Larry was very responsive and a great guy yo work with. His assistant and him were very nice. Everyone loved the photos props. The picture all turned out great. This is a must have for any reception or party looking to keep memories and have a great laugh. DJ King in book a great buy. Wish I would of used him as my DJ too. Seen him since at another reception, I dropped the ball by not hiring him to DJ. Please do not make the same MISTAKE I did. Hire a professional!!!!!

Great Experience!

Our guests have not stopped talking about how much fun the had this past weekend with the help from DJ King. He is just the person we needed to help wrap up a beautiful, yet busy day. From the moment we met, we never felt rushed or worried. Everything always felt smooth. Unlike other parties that needed coordinating, when plans changed with the music, DJ King never made it a big deal and never made me feel guilty for the changes or mistakes. We are so happy and lucky to have not only had such a fun DJ, but one that was laid back and never contributed to the chaos that we felt was going on with everything else that day. If we had to do it all over again, we would still go with the same DJ every time!

Larry is a pro. Everything was tested and ready to go hours before the wedding. He called me a week before the wedding to go over pronunciations -- my wedding party had some tough names, including Estonian and Korean. Larry nailed them.

He took requests and made sure everyone had a good time. Would work with Larry again anytime!

Larry did an awesome job with our wedding! Everything was professional and properly taken care of. He worked really well with us and kept the event on schedule the whole time! Would recommend his services to anyone!

Larry and his team were exceptional! From the first time I talked to him on the phone to every conversation we had through e-mail or text he was super responsive and accommodating. He did two separate set ups for my wedding and reception. Each of them went flawlessly. He knew exactly what I wanted and delivered it style.

I also had his photo booth at my reception and it was an absolute hit! Everyone loved having their pictures taken and the pictures were absolutely fabulous. It was so great to have this piece at my wedding. After a few drinks my guests really loosened up and had fun with it. Larry and his wife were patient with some of the embarrassingly drunk patrons and professional to the core. He even delivered the printed out photos and copies on a flash drive to my home the very next week.

He was professional, fun, relaxed, and all of this came at a super reasonable price. He even worked out a payment plan for me. He was flexible when I inevitably changed almost everything that I had originally planned. He helped me surprise my father by playing the intro to his favorite song for our father daughter dance. My dad was totally shocked and that was the reaction I was looking for. He knew exactly when to switch the music over to our actual father daughter dance. And my absolute favorite part was when he made my wedding dream come true. My bridesmaid was unable to attend our wedding because of her job in Uganda. She e-mailed him a video of her speech and he played it for us over his speakers after our meal. There wasn't a dry eye in the place. He took the time to make sure everything that I requested was perfect. I am forever thankful for him.

Larry was fantastic for the entire wedding process and the night of. The photobooth was a hit and he kept the guests dancing all night.

Our wedding was beach themed, and without giving him much song choices to play, he had a good mix to get the wedding going. Larry was very polite, and energetic throughout the whole process and wedding day. Photo booth was fun, and everyone enjoyed it. Even sends a thumb drive of all the photos. His prices were also lower then most everyone I looked at, especially with the photo booth. Whatever you want and need, he can get it done.

Larry and his team were absolutely wonderful! They did everything they could to make sure our day was extra special! We will use them again anytime we need lighting or entertainment like a DJ or photo booth.

We hired DJ King for our outdoor wedding ceremony and indoor reception. He was referred to us by a relative who was also planning a wedding and chose DJ King, so Larry gave us each a referral discount which was nice. We booked him about a year in advance- he always responded kindly and very timely to the many emails I sent him during the months of planning. He would say "your wish is my command" and he backed it up. I had very specific plans and versions of songs I wanted Larry to play and he fulfilled everything I asked of him. He has a very extensive catalog of songs! We wanted a short and sweet ceremony and an action-packed reception, and without Larry's expertise and talent everything wouldn't have flowed as well as it did. We got married at a private residence so Larry was able to come early the day before the wedding as well as the day of the wedding and set-up all of his equipment. His professionalism and passion for his work is very obvious. He totally gets that he is an integral part of some of the happiest days of people's lives, and he takes that privilege very seriously. We used Larry's beautiful purple up lights which really set off the beauty of the reception hall. And his photo booth is a must!! Our guests enjoyed it so much. We actually just recently got our copies of all of the photo booth pictures and I love them so much. They capture all the candid fun. I just couldn't have been happier with DJ King and his crew.

Larry and his team went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was awesome for everyone!!! They provided the DJ, up lights and the photo booth!!! It was absolutely amazing!!

We used DJ King for our wedding reception earlier this month. From the beginning it was a good experience. I talked to him on the phone and he was very enthusiastic so I set up a meeting to discuss details and allow my fiance to meet him. He was very knowledgeable and honest about what services he thought we would benefit from using. He didn't try to sell us unnecessary things. He based his recommendations upon our location as well as guest count. In the weeks leading up to the wedding he was easily reachable and quickly responded to emails. We picked out music, announcements and set up a timeline together and he followed that timeline but on the wedding day he was also flexible and made adjustments as he saw necessary due to us not being ready for the next step. He came early to set up and was ready when the first guest walked in. He kept the music and the party going even though I know he had a tough crowd (not a lot of dancers). He never looked like he was bored and ready to go...He stayed until the last guest was gone. I only had one song on my do not play list...but he followed it and didn't play that song even when a guest asked him to play it. The kids loved the lights and some kids tried to play with the lights...this didn't seem to bother Larry...He was great with the kids. I recommend using DJ King. He will not disappoint!

I would recommend Larry Arnold and DJ Kings to anyone for their special event. He was so organized, timely, responsive, and easy to work with. He made preparing the music aspect of our wedding an absolute breeze which was super nice as hectic as planning can be. He responded to all my emails, questions, changes, etc in a very timely manner & was so professional. He did a wonderful job at our wedding. He communicated enough with us so we knew exactly what was going on, but wasn't in our hair the whole day! He respected our wishes for the music & had all the songs we wanted prepared! It was a perfect day and I am so glad we went with DJ Kings!!!! ?

Larry with DJ King productions was the perfect choice for our wedding reception!!! He did everything perfectly and even let me give him a list of songs I wanted him to play! He was very quick to respond to my emails and very easy to work with!!!! Couldn't be happier! The photo booth that he provided was a HUGE hit as well as the slide show! Everyone loved it! DJ King (Larry Arnold) provided fantastic service at an amazing price. My husband and I were both thrilled with the level of communication and flexibility prior to the wedding, since we needed some help planning out the reception timeline and had compiled over 75 requested songs via our guests' RSVPs. My friends and family went out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed the reception as a whole and Larry in particular, which meant a lot to us and made the day that much more joyous! I would highly recommend Larry Arnold for any event and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again if we have another big party in the Peoria area.

Larry was GREAT!!!! He did everything I wanted and needed and my guests LOVED him. The set-up was perfect for our location and he found all the songs I wanted. He worked very well with my reception coordinator and I was very happy to not have to worry or stress about my dj services... PERFECT!!!!

DJ King made my reception a wonderful event! Not only was the selection of music appropriate for all ages and tastes, the photo booth was a great edition and made a fun additional party favors for all my guests. Mr. Arnold and his team are very professional and any questions and concerns I had were answered promptly, usually followed up with an email to make sure all changes and additions were accurate. When you are in the middle of wedding planning, detail are key, and having that email kept everything organized and everyone on the same page.

I know there are a lot of DJ services to choose from, I talked to a few, but I am so glad I went with DJ King. The value I had with the package and options I got, along with the world class service made them the obvious choice. I wholly recommend them for anyone's event!

Great DJ. Accomodated everyone and I was very impressed with his handling of all the kids I had which were trying to see how he works his equipment. He was very patient with them and all their questions. He responded to everyones requests and was extremely helpful. Everyone had a great time and his music selection was amazing. He even bought a couple songs I made for special request and did not even charge me for them. He was awesome and totally made my reception fun for everyone which ages varied from 6 to 65.

Larry Arnold is an amazing DJ! He provides a wonderful service for not a lot of money! He sang Sinatra during our dinner at NO additional cost! Plus we had Karaoke the last hour of the reception at No additional cost! He is very out going and fun to work with! He really made our reception something special. Our wedding was halloween themed/goth and he really went out of his way in choosing fun sound effects and songs to make it like a halloween party! He even ran our costume contest! He has very nice equipment and a team of people to help. We got 3 DJ's for the price of one! Our reception was almost 6 hours long, with everything included, he cost less than 600!

An exceptional DJ at an exceptional price! You Dj sets the tone for your reception, and he definately made ours wonderful!!! Please choose DJ KING for your peoria area reception!!!!

DJ King Productions was outstanding at our reception!!! They played a wide variety of music, which was great since we had guests of all ages. And the photo booth was a huge hit with all of our guests. DJ King worked with us and our caterer to make announcements and just help keep the pace of the evening flowing smoothly. They were very professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them for any event!! I can't thank them enough for providing a fantastic evening of entertainment!!

Larry with DJ King Productions was wonderful to work with! He was very responsive to my email/phone correspondence leading up to the wedding and was totally accommodating and flexible with me when I drug my feet with getting my DJ info forms and playlist completed! It was about one week before the wedding by the time I got everything to him and he still pulled it off with no hitches! I'm not suggesting anyone procrastinate like I did, as I'm sure I gave Larry anxiety! :) He was nice for being so patient with me. I also really appreciated how Larry found time to discretely check in with me a few times the day of the wedding without taking me away from anything I was doing. You're pulled in so many directions the day of the wedding, so it's wonderful to have experienced people who can help make your day flawless with very little direction. He knew what he was doing, and he made sure all of the important details were covered before the wedding, but I really liked that he took the time to check in with me to make sure everything was perfect. He will take pride in the services he provides at your wedding and make sure you have one less thing to stress about!! :)

The DJ King provides a great service for a low price. He was responsive to my ideas and even last minute changes, and he genuinely wanted to make my husband and I happy. My only concern is that I had asked him ahead of time to play a certain song but when we requested in at the reception, he did not have it. Other than that, he was great to work with and very professional.

When you don't remember anything that went wrong and do remember all the fun you had dancing, you know the DJ was good! We had no issues and DJ King was helpful in coordinating the evening of our reception and helping it run smooth. A GREAT value! Excellent service

The DJ was very helpful and tried to do everyting I asked. There was one mistake however that stuck with me. I know I asked for a specific song by a specific artist to be played when my new husband and I walked down the aisle. The song was correct but the artist was not. It ruined that part for me.

Covid-19 - issued refunds without communication

My fiance and I received a refund check for our wedding without any explanation. We called and were asked if we have heard of Corona Virus. He refunded our money without any correspondence as to why, there was no email, no phone call, no enclosed letter. He also refused to accommodate our new wedding date of March 2021. He said he won't do any weddings until June 2021 due to the virus. His phone call was curt and rude. I left feeling stunned and confused about the situation.

My wedding was ruined because of this DJ

Larry had originally set up equipment in a different spot than I wanted because the venue mistakenly told him. I asked in the morning of the event if he can either move out 2 ft or move it to the other side of the venue as the head table was supposed to go there. Had a hard time agreeing to that because he said he didn't want to move his equipment but after an hour he did. During open dance floor he said he felt unsafe by a guest and end the event at 11pm and called the cops. The Holiday Inn staff (Kass and Patrick) told us that this was incorrect protocol. He was to call management if he felt unsafe by one guest and they would ensure his safety as did me and my husband. The officers also said that he was completely unprofessional and this was unnecessary for them to have been called. Do NOT book this DJ so unprofessional and disrespectful. Doesn't put the bride first and selfish to their own needs.
