Our D.j. Selina, she was great and consistent. She answered all of our questions, and helped put together our music list. She kept us at ease and made the day go smooth with all of our music. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Magic Entertainment and the owner, Matt. Hiring Matt is like hiring a second wedding planner. Planning was super fun and informative, pricing is up front, and Matt and his team will do everything in their power to ensure you have an amazing wedding. His staff is fun and professional and really know their stuff when it comes to entertaining. The portal for payment and for selecting music to play and NOT play is also incredibly helpful. The packages with Matt's photography and videography business are also very reasonable and helpful.

You need them as your DJ!
Matt and the entire DJ magic crew were amazing to work with. They were there to answer any and all questions we had leading up to the wedding, and helped make decisions for us when we weren’t sure on what direction to go from their years of DJ and MC experience. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch thanks to their planning, organization, and ability to read the crowd and adjust on the fly. Wedding at Fields Reserve with DJ Mike (Forrest as the DJ)
Forrest was our DJ at the Fields Reserve and did he impress! He was a perfect balance between being an MC for the wedding (ie handling small logistics and getting people where they needed to go - which is no small task given our wedding size of 275 people) and was right on point with all the logistics that we never had to worry about.
For the dance floor - his music choice was a great balance between what we requested ahead of time, a few tweaks based on the crowd’s mood, and taking into account an encore or two when the party didn’t want to stop :)

Our Dj Mike was fantastic! He was very profession and worked with our schedule in the planning process, was timely in the setup the day before, and really brought the party to life! Selina was beyond amazing at getting to know is and our background, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd!

We had Selina as our DJ for mine and my husbands wedding. She was very attentive to our needs and kept things moving along throughout the night. I had zero stress knowing she was there to delegate. What an absolutely fantastic experience! The team at DJ Magic Entertainment did a fantastic job of preparing for the big day by providing both our ceremony and reception music. It is certain to say that they took a lot of weight of our shoulders as they provided excellent communication and suggestions during the planning process. They also did a phenomenal job of entertaining our guests throughout the whole night with superb light effects and even mixing in some German Oktoberfest music to entertain my German relatives. Such a great experience!
We had Selina and Zach at our wedding. When we got them for our DJ service, we had no idea the value they would bring. Selina assisted in emceeing/hosting and helped throughout the night assisting in coordinating pictures, the processional, and constantly asked if we needed anything. Zach was such a fun DJ and even danced with the guests and assisted in drawing more people to the dance floor. They stuck to our requested playlist and even played a couple of the kid songs we requested for our young nieces and nephews. They were just overall wonderful and we don’t think our day would have gone as smoothly without their great service. Matt was also great and very responsive to all our phone calls and questions.

The Best DJ!
We hired DJ magic for our wedding on 9/24/22. They were incredible! Many of my guests thought my DJ was my wedding coordinator because she was so helpful with coordinating with the other vendors and making sure my husband and I had everything we needed! When it came time for dancing she played all the songs and kept people on the dance floor all night! Her and her coworker even came out on the dance floor with us! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

From the initial vendor setup and contract process, rescheduling flexibility during Covid, the lead up meeting with Selina to talk through the plan for the day, and then the day itself, they were amazing to work with! We are in the stage of life where we attend 5-6 weddings a year. I have never had more fun than at the receptions DJ'd by DJ Magic. Their DJs work quickly to set up and tear down, and it is very obvious how seriously they take their job. At our wedding, the dance floor was packed all night and our DJ was really amazing at judging the vibe and keeping the party going! We really appreciated a pre-event meeting with our DJ to ensure everything ran smoothly without us having to find time to squeeze that meeting in the day of the wedding. Matt and his team were amazing. I found this company at one of the bridal expos and their energy drew me to them. They were one of the first vendors we booked. Matt met with us in person prior to booking. They have a website you can use to add “must play” and “do not play” songs, which was really great to use. Our DJ was Selina and we met with her a few weeks before the big day to get the details sorted out. She was very thorough and helped keep us organized. She absolutely killed it during our wedding. She was professional and knew how to read the crowd and what songs to play next to keep the dance floor going. Mike even stopped by to make sure the day went perfect. It was a such a nice surprise! We can’t say enough about this team. We also booked a photobooth through them and our guests loved it!!

We loved DJ Magic!
From the moment we met with Matt at Starbucks, we knew we had picked the right DJ company. We were also so lucky to be paired with DJ Selena for our wedding! She was super organized & professional - we knew our wedding music needs would be in good hands after one meeting with her. She was also great to work with the many surprises our family and friends planned for our wedding day. From a custom mother/son dance, a maid of honor rap & a surprise group dance, Selena made it all happen!

Matt made our day fun and entertaining for our guests ! His charisma and humor really added the special touch, he thought of things we would have never thought of and reminded us what was important and what NOT to forget… oh what a day it was. Not everything went perfectly but Matt made sure it didn’t skip a ‘beat’ I feel like we have been friends forever. Enjoyable from start to finish!
We were paired up with our perfect DJ match (Selina) through DJ Magic! She was a true rockstar and her enthusiasm helped us have fun and get creative with what we wanted for our day/night! Selina knew how to make the night fun and keep our guests engaged without being 'cheesy' or too much which was important to us. We continue to have friends mention how great she was! Selina was thorough and asked great questions to ensure she knew just what we wanted every step of the way as well as made herself very flexible and available if we ever needed to hop on a call to discuss details. Through it all, I felt like Selina 'got us' and we enjoyed her company on our special day! Every step was made easy and efficient through our experience with DJ Magic.

Fun Night by all
Matt Long with DJ Magic went above and beyond our expectations of a DJ for our wedding. The music and audio during the ceremony went over very well which was great because that is always my pet peeves at weddings when you can't hear the officiant and vows. Not only did he keep the dance floor packed all night but he made it a point to get to know everyone making speeches and get a little background to be able to make a personal introduction for each of them. He was sure to listen to our requests during our final meeting and checked every box we had. During the reception he did a great job of reading the room and if a song came on and the dance floor started to dwindle he was quick to fade out the song and play something that immediately packed the floor again. He made our day so special we could not have asked for a better DJ.

Energetic, professional and fun officiant and DJ!
2020 was a crazy year! The customer service and professionalism of Michael and Matt at DJ Magic was amazing during the unprecedented Covid challenges. We had to modify our wedding plans so many times we lost count. With each change we made, Michael and Matt at DJ Magic were so accommodating. Ultimately, we ended up having to split up our wedding ceremony and reception. Michael was originally booked to be our officiant and DJ for our September wedding. Covid changed all of that and we ended up having just a small ceremony in September 2020 and a reception in May 2021. Michael and Matt at DJ Magic went above and beyond to ensure our 2 events were perfect, and they didn't even charge us any additional fees for having 2 separate events. Michael's personality was so warm, friendly and professional. He prepared and delivered a beautiful ceremony for us, then when he put his DJ hat on, he did an amazing job of keeping us on schedule and energizing the room!

Michael C. with DJ Magic was great to communicate with and bounce ideas off of. He knew just what songs to play to amp up the party, and we have heard over and over how fun our wedding was! Great DJ for your event!
I was so impressed with DJ Magic at my recent wedding! Matt was incredibly responsive to emails and took the time to have a one-on-one phone call with me the week of our wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. We were also able to pick a list of songs we wanted played and songs we didn't want played which was really important to us. Music was crucial for the day to go as planned and my husband and I could not have been more impressed. I would absolutely recommend DJ Magic to anyone for their event!

Exceeded Expectations!
Having a skilled DJ can make a significant impact on your wedding day. DJ Magic Entertainment was recommended to me from our photographers, and I am so glad we listened! I will admit that I didn't know the impact that a DJ has on an event; coordinating the songs for the wedding procession and recession, communicating with the photographers, entertaining guests during cocktail hour and dinner, and adapting to the crowds mood throughout the reception. Matt was a pleasure to work with and I could not have asked for a better experience. Matt kept the crowd engaged and was able to adapt to the mood. He did an excellent job reading the crowd and what types of songs people were dancing to, there was not a single song that I did not love. Matt also did a fantastic job playing songs that were kid and adult appropriate, I was so impressed. I would recommend DJ Magic Entertainment over and over again. I am an individual who loves music and dancing but has trouble identifying today's top hits, Matt took all of my worries away and provided the perfect atmosphere for us! Matt really cared about our day and started off by asking if we needed anything at all and that he was there for us if we needed ANYTHING, pretty impressive if you ask me. I truly believe that our wedding day would not have been as enjoy without DJ Magic Entertainment and Matt!

The DJ met with us to go over every aspect of the reception. He was meticulous in getting all the details squared away up front from the wedding party introductions, to the toasts, and finally what music we did or did not want played.

If You Want A Party... Choose DJ Magic Entertainment
DJ Magic Entertainment was the PERFECT DJ selection for our wedding. Our DJ was Andrew and he was phenomenal! We talked with him a month before the wedding and went over the timeline, what our ceremony was going to look like, rain plan, and he answered any questions we had. On our wedding day, he arrived early to set up and was VERY flexible with us. On our wedding day, we had rain and we had to push the ceremony back a half hour. Andrew was great with going with the flow, playing our cocktail music early and then jumping outside to play our ceremony music. The after party was amazing. He played our requests, gauged the crowd and kept the party going all night. He was personable, interacted with the crowd, danced with us, and made the wedding continue to feel like us. We highly recommend DJ Magic Entertainment! Their customer service, interactions with us, and quality/selection of music were amazing. Look no further!

I had a wonderful experience working with DJ Magic. Our specific DJ was Michael. He was very professional and prompt during the event. As the bride, I really appreciated that he took care of all the sound requirements for the ceremony and reception (which were in different locations.) Really happy with DJ Magic
Once I chose DJ Magic, the music for my wedding was the easiest thing to plan, which is a big deal for anyone that's ever planned a wedding. I hired DJ Magic to do outdoor music for the ceremony, music during my cocktail hour, at dinner, mics for toasts, and the reception music. I was paired up with Michael Contreras and he was great! We met once to have a quick meeting and touch base about the music. He was so nice and even told me that last minute song changes were totally fine! Everyone had such a fun time at the wedding. I am not a dancer at all, but I was dancing until the last song, having so much fun with my friends and family. The company is really responsive and professional. They have the option of putting most of your details about your wedding and the music online so there's not this back and forth the whole time. I highly recommend them!

Matt and his team were excellent. I was planning my wedding from a distance (Wisconsin Dells from Chicago), so good communication was the key to success when working with my vendors. I had to do a lot of the planning over the phone and through email, which DJ Magic was awesome enough to work with me on. We met with Tyler, our assigned DJ, who helped us personalize our event to make it our own. We had specific wants for uplighting, mother/son dance, speeches, tribute video and our grand march, which turned out great! We had a full dance floor all night long and had several compliments from our guests on the song variety. We also used Ella Bella for our videography services. It was great to have a 'one-stop-shop' for a big portion of our vendor needs.

We came upon DJ Magic at a wedding show and were pleased with how knowledgeable and nice they seemed! We sat down with the owner, Matt, for an initial consultation and he was a complete professional. He answered all our questions thoroughly along with suggesting questions we should be asking other vendors to make sure we were getting the best service. When we decided to go with DJ Magic, we worked with DJ Mike and he was amazing! He is extremely nice and made a huge effect to get to know us and our plans. The day of the wedding, his coordination was crucial including taking time to touch base with all our wedding party/speakers so they felt comfortable with the flow of events. Along with this, his selection of music was excellent! We had a mix of older and younger guests so we wanted to make sure we had music that appealed to everyone. He did such a good job we had several people say it was the best music they had heard at a wedding in a long time! Finally, at most weddings I have been to, DJs sit behind their booth all day. Not Mike! He was mingling with guests, dancing, and generally making things enjoyable for everyone. I would definitely recommend DJ Magic and I would most certainly recommend DJ Mike!

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with DJ Magic Entertainment. Matt helped us with our Ceremony and our Reception. He helped things run as smooth as possible. Without him I am not sure it would have been as perfect. He was the glue that held it all together. He was extremely professional and knew exactly what to do and when. He defiantly got the crowed excited. He was super entertaining and he had the majority of our guests out on the dance floor for most of the night. I was shocked with how well our DJ Mike did! Most wedding I’ve been to have their DJs sitting behind the booth all day. When mike hopped over to do the Cha Cha slide with the guests, I had to do a double take. Mike kept the partying going all night. Never once was that dance floor empty! He’s great at what he does, and I’d highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a DJ!

DJ Magic was perfect for our wedding reception. They were very responsive from the beginning and made everything easy and stress free on our end every step of the way. My fiancee and I planned our wedding long distance and the DJ we were placed with, Andrew, made it easy. We scheduled skype meetings when needed and corresponded via e-mail. Andrew was helpful, professional, and funny - our guests all loved him and danced the night away! We also used DJ Magic's photobooth which was great fun! We highly recommend DJ Magic Entertainment for your next event!

DJ Magic Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding! They were professional, courteous, and extremely helpful from the first meeting all the way through our wedding and beyond. We still remain in contact as we used their videography service as well. They went above and beyond what was asked of them and even went to pickup our late night pizza snack when the pizza place told us they wouldn't deliver (definitely saved the day with that move)!! Awesome experience all the way through!!

I tell everyone about DJ Magic! Matt & his crew are energetic & work extremely hard to make sure that your day is everything you'd want it to be. They listened to everything we said & incorporated it. They don't tell you how it is, they let you be in charge & say how you want it. To me the DJ makes or breaks your wedding & everyone of our guests said our wedding was amazing! Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful experience thru the planning & thru our wedding!

We had Tyler as our DJ for our wedding and he was AWESOME!!! He was great about communicating with me throughout the night and sticking to my timeline. I loved how he was dancing the whole night and played great music. Had many guests comment on how awesome he was! I highly recommend Tyler!

Andrew was fantastic! We only met with him once prior, he took the time to get to know us and what we wanted from the day. He also took many of our last minute request in stride...and, our guests loved him!

It would be impossible to relay how amazing Matt was. He made our day so special and kept the dance floor full the ENTIRE night. In fact, he stayed PAST our agreed to "cut-off" time because there were so many people still dancing. Our guests couldn't tell us enough how amazing he was and how he not only made the entire wedding about my husband and I, but that he knew how to read the crowd to keep the dance floor full. Believe me when I say you will NOT be disappointed. Trust me... book with DJ Magic.

Amazing!!! Matt did an awesome job with our wedding! We would recommended them again and again. The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. We were able to decide on the details of the wedding that we felt strongly about and Matt was very helpful with all our questions. The night went very smoothly. They are very professional and know what they are doing!

My husband and I loved DJ Magic! Matt did an amazing job directing the speeches, cake cutting, dancing, and playing some amazing music. They were very professional and it was one aspect of the wedding I didn't need to worry about as I was confident that they would do an amazing job! And they definitely delivered! We were very impressed and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great DJ for their wedding!

The owner Matt was the DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! You could tell he has been doing this for a long time and knows exactly what he is doing. It was nice to be able to kind of help create some of the playlist by choosing some songs not to play and to play. He did such a good with song selection from there. He was also the MC for the night and kept things going smoothly the whole day and night :)

DJ Magic was a great DJ to work with - our DJ met with us in advance to go over all of the details and logistics to ensure that the event went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ was very concerned with making sure we had everything we wanted with regard to music and announcements for the event.

DJ Magic came highly recommended; however, we were not impressed by our experience. Leading up to the wedding, DJ Magic was responsive, mostly professional, and helped us plan our wedding by using their online planning system. My fiance had met with the DJ and followed up via email to confirm that he would be our DJ for the day of our wedding (we initially chose DJ Magic due to the fact that we could meet our DJ early in the process and other companies didn't allow this). He confirmed that he would be the DJ. About 2 months before our wedding, we met with the DJ again. He brought another individual and told us this new gentleman would be our DJ and he would be our emcee (not a big deal, but still a change from whatever we were told). On the day of the wedding, the emcee left very early in the evening (after making a few announcements at dinner and assisting with the toasts). This was upsetting as we were told that he would be our DJ for the evening. Prior to leaving, the DJ tried to sell our photographer some things (this is extremely unprofessional). The DJ who remained did not do a great job of reading our crowd. Most of the guests stayed by the bar drinking instead of dancing, because he was playing older music that was difficult to dance to (we are a very young couple and most of our friends are young, so they were expecting more modern dance music). We had to ask the DJ multiple times to begin to play more modern dance music, and eventually he did. Despite planning ahead of time and making a timeline for the DJ to follow, we had to remind him to make important announcements (e.g. cake cutting, late night snack being served). This was frustrating since we put time and effort into our timeline to ensure the day went smoothly. The DJ also played our last dance song prior to our last dance. For our last dance, he played the song again, and we heard a guest remark that he'd already played that song.

Contract is not legal
Beware! First clause of their contract is a nondisclosure agreement which is not legal per the Consumer Review Fairness Act signed by Obama in 2016. We brought this to their attention and they were unwilling to change it, so we went with another vendor. Contract also includes a complete release of liability clause despite the fact the company has commercial liability insurance.

Horrible/ Waste of money
One of the worst proms I have ever experienced. Horrible music that no one knew and crappy lights. I’m the party animal, good music and ill dance all night! I stayed 20 minutes that’s how bad it was.
