wedding was in an outdoor tent during COVID at the end of October. Raj took the lead, and was extremely proactive, with the venue to make sure the outdoor tent would be electrically fitted to handle everything (all the electrical the caterer would need, the music would need, the lighting would need, and all the electric the heaters would need on a cold fall night!!) He had his bases covered! During the design phase, we decided we wanted to do ferry lights over the dance floor. We ran the idea by Raj to see if our tent would be able accommodate this setup and he had a great response, ''I love a challenge!'' The ferry lights came out stunning and added a beautiful touch to the overall look. Based on our floral design, he created a beautiful look for the rest of the room as with the pinspot lights and and color washes.

For our music, I know many couples will select their wedding playlist songs in detail. We had been to many lively Dj Raj parties before so we told him to play what he thought was best for each event. We loved the music at our wedding! They did an awesome job at hyping up the crowd and keeping the dance floor busy. The music was so good it even got my 80 year old uncle to dance, who never dances! A fan favorite was MC Vince Chang! He can dance all night long and keep up with the best of them! He did an awesome job at keeping the crowd going all night!

One last thing, since this wedding was during COVID, the team did an excellent job implementing safety precautions for their staff and our guests. We appreciated the attention to safety guidelines.

DJ Raj is the best, DJ Amlan is the best, and MC Vince Chang is the best!! So thankful we were able to work with them and look forward to working with them again for all of our future life celebrations.

Used them 3 times already, definitely won't be the last...

I’ve used DJ Raj and his team for 3 large family events so far. They always deliver. All their DJs and MCs know how to work the crowd. I have an eclectic group of family and friends and they can pull them all on the dance floor regardless of age, ethnicity, music tastes, etc. They are all talented. They are reasonably priced to boot. They will travel too…did an amazing job with my destination wedding. Hire them and you won’t be disappointed.

Made Our Wedding Spectacular

My wife is of Colombian and I'm of Indian heritage, and we both grew in here in the U.S. DJ Raj was excellent from the day we met him. DJ Amlan was on point with the music and got all the music (especially our entrances and first dance) done way better than I could have imagined. MC Gabriel really hyped up the crowd and was very active with all of us throughout, and especially awesome, on the dance floor. The photobooth team was excellent, props were excellent, and we loved the album they gave us at the end of the night. We also had a live sitar and tabla player during cocktail which all our family and friends loved. Whatever the occasion, I highly recommend DJ Raj and the his team.

This review is so long overdue - but we had to save the best for last! Our wedding was truly amazing and we give a huge amount of credit to Raj for that, especially our DJ Amlan and MC Vince, they were absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. They were always so responsive and really helped us figure out what would work best any time we were indecisive. The entire team took their time to get to know us and made sure our wedding truly reflected our personal style. And everyone had such a great time, which was really the most important thing to us. Family and friends are still telling us how much fun they had at our wedding! They were willing to travel to all our events and made sure to always keep the party going, even in the sand with no preset dance floor. Our guest had the time of their lives because Raj, Amlan and Vince gave it their best.

50th Birthday Party

We had a 50th Birthday Party for my wife, at the Ritz Carlton, Washington DC, this December, and we used DJ Raj for the event. What a fantastic decision that turned out to be. They graciously accepted our frequent changes in the playlists, offering many suggestions along the way.
They arrived to the venue site, on time and expeditiously set up the video wall. They accommodated all the last-minute changes that these types of events incur with absolute professionalism.
The event itself was sublime, the music videos blending in seamlessly from not just from song to song, but also with the Dhol Musician and the changes in genre of the music.
DJ Amlan took many requests from guests and not only played the song, but also mixed the music video as well. Guests were simply blown away.
We will be using DJ Raj for out future events.

Amazing! Would highly recommend to everyone!

Raj and his team members were amazing. They seamlessly were able to mix Indian and American songs to cater to all of our guests. They perfectly read our crowd to know which direction to carry the music and keep our dance floor packed. He and his team kept everyone engaged during our baraat and incorporated the grooms favorite artist (Taylor Swift) into the mix! His lighting was also exceptional and complemented the rest of our decorations. Raj is accessible and responsive and touched base with us even after normal business hours to accommodate our schedules. If we had to do it all again, we would 100% choose DJ Raj and his team for our wedding.

Awesome Company

We knew from the minute we got engaged that we wanted DJ Raj Entertainment & Event Lighting and Amlan to DJ our Wedding. We couldn’t be happier the way things turned out. Amlan was so fantastic and knew just what music to play! He listened to all of our wants and needs and made sure all of it happened that night. Our MC was great as well! He really pumped up the crowd and got everyone onto the dance floor. They also did our lighting for our event which was BEAUTIFUL. They really turned our venue into a castle and made it look so elegant with the lighting and monogram! Best Wedding DJ!

Where can I start? Raj and Amlan, you both are amazing! Amlan exceeded all our expectations from baarat to the end of the reception, He kept everyone dancing the whole time. When Raj announced to take a break for dinner, nobody left the dance floor. DJ Amlan and MC Raj kept everyone pumped and engaged the whole time.

DJ Raj Entertainment is very professional and organized. They always communicated on timely manner and helped me out with picking songs for entrances as well as guiding me through the entire process . They were incredibly professional and helpful. Our Reception hall was transformed above and beyond our expectation to a magical dance club.

We highly recommend! Thank you guys so much for helping make our special day a blast that can’t be forgotten. Our friends keep asking if we can re-do the wedding as they were all sad for the night of dancing to end.

DJ Raj Entertainment is so flexible with their client. On top of the punctuality, they are hands down the best sound and lighting company I've come across. Raj guided us through the process, and his team members were all helpful throughout the event. We were stressed but they were able to relieve us of so much. We didn't feel it necessary to constantly check on them and make sure things were going smoothly because it was clear that all the events were smooth. They go the extra mile and I would absolutely re-book. I plan on recommending them to all my friends and family and hope they become our family DJ. The best services!

Our experience with Raj Gandhi was excellent, from the process of hiring him and even after the event, he was honest, willing to help and provided the best services!! He was an awesome MC from the baraat to the reception he was fun and well spoken!! The DJ was also on point with all his mixes VJ's music selection was great. DJ Raj came very highly recommended from a lot of friends/friends, so I decided to have him DJ at my brother’s reception. He was very patient and took the time to help me understand all the different packages he had to offer. Knowing what I was looking for, he helped me select the best package for the event. Unfortunately, my brother and his fiancé decided to call off the wedding three weeks before the D day. Although DJ Raj was contractually not obligated to refund me any money, he was gracious and kind enough to offer me a full refund. This kind gesture speaks volume of his personality and kindness, something which is a rare find in today’s entertainment business. Thanks very very much DJ Raj. Your kindness during this tough time is truly appreciated and commendable. I can only imagine what a great job you would have done on the Reception night. We just weren’t fortunate enough to experience that.

I hired DJ Raj and his crew for my wedding and was extremely pleased with how everything went so smoothly and without a hitch. The slideshow presentations, processional music, emcee'ing etc was absolutely wonderful! I am very meticulous about every little detail, and he made sure everything went perfectly. When it came time for my sister's wedding several years later, we hired him and he impressed us once again. Fast forward almost 10 years later when it came time for my brother's wedding, we looked him up, contacted him and I told my family we couldn't use anyone else but him for this wedding. As was expected, Raj and his crew were awesome in listening to every detail, executing our complicated ideas we had regarding entrances perfectly, did a fabulous job with lighting and made sure to play the best music and keep everyone dancing till the end! So many people asked us about our DJ, and my other family members have booked him as well. DJ Raj Entertainment put on an amazing night for our wedding. After a consultation from Amlan, we knew we were in the right hands. We asked for songs to be played for our ceremony and without question, DJ Amlan set up his equipment with our songs for an outdoor winter wedding with a frozen lake in the background in 30 degree weather. That alone says serious commitment to their clients.

As for Emcee Raj, he really knew how to get everyone up and dancing. I have been to many weddings before but I have never felt so much energy from a crowd like at our wedding. You can tell that the DJ and Emcee can read a crowd like a book and know exactly how to make you use ever dance muscle that you never had. If you want to change a song, if you want to end a dance at a specific time, you can give them a nod and they will know to change the mood.

Overall, the one thing I can say to summarize their work is what I am still hearing over a month after our wedding. You had the absolute best DJ I’ve ever heard.

My husband and I first heard about DJ Raj from a friend of ours. She used him for her wedding and had an amazing wedding becase of it so I knew it would definitely be the right choice because everyone could not stop talking about it. The two things guests will critique about are food and music. If the music isn't right, your guests won't have a great time. We also heard about another DJ company used by many people I knew however comparing costs, DJ Raj's prices were unbeatable. It was crazy how much more people spent on the other DJ when DJ Raj charged a fraction of the price. Raj also helped choose a plan suitable for our wedding. If you have the money to splurge, definitely use the starlight dance floor. It is so worth it! Our guests loved it! It made the room pop and everything so beautiful. Raj also helped us when it came to issues we had with another vendor. He got us in touch with a friend of his in case this other vendor did not show up and the friend offered to help us out for free in case an issue did come up. We asked him why for free and he said Raj is a really good friend of his so he'll do whatever he wants. DJ Amlan is also AMAZING. I wanted to create a surpise dance mix for my husband and Amlan was able to do whatever I asked for and had no problems with it. They are both so kind and will always take care of their clients. Because of them, our wedding was the best wedding everyone went to. People could not stop talking about how amazing it was. I highly recommend them!

I knew Raj and his team were great based on my sisters wedding so picking a DJ for our wedding was a no brainer. We knew the day my husband and I decided we were getting married we would pick DJ RAJ. We had heard about him from so many people and had attended parties where they DJ’ed. You would think if you hire a DJ, they will just come and DJ and that’s it. That is definitely NOT the case when you hire DJ RAJ. You hire DJ RAJ, you get everything. Best music, MC, lighting, projections, tvs… and the list goes on.

From day one Raj was extremely helpful and our main point of contact for literally everything we needed. Usually any vendor would try to sell you as many things as possible, but not with DJ RAJ. He helped us save money everywhere even if it would be below our budget. That did not compromise quality ever. He made a custom package just for us exactly how we wanted it.

Going in we didn’t exactly know what we wanted and who to go to. Raj has a lot of experience in this industry, which is why he is already known as one of the best. If I had a question about decorators, wedding planners, venues or even the elephant for my wedding, my first stop was him and by the second month into my wedding planning, he became my first and only stop as I saw his recommendations were the best and cost friendly.

As guests were leaving our wedding, the most asked question of the day was “Oh my god. Who was your DJ?”. Honestly, I have never seen my grandmother stay on the dance floor that long. The music was amazing from start to finish and I honestly thought that was not possible. DJ Smith killed it. He catered to my Indian relatives and to my friends and co-workers. I would never go to any other DJ after having DJ Smith…can’t go back to anything else.

In general, the baraat was perfect...from the music to the MC and dhol, we had never seen a baraat quite like this. I wanted the absolute BEST for our wedding and I knew that DJ Raj Entertainment would provide the best entertainment/music that I was looking for my event. June 5, 2016! The wedding hall and the dance floor were totally transformed by Raj and Amlan, by far the BEST DJ / MC combo in the world! Hands down and NO questions asked! We were amazed at the magical manner that this duo planned out our evening. On the day of, if anyone was to glance at the tables, at any given time from the start to the end, they were all empty ...... why?? EVERY ONE, and I mean, every one of our guests was on the floor, having a fantastic time of their lives. Our evening was full of energy, knocking at all of our 5 senses, like when you are looking at Niagara falls!
Right from the beginning, Raj, the owner, impressed us with his professional attitude, easy to work manner and patience to answer all our questions. Amlan, I can go on raving for a mile, but simply put, he has MAGIC at his fingertips! Our guests could not stop themselves, but be there on the floor. They both are very handsome looking too!

We are so glad we went with DJ Raj for our wedding. The music for the entrances and dances was seamless and once the dance floor opened up, people were there the entire time! We also used his services for the "Step&Repeat" photo booth which turned out really well.

DJ Raj’s team was incredible in every aspect. To start, they worked on very tight deadlines in producing our first dance mixtape and implementing our song requests for the wedding, we are very appreciative of their effort in making that happen. On the day of, we had MC Jesse conduct our Baraat. Frankly, he was just OUTSTANDING. Given that the Baraat is the opening ceremony, it was critical to get the energy levels up of all of our guests and MC Jesse exceeded all expectations here. He was outstanding in getting all of our guests to dance, and along with the amazing music played, it turned out to be one of the key highlights of our wedding. I had many guests mention to me afterwards how fantastic our MC was and they also asked if I could supply them with the music list. DJ Amlan was equally top-notch. It was clear he is extremely experienced, both technically and creatively. He played traditional Chinese music to our Chinese tea ceremony perfectly, and you could see him in the booth diligently operating the music to the nanosecond to ensure that it matched perfectly with the moment. MC Jesse also did an excellent job in introducing our wedding parties and announcing our speakers, pronouncing some very difficult names perfectly and creating a ton of energy to really get the night going. Finally, the music during the dance party at the end was completely on point. DJ Amlan incorporated our requests perfectly but also integrated so many other songs to raise the energy level of our guests at all the perfect moments. Again, I had many guests specifically tell me how they loved the DJ and the Music at our event. It’s clear their equipment is also all fully state of the art. We are extremely thankful to DJ Raj’s team for putting together an incredible event.

Amlan from DJ Raj Entertainment is an old friend, so of course we reached out to him to make our wedding extra special. He took care of every detail so that we were totally at ease the day of the wedding - this included our chair rental, lighting, ceremony & reception music, and a photo booth. Our DJ the day of, Sagar, was so friendly, energetic and professional! He made a point to take our personal taste into account, as well as take requests from our guests. Overall, we had a really wonderful and stress-free experience, and our guests are still raving about the music.

DJ Raj and his team were absolutely amazing to work with during the planning process, but their execution during the wedding was even better! The Baraat was absolutely incredible. So many of my guests commented that it was the best Baraat they'd ever seen. Many of them even say it was the highlight of the entire wedding weekend! All we asked of DJ Raj was to keep the dance floor packed all night, and that's exactly what he and DJ Amlan did. Aside from dinner, the guests couldn't stay off the dance floor. The team is so easy to work with in addition to being extremely professional and responsive. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to get the crowd pumped up!

I used DJ Raj for both our engagement party and wedding. Amlan was our DJ for both events and he was amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests on the DJ. Our MC was Jesse for our wedding. He was amazing! He got the crowd going, was professional, outgoing and friendly...we couldn't be happier! The MC and DJ really help set the tone for the wedding, and they did an amazing job at our events. Our dance floor was packed all night! We couldn't be happier.

Absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend DJ Raj and his team for any event. I cannot tell you how many of our guests complimented my husband and I on the music selection, lighting, and entertainment. DJ RAJ and Amlan did an awesome job at my wedding and reception. Honestly, out of all the vendors I have dealth with, for my wedding, dealing with DJ Raj was the smoothest of all! From the time the jaan started until we had to clear out the reception hall, our party was amazing. Not one of my family members or friends stopped dancing. Raj was an excellent MC and I couldn't speak any more highly of Amlan who was our DJ. Amlan knew exactly what kind of music to play and how to keep the party going from morning to night. We had DJ Amlan and MC Raj for our wedding festivities in Aug 2014 and they were absolutely amazing!! From the Bharat to the end of the reception, they kept everyone dancing the whole time! Everyone has told us multiple times that the Bharat and reception were the most fun they have had at a wedding and the most they have danced. The duo kept everyone pumped and engaged the whole time. We communicated with Raj to organize everything for the wedding and he was incredibly professional and helpful. He always responded to emails and phone calls promptly and answered all of our questions. They delivered everything that we had agreed on in out contract. They were on time for all of the events and well prepared. We ended up changing things to the Sangeet program last minute and both DJ Amlan and MC Raj were so understanding. Working with both of them was such a pleasure! We had no worries! We would HIGHLY recommend them and would absolutely work with them again! Thank you guys so much for helping make our wedding such a blast!!

Dj Ohm was fantastic and the best sindhi dj. He needs to be marketed well just because this boy has SKILLS. Hands down best wedding dj. Me and my husband loved his hybrid skills playing everything we request and of course his very own set. Before I got married I met DJ Ohm in Dubai playing at my cousins wedding the chandrimani family. Raj good job by getting the young talent on your team. We booked DJ Raj Entertainment for my sister's wedding back in 2011, and they did an amazing job. When it came to planning my wedding, my family immediately knew that we wanted to book them again! Luckily, since we booked a full year in advance, we were able to book DJ Raj himself (we had a different MC for my sister's wedding who was also excellent). DJ Raj did a great job with the lighting for both our Sangeet and Wedding. He even found a certain type of string light that I wanted for our Sangeet venue, which he didn't already have. DJ Raj also found us the BEST henna artists - I was so happy with the intricate design they did and it lasted for almost a month. Raj also helped us rent the chairs for our mandaap, since our florist wasn't able to find any for a reasonable price.
My wedding was a fusion wedding (my husband is Jewish American) - and DJ Raj did a great job of playing a mix of music - both Bollywood and Top 40 - and even worked with me to find a fun mashup of Hebrew songs so that we could do the hora at our reception. He was also great at keeping the dance floor full - I told him I didn't want there to a single slow song so that everyone in the room always felt invited on the dance floor. His team also had a full list of suggestions for processional music for when we walked down the aisle - I wasn't sure how I would find instrumentals that would be appropriate, but he had quite a few.
Raj & his team were extremely responsive, always responding to all emails and willing to hop on the phone on off-hours. He even visited both my venues in advance for walk-throughs to create lighting proposals.
All in all, my entire family was happy to be repeat customers and would definitely recommend their services.

DJ Raj & DJ Amlan played amazing music at our reception. I cannot remember a second where the dance floor wasn't full of people the entire night! The music was on point the entire night. Our guests have told us what a great time they had dancing & it was all due to the both of them!

I would like to add that everyone at DJ Raj CARES. They sincerely care about the success of your event. They will provide original ideas and pursue sometimes more difficult (for them) avenues if they believe it would benefit your party.

Their music selection is top notch, up-to-date, and are expeditious when handling requests. Only someone who cares could provide this with consistency.

We had several changes in our plan during the reception and DJ Raj handled it with considerable aplomb.

I'm so happy to know I can count on them in the future for all of my DJ and lighting needs. Now if only I could find a good bakery....

I hired Raj & his team for my Indian & American wedding - which were planned all the same day. They provided audio equipment, barrat dohl player, background music for indian lunch - then for our evening american wedding - they provided lighting & DJ music.

Raj & his team worked flawlessly all day. I never even met or heard from them all day until our evening reception. They were set-up on time for the barrat & got the party started! The indian ceremony & lunch were set up perfectly. The lighting at our american reception & ceremony in the evening was great - and really looked spectacular in the space.

At our reception - we had a huge mix of cultures - we had american & indian people - and everyone was dancing - it was a like a huge dance party the whole night. We really had the best time & are very thankful for Raj & his team!

DJ Raj was absolutely wonderful to work with! From the moment we met Raj, his outgoing personality and easy going nature had sold on DJ Raj’s services.
Always responsive to emails and phone calls, no matter what time of day. Very helpful with planning the events of the day and the song choices. Very patient and always professional … especially in those last few “Bridezilla” weeks leading up to the wedding.
On wedding day could not have been more perfect! Everything flowed so smoothly, everyone was laughing and having a great time. Little did I know how much the DJ affects the mood of a wedding – Dj Raj was awesome! – we had people dancing we had never seen dance! A great time had by all and we have to thank DJ Raj.

We had DJ Raj Entertainment do our lighting and DJ at our Wedding. They made our venue look exactly the way we wanted it with the purple lighting and just made it the fairytale I was imagining! The music was AMAZING. DJ Amlan did such an amazing job with music selection and played everything we wanted! MC James really kept the crowd going and everyone was dancing. If you want the party started and guests involved throughout the event, then DJ Raj Entertaintment is definitely who you need to hire. He was involved in every event of our wedding weekend, and there was nothing but great music and dancing throughout. He has a great ear and sense of what the crowd wants. From the Baraat to our Reception, our guests danced the night away and enjoyed the celebration. We are still receiving so many compliments from our guests. DJ Raj we absolutely love you!

Edgar and I wanted to thank you for the awesome job your crew provided for our wedding in Wichita! Your team was very professional, flexible, and detail oriented - definitely one of the best wedding decisions we made. The music, lighting, and MCing were fantastic and really set the mood and created the perfect atmosphere for the celebration. We had a lot of guests comment on how lively and entertaining our baraat and reception were in large part because of the way you got everyone involved and engaged with the music selection and MCing - we had a variety of people and cultures at the wedding and everyone had so much fun partying all night long. We highly recommend you and your staff to everyone!

DJ RAJ Entertainment & Event Lighting did a great job at our Sangeet and wedding celebrations! Our events were in New Orleans and Raj Gandhi personally came with his staff, they rocked all the events with a packed dance floor and thier lighting design was amazing! The events were perfect, Raj is a great MC, the DJ was great at mixing Indian and American music! Raj was a little expensive but now that I look back it was worth the price, they provide quality work.

I used DJ Raj for my wedding on 11/16/12 and his service was top notch. He played just the right type of music to get the crowd going and kept the night moving along. He was able to accommodate any requests we wanted and we were also able to use a few songs that we wanted on a USB as it was not easy to find elsewhere on a CD or on the internet. DJ Raj always came to my appointments on time and responded to any of my concerns or requests. I knew of him from my friend's wedding and I liked him so much I hired him for my own! Although he specializes in Indian weddings, neither myself nor my husband is Indian and we still felt that the music selection was exactly what we wanted it to be. I'd highly recommend him to any bride!

Amazing!!!! Simply Amazing! I don't know what else to say. Sagar, the MC at our wedding was simply amazing. Our DJ was also utterly outstanding. Raj, the owner of company, was easy to work with. He promised us the world, and you know what, he delivered! How often does that happen? Our wedding presented some challenges for any DJ. I'm Indian and my husband is Jewish..so, we had to merge cultures, music, etc. with a very multicultural guest list. Secondly, we had our wedding in an amazing venue that was very large.....but...we only had 120 guests. We knew our MC had to be strong to keep the guests from wandering about. Wow....was our MC strong. The dance floor was packed all night long. Sager and his DJ read the crowd, they improvised when necessary and stuck to the original plan when necessary. I don't know what else to say...they were perfect. They were absolutely perfect.
