DJ Kharizma was amazing to work with from start to finish. Easy and fantastic with communication making sure he has exactly what you want. Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding experience and he did above and beyond. His energy was non stop from the start of the wedding to the end. He was on the mic and involved with our party and had the dance floor full of our guests the entire reception. He was able to mix different songs together and do exactly what we could have asked for. I highly recommend DJ Kharizma for any event you would need a DJ for. -

DJ Karizma was super organized and helped us prep our song lists and walked us through the whole timeline for the reception. He knew the venue well and gave us great advice about the lighting. The package was reasonably priced and my husband was SO glad we went with the extra lighting package as well. All of our guests raved about how awesome the dance party was and I was so overjoyed to see everyone having such a great time! We also had a special moment with our private last dance. We would highly recommend DJ Karizma! So grateful for you, Chris!! -

Chris (DJ Karizma) was our DJ at my wife and I’s wedding on 5/23/26, and wow what a great choice he was. Chris was super informative and on top of things, taking so much of the work off of us leading up to the wedding, his punctuality stood out to me, arriving early and was ready to go when the party got started. He really knew how to read the room and kept the right music on to keep people on the dance floor and having fun , as well as accommodating song requests and such. Beyond him being a fantastic DJ, he’s an awesome person, very personable, hard working and really down to earth. You could not choose someone better than DJ Karizma for any event! -

When we began planning our wedding, the single most important thing to us was a packed dance floor. Chris came at the recommendation of our venue, and had an amazing system prior to the wedding to get an idea of what we wanted to hear throughout the night. He was SO patient and understanding of my extensive do-not-playlist. The vibe was amazing through cocktail hour and dinner, and as soon as the dance floor opened, it was packed and stayed at capacity the whole night. He did a great job at watching room to see if a song was getting everyone moving, and switching it up as needed. By the end of the night, it felt like 2006 homecoming, which was exactly what we had in mind for our reception. So many people messaged us after the wedding to say it was the most fun they've ever had at a reception, and that's a testament to Chris' talent as a DJ/MC. Can't recommend him enough if you're searching for a wedding DJ in the Hampton Roads Area. -

If you don't know what DJ to book for your wedding, please look no further! DJ Karizma was the first vendor I booked after the venue because I really valued the experience of the music, reception, and someone that is an amazing MC at getting the guests pumped, hooked and controlling a room for your timeline of events. I can say all my guests and other vendors at the venue said this was the one of BEST wedding receptions they've been too because of DJ Karizma. 🥳We were literally dancing and screaming the whole time and I never left the dancefloor once reception started. (Still recovering to get my voice back). If you have a type of vibe that you are going for for your wedding, he will listen with all ears and do just that. If I could give 11/10 stars I would!! We booked Chris (DJ Karizma) after a friend’s recommendation, and he exceeded every expectation. From the start, he was professional, organized, and clearly passionate about what he does. He provided us with great planning tools for music choices and timelines, and we had a call the week of the wedding to fine-tune our vision. On the wedding day, Chris was prompt, prepared, and worked seamlessly with our ceremony musician (the bride’s brother-in-law) to ensure the sound was perfect.
We gave Chris song choices for the key moments, a short list of must-plays, and then trusted him to do what he does best—read the room and keep the energy alive. We wanted a party, and he absolutely delivered! The dance floor was packed from start to finish and still going strong when the night ended at 11pm.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving: “Your DJ was on it all night!” Chris even went the extra mile by coordinating with the DJ at our after-party venue, so the celebration never missed a beat.
DJ Karizma truly crushed it—professional, talented, and fun. We would 100% recommend him for any wedding or special event! -

All I can say is HIRE HIM!
From our first messages with DJ Karizma, his respect for couples and his absolute passion for music was extremely evident. He sent us worksheets to fill out for both the ceremony and reception. The sheets were very thorough and super helpful as we began thinking of music we wanted.
After we submitted our worksheets, we had a call with DJ Karizma. He went through each and every song we requested, he played a tidbit of each one, and we confirmed it was the correct song. Later in the call, he respectfully brought up some concerns regarding what we had envisioned and how it conflicted with some of the logistics. We were so incredibly grateful for this conversation because HE is the professional and he was sharing HIS professional opinions. In the end, we took every single bit of his advice and it turned out EVEN BETTER than we had ever imagined!
One the day of our wedding (7/11,) DJ Karizma met each guest and vendor with the utmost respect. His announcements, his music, and his ability to service a room of many generations is impeccable. He kept people of all ages moving and grooving! My nanny (83) was even up and going with Get Low!!
Anyone can play music from a list, but DJ Karizma will bring your ideas to life, your crowd on their feet, and a smile to everyone’s face! -

I was referred to DJ Karizma’s page and as soon as we spoke, I knew he was the one. He had such good energy and was super easy to talk to. What really sold me was that he’s Caribbean — my husband is Guyanese and I’m Puerto Rican, so we really wanted someone who understood both of our cultures and could bring the music together in a way that felt like us. And he did exactly that!
From start to finish, Karizma brought the vibe and made the night unforgettable. He wasn’t just a DJ — he was also an awesome MC. He kept everything flowing smoothly, hyped the crowd when needed, and made sure everyone was having a great time. His energy was amazing the entire night.
He mixed the perfect blend of music — we’re talking Reggaeton, Soca, Dancehall, Salsa, R&B, Hip Hop, and so much more. He read the crowd so well and kept everyone dancing all night long, from our parents to our friends and even the kids. We’ve had so many people tell us how fun the wedding was, and honestly, a huge part of that was thanks to him.
If you’re looking for someone who really knows music, understands different cultures, and just gets it, DJ Karizma is your guy. We’re so happy we chose him. I’d book him again in a second! -

We chose DJ Karizma for our February wedding in Va Beach this year and first things first, his organization, communication and responsiveness were top tier. He had ceremony and reception worksheets, and song suggestions for us to review and complete which made it very easy to communicate all of our music preferences. He responded within a day or two to any questions that we had via email and text. We had a lot of expectations for our DJ such as the specific songs we chose for the ceremony, the grand entrances, reception and dance floor. We asked him to also add in some reggae vibes and all of his selections were a perfect fit for our guests. We needed his MC assistance with announcements for the audio guestbook and QR codes for the seating chart and disposable camera photo capture. He covered these announcements during cocktail hour as expected. He made sure all those that were giving a toast/speech were prepped and ready for their turn. He announced all of big moments such as the cake cutting, family dances, bouquet toss, garter toss..etc. He hosted our Photo Table Dash game and co-hosted our mini Newlywed game and his energy and enthusiasm were just what our celebration needed! We were impressed with him staying on top of everything we asked for. Our only disappointment was due to where the venue had the DJ set up (behind a curtain which obstructed his view) so our grand entrance music was cut short unexpectedly. We wish we would have communicated our expectation better with the venue as they were our day of coordinators and were supposed to be the DJ's "eyes." However, we would choose DJ Karizma again without hesitation for future events. Thank you so much DJ Karizma for making our wedding fun, hype and such a delight!!!! -

He was prepared and professional from our first meeting, had worksheets that made the process for figuring out what we needed for the reception, and was available for any questions or changes during the process. When things at the wedding reception changed, as they always do, this man was prepared to work with the changes and keep the party moving and everything was so seamless no one had any idea. I just want to say how amazing it was to work with DJ Karizma as a vendor. Not only is he very prompt and swift with his responses, he is also very personal and accommodating so that you will have the best experience at your event. He is also very adaptable. I've changed a lot of things for our vow renewal, even to the day of, and he was able to go along with the changes very quickly. On top of that, he was able to hype up the crowd during the dance portion of the reception, and easily is able to read the room to see the direction to take at our event. I've been to a lot of my friends weddings, and I'll have to say that he is on top with the greatest DJs of all time. If I could give DJ Karizma a million stars, I would! From the beginning, he put us at ease and made us feel like his only client. DJ Karizma did an amazing job MCing our wedding. We really started with nothing to give him, but his experience lead us in the direction of music genres we liked and really gave us inspiration. He also had some fun bride/groom games he suggested we could do, and really knows how to read the guests we had. He was very interactive and responsive with us before and during the event. His energy and enthusiasm for our special day kept the party rolling and always had people wanting to keep dancing throughout the night. Best DJ For Our Bicultural Wedding!
DJ Karizma brought our wedding dreams to life. When searching for a wedding DJ and MC that would be able to cater to our bicultural (Peruvian/American) entertainment needs in our surrounding area, we were feeling disillusioned at the lack of professionals we were finding. Extending our search to the Hampton area, we found DJ Karizma and we quickly learned he was the best fit. He was a great communicator, thorough in making sure he understood the "vibe," and really went above and beyond on all wedding preparation aspects. He was flexible when approaching changes suggested by our wedding planner for our actual wedding day, making the process very seamless. Our wedding day entertainment was beyond anything we could have expected and he did a wonderful job delivering on our set "vibe!" From a dreamy dinner including Peruvian Criolla music to lit reception classics like Pepas by Farruko and Trap Queen by Fetty Wap, he really did it ALL. My wife and I cannot stop talking about this DJ. We all know how stressful wedding planning can be, but working with him may have been the easiest part. This DJ is just so organized and professional in his process that it makes your wedding planning as a whole 10 times easier. Don’t even get us started on the musicality and crowd work. Best DJ Ever!
DJ Karizma had our entire dance floor on their feet having a blast for 3 straight hours, truly one of the funnest dance floors Ive ever been on. We received countless complements on how AMAZING our DJ was for days after our ceremony. Even though some of our requests were demanding he completely matched our vibe and exceeded our expectations. Could truly not recommend him enough! -

Magical love story
Paul and I were very impressed and delighted to have dj karizma at our weddings. Not only did he review all the details prior to the wedding but he was the highlight of everyone’s night. He brought sword lights, a smoke machine gun, and a great time. Our guest loved his skills and him!! There was some chaos but dj karizma saved the day!! DJ Karisma was absolutely the BEST! From the very beginning he was very responsive as I worked to secure a DJ for my Daughter’s wedding. When they had both returned from training, I passed the reins over to the Bride and Groom to work directly with Chris for song selections and wedding details. It all worked out perfectly! Perfect transition of the songs during the ceremony, cocktail hour and through dinner….a nice mix of oldies and Hawaiian as requested. OH… AND THEN IT WAS TIME TO DANCE!! Literally DJ Karisma had EVERYONE on the dance floor! Now this was a smaller wedding, about 60 people mind you….from the first beat the small dance space was filled…at some point I looked out to the tables…AND THEY WERE ALL EMPTY….EVERYONE WAS ON THE DANCE FLOOR!! It was an epic wedding and DJ Karisma played a huge part to make it Next Level!

Chris “DJ Karizma” was without a doubt the best money we spent for our wedding. Initially we weren’t going to hire a DJ to try to save money but we decided that wasn’t where we should pinch pennies. We found him after Googling DJ’s near us and his reviews were what sold us. From the very first contact we made with him we could tell he was going to be good. Throughout the entire planning process he made sure we were comfortable and was extremely helpful. At the reception he was able to read the room and make sure everyone was out on the dance floor having a great time with smooth transitions between songs. Every guest my husband and I spoke with once everything was over with raved over how great he was. We both highly recommend his services to anyone who is in need. -

Choosing DJ Karizma was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Not only did Chris play amazing music and kept the party going until the very end, he is extremely attentive and professional. He provided great worksheets to begin the planning process and stay organized and also went above and beyond with a phone call playing samples of each important song and explaining timing of how things would go. He took my very chaotic ideas and executed them perfectly! Everyone loved all of the different genres of songs he played and stayed on the dance floor until the very last minute. EXCELLENT DJ! DJ Karizma kept the crowd engaged with every song played! He didn't have much of a play list to go by, but we did tell him the genre of music we wanted played, and he definitely executed! Our experience with DJ Karizma was AWESOME. Not only did he handle all of the music for the wedding with ease— he made sure our reception was rocking all night long.

DJ Karizma was amazing at our wedding! He nailed the song choices based on the pretty vague descriptions of what I wanted for cocktail hour/dinner/dancing music. He kept the party going for all of our guests and was great at announcing when things were happening (cake cutting, toasts, bouquet toss, etc.). We didn't have to think about what time it was or anything. Chris would give my husband and I a heads up before he was about to announce something so that we would be prepared and that was SO helpful. Honestly, I don't think our day would have gone so smoothly if it weren't for him taking care of the timelines. 10000/10 would recommend!! -

DJ Karizma was great! He was very professional and responsive. He was so detail-oriented as well. It felt nice to have an organized DJ because they really do help run the show. My only complaint was that he didn't play enough of the set list we provided, but to argue that, he did keep guests on the dancefloor all night long. It was also a tough wedding because we had such a diverse crowd. I would definitely recommend DJ Karizma for you event! -

DJ Karizma went above and beyond for our wedding. We had a few mishaps due to another vendor and he stepped in and saved the day. He directed the crowd perfectly and clearly know what he is doing. True professional. I had so many people come up and complimented me on him. He kept the energy going and even played an extra song because the crowd asked for it. Absolutely best vendor I had at my wedding! Highly recommend!!
