Great DJ and selected awesome dancing music for the reception!
DJ Raffi was excellent! He met with us on several occasions within the 2 weeks prior to the wedding to finalize everything and make sure we were comfortable with the flow of events and song selection. Also he was very responsive to e-mails which was greatly appreciated and even provided wedding timeline suggestions, as he is very experienced and knowledgable. For the reception, I didn't provide too many specific song suggestions for dancing. The songs he chose for the reception were awesome - though we had selected a few slow songs for the reception, he read the vibe of the room and pivoted by instead playing only dancing music. This was exactly what was needed and made for such a fun night as we danced the entire night. -

The best DJ!
Raffi did a great job for my wedding in April. He was super attentive throughout the planning process and made sure to accurately capture the details. Very flexible when scheduling time to connect on playlist and other details. I also had a band and he coordinated really well with them to make sure both band and dj worked seamlessly together. He also created the most beautiful uplighting that tied everything nicely together. A must hire! -

Stop your search and just call Raffi!
Having the right DJ at your wedding can make or break your night and Raffi absolutely crushed it! I've worked in the event industry for almost 15 years at this point and Raffi's expertise and professionalism exceeded his reputation.
It can be tough to read the vibes in the room and know when to switch up the beats and Raffi absolutely delivered keeping the dance floor PACKED all night! His diverse ability to go from 90 electronic to 80s pop to Middle Eastern mixes to 2000s rock songs had everyone from all ages out there having a blast! A ton of guests at our wedding commented on how well Raffi did which speaks volumes of his ability to keep everyone engaged and energetic which can be tough based on other events we've been to.
We also decided to go with Raffi for the lighting and at our first look, our jaws dropped at how well he did at transforming the room into the perfect atmosphere for our special day!
We cannot recommend Raffi enough and are looking for another excuse to have him MC our next event! Thanks again! -

Best Ever!
What makes an amazing, unforgetting wedding? An AMAZING, unforgettable DJ! We used DJ Raffi as a DJ and his lighting services and he was way more than what we could've asked for. We had an American/ Armenian wedding and he did such an incredible job incorporating the two, as we asked. He went above and beyond to make our wedding so memorable. He is most certainly well experienced and a true professional and knows how to read the crowd. The lighting was also perfect. We had so many compliments and a few people said he was the best DJ they've ever heard at a wedding! We can't thank Raffi and his assistant enough for going above and beyond making our May 2021 wedding day so perfect! We highly recommend DJ Raffi and his services! -

I hired Raffi for my wedding a few years ago and have hired him again for an upcoming event I am having. If that isn't a sign of a satisfied customer, I'm not sure what is! He is flexible, easy to work with and has a great eye. For my wedding he managed all of the audio capabilities, hired a string quartet, and coordinated the tent decor and lighting. Everything turned out just as I had hoped and I was very happy. We had a very specific playlist in mind and he was absolutely willing to accommodate. As I said we plan to use him again in a few weeks and are happy to very highly recommend him to others. -

?We were referred to Raffi by a family member who had used his services many times. Our first appointment couldn't have gone any smoother, we discussed with him which genres of music we would like played at our wedding reception. He was very accommodating to all our requests, he also provided all the interior and exterior lighting for the venue and he even provided a dry ice machine to give a fog effect for our first dance. He is a perfectionist in all he did. Overall, Raffi met all our needs while providing a touch of class and professionalism.

DJ Raffi is very professional and is always willing to go over the schedule of the wedding carefully with the couple. He always listens to requests and his prices are very reasonable. His up lighting/ dance lighting is beautiful and are a nice touch for weddings. I highly recommend him. :) -

Raffi was awesome to work with for my wedding. He met and talked with me over the phone and in person multiple times and has had so much experience with weddings and music, that he always has amazing suggestions. I was so happy that I was able to rely on him and trust his judgement for things and they came out better than I imaged! He also transformed my venue with up lighting as well as projected our names onto the wall. He knows exactly how to make the night flow smoothly.
I could not recommend Raffi more! He was excellent to work with and made our wedding night so special! -

We had a wonderful experience with Raffi at our wedding! He DJed my brother's wedding 8 years ago, did a phenomenal job then and en even better job at our weddingearlier this month! The music selection that he played was absolutely perfect and the mixes were flawless. But that wasn't very surprising to us since Raffi was very pleasant and professional to work with since day 1. He was quick to respond and very knowledgeable and a great pleasure to work with all around.
Our Photographer left a little early which was a bummer because there were some key moments that hadn't been captured, but lo and behold, Raffi in fact captured those pics with his DSLR from behind the DJ Table and emailed us the pictures the next day! The pics were perfect! We couldn't believe our eyes!
All in all, I would highly recommend DJ Raffi to any couple getting married! He is so professional, organized and good at what he does, that I can assure you, that as long as you tell him what you want, he will make your wedding an absolute blasts for you and all your friends and family. -

From start to finish DJ Raffi was very responsive and professional. I told him what I was looking for and he made it happen seamlessly. As well as DJ services, he also did some beautiful up-lighting to give my reception hall a nice ambiance. The dance floor was packed the entire night and many of my guests complimented me on the music. I would definitely recommend him for any event. -

amazing, the dancefloor was never empty, even minutes before the end of the 6 hr reception, when we had 25-30 out of the 250 guests invited, they were all dancing. I would highly Recomend Raffi for anything you want people to party and dance at -

Raffi is amazing! He did a great job with sound/audio for our ceremony as well as an even more amazing job with playing music during our reception. We had both a band and Raffi - and they worked so great together!
Raffi is very professional, has amazing knowledge in the wedding world, and knows how to keep your guests on the dance floor.

We worked with Raffi for our wedding and would highly recommend him. Many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and I know that part of the reason why was the fantastic music.
He met with us in advance to get to know us a bit, listened to our ideas for music, and importantly what we wanted for the "feel of the day" After that he put together a fun playlist that got people of all ages up there dancing. He was absolutely professional, nothing corny or too much chatter (as we had requested). We were glad we had our caterer clear plenty of room for dancing -- everyone had such a blast dancing to his songs! -

I was very impressed with the DJ services provided by Raffi. We (bride, groom, and mother-of-the-bride) met briefly before the wedding and went over all of the information Raffi would need for the reception. Not only were the bride and groom pleased, but there were many compliments received by guests who, like me, appreciated the classy way in which he performed during the reception. He kept the focus on the bride and groom and their guests and did not try to make himself the center of attention. The music was not too loud and the mix of music selections was just perfect. -

We were very pleased with DJ Raffi. He met with us to discuss what music we wanted and made excellent suggestions for music and the flow of events for the receptions. This was our first time with Dj Raffi, and I must say it will certainly not be our last. His music had our students dancing all night! He was easy to work with and had no trouble keeping our students (and staff) engaged all night. I can’t wait to bring Dj Raffi back for more events! -

DJ Raffi provided us with music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing along with uplighting for dancing. Raffi is very professional which is the type of DJ we were looking for. He was there to provide those services for us, make announcements when needed, but didn't over step with games or improv.
He brought a few different sound systems and an assistant in order to accommodate all the different parts of the day. This costs a little more, but it is totally worth it! Everything was set up and ready to go - he wasn't moving equipment throughout the night (which I have seen other DJ's doing at weddings ive attended in the past.)
I think my favorite part was the uplighting he provided. We used it in the room where dancing took place, and it really transformed that room! The lighting made the room feel so warm and it looked so fun around the dance floor. People seemed in awe when they walked into the ballroom after dinner! He even had this special light that made the ceiling look like the night sky. It felt like we were dancing under the stars!! -

What can we say, DJ Raffi and his crew are the BEST! I wanted a dance party and that's exactly what we got! I felt guilty for not spending enough time with my guests because I was on the dance floor all night! Guess that's a good thing!
We've seen Raffi at other weddings and knew that he was who we would want if we ever got married! He has a wonderful presence, he's professional, kind, up to date on the music scene. An absolute pleasure! Highly recommend him. -

My husband and I loved working with DJ Raffi. He was very professional and met with us several times to discuss our music choices. He also helped coordinate musicians for our ceremony (string trio). He had many great ideas and gave us guidance on song choices. The reception music was perfect and he kept everyone dancing all night. Many of our guests commented on the great job he did. Raffi is AMAZING!!!!!!! He created the most beautiful atmosphere with lighting and filled it with just the right blend of funky, eclectic music. Everything he did was done perfectly. The dining hour volume was perfect. Speakers were presented flawlessly. Best of all, the dance floor was packed the whole night- he has this amazing ability to read the crowd and give them just what they want! Raffi truly went above and beyond- he spoiled us rotten and even had a special surprise for us the night of the wedding! He made us feel like he was genuinely happy for us and honored to be a part of the day, and that was so incredibly special to us. If you want a DJ that will give you not only what you want but what you NEED to make your wedding a PARTY that your guests will remember, look no further than Raffi! -

DJ Raffi definitely provided the perfect soundtrack to our magical event. He followed the list of songs provided as well as the flow of the night that we had discussed with no issues. He was able to read the crowd and provide the right music to keep the party at a great pace. I know I had guests that never left the dance floor!
I have to say that I was skeptical about doing enhanced lighting but I have to say that it turned out to provide just the right added mood to our beautiful outside event. Although it can be pricey, DJ Raffi worked with my planner to provide exceptional service at a price my parents could afford.
If you want a DJ that will contact you multiple times to make sure you are comfortable with what is planned for your event as well as to walk through the timing and flow of the formal parts of the reception, I truly recommend going with DJ Raffi. -

Raffi was our DJ at my daughter's wedding March 19th, and we couldn't be more happy with the results! Raffi was professional and very organized while working together on our playlist. As a result, the music was a hit with all our guests! Raffi did a fabulous job at playing tunes from our list, but also reading the crowd and selecting tunes that kept the party rocking the entire night - the dance floor was literally bursting at the seams!! FYI, we also hired Vahe (Raffi's brother) to be our videographer - which we can't wait to see. Outstanding music. He had 200 friends and family dancing the night away - in an uplit, magical tent last Summer for a wedding reception at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Mass. Everyone said the music was outstanding. He appealed all ages. His pre-production work makes a difference in the selection of the music. He's also an outstanding professional onsite and knows all the technical aspects of sights and sounds. We would highly recommend him. -

When it came time for my daughter's wedding I wanted a live band, however, my daughter and future son-in-law wanted a DJ. Reluctantly I went to the meeting to meet DJ Raffi and after a few minutes I knew he was the person to do the entertainment at our wedding. He is understated and elegant and absolutely loves everything to do with the wedding industry. Not only did he do the music, he did the uplighting at the reception, arranged for the string trio at the church and the combo band for the cocktail hour. Of all the vendors we had I feel he offers you a lot for what he charges and he is so easy to work with. During dinner he played soft music, so that everyone could talk easily and during the dancing he read our crowd so well that EVERYONE was on the dance floor. So professional and a joy to work with! -

We absolutely loved our DJ for our wedding in August. We had Vasken and he was so great at really playing what we wanted and always keeping us in his line of sight during the evening so we were always on the same page. We also had a monogram light of our names that they had on the dance floor and then moved to the ceiling that all of our guests were talking about and admiring! We were extremely pleased with this company! -

Dj Raffi was amazing. He provided all the music and lighting at our wedding. He is so classy. He had everyone on the dance floor but avoided all the cheesiness. He was so invested in the wedding. Not only did he get the people inside dancing and having a good time, he also made sure to put me at ease everytime he sensed (through emails and phone calls) that I was stressing out. DJ Raffi was the ABSOLUTE best!!! I am a self-employed bride who made a concentrated effort to get vendors that were extremely capable without needing much direction. professional, and easy to work with. I met with DJ Raffi twice ( on my schedule) to make sure that everything was arranged, gave him no more than 5 songs to play that were important to me ( ie. 1st dance, father/daughter, etc) and let him pick the rest.... and it couldnt have been more perfect! He had the whole tent dancing on a rainy Sunday afternoon.... my Great-Uncle even threw down his cane and started boogeying....I couldnt have asked for anything better. He even found a Bob Marley cover of "Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies because I mentioned once that I love Bob Marley.... If thats not great service, I dont know what is.... I promise you will not be disappointed if you pick him to play your wedding! -

We used DJ Raffi for our wedding on September 6th and couldn't be happier with our choice. He's incredibly professional, well spoken, and classy... just what we were looking for. Even the manager at the yacht club where we had our reception complimented our choice in a DJ. It's not easy to find DJs who can read a crowd as diverse as our friends/family and find something to play for everyone. I guess that's why he's won Best of Boston for his work! -

DJ Raffi gave us the personalized wedding experience we needed. We were looking for a DJ to be heard but not seen, to play our own playlist to which he happily obliged. Raffi took care of all the communication with the event organizer and made sure that everything was set up as needed. He is very kind and wants to make sure that his clients are satisfied. We had a difficult time finding a DJ for our wedding, but were glad that Bob. M (through DJ Raffi) was available. He did a great job! They are very organized and make it easy to complete a timeline and list of songs to be played for the ceremony/reception. Everything went smoothly. He really had people dancing (my Mom, who isn't known for her dancing, said she's never danced so much at a wedding before). He was able to incorporate things on the spot (it was a friend's bday, so he played happy birthday). Also, many of my family are from PA and it's a joke to play a polka at family weddings - a tradition I forgot about - and he was able to find a polka song and everyone danced to it. He was very easy going and great to work with. I'd recommend him! -

Music was on point the whole day. DJ Raffi asked for our song list for the ceremony and reception in advance. We filled out the form he sent us and provided links to our playlists on Spotify. The groom asked for a song change the week of the wedding and DJ Raffi made the change with no trouble. We also went with a lighting package that was customized to fit in with our wedding colors during our first dance and multi colors during the reception. We had a mix of genres in our playlists, r&b, techno, hip hop, pop. It was great to have something for everyone. It would have been nice to have more smooth transition between the different songs as I've heard mixes where two songs are meshed a bit before transitioning to the next song. DJ Raffi also did a great job of playing all the songs that we requested for the ceremony. We requested a last song that did not quite fit the mood and DJ Raffi added a fun song afterwards to send us off right! Overall great service, we loved dancing to the variety of music, and the lighting was beautiful. -

DJ Raffi was awesome!! We gave him a very strict playlist, which he adhered to, and he still had fun with the evening. He was very professional when it came to introductions and moving the evening along.

Great to work with, had the floor full all night! He was always watching my husband and I to make sure we were happy. The lighting was wonderful too. It changed colors through out the songs! Very nice- DJ Raffi himself was unavailable, so we got his brother instead. He was pleasant, professional and was well keyed-in to the kind of music and atmosphere we wanted. All we had to do was send a sample list of songs (to help them figure out the mood) and the MP3 for the more obscure song we wanted to close the wedding with. As a result, we got the right mood and lots of dancing, just as we wanted. -

We hired DJ Raffi for our outdoor rooftop cocktail hour and indoor wedding reception on June 18, 2011 in Boston. From the beginning, Raffi was flexible and easy to work with. He had ideas for my wedding that I never would have thought of myself. He offered up-lighting which we added and it made all the difference in the world. Additionally, the star lighting on the ceiling truly enhanced the ambiance. We worked with Raffi before the big day to select different music genres for each portion of the night. Working with DJ Raffi Productions was very smooth and easy. Raffi was responsive and helpful and his website was informative and easy to navigate. Both the initial meeting and the planing meeting before our wedding were super helpful in choosing both the music for the reception and the lighting. Both Raffi and Jack, the actual DJ at our wedding, were professional and prepared. They made great suggestions and worked with us to come up with a great music list within our tastes. The music at the reception was great, the dance floor was packed, and we received tons of comments from guests on how great both the music and the lighting were.
