We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, Richie was incredibly helpful in creating the perfect experience. He always made himself readily available to discuss planning. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. On our wedding night, the team of DJ Live, kept the energy flowing all night long!
The setup was next-level — state-of-the-art sound and lighting that transformed our venue into a full-on celebration space. The photo booth was a massive hit with our guests, and the sparklers added a magical touch to our first dance. Having Richie playing the drums alongside the DJ set was absolutely electric! It brought a whole new level of excitement to the dance floor. His energy was absolutely contagious! Allowing us to play the drums to one of our favorite songs is a memory we will never forget!
If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond to create a truly magical and unforgettable experience, look no further. This was more than just playing music — it was a full production, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Highly, highly recommended!

10000/10 for DJ Live!
We had an amazing experience working with Richie and DJ Live for our wedding on 9/20/25. He offered the right amount of guidance while also listening to and helped execute our exact vision for the reception. A number of our guests from all age demographics commented on how fun the event was, and Richie was a big part of the reason why.
We also used his keys player (Ronnie) and saxophonist (Tyriq) who were both fantastic! We were able to provide Ronnie with an unconventional wedding score for our processional and he nailed it! Everyone was so impressed with Tyriq as well and he really knew how to work the room and get the crowd going with the sax riffs.
Richie also did an awesome job documenting some of our reception and sharing it on social media (no need for a content creator!!) and it was so nice to wake up the next morning and look back on some of the videos right away.
Don't let the comparative lack of reviews deter you--he is incredible to work with, highly professional, and has a ton of experience from prior ventures. -

Best DJ experience we could have asked for
Richie was amazing! He listened to our ideas (and even last-minute changes) and made them even better. The music kept everyone on the dance floor all night, and so many guests told us how great he was. He truly went above and beyond and made our wedding unforgettable. -

Richie and his team at DJ Live provide the highest level of DJ and MC services around! Richie demonstrated to our guests that he has tons of experience in the wedding ceremony and reception game! Since our wedding day we have heard from countless guests at how impressed they were with the flow of the night and the music. The DJ Live team is very attentive to the bride and grooms wants and needs. They are flexible and will make sure that everything goes exactly how you want.
Our reception dance floor was packed with friends and family. We had wedding guests who actually complained at one point that they couldn’t get off the dance floor for a break because the music was so good. The DJ’s are experienced and keep tempo/style of music matching through their transitions to keep everyone intrigued.
The photo booth included was a fun addition for our guests. The booth provides a print out and sends it to your phone. Additionally we received a file including all the photos taken by our guests afterwards which leaves some fun memories for us to look back on. The quality of the photos are very good compared to other photo booths we have used before.
Lastly, the DJ Live team thinks of everything. At our venue DJ live utilized multiple speakers and setups so that there were no empty gaps without music or audio. This covered the ceremony, cocktail hour and of course the reception/dinner.
If DJ Live can service your location, I would not book anyone else!

Richie is absolutely incredible and hands down the best DJ around! From start to finish he was absolutely amazing. He paid close attention to every detail- he nailed every start time of songs that we wanted, came through on every request we made, and played every single song on our must play list. He knew exactly how to keep our party going and our dance floor was filled all night long. We still have guests texting us asking who our DJ was because they had so much fun. He made our night everything we could have asked for and more and absolutely exceeded our expectations! We can't recommend DJ Live enough! -

We were thrilled to have DJ Live provide the music and entertainment for our Senior Prom. From the first song to the last, the dance floor was packed! DJ Live created an incredible atmosphere with a perfect mix of current hits, throwbacks, and student requests.
Richie was professional, engaging, and completely in tune with our crowd. The sound and lighting were top-notch, and the energy never dipped. As the event coordinator, I especially appreciated how easy he was to work with—professional, responsive, and committed to making the night a success.
I highly recommend Richie and DJ Live for any school event or celebration. Our students had a blast, and we couldn’t have asked for better entertainment!

DJ Richie did an excellent job DJing our big gay wedding! More importantly, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. During the preparation period, he was organized and helpful. On the day of the wedding, he arrived plenty early with his team to set up. From the cocktail hour to MCing the grand entrance and speeches, he kept everything running smoothly all night. He also accommodated the special requests we had - for example we sang at the end of our first dance, and he provided us with 2 microphones.
We optioned to have the live drums and sax player as well, which added a great energy. His song selections were awesome and he kept the dance floor filled all night. Every time I looked at him he had a smile on his face. All around great guy and positive energy! Would highly recommend DJ Richie and his team for your wedding or any special event. -

Our wedding night was hands-down the best night of our life!
DJ Live aka DJ Richie was a key factor in making this night INCREDIBLE! He was so easy to work with, understood the vibe that we were looking for and took our music suggestions and really put together a wonderful mix for the night. It is a week later and our friends and family are STILL telling us how much of a blast they had. Everyone was on the dance floor all night! Richie really worked the crowd and he is a phenomenal MC.
He is a true professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone !!! -

DJ Live is the absolute best! Richie was wonderful through the entire process and I’m so glad we hired him for our wedding! Richie was very attentive, checked in with us at the right times and made us feel like stars. He made sure to play all of our favorite songs and mixed everything perfectly to keep the entire crowd on the dance floor. DJ Live’s pianist at cocktail hour was wonderful, he looked like he was so happy to be at our wedding with us. The photo booth was a hit, even my 93 year old grandma loved it. Richie on percussion added some extra fun to our night, not to mention the indoor sparklers for some picture perfect opportunities. At the end of the night when the crowd dispersed my new husband and I enjoyed a dance on the floor alone and I caught a smile on Richie’s face that told me he really loved what he did. I cannot recommend DJ Live enough and I wish we could live our wedding over again and again. Thank you! -

The best there is!
Richie and his team are the best there is. Throughout the planning process they were prompt, responsive and helpful. On our wedding day, we could not have dreamed for better. The music dictated and was perfectly in tune with the vibe the entire night, and when it was time to party they did not miss on a single song. When we had to adjust a few small details they handled it with ease. They were a major part of helping make our wedding day the best day of our life and we could not recommend any more highly! -

If only more than 5 stars was an option…Richie is more than just a DJ. He goes above and BEYOND to make your whole night special. Even leading up to your big day. He truly takes care of your needs and focuses on exactly what YOU want for your special day. He makes sure he asks any questions you might miss, goes into each detail with exactly what you ask him, caters to you and your needs. Offers amazing suggestions and truly takes care of you. He is beyond thorough with each and every part of your wedding day. The timing of your music, your idea comes to life and even beyond that. Richie knows how to get the party started, but most importantly knows how to KEEP the party going. He adds special touches to truly make sure your day is magical. Also what’s amazing is that he is so in tune with not only the crowd but with the bride and groom. He makes sure we are beyond happy, stays in tune with you and keeps a timely manner so that we can get the party moving and not “waste time” on cake cutting etc. he reads the room so well and the flow of his entertainment is impeccable. You should look NO further when it comes to a DJ and entertainment. We also had him bring a saxophone player, Richie played the drums as well along with the dj booth. It was incredible. We did our ceremony on the beach and down to the detail he nailed it. He made sure it went beyond smooth. He communicates with all your vendors, knows every detail about your wedding so he can be precise and have all the cards right. We are beyond happy with Richie, and our guests were too. They all reached out to him already to book their events. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. It was truly because of him and his amazing team and vision. He cares deeply for what he does and makes sure you are so happy with your day and more. DJ Live is what and who you need in your party life, wedding life, and more. Outstanding job. We would go back and do it all again. Thank you Richie and your incredible team for this AMAZING experience for our wedding. Every song, entertainment piece and beyond was truly truly outstanding. Our company hired DJ live for our annual holiday party and we were amazed by his service. The seemless transitions of different genres of music kept the dance floor packed all night.
