"The best music at a wedding ever!" - Our Guests

Hiring DJ Mike was the best decision we made! The music was one of the most important parts of our wedding. We had a destination wedding, so we had to 100% trust the reviews of others online, and we are so glad we found Mike. The dance floor was NEVER empty. So many of our guests have said we had the best music at any wedding they have attended! We appreciated so much that the music was actually mixed with transitions like a true DJ. It created such a fun club vibe. Beyond that, Mike had so many great add-ons that truly enhanced the party experience. We included CO2 canons, Cold Sparklers, Photobooth, Ceremony Music, and a Saxophonist. Our Saxophonist, Ryan, was incredible. Mike went to great lengths to try and find someone for us, and we really appreciated it, and our guests loved the addition of an instrument! The cherry on top of all of that is that Mike went the extra mile, helping us create a mix with audio overlay for the entrances that was so awesome and truly got the party started. Mike was professional, had great suggestions, was quick to respond, and was always happy to help! If you are looking for your DJ, stop reading and book Mike. You won't regret it.

He's a 10000/10!!!

We got married at The Lookout at Hope Lake in Cortland, NY exactly one month ago and it was seriously the best day of our lives. A huge contribution to that was DJ Mike Melice and what an amazing job he did, I mean the dance floor was PACKED from start to finish and everyone had the best time ever! Professional, Caring and Thorough DJ!

We cannot recommend DJ Mike enough! Throughout the planning process Mike was organized, sending emails frequently as we hit major timeline milestones (6 months, 3 months, 60 days etc). He provided great direction and was very straightforward with his expectations. Mike was very flexible and it was a pleasure to work him with. He cared about the details, ran through information with us, our venue, our officiant and others which all went very well. We booked Mike because of his background in nightclub DJing which is how we wanted our dance floor to feel. Had our wedding day not been nearly 90 degrees all day, I think we would have had even more guests enjoying the dance floor. If you're looking for a professional DJ, who's organized, timely and knowledgeable with a background in mixing and getting the party started, please choose DJ Mike Melice!

DJ Mike was absolutely incredible! He kept the dance floor packed all night and brought such amazing energy to the entire celebration at Dutch Harvest Farm in Lansing, NY. The planning process was super easy and organized, which made us feel confident going into the big day knowing everything would be just right. Best dj ever

DJ Mike Melice is 10/10 AMAZING!!! From our first phone call to our wedding day, he was nothing short of incredible. He listened to exactly what my husband and I wanted, made our dreams and SO much more come true. He is so down to earth and so easy to work with/talk to. Our venue was a place he had never been before, and he did his research to make sure he brought all his speakers to fit our space. Our wedding was in November and our guests are STILL talking about how amazing the music and DJ Mike was. We cannot recommend DJ Mike Melice enough. DJ Mike made our dream wedding come true. Consulting, planning and execution was smooth from start to finish. The organization on his end to ours was fantastic and even during the wedding he kept things running smoothly with everything happening around us. Mike played exactly what we hoped for and the dance floor was full the entire night!!! The music transitions were flawless and he read the dance floor perfectly, every age group danced the night away. Even the minor details during the ceremony didn’t go unnoticed. To top it off we chose dancing on clouds for our first dance and it was beyond magical, we also chose the Photo Booth and our guests raved over it and we now have photos of each guest to cherish forever. Mike was perfect. We were so excited to have him based on other reviews and feedback, and let me tell you, he delivered!! The dance floor was packed all night. We received countless compliments on him. From the ceremony to cocktail hour, to dinner and reception, the music fit the occasion. Additionally, his transitions between songs were flawless. Our wedding with DJ Mike Melice was truly unforgettable, leaving us and our guests in awe. From the moment we reached out to inquire about their services, the communication was seamless and professional. Mike was incredibly accommodating to our music preferences and even took the time to understand our unique style, ensuring that the playlist for our reception was spot on.

On the day of the wedding, DJ Mike Melice arrived early to set up and was ready to go, contributing to the smooth flow of the evening. Throughout the night, the music selection was on point, keeping everyone on the dance floor and creating an amazing atmosphere. The way he interacted with our guests and took song requests added a personal touch that we truly appreciated.

While everything went smoothly during the event, there were a couple of moments where transitions between songs felt slightly abrupt. It wasn't a major issue, but it did catch our attention. We Danced ALL Night

I cannot say enough good things about DJ Mike! He understood our vision from the very beginning. We ended up booking him before our venue. Sadly, our first venue closed but Mike was one of the first people to check in on us and offer us other venue suggestions. He was excited throughout the entire process and was supportive when we decided on our final rooftop venue. The guests were highly impressed with several people asking for Mike's information to share with their friends. The music was incredible as well as the night club lighting and photo booth. DJ Mike made our night a night to truly remember!

Worth every penny

Mike was the best DJ that I have ever seen at a wedding! Everyone loved him and constantly complimented how good he was. His song choices and song transitions were so good! He is very obviously talented- he was even able to get my dad to dance! Mike was worth every single penny and more. I'm so happy that I chose him as my DJ. MIKE IS AMAZING!! I wanted to take a minute to express my appreciation and respect for him. From the very beginning he was attentive and paid close attention to all of the details. Beyond Expectations - Simply Amazing

To say Mike was a 5/5 is an understatement. I'm so glad we found you while searching around for DJs local to our venue - we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Your website is pretty amazing too! It really made us feel like we could dictate as little or as much as we wanted - and we were pretty specific with our song choices for the ones that were super important to us!

You were so quick with responses and never made me feel silly for asking all of my questions! You were attentive, responsive, so knowledgeable, and allowed us to make the day what we wanted! It's almost been a full month and people still talk about how awesome you are!!

The dance floor was never empty, the Social Booth was a HUGE hit, and the monogram was amazing - and to think that was something we just added last minute to fill the spot! The up lighting was perfect - the songs, the way you melded them altogether - we couldn't have asked for more. A comment I got from almost everyone was they LOVED that you never let one song end before the other began - there was no awkward silences or times people didn't want to be out there! Thank you, for everything and really blowing our expectations out of the water. We didn't know what to expect but got more than we could have ever asked for!!

Best day ever

Mike DJ’d our wedding on September 9th and was absolutely AMAZING. Our dance floor was quite literally packed all night long and he had people so hyped up that no one wanted him to leave. The professionalism from the time of booking to our actual wedding day was more than I could have ever expected. He went above and beyond to make sure we got every request we asked for and communicated so well with us the entire time.

We weren’t even going to have a DJ originally, however I was lucky enough to book him on a cancellation (thank you to whoever cancelled because it was hands down the best choice we made for our entire wedding). I have dreamed about Mike being the DJ at my wedding for years, so to be able to book him was truly a dream come true and it completely elevated the overall experience of our wedding for us and our guests. Everyone especially loved our “dancing on the clouds” first dance. It was breathtaking. There are no other DJ’s like him around here so if you’re questioning whether to book him or not… RUN don’t walk and book him now before someone else does! He is the best and I am so thankful to have had him as part of our day!

Mike did an AMAZING job keeping the dance floor full from start to finish at our wedding reception. Many of our guests approached us to say how much they loved our DJ and how much fun they had. He played music for all ages/generations, and his transitions with seamless. Do not look any further

If you want to have the best time ever DJ Mike Melice is literally it.

Let's start with the fact that as a human I am not very good at the details, so being a bride having to think of all the things was so hard for me. With Mike I barley had to do a thing. He offers online services which is so awesome. I was able to pick songs, get ideas and make changes at any point in time. There are detailed forms and questions to fill out to tell him exactly what you want and when I had questions he was super responsive. He even helped me with a few little surprises I had for my husband and gave us the best recommendations. His enhancement options are all AMAZING it was so hard to decide but he helped me choose ones that all worked so well together. (10/10 recommend cold sparklers)

My husbands only request for our wedding was that the dance floor stay packed. Side note- we have attended 7 other weddings in addition to our own this year and not one of them had people on the dance floor all night long. I truly did not think this was a very reasonable request.

Well not only did Mike plan the entire day perfectly, but he delivered on my husbands request and our dance floor was packed ALL night long. We had 200 guests and Mike was able to keep EVERYONE, from my older aunts and uncles to the little kids, on the dance floor, fully engaged and having a good time all night. We are still so beyond impressed and think he should DJ everyones wedding.

I literally could go on and on, but I won't because you need to just book him and see for yourself.

We didn’t want the night to end!!

DJ Mike made our wedding the best night ever! We knew we wanted a DJ that would not only have the enhancements we were looking for (cold sparks and dancing on a cloud) but also one that would make our wedding a night to remember for us and our guests and we made the perfect choice. The dance floor was packed from the moment we did our “couples dance” after dinner to when the wedding was over. He played one great song after another and many of our guests told us they were waiting for a break in songs to grab a drink or take break but couldn’t because they just wanted to keep dancing. My husband and I didn’t leave the dance floor, it was exactly the atmosphere we wanted at our wedding! Awesome DJ for an Awesome Day!

DJ Mike was a great addition to our team! From start to finish, his professionalism and attention to detail was excellent. Mike provided us with a login to an easy to use online music portal with a massive library of music to select genres and songs we wanted to hear, along with must plays/do not plays etc. On top of the great music, DJ Mike brings modern equipment with a really nice lighting setup that made our event space glow at night. In addition he offers really cool add-ons We went with the cold sparklers, and photo booth, both of which were crowd pleasers! Mike kept the energy high and our guests dancing late into the night, we had such and amazing time!

Hiring Mike Melice to be the DJ for our wedding was one of the quickest and best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. I knew within minutes of talking to him that he was exactly what we were looking for. Once we hired him, it was one part of the wedding I knew I didn’t have to think or worry about. I asked him so many questions, not just about the music, but everything wedding related and he helped me throughout the entire planning process. He even helped me find my other vendors! Any random question I thought of, he had a quick answer for. As far as the wedding itself, he totally rocked it. Our enhancements were absolutely breathtaking. Our guests still can’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was. The dance floor was packed all night and so many guests commented on how great our DJ was. DJ Mike got our wedding guests on the dance floor and made it so they didn't want to leave! First and foremost, Mike was extremely attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. He was very fun to speak with at our meetings. Mike's online portal for setting our playlist's tone was easy to follow, yet thorough. Our experience involved two add-on services; we opted for the ceremony set-up and the "dancing on a cloud" effect for our first dance. Mike flawlessly executed the music at our ceremony and cocktail hour. The ceremony set-up was simple yet effective, and our guests were beside themselves when they saw our cloud. Lastly, Mike communicated well with me throughout the reception. We even had guests, who you would never expect to be dancing, on the dance floor all night! Look no further for a DJ!

The best of the best!

Mike is AMAZING! Not only was the communication throughout the entire planning process on point, but he kept my dance floor full and happy. Our guests gave us so many compliments on him and his performance was incredible. We chose to have 4 enhancements; highly recommend the sparklers, they were amazing for photos and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the photo booth. There wasn't a moment throughout the entire night were there wasn't somebody in the photo booth. It was also a great way for my husband and I to have photos of our guests having a great time! We had a few last minute changes and even though I was flustered with everything he was able to make it happen! He kept me calm and collected. If you are up in the air between DJ's, go with him. 2022 wedding review!

We had a BLAST! I was very luck as an out of state bride to book DJ Mike Melice! Many of my other vendors recommended him after working with him in the past and I see why! We had numerous emails/text/phone conversations to plan my big day and make sure every detail was exactly how I wanted it. My ceremony sound was so beautiful everyone was already crying as I started walking down the aisle!
Our reception was EXCELLENT! We had a wide range of age groups and he made sure everyone had a time to shine on the dance floor! Including doing a last minute request by me for baby shark mix for all the kids at the wedding. He made it so fun even the adults who were partying and dancing stayed for the song!
My father in law told me the next day that the servers and bar tenders at the venue said we had one of the best DJs they had seen all summer!

Mike helped to make our wedding reception a great party that our guests can't stop talking about! The music was great and he kept our dance floor packed the entire night. The two enhancements we chose with our package were great- the personalized monogram and the digital photo booth. We picked the animated monogram design we liked and were able to preview it before the wedding. Having that projected on the wall in the ballroom was a very nice touch! Our guests absolutely LOVED the digital photo booth. We got so many great pictures of our guests from this and since it was digital, everyone that took pictures there throughout the night got a link to view ALL of the pictures that were taken! If you are looking for someone who will keep the party going throughout your wedding reception and who offers some additional add-ons that add to the fun of your wedding, Mike will deliver for you!

Top Tier DJ

Mike was an absolute rockstar. He is organized and systematic in his planing which made our meetings very efficient and pleasurable.

On the night of our wedding, he delivered everything he promised and more. He stuck to our timeline and kept everything moving as planned. As far as the music- We requested that he keep the energy high and the dance floor filled and he delivered 100%. He had the entire crowd, young and old, on the dance floor for a continuous 4+ hours without any breaks or slow downs. He is as skilled as it gets.

He was by far the best money we spent on our reception. He gave us a night that we will never forget.

Best DJ for a packed dance floor!

Mike made our wedding day beyond phenomenal and was a critical factor in the success of our reception. He was clearly prepared and did so much more than just play music. His enhancements were a huge hit at our wedding, especially his selfie station. This is so much better than your standard photo booth and our guests had so much fun with this. The other enhancements, such as the personalized monogram, uplighting, and dancing on a cloud effect added immensely to our venue. He communicates clearly and consistently. During the night of our wedding so many of our guests said he was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding. His music choice was reflective of our requests and the vibe we were looking to set. When we spoke with Mike the week of our wedding we were clear with him that our #1 priority was to have all guests on the dance floor all night long- he took this beyond seriously and did not disappoint. We had a few special requests about playing music in between courses, what we wanted to add in, what we wanted to skip, etc. He went the extra mile to figure out what kind of reception we wanted to have and then worked tirelessly to make our dreams come true. He was enthusiastic and truly cared about making our wedding day incredible. I would, and do, recommend Mike to anyone planning a wedding or another event where you need a DJ. Do not hesitate or think twice- Mike is the BEST!

Best DJ around!!!

DJ Mike Melice was the very first vendor we booked and I am so glad we did! We still haven’t stopped talking about how great he was. He was on top of every little detail, even making minor changes to the reception entrances literally minutes before they happened. He was very professional, gave great suggestions, and was very responsive to any questions. We were so happy with all the enhancements we chose - the social booth was a hit, the cold sparklers were amazing (he even suggested the perfect time to use them & our guests loved it!!), the uplighting was perfect, and the ceremony setup was everything we wanted. We knew our wedding was in good hands with him as our DJ! His exceptional skills as a DJ were what kept our dance floor going all night. He knew when and how to transition the music based on the crowd that was currently on the dance floor. He is hands down the best DJ!! Don’t wait to book him!!

Worth ever penny

The best decision on our wedding day was going with Mike. His professionalism through the process coupled with his great suggestions for each stage of our ceremony made working with him a breeze.

When picking a dj we did not want someone to just hit play on a Playlist and walk away, Mike was just what we were looking for. He read the vibe of the crowed and streamed songs together perfectly. If he felt like he was loosing the crowd he would adjust and continue, all while mixing in guest requests on a whim. Through out our wedding our guests were telling us how great he was and we couldn't of been happier. A dj can make or break a wedding and after ours we can attest he was the best and definitely made our night perfect.

Mike was awesome to work with! We had our wedding in January at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland. We felt confident in our decision with Mike from his previous experience, especially knowing he has done weddings at our specific venue several times! From our beginning consultation, to the actual wedding day it was a great experience. Mike is very passionate for what he does, and you can definitely tell. He played the best songs that kept the dance floor alive all night, he kept us on schedule, and he even had it snow on our first dance! We were able to be his first wedding using his snow machine, and it was a huge hit. All of our guests kept talking about how magical it looked, and it made the pictures of our first dance turn out incredible. We danced all night long

Mike was one of the best things to ever happen to our wedding. When I booked him, we chatted for almost an hour on the phone. I felt like we had been long time friends and that he understood the vision for my wedding. He even got me in touch with the photographer who did his own wedding when I had a meltdown over the one I was about to book!

Mike prides himself on being an ACTUAL DJ- an artist, rather than a “human iPod”. He certainly delivered. Mike was mixing all night long and it felt like being in a poppin’ night club! My friends and family have been raving about him since the wedding, and I didn’t sit down a single time during the wedding because I was on the dance floor all night long- my legs hurt for days!

Mike was amazing to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, and strictly adhered to what I was hoping for during the wedding. His ceremony music, uplighting and photo booth also transformed my wedding.

We loved working with Mike Melice. Mike made sure all names were announced properly, he sent up multiple appointments prior to the wedding and promptly answered any questions we may have along the way. The dance floor was full as soon as dinner was over, Mike wasted no time playing the music theme we had wanted for the wedding and the amount of people dancing proved that. Mike was also familiar with the Coordinator and the venue so that was extremely helpful when it came to asking questions about lighting. Mike has multiple different packages to help fit your budget and needs without pressuring you to have add ons if you choose not to. Best. Party. Ever.

Mike was incredible. I'll start with the music and environment he created. He is truly a human Spotify. He was SO GOOD at hearing the vibe we wanted and didn't want and ran with it. His enhancements are so fun and truly add to your experience. We did the uplighting, photo booth, ceremony enhancement, cold sparklers, AND a CO2 gun and WOW.......it was a FREAKIN' PARTY. If you're looking to be more than "just a wedding reception", Mike is the guy to make it happen.

I also want to give Mike kudos for his professionalism and collaboration with our other vendors. He is so thoughtful in ensuring not just your music and party are great but that your videographer have what they need to create great content, your speeches are timely and located in the right spot for lighting, and makes sure your wedding party feels confident with how introductions are going to go. I think thoughtful, experienced, professional, and fun are all adjectives to summarize what Mike will bring to the table for you. Our wedding venue RAVED about their experience with Mike and said he was a premier vendor for them in 2021.

Couldn’t Be Happier - Simply The Best

Could not be happier with Mike. Exceeded all of our expectations for the wedding. Being a fusion (Indian and American) event over the course of two days, I’m sure he had his hands full but you would never have known it. Super responsive and super organized from start to finish. If I had to do it all over again, I would book Mike ten times over. Mike executed on his amazing ability to turn the wedding into the best dance party ever. As far as working with a wedding vendor goes, he was my favorite. He was supportive during all the COVID uncertainties and constantly reassured us that if he was there, he would make sure people were going to dance and have a good time. I can't say enough wonderful things about Mike. We found Mike initially on our venues Instagram page. He was tagged so we researched him and read all of the wonderful reviews, along with all of the awards that he's won. Mike met all of our requests. My now husband said I was a bit demanding, but Mike came through and made all of my requests come to life. Especially with how my anxiety was during the entire wedding planning process... I was very particular with what song I wanted and how I wanted it to start during the entrance to our reception... I even asked Mike if he could play a hook from one song before a second song started... so Mike being as awesome as he is mixed the two songs together and killed it! He even emailed it to me for my approval! Mike went above and beyond for us! He was so professional, enthusiastic when introducing our wedding party and his personality was on point! He kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! Even our parents! We received so many compliments from our guests about how classy his set up was! We even had two future brides that attended our wedding reach out to us to get his contact information because of how amazing he did! Mike met every single expectation! He was worth every penny! just book him! dj mike brought the party. we did uplighting as one of our add ons and our friends daughter saw the wedding on snap chat and asked if we were at a club! on top of that, mike is super responsive, passionate, and accommodating. covid changed our wedding plans 3 times and mike rolled with it when we finally moved the party to the backyard. 10/10!

Very smooth, and that’s saying a lot for 2020

My fiancé and I booked DJ Mike for our August 2020 wedding. When the coronavirus pandemic hit and everything suddenly got turned upside down, Mike was like a saving grace. He sent frequent email updates regarding the changing NY state rules to keep us in the loop and even contacted the department of health to make sure we had our information correct to keep our guests safe. Mike was so professional, answered our questions promptly, and was SO flexible with us as everything kept changing, even up to the very day of the wedding with bringing extra equipment and changing his setup at the last minute for us. He made the process so smooth and easy during a very crazy time of trying to plan a wedding and for that we are truly grateful. Pandemic aside, Mike’s music selection was awesome! He was able to read our guests and the environment, since our wedding was a bit out of the ordinary due to the safety rules, and everyone loved it and had a fantastic time! Mike brought all of our wedding dreams to life. From day one when we first talked to him on the phone, we knew his energy and creativity would take our wedding to the next level...and trust me, he did not disappoint. He has so much more to offer than just the music. Our guests could not stop talking about the “dancing on a cloud” effect, the slideshow of pictures he put together for our first dance, father daughter dance, and mother son dance, the animated monogram on the wall, the amazing photobooth, and the life that he brought to the party overall. He met with us three times and listened to our vision, helped us come up with unique ideas, and helped redirect us with his honest and professional opinion when we needed it. We had a moment when things went wrong during the planning process (venue-wise), and he literally researched and fought for us and made sure he did everything to make sure that our day would still be perfect no matter what. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Choosing DJ Mike was one of the best decisions we made around our wedding day. He came highly recommended by another vendor, and as soon as we first made contact with him we could see why. Mike talked to us on the phone at length twice the day we first emailed him, before we had even committed to using him yet. One of the most important things to us was having a great DJ who would keep our guests dancing all night, and after talking with Mike we were confident he would be the one to do that. He has so much experience with weddings and was able to give us suggestions on anything we asked him about. Leading up to the wedding he was very responsive and flexible when it came to meeting and communicating, and the day of the wedding he kept the reception running smoothly from cocktail hour to the last dance. Introductions went flawlessly, his equipment sounded great, and the room looked incredible with his uplighting (which we HIGHLY recommend doing - we debated for a long time on whether to do uplighting due to cost, but we decided to go for it and looking back are so glad we did). Mike also kept the reception moving on schedule and kept track of where we needed to be so we could enjoy ourselves and talk with guests without trying to keep track of when to do cake cutting, etc. Most importantly, our dance floor was packed all night, and our guests are still commenting three weeks later on how much fun they had and how awesome our DJ was! Our wedding day was more perfect than we could have imagined and Mike played a huge part in that. If having a full dance floor during your reception is important to you and you don't want to wonder between now and then if that will happen, book with DJ Mike; you will not regret it!

Could not have asked for a better Dj for our wedding! Mike was in touch with me throughout the planning of our wedding, even keeping me on track at times by asking the right questions at the right points in our planning process to make sure our night turned out to be a dream come true.

When he says he can produce any color effect with uplighting, it’s true, and the lighting synchronizing with the beats of the music was seriously awesome. When he says photos do the uplighting no justice, that’s also true. I wish there was a way I could convey the pure heaven that was my ceremony and reception lighting last Saturday.

Mike was a super helpful with song choices. His transitions between songs throughout the night were perfectly seamless and the VERY few times our dance floor slowed down, he transitioned to another song and drew everyone back in!!!

Highly highly recommend!!! I can’t say enough and neither can my guests. I’ve heard from so many guests already, only 3 days later, that my DJ was AWESOME and a big part of what made our wedding so fun. Thank you for everything Mike.

Wedding DJ

Mike was recommended to us by our venue. After the first time we met with him, we knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding. Awesome!!!

DJ Mike was awesome! We received so many complements from our guests that the music was on point. Mike also played the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, the music and timing were also so perfect! The enhancements he has to offer are amazing, we decided to have the photo booth and everyone ABSOLUTELY loved it! The photos are even better and just add another great memory for everyone have from the wedding. Mike was great to work with and was very accommodating. DJ Mike Melice is Top Notch!

I can't say enough good things about working with DJ Mike Melice. Every question I asked - from the initial inquiry to last minute questions the day before the wedding - was answered by Mike within minutes. He was nothing but friendly, professional, and completely engaged throughout the entire process and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ/MC to be a part of our special day.

A few things that stood out:
- Vinyl Cocktail Hour: He brought this vinyl collection and let our guests browse through records and select songs
- Photobooth: Mike let us customize the backdrop of the photobooth. Also, as our guests took photos his assistant would take the printout copies and assemble a photo book so that it was ready for us to take home by the end of the night.
- Sound system: his sound system was crisp, clean, with a perfectly balanced bass.

Most importantly, Mike kept the party going strong with an amazing song selection and smooth song transitions. We couldn't recommend Mike enough.

A Fantastic Experience

I talked to a few DJs in the wedding planning process and none of them seemed to click until I found Mike. From our very first email and phone call I knew he was easy going and would be fun to work with. We talked on the phone for 5 minutes and I was sold! Our wedding this past weekend was incredible thanks in large part to Mike. He took care of everything for the ceremony and was so flexible when we wanted to change up some of our formal dances. Best dj hands down

Where do I even begin with DJ Mike Melice!? From the SECOND we spoke to him while searching for a DJ, he was polite, professional, thoughtful, and responsive. We knew we were in good hands for our big day! The more we got into the planning, the more we loved him! He was SO thoughtful and his attention to detail cannot be matched. Then came the wedding day... he was hands down the best DJ we could have ever asked for. Not only did he maintain his professionalism and politeness, but WOW was he talented!!!! Once the dancing got started, no one wanted to leave the dance floor. ALL of our guests kept saying how amazing he was and even my mother (mother of the bride) said he was excellent! We could not have asked for a better DJ for our big day and would recommend him over and over and over again. Also - side note - the photo booth was a HUGE hit and his assistant who helped with the photo booth was just as professional and pleasant! Over the top, exceeds expectations

DJ Mike took our wedding to the next level. From the very beginning he was dedicated to providing us the best quality work. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows from the minute you speak to him. He went above and beyond our expectations, constantly looking to take things to the next level. He worked with us for whatever request we had and came through. He personally created a mash up of songs for my father daughter dance, beautiful slide shows for the entire reception, and the enhancements were a wow. The best decision you’ll make for your wedding!

I can’t say enough about Mike’s amazing skills and professionalism! Not only was he the best DJ but he provided the uplighting for our ballroom, the multimedia set-up to showcase our photos, the fun photo-booth services, the entire music for our cocktail hour, and all the MC-ing for the entire reception. I am so happy and beyond satisfied in his complete wedding package. It was great to rely on and communicate with one person for a bunch of my wedding needs. He is very communicative and prompt to respond, and will set-up multiple meeting prior to the wedding to ensure that everything is covered.

Mike truly went above and beyond to make sure all of our expectations and wants were met for our special day. He even made a separate trip to our wedding venue to demo one of his enhancements so that the venue could approve of it. Mike created these awesome face pieces for the wedding game, which was a huge hit at our wedding. He also created a beautiful photo booth template so that it matched the wedding invitations. Furthermore, he was seriously the best DJ ever! The crowd kept dancing and song after song, he engaged the crowd.

Great DJ for our wedding!

Mike was fantastic! We got so many compliments from each of our guests about how great he was. Seamless transition between songs throughout the reception - there was no awkward downtime or silences and Mike was professional the whole time. Each meeting we had with him he listened to each of our suggestions and requests and took each of our concerns into consideration. We felt like we were in control of our own day which was so important to us! The day of our wedding was perfect thanks in part to everything Mike did. We did not need to worry about anything when it came to the introductions, first dances and music - everything was taken care of without a hitch. Amazing DJ & Quality Service

Mike was such an amazing DJ and vendor to work with for our wedding. From the first initial call I knew he was the right choice. The questions he asked and attention to detail was there before we even signed off with him. After booking him things only got better! We had Mike do our ceremony and reception. A week before our wedding Mike purchased a whole new system for our ceremony after learning that the one our venue offered for the outdoor wooded area wasn’t quality enough for his standards. This is the type of attention to detail you are getting when you book him, not forgetting that his set and energy was really the life of our wedding! So many friends commented on the mixes and song selection throughout the night and for days after. With Mike you are getting the best!

Amazing, spectacular, indoor sparklers

Mike Melice made our wedding spectacular! He kept the party going, kept everyone dancing, catered to all different age groups, and was very well prepared. The Diamond package is highly preferred with the TVs, uplighting, and indoor sparklers. These are things that most traditional weddings don't think about and he brings it all to life. You need to hire DJ Mike for your wedding!!!! All of our guests keep telling us how much fun they had and Mike kept everyone on the dance floor all night! He went so far above and beyond our expectations. We had a difficult venue and needed a sound system and music for multiple floors and inside/outside areas. Mike had it covered and made the whole evening slow seamlessly. On top of awesome music...he had great lighting which really just elevated the whole dance floor atmosphere to another level! Not only was he fantastic at the wedding, but he was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process. He is honestly a really cool and nice guy, and from the second we contacted him inquiring about his services, he made us feel like we were his only priority. Truthfully, DJ Mike was a little bit above our budget, but it was money well spent and we are so happy we made the decision to go to with him! Your guests are going to remember how much fun they had at your wedding and how awesome the music and atmosphere was....not the quality of your table linens. Having Mike be a part of our wedding was one of the best decisions we made about that day. He is a super nice, down to earth guy, obviously very talented and loves what he does, and goes above and beyond to make sure your special day is everything you want it to be. Mike called us within 10 minutes of sending him an inquiry email about his packages. He had so many options and we were able to customize all of these things to make our day perfect. Our ceremony was perfect, we were able to hear the music even outside on a large lawn. Mike is always one upping himself and even offered more options one month before our wedding that he had just gotten. We were able to even customize our animated monogram. Mike customized our photo booth cards for the pictures with our monogram and did them marble to match our cake. We absolutely wanted a modern wedding without the cheesy typical music (ymca, Macarena, Love shack) that you usually hear at weddings. Mike kept the dance floor busy all night and even took requests from my bridesmaids. He kept us on schedule and was beyond professional. We had friends getting his business card for when they get married. If you want 5 Star VIP service talk to Mike, as soon as you speak to him you’ll see what he will be like throughout your planning process. We were so lucky to have him, thanks Mike!

Hiring Mike was one of the best decisions we made. He was a little more expensive than we budgeted but WORTH EVERY PENNY. Our search for a DJ began shortly after choosing our venue. A friend of mine highly recommended using Mike Melice. Kaitlyn and I reached out to him via Facebook and received extremely prompt responses, We set up a time to meet working around our schedule. During our first meeting Mike was extremely professional and well organized, he showed us multiple package options with videos and pictures to sample our options. Kaitlyn and I knew at that moment DJ mike was our guy. Over the next few months we worked on choosing our package. Mikes dedication to be the premier DJ in the area brought some state of the art upgrades to the table to choose from. Moving closer to the day a final conference call was had to confirm all final details and name pronunciation. Finally, the day of the event Mike arrived early and had everything staged perfectly. His willingness to go the extra mile was felt by everyone involved (photographer, venue, and officiant) to do everything is his power to make our day flawless. The Ceremony, with mikes excellent equipment he was able to provide a ceremony that was audible to all attendees and discreet with small single microphone. The outdoor music provided a perfect scene for my beautiful wife to walk down the aisle. After photographs Mike set the stage for introductions that brought the whole crowd to their feet. Next, my favorite moment of the night our first dance Mike created a magical illusion with the dancing on the cloud effect and indoor sparklers that absolutely wowed everyone in the room. These types of effects are something you could typically only see in a movie. As the night continued he was able to read the room and provide a music playlist that kept many on the dance floor. We have all been to that wedding where only select people are up and dancing, I will tell you first hand Mike Melice can change that stereotype.

It’s not every day your dj loses his trailer as he’s on his way to your barn wedding! However, when mike showed up it was as if nothing ever happened. I appreciated his confidence and his relaxed personality as that could’ve gone majorly wrong. But mikes performance, amazing. I searched and searched and searched djs. I feel as if they’re just as important as the venue your choosing! Not everyone can judge a crowd and give them what they want, not everyone can provide the experience as mike did. I was impressed with his equipment, it was state of the art! He had all the top of the line and latest trends, even ahead of the game on some of them! He covered every base possible, I appreciated the fact that he was knowledgeable as he was in his line as work as it created litttle room for error. Not only did he deliver with performance bht he was very accommodating! He answered every text message, email, phone call. He gave me his honest opinion on decisions I struggled with and helped make it as smooth as possible. I appreciate everything he did for me! Also a huge shout out to his photo booth attendant, Sayre! She had a smile on her face all night long and helped my guests with everything mike provided us for the photo booth! He went above and beyond and I would book him now as there’s no doubt he will be filling up for 2019. This was the best most stressful decision I made and I am so thankful I went with Mike.

I don’t even have the words to describe how wonderful this man is! From the moment I spoke with him on the phone I knew I wanted him for our wedding. My husband was skeptical of the price and decided to go with a cheaper DJ. As the saying goes “You get what you pay for.” That DJ fell through two weeks before the wedding and Mike literally saved the day. His response time is incredible. He replies within minutes. He went over all of the details to make sure the night went exactly as we wanted it to. He did the music for our ceremony outdoors as well as the reception inside. We danced on a cloud for our first dance, and my husband and Mike surprised me with indoor fireworks! It really was a majestic and beautiful evening. People at my job are still talking about he wedding nearly two weeks later. The venue where we got married even asked for his contact info because they were super impressed. He did an amazing job. He is worth every penny.

Mike was a great DJ for our wedding. As a former wedding DJ, mike and I had a lot in common. We were able to come up with a great playlist that all of our guests were extremely happy with. If I could give Mike a million stars I would!! He made the entire process from start to finish so flawless for us. He went above and beyond any requests we had, helped 5r best man from Italy arrange a picture slideshow speech for our surprise, and was able to keep a party of Italian, polacca, and Greeks dancing all night long! Everyone had a blast thanks to mike! His first focus was making sure we as a couple had everything we wanted for our night and by far exceeded our hopes for the day! Do yourself a favor, ease some stress, and hire mike because he WONT let you down! Thank you so much again Mike!!!!

Mike was so great to work with. He made us feel very comfortable and confident in his services. All pre-planning conversations /meetings were very detailed and he made sure any questions we had were answered right away. The day before the wedding Mike called to run through everything one last time which I appreciated so much. The day of the wedding everything went so smoothly and his booth was amazing! He played the best mixes and was able to get everyone dancing. We were nervous we wouldn't find a DJ that could capture all the genres and styles of music we love but he nailed it! We are so grateful to have had him DJ our wedding!! We also had many compliments on his services, set-up and the multimedia screens he used with our package. We highly recommend using him and will defiantly use him for any other parties we have coming up!

Mike is without a doubt the BEST wedding DJ that my husband or I have ever experienced. We contacted him about a year before our wedding and he was extremely responsive, professional, and helpful in navigating the wedding planning process. We had a multicultural wedding and we also have a lot of friends who love dancing, so it was really important for us to find someone who was comfortable playing more traditional American wedding music as well as Hindi/Bollywood music, and Mike did not disappoint! I was a little worried the transitions between the different genres of music would seem abrupt or awkward, but Mike mixed all the tracks to transition perfectly. He also went above and beyond the requirements of his job; a few months before the wedding he spent 30 minutes on the phone with me helping me figure out the floorplans and layout of our venue since he had worked there before. Mike excelled in every aspect to make sure our wedding day was special and flowed smoothly. Every single person we talked to commented on how much they loved our DJ. Thank you Mike for a very memorable night for our friends and family!
