  Mike is a fantastic DJ and great guy, cannot recommend enough

  Mike was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for to make our wedding day amazing. He was incredibly friendly, collaborative and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process and made it stress-free for us. Mike is an extremely talented guitarist and played acoustic guitar during the ceremony and cocktail hour, which added an intimate and personal touch that we (and our guests) loved. He also did a great job emceeing, making sure that everything ran smoothly and on time. During the dancing after dinner, he had a perfect mix of old and new, and played music that got all of our guests on the dance floor. It was truly so special seeing all the people we love dancing and having a great time, and Mike was a massive part of that. His music taste is fantastic and he really does have a knack for feeling out the vibe of a crowd and playing just the right song for the moment. We cannot recommend him enough, thank you Mike for helping to make our special day so lovely!

  Wonderful musician and DJ!

  Mike was our ceremony musician and our DJ. He kept the evening running smoothly and was a blast. He was very organized, professional, and the whole evening was seamless. He was really great to work with and even learned a piece that I really wanted for walking down the aisle. We were so happy with Mike and highly recommend him!

  Best DJ Ever!!!

  Mike was amazing! He was great at communicating before and at the event. He played all of the songs that we requested, and when we ran out, through his experience and expertise, he added more seamlessly and kept the party going. We can’t wait to use him again some day and hope you do too! We promise you will not be disappointed!

  Wedding with DJ Mike Hongslo

  Cannot say enough great things about DJ Mike! He did the music for both our ceremony and our reception and made planning extremely easy. His approach is stress free and helped us think through parts of our day that we didn’t even realize needed to be planned. He played all the songs we wanted and mixed in songs we didn’t realize we wanted. He pays attention to the dance floor to tell when certain songs are what people are looking for and when it is time to go to the next song. We had multiple people tell us what a great job he did and one of our friends is even using him for their wedding! If you are looking for a DJ to get people on the dance floor and keep them there, DJ Mike is the way to go!

  Best in the Business!!!

  DJ Mike is by far the best DJ out there! I’ve never heard so many people rant and rave about a DJ in my life. Couldn’t have had a better music selection to keep the guest dancing all night long! 
  
  On top of it, the guy absolutely crushes the guitar! He works with you and will learn the song at your request..assuming he doesn’t already know it. Guy deserves more than 5 stars!

  10/10 would recommend Mike!

  My husband and I couldn’t be happier about our experience with Mike! He made the planning process so easy and was great at communicating — always responding quickly and providing us with great music ideas for our wedding.
  
  Mike played the guitar during our ceremony and it was the perfect addition to our special day! We received so many compliments on having live music during the ceremony.
  
  Mike did a great job keeping the night on schedule with announcements, speeches, and of course keeping the dance floor going all evening! We would highly recommend Mike for your wedding or upcoming event!!

  Wedding June 6th 2025

  Mike is an outstanding DJ, guitarist, and organizer for any event. Mike helped make our wedding stress free and seamless. He was organized, fun, knew all the cues, and helped make the day as special as it was. Weddings can be a lot of stress, especially the day of, and having Mike perform acoustic and DJ throughout our ceremony and wedding put us at ease and allowed for us and all of our guests to enjoy the day/night! We would highly recommend having Mike perform any wedding or event as he is hardworking, he cares, and will always assist any other vendors/guests if needed, even if that is outside his role for the event. Thank you, Mike!

  DJ who does it all!

  Mike was awesome to work with! Not only was he a great value, professional, and reliable, he kept the dance floor pumped and played all our requests on guitar for the special moments of our ceremony. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

  Awesome DJ!

  Mike was very professional and had a great attitude the entire night! He kept the music flowing and the party alive all night long! I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for an overall AWESOME DJ!!!

  Great experience! Will recommend to friends and family.

  Mike was great to work with and killed it on our wedding day! Audio worked perfect for the ceremony, his acoustic set was great during the cocktail hour, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor.

  Wedding DJ

  Mike was an amazing DJ and MC for our wedding. He had a wonderful DJ system and our day ran smoothly. Our dance floor was full and fun the ENTIRE night. He followed our playlists while working to add his own DJ flair. We would highly recommend him. He made our day truly special!

  5 stars for DJ Mike Hongslo!

  Mike did an amazing job at our wedding at the MN Landscape Arboretum. He played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and he absolutely nailed it - he even learned our recessional song a few days before the wedding! He did a fantastic job emceeing during our cocktail hour/dinner and kept everything moving at a good pace throughout the evening. We heard nothing but positive comments about him from our guests!
  
  We really appreciated the survey that Mike had us fill out, which included a lot of detailed questions about what types of music we like and wanted to hear during each portion of the reception, what songs we wanted to be played during the ceremony, who was giving speeches, etc. It gave us a lot to think about that we hadn’t initially considered! Mike referred back to our survey responses during a brief phone check-in we had with him prior to our wedding, which was awesome!
  
  Mike is very kind, professional, and detail-oriented, he responds to emails quickly, and is very well-versed in running a wedding reception! And, of course, he is extremely talented. We are so happy that we chose Mike as our DJ and would highly recommend him!

  Perfect for Weddings!!!

  Mike played guitar for our wedding ceremony in August 2022. He was well-prepared, rehearsed, and made the day perfect for us, our families, and our guests. Prior to our wedding day, we met with Mike and asked him to learn some specific songs. He learned and rehearsed the songs prior to our day and executed them perfectly!
  
  Mike showed up on time, brought all of his own equipment, and coordinated with the other vendors to ensure our ceremony ran as smoothly as possible. Despite the stress of wedding planning, working with Mike was stress-free and easy! He kept us well-assured and created the perfect musical ambiance for us to relax and enjoy our day!
