Best DJ!!!

We cannot recommend Lauren enough to be your DJ. She was recommended to us through family, and has done several of our family and friend’s weddings. She is great to work with, flexible, professional, and knows how to read the room. We were told my several of our guests that our dance floor was the best part of our wedding! People didn’t want to leave at the end of the night. The highlight was when she pulled me and my husband behind the DJ both and let us spin the tables. Our guests loved it!! 10/10 recommended Lauren for your big day!

Lauren was awesome!

From the start of the ceremony to the send off, Lauren was the best DJ we could have asked for! Her music selection was spot on, she had so much energy, and kept the attendees engaged the whole time. She worked with us beforehand to get to know what we liked, what we didn't like, and what songs we wanted played where. If you're looking for a DJ who will make your wedding unforgettable while also being so responsive and personable, Lauren is the perfect choice. Best dj ever!

Lauren was absolutely incredible!! I keep telling people the best decision I made in the wedding planning process was hiring DJ Lauren Bobby. My husband and I have not stopped getting compliments about the music and dance floor at our wedding. The dance floor was full ALL night because of Lauren. Prior to the big day, we had multiple meetings where Lauren took the time to really understand what we wanted for each stage of the day. Not only did she make this happen - she added fun extras into the night that made it unforgettable. If you are looking for a DJ that has excellent communication, will curate music specific to your tastes, and is an absolute blast on the wedding day - she is the one you want!

High Energy & Amazing Experience Year After Year!

We hire Lauren every year to DJ an annual Halloween party for us. She truly makes the party. Her song choices are always on point and she always brings everyone to the dance floor. We love working with her and I would highly recommend her for any event!

One of the best DJs around!

Unforgettable night thanks to Lauren Bobby!!

Lauren completely blew us away! Leading up to the wedding she was super transparent and responsive. On wedding day Lauren was a pro who worked well with our coordinator to keep everything moving smoothly. She played all the music we love and read the room perfectly to match the music with the energy needed to get people dancing. She even got out on the dance floor with us and let me (the bride) play DJ! It was iconic.

A wonderful experience

DJ Lauren Bobby was not only an excellent DJ- but she stepped in to help organize our evening and ensure our wedding went as smooth as possible. The minute we first spoke with her I knew that she understood our vision and style of music. Our wedding day was a dream thanks to Lauren understanding and executing exactly what we wanted. Everyone was on the dance floor and we continue to get compliments about how awesome our DJ was. We are so grateful to have had Lauren part of our special day!

Lauren was an absolute angel through the entire process. She helped us pick the perfect play list and even gave recommendations when David and I couldn’t decide on songs. Lauren is an absolute ROCKSTAR!!

When everything else seemed to be going wrong with my wedding, Lauren came through in the clutch! Getting married on July 4, 2020 was very important to us and so we decided not to postpone. However being a COVID wedding, basically everything we had planned changed and continued to change up until the day before. Lauren was originally invited to our wedding as a guest, but when we had to cut the guest list to meet the restrictions it was limited to family only. The original DJ we had booked also did not feel comfortable given the environment so we called Lauren at the last minute and she essentially saved our wedding!! I cannot even begin to describe how much better our wedding was because of Lauren. Our church cancelled on us 4 days before the wedding and we had planned on using their music and stereo equipment. Thankfully we were able to move the ceremony to our reception venue, but they were not equipped with the same stereo equipment. So with very little notice, Lauren was able to not only bring her own equipment to setup to support the sound for the ceremony l, but also come up with a ceremony playlist perfectly paired with our Independence Day wedding. Again with little to no input from us because of the late timing, she prepared entrance music for the parents, bridal party and us. She had our first dance, the mother & son and the father & daughter music ready to go to keep the reception moving along so we stayed on the planned timeline. She also had the perfect low-key background music cued up for the dinner hour. Finally once the dance floor was open she had a playlist that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Despite everything that changed or was cancelled, Lauren made our wedding absolutely one to remember and I am so thankful for her and her ability to come through in the 11th hour when we were desperate for just one thing to go right. She was one of the, if not the best part of our wedding and I am so blessed to call her one of my good friends.

We Danced All Night Long!!

We could not be happier that we chose Lauren as our wedding DJ!! From the planning process to the day of our wedding, she was extremely helpful and flexible in assisting us with all of our questions. She offered great suggestions that we had never thought of to help our reception flow more smoothly for us and for our guests. She chose the perfect songs that guests of all ages knew and loved. Lauren is so experienced and has mastered her craft to the point that she could tell when a certain song should be played or faded out or the music genres mixed up by the vibe of the dance floor. We had a long reception and Lauren kept the dance floor packed all night! From our grandparents to our oldest friends, numerous guests commented on how amazing our DJ was and how much fun they had. She even got out on the dance floor to celebrate with us and our guests! All in all, Lauren ensured the music and energy at our reception was everything we could have hoped for on our special day! DEFINITELY book her!!

Dj lb = the best

Lauren is the best! We have been to a few other weddings where she was the DJ and we knew we had to have her at ours. You can fully trust her to play all of the right songs to get people up and dancing. We are still hearing from our guests that our wedding was so fun and we give DJ LB full credit for that. Music is one of the biggest parts of a wedding, and Lauren is very professional and great to work with and knows exactly what the crowd wants. We would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Best multicultural DJ

We had a Cambodian wedding which meant our reception was at Harvest Moon (any Khmer people in the DMV will be familiar with this venue). That meant we would need to play Cambodian music at our reception. My aunties really pushed me to get a live band but I really wanted a DJ who could also MC. I’m so glad I found Lauren because she was exactly what I was looking for. I gave her the Cambodian music and she was able to blend it seemlessly with our requests so that everyone was happy. Even my pushy aunties had to agree that going with a DJ was the right choice. Thank you so much Lauren!

Lauren was wonderful! She made the whole process of figuring out the schedule and song lists much easier and helped so much in coordinating the wedding reception. Lauren provided the DJ services for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. If I could give more than five stars, I would... she is absolutely amazing!! She was great to work with and she knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding and executed it perfectly the day of. She knew how to get everyone on the dance floor and keep them out there all night! I've had so many people tell me how much they loved the songs she played throughout the night - we had so many different age groups and she made it fun for everyone. She made the night so much fun and kept everything upbeat (which is everything we wanted). I can't thank her enough for making it such a blast!

I’ll try to keep this short, but that may not be easy because I don’t know how to minimize my amazement with Lauren’s talents.
From our first meeting to the end of the wedding night, she was unbelievably helpful. Lauren was key in making my daughter’s wedding/reception a huge success. Let me just use these words to help you understand why you should look NO FURTHER for a DJ for your event….
Accommodating, Organized, Involved, Flexible, Energetic, Interactive, just to name a few of her attributes.
Lauren provided suggestions when we had questions and she helped us with planning music for the entire day. From the music played prior to the wedding while the guests were arriving, the wedding party entrance and exit music, cocktail hour and of course the receptions. Which I might mention, that from the first song through the last song, the dance floor was packed!
Lauren’s attention to detail, right down to the timing of every song for every moment of the day was amazing. She is confident and for good reason….she knows what she’s doing and she’s great at what she does!

I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for my wedding! Lauren Bobby went above expectations. She played the right songs, she kept the energy flowing on the dance floor, she checked in with me consistently, and she was a huge component of making the night a fun party. I’ve received so many compliments about my wedding and reception, especially what a great time everyone had dancing and how awesome our DJ was. Almost everyone was on the dance floor, the entire night. Lauren knew exactly what songs to play, that everyone of all ages enjoyed. When consulting with her before the wedding, Lauren was extremely helpful. I had so many questions and needed advice, and she helped so much. There’s no doubt whatsoever, I would fully recommend her to EVERYONE. DJ Lauren Bobby is incredible.

DJ Lauren Bobby did our wedding a few months ago- SHE WAS AMAZING!! She was responsive and organized before the wedding, asking exactly what kind of feel and music we wanted. The day of- she was very involved, did a great job MCing, and literally kept the dance floor going all night! I did not stop dancing. She has great energy and even came out and danced. She knows how to keep the party going and will tailor to your wants! You wont be disappointed!!!

Lauren was AMAZING! I had met her a couple years ago as she was the DJ at a friends wedding. I knew if we had her DJ our wedding it would be awesome. We had a relatively small wedding and had people of all age groups. I was worried about getting people on the dance floor especially because of the size of the wedding and the age groups. Lauren was able to get people on the dance floor and more importantly keep them there. At the end of the night, everyone had great things to say about the music and her quality of work. I would highly recommend Lauren for your next event!

Lauren is awesome! All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! The next day all the guest shared how great the song choices were and that the wedding was one of the best weddings they've been to! I owe a lot of that to Lauren since she was able to get the party started and keep the party going!

Not only is she great the day of the wedding she took the time to speak with my husband and I before the wedding to create the ultimate playlist!

I can't say enough about Lauren Bobby. For my wife and I, dancing the night away was our top priority. In order for that to become a reality, it was imperative that we found a great DJ. Luckily, we found Lauren. She was extremely professional, and met us in person to discuss our details. From that meeting, we were very confident that she knew what she was doing. Quite literally, we said "we trust you, do your thing." Not only was she well-spoken, but played music that appealed to a large age gap (something I'm sure is hard to do). She was able to read the crowd, and played music that had everyone on their feet (even my 90 year old grandmother). Even 6 months after our wedding, everyone raves about how much fun they had, which couldn't have been done without Lauren. I'd recommend her to anyone... Bias opinion aside, she is by far the best wedding DJ i've ever heard.

Hands down best DJ ever. EVER. My wedding was over a month ago and I am still having people tell me how the reception was the best they've ever been to! Even people I don't know have said how they heard it was the best reception ever and I owe it all to Lauren Bobby. Every single person in attendance was on the dance floor the entire night. She was so interactive and played music that the entire crowd enjoyed. She even let me borrow the mic and sing my favorite song for everyone. She truly made my big day the best day of my life. I cannot put into words how awesome Lauren is. Booking her as my DJ was the best decision I made during wedding planning. My biggest thing was that everyone had fun and EVERY ONE had a blast. Like I said, people are still talking about the reception. If I could give Lauren a million stars on this rating I would. Thank you, Lauren, for making my wedding the best night of my life. From the early days of planning, to the last song, DJ Lauren Bobby did an absolute phenomenal job. She is very flexible in regards to when to meet, and the music that fits your occasion. During the reception, she was right on cue to every portion (bridal party entrance, cake cutting, first dance, etc..) and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. She's great at keeping people entertained at all age levels, and even joins the crowd at times to keep the energy alive. I would strongly recommend Lauren to anyone, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring DJ Lauren Bobby!! From the beginning she was great to work with and we knew we were in great hands. It's been over 2 weeks from our wedding and we still hear our friends and family raving about her! She thoroughly enjoys what she does and it shows. Our dance floor was packed the entire time and she did a great job fading into other songs when people started to lose interest. Lauren was so great! My husband and I planned our wedding in six months, so we were pretty stressed. We weren't certain that we would be able to find a DJ that met our music needs and our budget. But then someone told us about Lauren Bobby! And I am so happy they did. Lauren did an amazing job, not only at the wedding, but leading up to the wedding. She was incredibly flexible, even offering to play music for the ceremony when we had a last-minute drop out- free of charge. Lauren knocked it out of the park at my wedding. She's exactly what you want out of a DJ, someone that can get people out of their seats and on the dance floor. Outside of the 1 hour dinner, Lauren had basically everybody who was able to dance out on the dance floor for a full 2.5 hour party. She's got a total skill in being able to read and cater to the mood of the party. She doesn't just play one genre of music, she does an awesome job of mixing it up and keeping the energy of the wedding at its max. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone whose looking for an awesome DJ. I had so many people come up to me and say the DJ was the best part of the wedding. You wont regret using Lauren, she's so easy to work with and is super nice.

If you want to have a full-blown dance party at your wedding, DJ Lauren Bobby is the one to get! She was great to work with, very responsive, listened to our ideas for our wedding and gave our guests an amazing soundtrack for the evening (bonus, she danced right along with us)! Lauren DJ'ed my wedding at the Briar Patch and was absolutely fantastic. So many DJs out there try to steal the show, make bad jokes, play really raunchy music, or make things too theatrical. Lauren did none of the above. She is down to earth, fun, and flexible, but also extremely organized and helpful. From the moment the mother/son dance ended, the dance floor filled up and remained full for the remainder of the evening - she knew exactly what to play to keep people dancing! She was flexible when we moved cocktail hour inside on the day of, and also helped facilitate as we changed the timing of events a little bit during the reception. She asked for lists of the kinds of artists/music we liked for cocktail hour, dinner, and the rest of the reception, and built out a fantastic playlist for the event based on those recommendations. She is very fairly priced, particularly compared to what you would pay for another DJ of this quality. I 100% recommend her for your next event!

We loved having Lauren DJ our wedding! We have been to our fair share of weddings this year, but our wedding was the first one where everyone was dancing. Lauren truly got everyone on their feet. It was so fun watching our guests have such a good time and Lauren played a huge role in that. Lauren worked my wedding in October 2010. She did an excellent job guiding us through the process. There is so much more to a DJ than just playing good music. She listened to what we wanted and made sure she incorporated everything into our wedding day. Lauren was great!! She was the D.J. at out wedding. She met with my husband and I before the wedding and went through all her equipment and what services she offered. She was professional and thorough. At our wedding she delivered more than we had expected; she was able to read the crowd and played music that kept everyone on the dance floor. We had a large wedding with lots of kids and adults. She played clean music that appealed to everyone. She brought props (glasses and beads) that she handed out and the crowd went wild!! Lauren was the absolute best. Hands down. She was a huge reason why my wedding was so amazing. She played the perfect music during dinner that would make the guests at any age happy. Then, the music started flowing and got everyone dancing for the reception. There was not a moment that went by during my entire reception without a huge crowd on the floor! People didn't want to leave! Lauren was extremely flexible and even reached out to me to ask what she could help with and worked out ideas with me. We had a few ideas that we planned to do during the reception, but because everyone was having such a fun time, she checked in with me that I still wanted to move forward with it and I decided not to and she kept the party going for me! I had a ton of people come up to me during and after the wedding asking how I found her and who she was because she was. Everyone could tell that she loved what she did and was awesome at it. She helped organize my reception for me and made it such an amazing experience for me. I really can't say enough about her. My Mom had people calling her days after the wedding asking for her name and complimenting how much fun it was. She's affordable, too!! Just all around wonderful.

DJ LB is an absolute must if you want an epic wedding! Lauren DJ'd my husband's 2 older brothers' weddings so we knew we had to have her too!
Lauren does all her homework ahead of time, making sure she knows your taste in music, how you want the music to flow (upbeat all night long? Slow dance songs? Etc) She is beyond accommodating; she will do whatever she can to sit down with you in person, but doesn't hesitate to set up a phone call if something needs to be addressed quickly.
Lauren is A BLAST! DJ'ing is definitely her calling in life. Our guests could not stop talking about her/ complimenting us on our choice of DJ. She was on the dance floor with our friends and family keeping the momentum going and everyone LOVED her!
She is dedicated to her work and does everything she can to make sure the bride & groom and all the guests are having the best time of their lives.

We were ecstatic when we found out Lauren was available to DJ our wedding. She was able to accommodate all my music requests, and I was very picky! We had a preliminary meeting where I outlined all the music that I want to be played during the reception. It was really helpful to meet with her before hand, as were able to set the right schedule for the evening. I also had a lot of odd song requests for music during the dinner hour and she was able to find all of them; it was awesome. On the day she was prompt and had everything set up for the party to begin. Even more importantly she was able to get the entire guest list up on the dance floor! She definitely caters to a younger crowd (20's-30's) but I know she is flexible enough to accommodate anyone. We loved her, I'd recommend Lauren to anyone!

The only downside to having Lauren as your DJ is that guests may just talk more about how much they loved the DJ was instead of how much they love the bride and groom. If people asking for your DJ's information is any indication of how good she is (there were at least 10 who did), then she nailed it.
Lauren was great from the very beginning stages and discussions. I like to think that I'm pretty good when it comes to picking out music for things like this, but Lauren provided some perfect suggestions that I never would have found without her. She even provided a worksheet to help plan out the special songs/dances during the ceremony and reception.
Lauren brings great energy to the event, too. But don't worry, its not Steve Aoki/rave DJ-level overpowering energy. It's very tastefully done and I'm sure catered to the venue and audience.
If you want to spend plenty of time on the dance floor listening to great music played by a great DJ, book Lauren.

Dj bobby had been so amazing at my sister in laws wedding that we hired her for ours and now she has done all three of our families weddings.

We loved having her be apart of our big day. We were so afraid that havin our wedding on a Sunday afternoon , would be hard to get people on the dance floor , with her help , our dance floor was busy all night long . We love going to weddings where she is going to be, and at the latest family wedding she suppressed the two married couples by playing our wedding song. So thoughtful and special.

A year before we were even engaged, my husband and I went to this one wedding where I first met Lauren and got to experience her profession first hand. It was the best wedding I've ever been too, hands down. We immediately knew, after we got engaged, that she would be our DJ. Nothing else at that stage we were sure of, but we knew she had to be there.

Reasonably priced, and completely awesome, she met with us before the wedding to give us forms and a detailed itinerary so that she knew exactly what we were expecting. But since we had already seen what she could do, we weren't worried at all.

On our wedding day, I was a bit nervous about the entry song for my bridesmaids and myself, because one song fades into another. It was spot on. I was completely at ease for the rest of the day. She took requests and even went out onto the dance floor with us! Everyone was out of their seats and dancing. She made sure to make everyone feel comfortable, playing songs that some of our older guests would enjoy and then later in the evening, focusing on the younger crowd. It was absolutely best day of my life and I'm honestly so grateful Lauren was a part of it!!

Our DJ was one of the priorities for us on our wedding day, so we had pretty high standards. It was really important to us that our guests enjoyed a great party with lots of fun dancing. I hired Lauren to be the DJ at my wedding based on a recommendation. She was a huge factor in pulling off a fun reception. Lauren is a peppy young blonde and had everyone on the dance floor early (including my 87 year-old grandmother!) and they stayed there all night! It was a big asset to a couple who cannot dance. I had several guests ask how I found her and compliment the fun wedding reception entertainment. She is worth more than the very reasonable price she charges, and I would expect her to be raising her prices soon.

DJ Lauren Bobby was awesome. She was great at feeling the mood of the guests and playing music to match the mood. She was so much fun and got everyone on the dance floor, even my 86yr old grandma was dancing all night long. She is young and fun and interactive with the crowd. She played all the songs we wanted to hear and she thought of all the ones we didn't think of that were perfect for the occasion. DJ Lauren did a wonderful job! She played a good variety of music, and everyone was up dancing the whole night. She was fun and energetic and knows how to get the crowd going. The music was a little loud - a handful of guests left early due to the volume - and I wish she had made a timeline for the reception so that I didn't have to scramble to create one the night before with my wedding planner. My husband and I booked Lauren as our DJ as he knew of some other weddings that she had done. We planned our wedding in a very short time so we didn't meet her in person, but talked to her at length over the phone. She agreed to do both our reception and ceremony day of. After several confusing calls about the wireless mic we planned to use and admitting she was going to run the entire outdoor ceremony out of a guitar amp, she tried to bail on the ceremony the Thursday before our Saturday wedding. Panicing, my husband got our mic rental vendor to convince her dad to use his equipment. (Lauren was not involved in the set up and texted us to call her dad).

Wedding day she got there very early, as her and her dad were nervous about the ceremony equipment - which I am very thankful for. The ceremony went as planned with a very crackly sound system, but I think that was because it was so windy.

Then came the reception. The beginning was great, she played all the right songs for our entrance, you could hear her, and when dinner ended she played some great music that even got Nana out of her seat. About an hour later, the music completely switched to blaring something we had never requested resembling club pop. We had wanted an easier feeling kind of everyone dancing feel as my side of the family is more conservative, and had talked about playing lots of Motown.
