We used DJ Louie Entertainment for a corporate event this past weekend and they were hands down amazing! Eric showed up a few hours early to set up our photo booth and was so helpful throughout the whole night! He basically acted as an event coordinator and really kept the party flowing! So many of our guests raved about him, his professionalism and kindness. Our DJ was an absolute hit and kept the vibe happy & upbeat the whole night! I would definitely recommend DJ Louie Entertainment to anyone planning a big party, event or wedding!

When your get married, everyone knows you need 3 things....both the bride and groom to show up, good food.....and good music! Louie G kept our guests on the dancefloor all night for our special day. DJ Louie was recommended to me by a friend and all I can say was it was amazing. From our first zoom call, he broke down his packages, the set up, and how to fill out an information sheet so he could create a timeline to follow during the wedding. The day of the wedding it was easy to keep track of time because DJ Louie stuck to our timeline and kept things easy. The coolest part was during the reception when he had us take a photo with each table before a song was over so every guest saw us at the beginning of the night. We also did the Mirror Photo Booth add on and it was so worth it. Each guest had some silly photos to take home at the end of the night. My guests were telling me that it was the most fun wedding they’ve been to. DJ Louie kept the energy high and his mixes were fantastic!! He was professional while keeping the party alive. I cannot recommend him enough!

Louie and his team were so great! They made our wedding so special and we couldn’t have asked for more! The music was totally on point and people didn’t stop dancing the entire time! Louie was so responsive the whole process and totally put me at ease. If you want your wedding day to be wonderful, be sure to go with him and his team!!!!

Wonderful, responsive, understanding!
Louis was wonderful! He gave us ideas during our consult of what he likes to do with couples for the wedding day along with other ideas that could be incorporated. Then he had us fill out an information sheet for him with all of the names of those in our bridal party as well as those that would be giving toasts/speeches. When it came to the week before the wedding, we went over a timeline in detail where he made sure to ask me about the PowerPoint I had created. He wanted to make sure I had everything set for it to work out (which of course I didn’t) so he stepped in and was able to include his projector and screen. Then the day of, I didn’t have the slide show set up.. so he took it upon himself to set that up for me as well. 1000% would recommend his services to anyone and everyone. Great personality and was extremely prepared when I was not!

Dj Louie went above and beyond to surpass and exceed all of our expectations when it came to providing his services for our wedding. Not only was he the definition of punctual, professional, and polished, but he also gave outstanding guidance, advice, and direction when it came to outlining the timeline of events for our big day. He ensured that our ceremony was perfect in every way, with every transition blending seamlessly into the next. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and it was clear that he truly cared about making our wedding day immaculate in every way that he possibly could. As an inexperienced couple when it came to wedding planning, he made the daunting task of entertaining our guests a snap, and I couldn’t have asked for more beautiful photos due to the incredible “dancing on the clouds” add on he provided with his services. I couldn’t recommend him more. He even offered to step in and officiate our ceremony, when our original officiant had a family emergency and wasn’t sure she would be able to make it back in time to marry us. His dedication to his craft is unmatched and I will definitely be utilizing his services again for future parties and events.

I went to a friends daughters wedding and was so impressed by the DJ who kept the party entertained and dancing. So I booked Lou for my daughters wedding! Entering his office, Lou showed us different packages that also Included lighting, photo booths etc. He answered questions before, during and after!! Always responsive and courteous and patient! During the party, he was crowd control and could feel the mood. He was the best MC and problem solver. There’s ALWAYS an issue and nothing is perfect but he helped make the wedding flow flawlessly. I’m so glad I chose him and his 15 years of professionalism was part of a great package!!!

DJ Louie G is seriously the BEST! I met him at a Bridal show and I’m so glad I did! We have been hanging with Louie G since his nightly quarantine live parties and he always has been a blast! We let him do a lot of “DJ choice” and we had a mixture of music for Arabic, Spanish, American you name it and he mixed it and KILLED IT! He had the whole wedding party up and dancing! Absolutely hands down best wedding investment we made. When I originally thought of hiring a DJ, I just thought “the guy who plays music on the dance floor.” Boy was I wrong. DJ Louie was the actual heartbeat of the entire night. He held several meetings with us prior to the wedding to make sure we were on task. He helped us plan the entire timeline and gave us excellent suggestions on things we did not even consider. He provided us with guides of different types of music to choose and educated us on when we should choose an upbeat/slow song etc. SO MANY DETAILS that we would have never thought about, but he did. He worked seamless with the staff at the venue, wedding coordinator, bartender, catering company, etc.
He handled everything from the MCing of the ceremony, to music at the ceremony, then transitional music for the time between the ceremony and reception. Then on to the party, I mean reception. LOL. Keep reading, this is super important...HE IS NOT JUST A DJ. He is a crowd control, hype person, comedian, whatever he needed to be for each situation. We have an extremely diverse crowd, he handled it and the music transitions without hesitation. I mean how do you go from Hank Williams to Bad Bunny?! Idk either but DJ Louie killed it! I pray my daughter never gets married again, but if she does...DJ LOUIE FOR THE WIN!!!

DJ Lou Made our dream wedding come true!
Lou is a fantastic communicator and DJ I wouldn’t trust anyone else to run the soundtrack behind the happiest day of your life. He was so professional, and of all our vendors he was always the first to text or email me back. I kind of expected a DJ to be like a cheesy wedding day hype man, but Lou wasn’t like that. He knew how to read the room and got our shyest guests out on the floor so we had the BEST time. Not only did he rock the music, but we didn’t have a wedding planner and he really worked with us to make sure that the bouquet toss, parent dances, and cake cutting weren’t forgotten AND he was flexible enough to know that they wouldn’t happen exactly when we planned. My fiancé and I loved him and I could not recommend him more highly!

Amazing experience at our wedding!

DJ Louie is awesome!
Since the first time my husband and I met with Louie we were impressed with how friendly and easy going he was. We had already been to a wedding that he had DJ'd and knew we were going to book him. Best decision ever really. He, and his team, made the reception flawless. He really knows how to get the crowd hyped and involved and keep the party going. His uplighting fit our wedding perfect and really made the reception such a beautiful event. We cannot thank him enough! Seriously, stop reading reviews and book him now. You will absolutely not be disappointed and will only regret it if you dont! Side note: If you are looking for bar service as well, my experience will tell you to book Drinks by Dawn with DJ Louie as they are an amazing team! Thank you again for everything DJ Louie! You really made our day special!

He understood what we wanted!
The DJ was the most important vendor to us since they can make/break a wedding! As soon as we met Louie, we knew we had to have him as our DJ and that we could trust him to keep the party going and feel the crowd. I could not have asked for a better experience for our daughter’s sweet 16, from the up lighting, photo booth, and awesome music… it was perfect. DJ Louie was extremely professional, responsive and helpful from the day we met. He made sure to mix up the music for the teens and adults; everyone had a blast until the very last minute. The photo booth was a hit and the staff was very helpful, engaged, and fun. To top it off, he sent us a beautiful slide show highlighting the fun and special moments of the night. DJ Louie goes above and beyond! Thank you for making our baby girls day so special. We highly recommend DJ Louie for all events!

Definitely the best dj ever! I didn’t have much planned for my introduction to the reception and he made one and it was amazing! As if he knew what we wanted! Just based on a few requests from us and he knew exactly what to do! He kept everyone hyper and everyone loved it! Our biggest fear was our guests being bored, In the past two days after the wedding everyone has call and text me saying how much fun they had! I definitely recommend Dj Louie G, the music was The perfect mix for my guest, the cold sparKlers made it magical and he was an excellent person to work with. you will not regret it! If you want to have fun at your wedding or any event he is the man to call!! And for the price he really did more than what we paid for! This is the 2nd time I’ve used DJ Louie and once again he was amazing! He really knows how to flow the fun of a reception.
Dj Louie also did our lighting which was extras but much cheaper and easier than paying rental company. We had a non alcohol Christian wedding so no songs with curse words but we still wanted to dance and have fun and he delivered! Everyone was dancing all night and he kept the flow going from the moment people arrived.

Lou helped make our day more special that we could have ever imagined. Once the wedding ceremony began I did not have to worry about a thing related to timing. Which truly is a blessing in itself. The music was great and everything flowed perfectly. Lou was very good at knowing when to make necessary adjustments due to time or other factors. Many of our family and friends have commented on how great of a job Lou did. I believe my mom has already recommended him to another event. Dj Louie G and his staff were so professional. Quick to respond from the 1st meeting to follow up calls and emails to final meeting. Paying close attention to all my needs and wants. He kept everyone dancing all night, kept the flow and timeline to a tee. He also did our out ceremony , photo booth and TV monitors that displayed our photos and some that they took during the wedding. It was so cool and all the guest loved it. My wedding planning process was the toughest thing for me because my fiancé was deployed at the time. I didn’t know a thing about weddings but that’s okay when you’re working with Louie & Dawn! They are such amazing people and assist you with things you didn’t even know you needed! Don’t know what songs you want? That’s fine because Louie has a sense of what your guests want to hear and believe you me my guests still compliment my Louie two months later! There’s different packages to choose from and you’re able to add things even from the smallest package you choose! (& trust me, you’re going to want to add) Anytime I had a question there wasn’t a phone call missed or email they didn’t respond to within minutes! I’m so blessed to have met such an amazing pair that I now get to call family. Seriously, stop reading and book your wedding with DJ Louie & Drinks by Dawn!! DJ Louie and Dawn were excellent. When we were introduced to Louie by my mother-in-law, we knew he would be a perfect fit for our wedding. I did the planning for my wedding, so what was important to me was the responsiveness. Any questions or concerns I had they were there to answer. They went through all the details of wedding day from setup to breakdown. He gave many suggestions of songs and provided an outline for the night. Ceremony and reception music was wonderful. Dawn was fantastic coordinating the wedding party entrance and communicating anything I needed to Louie. DJ Louie got the crowd moving all night long. Thank you Louie and Dawn.

DJ Louie and his manager Dawn are both awesome! They were prompt and on top of everything from the start. We had a friend (Ben Mejia Music) do our ceremony and first dance music live at separate locations and DJ Louie was so awesome that he let him hook up his guitar to the sound system so Ben didn't have to set up twice. The music was perfect for the entire night and everyone had a blast! His skills truly put our wedding over the top and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Thank you!

Without a doubt, DJ Louie Ent. Was the highlight of my wedding! The music was amazing! From the fog and spot light during our first dance to literally seeing our name in lights on the wall, it was everything I could imagine. The photo booth was definitely a crowd favorite!

I cannot put into words how absolutely amazing DJ Louie is. He, Dawn and his staff helped to make our wedding day so much more than we had ever imagined. When we first met Dawn and Louie, my husband and I felt like we were speaking to friends we had known our whole lives. They immediately understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen. They are both professional and fun, a combination that is often hard to find. You can see the passion they have for everything they do and it's easy to see that they put their all into every single event. I am so thankful to have met Louie and Dawn and I hope to be working with this amazing company again very soon!

DJ Louie and Dawn are amazing to work with. We had their assistants work at our wedding. Having the 2nd DJ was our choice since their 2nd DJ is a radio host we were familiar with and it seemed the other bride was more "difficult" than me from my conversations with DJ Louie and his manager. Everyone was dancing and had a great time during the entire wedding - which is what everyone wants! My fiance and I were slightly annoyed/disappointed that the bridal party intro song and the bridal couple intro song we selected were not played. The 2nd DJ chose two other songs. Also, we requested some songs during dancing that weren't played either. (FYI: DJ Louie and his manager gave us a sheet of paper to fill out for song choices - hence the annoyance/disappointment) Luckily, us and our wedding planner noticed the song choice malfunction and everyone still had a good time. If you booked DJ Louie, I would go with him over his 2nd DJ mainly because since the DJ gave us homework, the 2nd DJ can do his, too.

Louie & Dawn are the best!! They made sure to keep things upbeat and moving, and help out where you need. They have the best personalities, and are very easy to get along with - you need to like your DJ ;) Some of our wedding choices may not have been so traditional and they made it all work! Definitely recommend them!!

Louie was a great DJ, however he made the effort to ask for song requests before our wedding, and did not play any of the special request songs (including my parents' wedding song, which was an important song we wanted played).

Be Cautious on this Vendor
I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company on my wedding day. There were multiple things that went wrong. The owner did not deliver on the items we wanted. I booked DJ Louie just under two years before my wedding date, we specifically booked his company for his service as a DJ and personality when we met him at a bridal show. During our first sit down meeting we had requested him to be our DJ, he assured us that would be no problem. I reached out as we got closer to the wedding date to make sure he would still be our DJ but sadly I was let down by him telling me that due to COVID schedules had to be rearranged but he was still going to make every effort to be our DJ. I wasn’t informed until about 2 weeks before my wedding day that he would not be available, one of his employee’s named Tony would be coming instead. Fair warning to any bride who received Tony as their DJ, you’re in for a disaster on your wedding day. Louie had assured me that his staff members would be able to take good care of me during the wedding but that was a big letdown. The Monday after my wedding my mom reached out to inform Louie about a few things that went horribly wrong at the wedding, Louie told my mom he was going to call me after I got back from my honeymoon, more than a month after my wedding, I still have not received a call from him to hear my story, which led me to write my story here. Below is a list of a few items that every bride should be aware of when selecting this vendor as your DJ.
- Owner said he would be the main DJ for the night, one of his assistant DJ (Tony) showed up instead.
- There was no cocktail hour music played between the ceremony and reception, even after it was paid for. I reached out to multiple people on my guest list and they confirmed that no music was played at all.
- DJ didn’t maintain on time with the time schedule that was provided by them which created a domino effect listed below
o Didn’t gather people on time during cocktail hour for our grand entrance which lead to the next bullet point.
o Food was served warm instead of hot because the DJ was 30 min behind schedule, the one they provided, not one that I created. Louie tried to blame the catering company that it was their fault but it wasn’t, the catering company was the one that found me to inform me that we were behind schedule, which the schedule they had was the one Louie gave me.
o DJ was nowhere to be found during our dinner reception, multiple vendors had to go searching for him because the music was too loud and no one could even talk to each other.
- Announced the cake cutting was happening without the bride even in the room, more than half the guest didn’t know the cake cutting was going on including the brides mom so she missed one of the important events of the night.
- Playlist was not an appropriate selection for kids (ages 2-15), very voguer and cuss words were being said during multiple times of the night, bride provided heads up to Louie prior to the event that there would be kids there.
- Music kept cutting out halfway through the songs so there were always these awkward pauses in the music and the transitions from on song to another were very poor, pretty much seemed at time there was so transition, songs would just cut off and another one would start. It is sad when I have been to multiple night clubs and they have had better DJs than this.
Overall this was a huge disappointment and I would caution any bride that chooses to use this company as their DJ. There may not be many bad review on this company from any bride, but that can clearly be because brides have just gotten so frustrated that they wasted their money and just wanted to forget about this whole night. I was one of those brides until my mom told she had reach out to Louie to voice her concerns and he promised my mom he would call me after I got back from my honeymoon and he never did. This is one of the main reasons I am writing this review, because wedding planning is already stressful especially when vendors cancel on you but to have a vendor show up and do nothing that you pay for, that is the most frustrating part. I hope other brides have a better experience than me.
