Justin is an extremely talented DJ and a wonderful person to work with for our wedding. He was incredibly responsive, and his attention to our vision allowed him not just to listen, but to enhance it. Best dj ever = best wedding ever!
Justin kept the party going all night and ensured every age group had music that they loved to dance to. Even an older family member that I’ve never even seen dance was on the dance floor! He made my wedding so much fun that I don’t remember me or my husband leaving the dance floor for longer than a few minutes. I was so worried about people not dancing at my wedding, so if you’re worried about that - choose Justin Murta to make your wedding a party everyone talks about for weeks after because of the music and energy!

Hire Justin!!
Justin is an incredibly talented DJ that will make your reception dreams come true!
We had a double ceremony wedding and wanted a high-energy dance party that blended Bollywood and non-Bollywood music for our Nepali-American guests—and Justin absolutely delivered. He took the time to vet our song list in advance and crafted an incredible mix that had everyone dancing all night. The Bollywood tracks flowed seamlessly, and his ability to read the room and adjust to the crowd’s energy was spot-on. He even added a special surprise to Mr. Brightside for the last song. Multiple guests told us it was the best dance floor they’d ever experienced.
Justin was incredibly helpful and flexible throughout our wedding planning process. He created a medley for our first dance by putting three songs together. We had a lot of back and forth with our dance teacher and Justin as we cut some parts out but he was patient, and responsive and we created a medley that we really love and will cherish for the rest of our lives. Justin showed up early for the wedding to set up, and even micced one of the groom's friends to play cello. We are 100% serious that we have never seen a better wedding DJ than Justin. He rocks.

Justin was wonderful to work with from start to finish!! He was very organized, and helped us know all of the places where we could use a custom song. Leading up to the day of, he was very responsive to any last minute changes, or announcements that we wanted to add.
Day of, it was fantastic! Everything went so smoothly, and the vibes on the dance floor were great. I can't recommend Justin enough!

I had the opportunity to work with Justin last month for a wedding in Seattle. Honestly, he was the best wedding DJ we have worked with in the last couple years. Arrived early, made sure a the logistics were set, flexible set-up with a great aesthetic to his equipment and presentation. Our dancing was such an important piece of our wedding and Justin blew our expectations out of the water. No one wanted cake because we were dancing so hard. Best DJ Ever!!
No one wanted to eat cake at our wedding they were dancing so hard. We danced for 2 hours straight because of Justin’s talent. He was so easy to work with and did everything including bringing all the items needed down to a black tablecloth for his table. Justin has such a kind spirit and personally walked up to each table to dismiss them for dinner so as to not interrupt the dinner music and also help guests feel seen. I cannot recommend him enough, he made our wedding day perfect.

Justin led our party with pizazz and fit his style to our event. He was upbeat, fun and chose perfect music for our crowd.

DJ Murta was awesome! He was communicative, professional, non stop music and games playing during downtime and throughout wedding. He had a setup outside for the ceremony and I even had a mic! He also had another setup inside so we could go right inside to music and dancing. He even helped us before the wedding with editing our main song and going back and forth a couple times on this. We were lucky enough to have had Justin at our wedding, and it would not have gone as perfect without him. From the day we booked with him, I can not explain how much peace it brought me knowing he had everything under control. We spent over an hour on the phone and he answered any question I had. He has premade playlists to choose from or gave us the option to make our own / change whatever we’d like. Aside from being a genuinely kind person, I am very confident that Justin is the best in the biz. He is very professional while also making a stressful day, fun. Hire Justin NOW. Seriously. He is not only incredibly talented, professional, and communicative, but he also is calm, adaptable, and kept the dance floor going all night long! From the very beginning, he had a great attitude toward working a wedding, which I can imagine is not everyone's up of tea. He accommodated getting our two officiants plus the groom set up with lapel mics, and we had zero squeaky feedback during the ceremony. He also came fully equipped with cordless microphones and made sure the reception went smoothly and stayed on schedule. He has a great doc where you can request special songs, and he can read a crowd and what kind of music they are loving like no other. I seriously cannot recommend Justin enough. Just say yes!

We used Justin as our wedding DJ and we couldn’t have been any luckier that he was recommended to us! Multiple people commented on how much they loved the music choices and that people danced the entire time we had the dance floor open. He took our list of songs we wanted and ran with it, throwing in some I wouldn’t have even thought of that were perfect. He was there early and set up quickly so we had some time to chat and do a short briefing on what we wanted announced, songs, etc. Had so much fun, would definitely recommend Justin!

Much more than a Wedding DJ
Working with Justin was beyond a dream come true. When we started planning our wedding we already knew we wanted more than what we felt like a typical wedding DJ could give us; but we could never have quite imagined finding someone like Justin.
Justin really appreciated how important music and shared experiences of music are to our story. We spent hours talking with Justin over multiple meetings and it was obvious from the start how dedicated he was to understanding what we really wanted and what was really important to us. His attention to detail and communicativeness made it possible for us to curate all of the music throughout our big day in a really rewarding way.
A DJ with Justin's breadth of knowledge and experience can play anything that any couple could possibly want to hear -- but he did so much more for us than just play what we said to play. Justin was truly our partner in accomplishing one of our most important goals for the day: making sure the dancefloor was full of family and friends all the way to the venue's curfew. Instead of a playlist, we sent Justin notes and references for how we wanted music to fit into our wedding from start to finish. The result was a perfect soundtrack for the day, capped off with an incredible 2.5 hour set -- a hugely satisfying mix of our favorite sounds, thoughtful crowd-pleasers, and surprises that only a DJ of Justin's caliber could have put together.

An incredible DJ & Producer
Justin was incredible, I feel so grateful to have worked with him for our wedding. He kept the dance floor going and our guests excited. He worked with our silly requests and even PRODUCED a song for our wedding.
Justin handled the A/V during the ceremony and the music during the reception, he did both incredibly well.
He was easy to work with, before and during the wedding and was unobtrusive as a DJ.

We hired Justin to be our wedding DJ/MC. He was absolutely amazing to work with. He was flexible with our last minute venue change and worked with us to nail down all of our timelines and songs. Played great music all night and even gave some announcements in Spanish. He had multiple locations setup to support the ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend him for any DJ services!

Justin Murta is the best DJ you can hire in the Seattle area. He is so thorough, so thoughtful, and so talented that his work is completely seamless. I always find that the best way to provide a review is to ask the simple question, "would you work w/ this person again?" The answer to that is 100% yes! My spouse and I recently got married in Roche Harbor and we had met Justin about a year ago, by chance at Roche Harbor. He was easy to work with, guided us through both the DJ process, and the actual wedding timeline process, welcomed our music suggestions, was incredibly patient with us as details changed, and did a masterful job DJ'ing the wedding. We received many compliments, not only on the music selection, but on how Justin managed the evening, and how easy going he was! If you need a DJ for your wedding, I would say that Justin Murta has our highest recommendation, and we're very thankful he choose to be a huge part of our big day! Thank you Justin!

Justin is amazing at what he does!! He’s very organized with the upfront planning and guides you through everything to think about. He makes it easy and is very responsive and accommodating. The day of our event he did a fantastic job. He led the event on time and worked with our coordinator very well when we needed to slow down or speed up. For our father daughter dance he mixed two songs at the request of my dad and did it flawlessly. The rest of the night he had everyone on the dance floor, playing great music and really keeping the energy up! He was amazing from start to finish. An Amazing DJ - Above & Beyond
My wife and I received a recommendation from another wedding vendor to hire Justin after covid canceled our wedding twice and our original DJ canceled. Justin stepped up for us in a big way, committed to coming all the way to Roche Harbor, booked his own travel/lodging, and made our life so much easier. Not only did he go out of his way to make the logistics easy, but he is also a phenomenal DJ! Justin is friendly, easy to talk to, and kept people (Of all ages, including my 83 year old grandma) out on the dance floor and having a great time until they literally kicked us out. I would totally recommend Justin to anyone getting married in the Snohomish area, and is so professional, cool, easy to talk to, and just a great guy. I was specifically looking for a DJ that would play a mix of EDM to generic wedding songs and also mix well with our small group guests at our intimate wedding and Justin definitely made my wedding awesome! We got so many compliments on the music, and our ceremony music was flawless. A DJ Your Planner/Coordinator will WANT to work with

My husband and I were one of many couples who had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. After re-scheduling to our new date, our original DJ dropped out. After doing another search, we found Justin. Honestly, I wish we had found him to begin with because he was amazing! My husband and I feel very lucky that we found him. He is professional, easy to talk to and very very organized. He was so flexible with his set up on the day of the wedding and really communicated with us and our planner to make sure all of the ceremony music was perfect. We met Justin at a friend's wedding. He did a fantastic job at their wedding and so I grabbed his card. At first I was shocked because he didn't seem to ask many questions. But he sent me some very thorough paperwork to fill out. It helped me think of things that I would never have thought of. For example, song during the cutting of the cake.
One thing we loved about working with Justin is that he is so easy going, yet very professional and FANTASTIC at his job. We gave him the final song list two days before the wedding and had to change locations the morning of the wedding. He took everything in stride and went with the flow. Not only that, but he seemed like he had known all of it for months. He was responsive to me asking questions and very easy to talk by either text or email.
We also offered to send him home early due to the weather. He not only stayed, but helped us move to a warm and dry location. He went way above and beyond to help us have a fun and smooth wedding day. I don't have enough positive things to say about Justin!

Just the best DJ!
Justin did such a great job at our wedding!! From the beginning, he was understanding and very helpful. As a bride/groom who were planning a wedding across the country, we were nervous to hire someone we had never met. Immediately, during our phone interview, we knew Justin was the right guy. He made us feel very comfortable with the idea that our music was in his hands.
Then, on the wedding day, we had an outdoor ceremony and it rained! Poor Justin stuck it out and kept his music going until the last minute. His interaction and ability to read the crowd during the reception was awesome too. He was flexible and had every crazy or silly song our guests requested. He even helped our friends coordinate a bride and groom dollar dance off.

Justin did an amazing job! He is not the most expensive because he is booked so much, he doesn't need to make his money all in a few gigs! Come the day of the wedding, we still had a few twists and he accommodated quickly and professionally, not missing a beat (pun intended). Seriously, we cannot brag enough about how good Justin is. The best dance party, thanks to Justin!
Justin was amazing! He was extremely responsive throughout the wedding planning process and catered to our exact playlists on our special day. He made sure the day was about us and that my husband and I were happy with the music throughout the cocktail hour and reception.

Welcome back at our venue!
DJ Justin was the wedding DJ at Gray Bridge Venue this summer. As a venue owner, we see a lot of DJs and have experienced the good and the bad. Justin is AMAZING. We regularly recommend him to our couples because he is so good. Imagine dancing the night away to your favorite country western two-step and you realize after awhile that you are dancing to AC/DC. Justin is the DJ that can mix seemingly disparate songs together so seamlessly you won't notice the song change! He keeps the crowd on the dance floor and plays songs that guests want to dance to. He kept 150 guests dancing for 1 1/2 hours AFTER the bar closed and they groaned when the music had to stop. Justin is also well aware that having a microphone does NOT mean he needs to talk a lot and make the event about his own voice--he says what needs to be said and keeps the schedule moving but he doesn't rely on yelling into the mike or trying to pump up the crowd with his witty banter--his music and mixing do a great job at that!

Fabulous DJ and MC!
DJ Justin was the DC/MC at a wedding at Gray Bridge Venue. He was AMAZING! The bar closed early and Justin kept the ENTIRE crowd dancing for another 1 1/2 hours-without alcohol--and when the music had to end due to venue rules, the crowd groaned and wanted to keep dancing. It was a fabulous wedding and Justin was a key part of making the event as fun and well-run as it was. Gray Bridge Venue highly recommends DJ Justin and hopes to see him at many future weddings!

The Best Choice You Can Make!
We booked Justin for our wedding DJ and are so glad that we did. He was so easy to work with from start to finish. Easy to get in touch with, professional, and so helpful. Due to the craziness of planning a wedding, I was not able to get super detailed with playlists and stuff like that. Fortunately we had Justin as our DJ and he handled everything I didn't have time to. He provided templates for planning and filled in all the holes with fantastic song choices and MC'd the whole event. He took requests from wedding guests and helped guide the night along. We have received nothing but compliments from guests. Justin showed up at our venue and got right to work. Being so busy on that day, this was exactly what we needed. Cannot recommend enough!!

Simply, Justin is amazing! He was so easy to work with and always so responsive to our emails leading up to the wedding reception. We had some unique but fun requests for him and he was eager to accommodate. Justin played music that kept our guests engaged the whole reception (we were all sweating from dancing by the end of the night) and he is SO friendly and a great Emcee! Justin Murta was an excellent, highly professional DJ for my daughter's wedding. He was able to read the demographics on the dance floor to select music that kept the floor full and rocking all night with guests of all ages. The dance party was great because of the high energy mix of music and professional emcee skills of Justin. I would highly recommend him for wedding receptions.

Flexible, fair price, communicates well
DJ Justin Murta was flexible enough to add two hours to the contracted time, and did not charge “overtime” prices for it. He also responded quickly to my messages. He was also helpful in guiding our guests for food, and announcements. Overall he did an excellent job and we were happy that we spent the extra money and hired a DJ. However, we are hoping for future events that he would ask for permission first before playing a song not listed in the playlist we provided.
