Dj mike is the best.

Mike was our wedding DJ last October, and he absolutely killed it. Best dance floor I have ever stepped on, I swear.

I had multiple people come up to me during and after the wedding to sing his praises. The compliments were all along the lines of "I have been to a lot of weddings, and this was my favorite dance floor/the music was FIRE". And the setlist was truly fire. He listened to our suggestions, and from those songs created the dance party of our dreams.

Oh, and he is the nicest guy. He really cares about his clients. He knows every wedding is unique and deserving of a dance floor curated to their taste. The next excuse I have to throw a big dance party, Mike will be my DJ. Thank you so much DJ Mike! You are the greatest!!!

Incredible Wedding Thanks to Mike!

Mike was extremely personable, helpful, and informative in preparing for our big night. He had all the equipment necessary for both our ceremony and reception. He absolutely crushed it at the reception and it felt like no one left the dance floor for the entire wedding!! Every guest at our wedding spoke so highly of the music and the fun because of our DJ, Mike Janedy. Could not thank Mike enough for the amazing job that he did. I cannot recommend him high enough!

Danced all night!

Mike was awesome. He DJ'd our wedding of ~150 people (including lots of big partiers) and crushed it. He offers an online portal where you can link Spotify playlists, add details about which songs to play when, etc. As someone who really wanted to choose all of my own wedding reception music, I really appreciated that he stuck to my list to the T, with the exception of only 3 songs I noticed weren't on it.... all of which were perfect for the moment, and I just hadn't thought of them. Highly recommended.

Best wedding DJ

Mike was an amazing choice for our wedding. From the beginning he was beyond helpful with us selecting our playlist, with his suggestions for important dances, and walking us through how the day/night would go. With his help the ceremony music was perfect. My guests has a blast between everything he played and his photo booth. Thank you mike for helping me create the best memories of my wedding day!

HIGHLY Recommend!!!!!!

For my husband and I, music was an extremely important part of our wedding reception! When thinking about what would make the perfect DJ, we wanted somebody who not only played a great selection of music, but somebody who would emcee and really feel a part of our night. With Mike Janedy, not only did we get all of those things, but he went above and beyond to make our wedding truly amazing! To start, he came to our HOME for both the initial consult and the final meeting! He understands how stressful the wedding planning process can be and he wants to make his part as easy as possible! He provides you with an online account where you can pick and choose songs right up until your wedding! He also has playlists you can choose from if you want to see what others have played at their weddings!

Uplighting was very important to us as well, and Mike has a package that includes just that! He also offers a photobooth!

One of the best things Mike offers, however, is the personalized monogram that he projects! It plays on a loop and our guests absolutely loved it! Again, it just made our night feel even that much more special!

Mike didn't feel like a DJ at our wedding. He felt like he was part of our wedding. I cannot recommend him enough!

Highly Recommend

Mike was a DJ for our wedding, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a reliable yet fun DJ. Mike was very professional; he has a personalized website and answered any questions we had. He made his service more personal than just signing a contract and giving a check. He met up with us multiple times in order to get the playlist right. Right before the wedding, he pulled me aside and asked about name pronunciation which showed me he cared about doing a great job. During the wedding he stuck to our suggestions of music and also was very entertaining. He took care of the intros of the bridal party and also made sure the music was done right. He also mixed and customized songs for us. If you want a DJ or professional you can count on, I would go with Mike.

Wicked fun wedding

DJ Mike was great to work with. His website made it really easy for us to share what music we really wanted at our wedding. Mike was also the DJ at my best friends wedding, and both were a total blast! People danced all night.

DJ Mike was great!

Mike was a great DJ for us, very good with communication, uses a great DJ portal for you to select your favorite songs. About a month before our wedding we met to go through names of the wedding party, and all of the important songs during the ceremony and reception. Mike has a great ability to read the room and play music to get everybody on the dance floor and having a good time! Highly recommend Mike for any wedding!

Mike READ the group!

Used Mike for our wedding reception at the Barker Tavern. I had a bunch of songs listed, which he played, and about half the room was going and half was sitting hanging out, etc. Mike changed up the style a bit, with some interactive dances, more oldies/fun music, some funny stuff. Sooner or later everyone was out there. He totally read the group and made it so much fun. Not only that but he's an awesome guy, super easy and fun, and his photo booth accessories won over the crowd!

Best in the Biz

Mike Janedy is the best! We were lucky to get him for our wedding!! His extensive experience, warm and fun personality and natural talent as a DJ all make him an amazing choice for any wedding! He was wonderful and very fun to work with, is open to anything, will give honest and amazing advice and generally was so awesome!
He really got our vibe and style of the wedding and us as people. The way he works with clients is so seamless.
He walks the perfect line of guiding the ceremony and reception in the best way, while not taking over and talking a lot! He was really able to take the wheel, and rarely came on the mic and allowed people to dance! He also hooked up a projector and wrote our name in sparkles- which looked SO awesome!
We have gotten so much amazing feedback about our wedding, people loved it- and Mike had so much to do with that! The guests LOVED the music and adored him!
I also want to say his photo booth is amazing! He has dozens and dozens of props and backgrounds! The guests LOVED the whole system he has- and I’ve never seen anything like it! It was so well functioning and beautiful! He also gives a strip to EVERY person in a group photo AND creates a scrapbook for the couple. On top of that, he gives a flash drive with the individual jpgs and the strips- which is SO fun on social media after the wedding!
Honestly, I feel so fortunate that we got to work with Mike, and we were so lucky to find him! I give him my HIGHEST recommendation! If you’re looking for your wedding DJ- definitely book him!

Amazing! Kept the dance floor full all night long!

Hire DJ Mike Janedy!

We were so happy with the music at our reception, and with Mike’s professionalism. He will make you the happy, no question about it! He makes the day all about you and your guests!

One amazing quality about Mike is that he is incredibly easy to communicate with during the planning process. He has a very user friendly online platform to plan your music by category: ceremony, dinner, reception etc. He also was so quick to respond via text message if we had questions, but the best part was, he came to meet with us at our home to plan out details of the wedding music together. Considering how busy we were, it was so nice to not have to go to another appointment across town.

Mike kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night! He really read the crowd well and kept the energy up high!

Excellent Experience

Mike was the DJ at a wedding we attended and he played such great music, we knew we’d be using him! As soon as we booked our date, we reached out to Mike and booked him. Mike came to our house to meet with us and talk about the different packages he offers and how his client portal works. I emailed Mike telling him that my dad and I would be doing a slow song and then transitioning into a fast song and he made the mix of the song for us that was absolutely perfect! He also made the mother/son dance song shorter, but it was such a seamless splice you’d never even know. About a month before the wedding he came to the house again to meet with us to go over pronunciation of all the names, songs we picked, music we didn’t want played, and the timeline. Mike played great music and anytime I went up to ask him to play a specific song next, he did. He was great at reading the room and playing the right songs to keep everyone dancing. The dance floor was full all night and everyone is still telling us how great the music was. I highly recommend him!

Kept everyone on the dance floor!

Initially one of my biggest fears when comitting to a DJ was that our guests would be bored with the music choices and wouldn’t be on the dance floor. With DJ Mike, all of my fears completely disappeared after our first meeting! He did such an amazing job “reading” our crowd of guests and selecting music that everyone loved. Our guests all said they loved the music and had a blast dancing the night away! Throughout the night, Mike made himself basically invisible except for his music. Unlike some DJs who yell and shout over the microphone the whole night, Mike only announced important things that we had discussed beforehand. We are so thankful to have selected DJ Mike for our wedding! He’s amazing at his job!!

Amazing DJ

Mike went above and beyond! He makes the whole experience so easy! His online program for picking songs is awesome! A dj can make or break the night and boy did he ever make it an amazing night for us and our guests!! Mike had the dance floor packed the whole night with his awesome song selections. Must have dj

Mike is a legend! He was my DJ at my wedding on October 27th, and people didn't leave the dance floor all night! I told him that I wanted a really upbeat wedding with lots of dancing. I have been to weddings where you don't start dancing until the end of the night (after introductions, speeches, dinner, cake cutting, parent daces, ect) and then you're so tired. He was able to perfectly schedule songs in between introductions, dinner, parent dances, ect so that people were having fun the whole night. He is great with sticking with any requests and he will not play songs or genres that you don't want. I have seen DJ reviews where the couple complained that their DJ played songs or a type of music they didn't want. Mike really cares and wants your day to be perfect. In my opinion, the crowd and the music are the best part of any wedding. The people you were with and the dancing is what you'll always remember. Aside from being an expert in reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed, he's a really nice and funny guy. You absolutely will not regret going with Mike. We are so happy to have had him!!!

My husband Greg and I were married at Bittersweet Farm in Westport, Ma on 10.06.18. We knew we had to have Mike provide the entertainment and uplighting for our wedding immediately after meeting with him! He is professional, accommodating, and punctual. We had the best experience with Mike for our September 2018 wedding! He was extremely responsive, easy to work with and very professional. Mike Janedy flat out rocks!! Since college I’ve always felt that “tunes make a party” and our goal was to have a reception that had great food and an awesome dance party. Mike J made our dance party happen, bigtime! From the start of the process, Mike was easy to work with (even from out of state), had a navigable website, and helped us design a reception with music that fit our musical tastes and those of our guests. Mike works with your style and preferences for the reception, helping you achieve the vibe you want and stay on track with any plans you’ve made in a very unobtrusive way. We had wanted to take a few moments later in the evening for some special birthdays and anniversaries, and he quietly came to my wife during a moment when she wasn’t in conversation or dancing to remind her about it (she was having so much fun she might have forgotten). Since we rarely have the opportunity to gather with so many friends and family, we had wanted to feature some of the more unusual jazz and vocal music we have come to enjoy during the cocktail hour and dinner. Mike was able to integrate our music choices seamlessly with the flow and mood of the reception. During the dancing portion, Mike’s selection had everyone from six to ninety years old up and dancing. Many of our friends commented that they hadn’t danced that much in years. Our only regret was that we had so much great music and not enough hours in the evening to keep dancing. If we ever have the opportunity to hold another event, we would hire Mike again in a heartbeat.

The photo booth was a great add on to our wedding, not only for the memorabilia but for a crowd pleaser. Mike was great to work with and everything ran great throughout the night with no issues. Mike also did the uplighting for the venue, which came out unreal and I can’t wait to see the photos. We used Mike for our wedding at Bay Pointe Club on August 13th and couldn't have been happier! Mike was so easy to work with from his website that made it so easy to put in all of our song requests to always being available for any questions we had. When I arrived (the bride) to the venue just over an hour before the ceremony Mike was already there and ready to go, definitely putting me at ease. My officiant was also impressed by the mic he had for her, and they both pulled me aside to discuss if I wanted an announcement about no cell phones during the ceremony (which I am SO happy they did that - I never would have remembered to ask.) Mike kept the flow going throughout the whole day, I never had to worry about remembering what was next and the music was perfect! I wouldn't look any further for a DJ for your big day.

Mike DJ'd our wedding this past weekend 5.6.17, and he was simply AMAZING!!! He played all the right tunes at the perfect time, he worked with us to find out what kind of music we wanted playing; songs that he may have not had, I just gave him a list prior during our meeting and he worked it into the playlist. The Photo Booth was a HUGE HIT and we gave out personalized CDs that mike, which I had both from, as a favor and my family and friends absolutely love it and cannot stop playing it! The photo booth pictures are awesome to look at in my album he created for me and gave the guests yet another favor to go home with. Mike is amazing and very outgoing and most of all a great DJ! People were on the dance floor ALL night, even till the very last song! I highly recommend him!

Mike was AWESOME! Our wedding was nearly six months ago and the first thing people say is "by the way, your music was great!" Mike honed in our wide variety of song choices ... from Aretha to Tom Petty and more modern choices .. and had great suggestions on how to flawlessly transition the evening, even prompting me to go with Beyonce's version of "At Last" at the *very* last second for an unforgettable walk down the aisle. We opted for the photo booth at the last minute and he was incredibly accommodating. The props were awesome, better than we've ever seen. He really does have a crazy selection! From the second we met Mike, we knew we were in great hands. Highly recommend!!

Mike was wonderful. He came to our house for an initial meeting as well as a final meeting to discuss the music as well as the ceremony and order of events. Mike did the music for the whole day. Some of the music that we requested for cocktail hour was music he had to get but was great about making sure it was played and many guests complemented on the playlist. The ceremony was great as he provided us with different songs throughout each section and provided mics for the JP and speakers. People couldn't stay off the dance floor we even had Nana dancing all night.

Mike Janedy did our Photo Booth as well as our uplighting. He was incredible to work with. He was fast to respond and made sure that everything was going to be just the way we wanted it- the perfect color for uplighting, the photo booth strip looking just so! His staff on the day of the wedding was wonderful and attentive. The Photo Booth was so, so busy because he has the best props. We even received a flash drive and a scrapbook of all of the photos (so fun to look through). Mike comes highly recommended for both of these services and I am sure he is an awesome DJ as well!

I can't begin to say how amazing Mike was. Countless people have come to us after the wedding and raved that our DJ was fantastic. From cocktail hour, through dinner things were great, then once it was time to get people on the dance floor it was packed. He did an excellent job of including the songs we had requested as well as reading the crowd and playing what they wanted. I don't think I've seen a dance floor that full the entire time at any wedding I've ever been too. Mike was very helpful and super easy going through the entire process. I couldn't be happier that he was the DJ for our wedding. We also had him bring his photo booth and this was a huge hit as well. The selection of stuff he brings with him blows away any Photo Booth I have ever been in at a wedding before. The photo book that he made for us was the perfect guest book and we have already looked at it a dozen time since the wedding! Thank you Mike!

Mike Janedy was the DJ at my wedding on June 24th, 2016 at the Lakeview Pavilion & I must say he was AMAZING! My guests were on the dance floor before dinner was served and continued to stay on the dance floor the entire night! The owners of the Lakeview had reached out after our wedding saying how fun our group was and that they couldn't believe how many people stayed on the dance floor through out the whole night.

I had researched a few DJ's before my wedding because they are such an important part of that night. Then my sisters boyfriend referred Mike to us & after that, everything went smoothly. He came directly to my house for our first meeting, which was very convenient, & after going over everything my whole family loved him & we knew we needed to use him for the wedding. Mike is very experienced and confident when it comes to weddings, which made my planning a lot less stressful. I knew the music was one thing I did not have to worry about. A few weeks before the wedding he came over for our final meeting & we went over the DJ timeline. Again, he was extremely organized & confident with every detail of the night.

We also use his photo booth service & the pictures came out awesome. It was a huge hit with the variety of props & the picture quality was great. At the end of the night we got a photo album of everyone's pictures & Mike also gave us a flash drive of all the photos that I could upload onto my computer. Everyone had so much fun with it, I would definitely recommend this service.

If you are looking for a fun & reliable DJ, Mike Janedy is the person to go to! From beginning to end, he was on point & made our reception so much fun:-)

Mike was great to work with from start to finish. We were planning our wedding from a few states away, and he was extremely accommodating of our schedules and wishes for the music at our reception. The sound was great, the wireless microphones he set up for speeches during the reception worked flawlessly (which isn't always the case at weddings!) and people were dancing until they were literally kicked off the dance floor. We would definitely recommend Mike to our friends and family.

Mike j has been in the DJ business for the past 35 plus years, as I worked with him on a couple of events back in the early 1980's. Today, with his years of experience and professional talents, he is truly outstanding as noted in my highest rating of his services. At my daughter's wedding two weeks ago, everything was perfect in large part to Mike's planning with me in all aspects of the entertainment for the wedding. I received several compliments after the wedding from guests who were truly impressed with quality of the music. Mike knows his business, especially the types of music to play as the wedding goes from introductions to dinner and dancing. I definitely WILL be using Mike again at future events.

Working with Mike was amazing, he made every step of the way easy and enjoyable! He came to our house and met with me and my husband, and we loved his website where we had our own personal page to personalize our wedding at our leisure! MIKE WAS AWESOME. All of my family and friends are still raving about him. He played great music, played exactly what we wanted him to, and was really good about keeping people out on the dance floor. Mike did a great job in helping us to find the right timing for our music and was flexible in being able to do the music for our outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail reception, and then our reception. He did it all beautifully. We also got our photo booth from him which was perfect. We had a photo booth assistant and great props, and even got an album and USB at the end of the night with all of the photos - it was so funny! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and everyone.

My husband and I had the best experience working with Mike Jandey for our wedding, we can't say enough great things about him! From the minute we met him we knew that he would be perfect for our special day. He was so easy to work with all along, get in touch with, pleasant and always available for questions. We didn't give him a list with that many songs to play at the wedding just general ideas of what we liked, and I can tell you that the dance floor was always full!! Mike knew exactly what to play for every single part of the night whether it be cock tail hour, dinner music, or the last minute bouquet toss I added in. If you are looking for an amazing DJ who will give you a stress free experience and do an amazing job overall you should go with Mike. Mike was great! My husband and I are so happy we chose him to DJ our wedding. He was great to work with before the wedding and helped us a lot with some things we just didn't know. The day of, he was amazing! The dance floor was packed the whole time! The whole event went off without a hitch!

Mike was a referral from friends who hired him for their wedding so we knew right away that he was going to be good. He ended up being way better than good. The dance floor was literally packed all night and he even had a huge group of people up on the floor during dinner service which is rare at a wedding. Leading up to the big day itself was a breeze. Mike was responsive, totally flexible with all of our requests and very professional. We are so, so happy he was a (huge) part of our day.

Mike Janedy is the best! My husband and I went to two weddings where he was the DJ, so we knew exactly who to call when we were booking vendors. Mike has an online form that makes the whole process easy. It helped us store the songs we knew we wanted and helped to remind of the songs we didn't even think about (i.e. songs to walk down the aisle to)! We filled out the information before our final meeting with him and it made everything go so smoothly. We told him exactly what we wanted - new music that people can dance to and none of the traditional wedding songs (i.e. electric slide, we are family, etc.). Mike absolutely nailed it! He was there early and all set up and got all of our songs exactly right. The dance floor was PACKED the whole night and he even played longer than we booked him for (the venue allowed it!) because everyone was having such a great time. My husband and I, and I'm sure ALL of our guests too, would highly recommend Mike Janedy!

Jen and I were thrilled to have worked with Mike for our wedding. He actually came to us through a referral by another couple that had an equally positive experience with Mike. For our wedding reception, Mike put on a great DJ set for us per our song selections and actually went beyond the call of duty by helping the bridal party get assembled for the bridal party introductions. In general, Jen and I felt like we were in very capable hands throughout the entire wedding reception. Mike is a consummate professional and we would highly recommend him for any wedding, reception or event.

Mike did an amazing job with the music at our wedding. He played a great mix of songs that was inclusive to all of our guests. If we could give Mike Janedy 10 stars we absolutely would! From the minute we started communicating with Mike he was completely attentive and answered every crazy question we had! He gave great guidance on song selection and how to plan the different music for cocktail hour, meals, dancing, etc. The portal he uses is so easy and convenient and helped us figure out what songs to use and even gave us ideas for song selection.
Our reception was absolutely incredible largely due to Mike and his music selections! We knew we would have a large dancing crowd but never did we think that people would be dancing before entrees even went out!! Mike played amazing music during the meal as well so people jumped back onto the dance floor as soon as they were done! In addition to the music, Mike was a fantastic MC. He does incredible with introductions and is great at getting the crowd's attention for important events like cake cutting and parent dances.

DJ Mike Janedy is GREAT! My family used him before for my sisters wedding so this was our second time, and we were not disappointed. Mike is so kind, and professional. He has an amazing website set up where you can input/look up all the songs you want and add them to different categories. Not only is this fun to do before your wedding it also reassures you have all songs important to you played. On top of that Mike will come out to your house to meet with you before the wedding and go over everything you want. He is simply the best. He played music that kept the crowd going, he really knows what he is doing. If you are looking for a DJ book him asap- as he fills up quickly!

When choosing my vendors for my wedding, there was never a question regarding who I would have as my DJ. My husband and I met with Mike at the beginning of our planning stage and were sold immediately! Mike was responsive and helped us create a personal feel for our guests during both the ceremony and the reception. His website has an interactive piece, which I loved, where you can list and organize the music you want (and don't want) to hear. He provided a beautiful DOJO light with our names, and even helped me coordinate a surprise for my groom - playing a song that I had written for him. Mike kept the crowd on the dance floor and accommodated my requests, along with those of our guests. I couldn't have asked for more!

We also rented a Photo Booth through Mike and it was a blast! Our guests had so much fun and the book he provided with the photo strips inside was such a cool memento to have! Before I got married Mike was always the first DJ I would recommend, and that hasn't changed! Highly recommend!!

Mike is an absolutely amazing DJ! When I first started planning my wedding, I had to have Mike. I was even willing to change my date if Mike was unavailable. Mike really knows how to interact with the crowd and keep them up on the dance floor all night! He is a true professional and really understands the flow of a wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike for DJ, uplighting, and floor monogram. My guests could not stop talking about the beautiful lights, floor design, and the great choice in music. DJ Mike Janedy was absolutely fantastic to work with. The week before the wedding he came to our house for a final meeting to go over plans, songs, dances, and names. He really knows his business and how to get people, and most importantly keep people on the dance floor. Any changes at any point that you need made, Mike can seamlessly shift on the fly and accommodate them. I am not my any means a dancer and my mother son dance was a little unconventional. We danced to Uptown Funk (which shocked everyone as i dont dance) We wanted to have people join us on the dance floor at a certain point in the song. When I told Mike about this he said great no problem we can do that. The parent dances are usually between salad and the main course. The day after I told Mike this I received a phone call from him that he had an idea to move the parent dances until after dinner and do mine last. He said it would get people dancing and he would keep them there after our dance.......he was right. I would highly recommend DJ Mike Janedy to anybody

When my husband and I got engaged - one of the first things we did was make sure we had Mike as our DJ. We have been to many weddings and he really is the best out there. It's been 3 weeks and people are still asking us who our DJ was and if they could have a copy of his playlist. Mike's website made the planning process extremely easy and when we met with him before the wedding we were confident that he would take care of anything we may have missed. His choices were perfect for our crowd and the dance floor was full all night. Not only are his music selections great, but he has a way of making the entire night run smoothly. The up lighting was exactly what we needed to complete the room and the photo booth was a huge hit - another part of the wedding people are still talking about. Mike even made us a CD with all of our songs which was awesome.. Mike is such a professional DJ! He offered to meet my husband and me at our house before the wedding event. That was where a lot of our ideas were shared. We knew that we had a wide variety of musical tastes to please (which is why we opted for a DJ verses a band), so we discussed how this could happen. He did a great job fitting in all these genres at the wedding. Everything went flawlessly. He and I even discussed having my father sing to me (the same song he sang to my mom at their wedding). That was an amazing part of the night. Mike made this happen, without sounding like karaoke or cheesy in any way. It was the highlight of the night!

DJ Mike was a blast to work with! He is an industry veteran and truly knows how to keep your entire reception on the dance floor. His focus is on the music and making only the announcements you ask for. He even coordinated a 20 second, unique entrance for each pair in our wedding party (which was hilarious). His photobooth guys are awesome -- my guests had so much fun taking photos, and now we have the best guestbook from our wedding. It's really awesome to have a photo of people AT your actual wedding laughing their butts off.

Mike was amazing. He took the time to get to know us as a couple. We were planning out of State (NYC to cape Cod, MA) so it was a lot of phone and email. He was accomodating and gracious and offered solutions not more problems (who needs that when planning a wedding??!?) we were nervous about being a same sex couple but he totally put us at ease. He went out of his way to meet us along with the Best Man (my brother) in person one Sat morning to go over Eveything. There, we learned he was not only super professional and talented, but Funny as well!! He came to the rehearsal dinner the night before and was early on Sat am ensuring everything went smoothly. It did, he was amazing! Kelvin Marshall-Graham and I cant say enough about Mike. If you need a DJ - he is IT for sure.

We could not have been happier with the job that Mike did our wedding. Prior to the wedding we had numerous questions about how exactly things would work on the night of the wedding and he was always prompt in responding to us. He actually made himself available to meet with us one extra time earlier in the planning.

Mike makes it very easy to list what songs and type of music you'd like. He happily took our requests and made sure the do not play list was adhered to. He could not have been more personable or professional throughout the entire process.

The night of the wedding was amazing, Mike kept everything in order and had the dance floor going all night. We also used his Photo Booth service and it was amazing as well, the guests had a blast taking photos and the attendant could not have treated the guests any better, everyone was raving about Mike's work that night and the photo booth.

Our wedding was actually the third wedding that I have been to that Mike was the DJ at and I could not recommend him any higher, there is no need to look anywhere else.

Brides and grooms – if you want a DJ who knows how to move the crowd, look no further. Mike Janedy is your man. We gave Mike hardly any direction – we just gave him an overview of the size and makeup of the guest list, one song request and one do-not-play. Even the first dance requests were thrown at him very last minute. But Mike knows what he is doing. His play list was crowd friendly. We heard compliments from all age groups. Everyone was dancing, from age 2 to 92. He knew just when to ramp up the tempo and get the young crowd out on the dance floor. We have so many pictures of empty dinner tables – no one was sitting, they were all out dancing!
Mike is a true pro. He knows his music, his equipment and speakers were top notch, his voice as an announcer was just right and, most importantly, he is a master at reading and moving the crowd. We had heard that some DJs are more about themselves, monopolizing the microphone, etc. Mike is just the opposite – it is NOT about him, it is about his craft of using music to help create a joyful celebration.
We can’t recommend him highly enough. We want to give him six stars. Or seven. Five stars are not enough!

I can't stress enough how Mike added to the enjoyment of our wedding day, or should I say party. He was extremely flexible, but also had great ideas on how to make the most out of our time. Mike was awesome, and we are so happy that we were able to book him for our wedding! People were telling us that they were up dancing during the cocktail hour! He got us our obscure songs that we requested and even spliced one together for us. He was worth every penny and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a great DJ. He had the party going on to the very last minute and very few people left early. We absolutely would use him again!

We are so glad that we hired DJ Mike Janedy to DJ our wedding. We were hesitant to have a DJ after attending several weddings with self-centered, overly talkative, annoying DJs. DJ Mike's style is exactly the opposite. At every point in the planning process and during our wedding, Mike exhibited the utmost professionalism. DJ Mike was very attentive, quickly responded to our emails and met with us several times prior to the wedding. We felt his fees were fair and he never tried to sell us anything extra, which we appreciated on a tight budget.

We particularly enjoyed setting up our own play list through his website - it was really easy to use. DJ Mike made it a point to check out our venue on his own time prior to our wedding so he knew exactly what equipment to bring. We were also impressed by how well prepared Mike was for the event itself - he had extras of everything, just in case. During the wedding, he seamlessly facilitated our introduction and reception. He knew exactly which song to play to get the crowd on their feet and how to redirect everyone's attention without saying much. We received many compliments from our family and friends on how fantastic our DJ was. We highly recommend DJ Mike - he will not disappoint.

Mike Janedy was absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end of our wedding planning process. He took the time to sit down with us early on and explain all of our options and he gave us many great ideas to think about. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding he responded to all of our questions very promptly and made planning our music choices extremely easy with the use of his online website. On the day of the wedding he had the dance floor packed the entire night and made the evening run smoothly. We received countless comments from our guests at how great the music and wedding was - all thanks to Mike and his team.

Not only was Mike's DJ skills and knowledge excellent, he also provided us with uplighting and a photo booth filled with all the props and hats you can think of. Again, prior to the wedding Mike sat down with us to go over lighting colors and picture designs. He continuously worked with us until the colors were absolutely perfect for the day of the wedding. The photo booth was an absolute hit and provided us with a personal guest book full of many hysterical memories.

I highly recommend Mike Janedy as a DJ and for the use of uplighting and his photo booth. Thanks for creating such a memorable night!

Kenny and I loved our choice in DJ's! The website it so easy and fun to use. There are so many wonderful songs to review and sort by Genere, Year, Artist or Title. He's a nice guy, knows the order of events and knows how to "go with the flow". He was a leader in guiding us AND the hotel. He made our night by playing our requested music and playing music requested by our guests. The uplighting was necessary, created ambiance and the CD's as gifts to our guests we're wonderful! Quality, professionalism and flexiblility created a priceless value to our experience with Mike. I know we'll stay in touch with him for future events; he'll be the first DJ reccommended when asked! I have nothing but great things to say about Mike and his being our DJ at our wedding in the summer of 2012. He was responsive from the very beginning, and flexible throughout. His website was very helpful and allowed us to easily craft the experience from a distance (we live out west but got married in Massachusetts, so the vast majority of our planning was done remotely). Mike responded to every one of our requests and did a wonderful job rolling with changes as they occurred. The day of the wedding he was very friendly and flexible. I greatly appreciated how professional he was throughout the entire experience as well; his experience shown through. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough.

I can't say enough good things about DJ Mike Janedy and what an amazing job he did at our wedding. He was extremely helpful and attentive from the very beginning of the process, taking time to respond to calls and emails in a timely fashion as well as meeting with us in person to be sure he covered every single detail. His website makes it very simple to customize the music selection if you wish (we left the majority of it up to him and were very pleased with the outcome). Our dance floor was packed for the entire night! He also has the option of adding a photo booth, which we included in our package. The photo booth with props was a huge hit with everyone young and old. The attendant was professional, helpful, and friendly always ensuring that there were enough copies of the photo for each person in the group. We met with several other DJs before selecting Mike, and chose him because of his experience and professionalism. We were recently at a friends' event and had people coming up to us asking if we could call DJ Mike to have him take over for a not so great DJ that was playing. We are still hearing about the phenomenal job that Mike did at our wedding, and cannot recommend him enough.

Mike did a great job doing our wedding he played everything that we requested and more! He definitely made our night a blast, he got everyone out on the dance floor and made sure everyone was having a good time! He also did a wonderful job of doing a photo slide show for our cocktail hour and having it play throughout the night! Thanks for everything Mike!

DJ Mike Janedy performed the DJ service for my wife and I on 6/4/11 at the Pembroke Country Club and we couldn't have asked for any more than he gave us. He was very professional (appropriate dress and coverage for his equiptment), took the time to meet with us when we were available, went over in detail exactly how everything was going to flow that day, did everything that we asked (asked for certain songs not to be played and did not hear a single one of them), was very flexible - the day before the wedding we changed the introduction song for my wife and I (the foghorn and the music that's played after a Bruins goal since it was game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals), and kept the croud informed about what was going on in the game.

All of that seems like it's enough but he went a step further. While we were waiting to be introduced my wife started to freak out a bit and Mike took the time to talk to her and calm her down and let her know he wasn't going to do a thing until she was ready to go.

We were lucky enough to find DJ Mike Janedy and were lucky enough to have him DJ our wedding. Many of the 250+ guests that we had raved about him and I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding or even a party. I hope that this review will help anyone who is looking for a DJ.

Mike was an awesome DJ for our wedding. He was very responsive to the type of music we wanted to play, had an excellent (and easy to use) online system that let us pick all the songs we wanted. He also got back to us very quickly every time we had a question, and met with us before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page with everything.

Our guests had a great time and everyone comment on how great the music selection was. Thanks DJ Mike!

I can’t begin to say enough great things about DJ Mike. I can promise if you choose him then you will not have to worry about ANYTHING! Mike knew what kind of music we liked, knew we were a big dance group and had everyone on the floor the entire night! Not only are we still hearing from guests that he was the best DJ they have ever heard but we are also hearing how great his pictures came out (Mike also takes pictures of the reception while he is DJ’ing) !

I know for us choosing our DJ was by far the more important choose when it came to our vendors. DJ Mike was the best choose we could have made and we could not be any happier with his service!!

Where to begin.. from day one we knew Mike was going to be excellent to work with. From our initial contact with him all the way thru to the big day. His professionalism exceeded our expectations - from the very start we were blown away by his portfolio he sends prospective clients. Mike is very responsive and flexible to work with couples plan out their "perfect day". We were planning our wedding for over a year and Mike was there to help us along the way - even if it was just to listen and help make suggestions to help make our day perfect. Then the big day .. we truly couldn't have asked for more. As I said, we knew he'd be good but he truly was THAT GOOD. Several guests said they've never seen so many people on a dance floor for SO long. The floor was packed - all night! That was all due to Mike. He played a perfect variety that catered to all of our guests. Mike also did our uplighting for our reception. This, too was beautiful. We enjoyed every second working with him and would HIGHLY recommend him to any couple looking to make their night perfect! Thanks Mike for such an amazing wedding!!

DJ Mike was extremely profession & was great to work with. When we met for our final consultation about a month before our wedding he showed us all the back up systems he uses to ensure us that nothing could stop him from making sure everyone had a good time. We were very impressed with all the technology he's using to make sure that nothing goes wrong. The night of the wedding everyone was on the dance floor before dinner even started! We opted for the dollar dance & DJ Mike had everyone doing the can can - it was hilarious! Would definitely recommend DJ Mike & his brother to everyone in the area, he did a great job!

Choosing DJ Mike Janedy to DJ our wedding was one of our best decisions that we made during the whole wedding planning/process. Words cannot describe how happy we were with him...but we will try.

Mike was very easy to work with during the planning. I was very impressed with the songs he played and even more impressed that he managed to find a number of songs that nobody else had heard of. A few weeks before the wedding, he came to our home and sat down with us. During this meeting he gave us some great ideas for things that we can do during the wedding.

DJ Mike Janedy is by far the best DJ to choose for any event!

Mike was the DJ for our wedding and we got countless compliments about him; the dance floor was packed during the entire reception! Mike was accomodating when we needed to make last minute changes and even put our wedding music on CDs for us to keep!

Mike did a wonderful job at our wedding. He made the whole process stressless, we didnt have to worry about asking him to do anything he was very well prepared for the wedding day. DJ Mike Janedy was by far the best choice for our special night! Meeting with him prior to our event was easy, care-free and fun! His library of music listed on his site is extensive and it was so easy to customize our play list. He was great to work with for all of our special requests, too. He truly has any song that you could ever want played! If you don't see a song listed - just ask him, I'm sure he has it!!! Not only was he a great DJ, but he also took pictures of important moments during the night when the photographer was no where to be found!!! I definitely recommend DJ Mike Janedy to everyone - totally worth his fee and a true professional.

Mike was great to work with! He was very responsive to all my questions even my last minute, night before the wedding changes/questions. He played the music we requested and gave us a thumb drive with the music saved onto it. I would definitely recommend Mike to everyone.

Mike is a true professional. He helped make the process very easy for us. He had all of our guests up and out of their seats dancing and having fun as soon as our reception started. The staff that he brought with him to help with the photobooth we rented were very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a DJ. He's GREAT! Also, if you can afford to get the photobooth then you should. It kept our guests up and moving around. It also entertained our young neices and nephews.
