Kept the party going rain or shine

My husband and I are from Miami and decided to get married in PR. Our wedding planner recommended Jose to us and we booked him without a second thought. When I tell you it was pouring rain at our reception and people were still out on the dancefloor should be a credit to his skill. The party literally never stopped. I skipped my bouquet toss, cutting the cake and everything because all I wanted to do was to keep dancing. He listens to what we wanted and what we didn't want played and always managed to mix in guest requests as well. I highly recommend him if you want a fun energetic reception party!

DJ José is the Best!

We hired DJ José based on a recommendation from our wedding planner, Anne Marie Kleis, for our destination wedding in Puerto Rico. We heard he mainly plays in Miami now and we told all of our friends to get excited about him. So needless to say we were expecting a lot and he absolutely surpassed our expectations! And to add to the experience he is a very nice guy!

I was able to share my Spotify playlists with him to give him an idea of the music we and our guests liked. Our reception started an hour early due to some weather so after some more relaxed dinner music, he ended up playing about four and a half hours of hit after hit based on a little over 20 song recommendations.

If you like the party and want all of your guests dancing the night away I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you DJ José for the amazing experience!

Amazing! Best dj ever.

Don't think twice- hire Jose. I had A LOT of specific requests for the timing of songs, etc and he nailed it. The sparklers were an amazing addition. He picked up on the vibe of the dance party and absolutely crushed it- we were dancing the ENTIRE night. Hire him!!

Amazing DJ - Everyone on their feet!

Jose is an incredible DJ who is talented at reading a room and musical selection. We are so happy that our wedding planner Rosalina Torres recommended him to us. Our dream for our wedding was to have everyone on the dance floor all night long, and he definitely made that come true. My husband and I especially loved all of the latin mixes on some old favorites. It had everyone on their feet! We are definitely thankful for all of the accommodations to the many requests that we made, such as my uncle singing a song, and the time he took to speak with him ahead of time to plan that out. Many additional thanks for the patience and kindness demonstrated with my brother, who has Autism, when the event proved to be a little overwhelming for him! It's with great pleasure that we highly recommend DJ Jose and he'll be the first to know if we ever decide to throw another party in PR!

Fantastic DJ - highly recommend!

Kept the party going all night!

Best Dj in PR

We were very pleased with him, we gave him our specific ceremony and dance songs but gave him free range for choosing a playlist for the reception and he did not disappoint.

The only wedding where guests danced to DJ more than the Band!

I cannot recommend DJ Jose enough. He was so easy to work with from start to finish. We wanted a DJ in order to play in between the sets of our band but WOW - DJ Jose absolutely crushed it! No one got off the dance floor in between the band's sets because DJ Jose's music was beyond amazing. It was a nonstop dance party. Everyone was raving about the DJ and the music at our wedding and it was one unexpectedly one of the best parts of our wedding!! We didn't even give DJ Jose any direction of what kind of music we did or didn't like because frankly after all the wedding planning and decision making it was one more decision that we just didn't end up getting to but he did not even need our input his music was AMAZING! I would hire DJ Jose all over again for any event and have already recommended him to other brides in Miami. I hope we get to dance to his music again!!

I was looking for someone that could accommodate all my music interest for our wedding. Jose Concepción was the right choice! He was able to balance all the music styles to please everyone in our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He is definitely the best!!!

I was referred to DJ Concepcion through my coordinator, Rosalina (Momentus Special Events) and prior to the wedding we had not met the DJ face to face. We provided him a thorough list of all the necessary songs as well as do's/don'ts for the reception music. He nailed everything. The ceremony music was perfect and the reception had people dancing until the last shuttle was ready to pull out of the parking lot. He took requests all night long and not one bad song was played throughout the night. Honestly I think the mark of a good DJ is that you as the bride/groom don't have to think about the music at all the day of the wedding, you're able to just dance your butt off and have a good time, and that's exactly what our experience was. I would highly recommend.

Danced the Night Away!

Jose is professional, talented, friendly, and knows how to take an event from an elegant evening dinner to an incredible dance party. You will not regret his services.

Prior to our wedding, we touched base with him twice over phone to discuss expectations and music. He was also responsive and diligent via text messages and emails, which made coordinating with him much easier.

On the day of the wedding Jose delivered! We requested for many music genres (I was worried it was too much) and he transitioned beautifully through the different styles. Not only is his musical timing perfect, the sound and light setup was on point. The music selection kept our guest and us dancing all night long.

Jose was great. He kept the party dancing and even entertained when we had wedding crashers. He was very professional and I would recommend him to anyone in the future. He played requests and also play lists that I had recommended for 90's to current dance music.

Wow! Jose knows how to make sure your guests are having a good time! He plays to the crowd, is responsive and puts real thought into what he does. Everyone at our wedding had a fantastic time and literally no one was sitting down. I would have him dj any event!! I can't thank him enough!

We chose Dj Concepcion because he came highly recommended and we are so happy we did!!! Our wedding was a blast!!! Everyone was dancing the night away! He had our crowd dancing so much. Jose was easy to work with!! Awesome dj and very professional. Thanks so much for making our night the best!!

(The venue said they didn't usually see guests dancing so long...) We were introduced to DJ Jose Concepcion by our wedding planner Rosalina Torres and we were so thrilled we hired him for our wedding! A great DJ is so important to your wedding day that I feel many people don't truly appreciate how important that is. You would never want the wrong song to play while walking down the aisle or a speaker to malfunction or skip during an important moment. To sum his performance up, he was perfect and flawless throughout our whole wedding day. When we first met him, we immediately knew he was someone who has a huge passion for his work, and it's not simply a side gig or someone who just pops in an iPod playlist to play songs for the night. He was happily showing us videos and pictures of his DJing gigs and showing us all the different cool gadgets and lighting and DJ booths he had, while asking us questions to get a sense of our taste in music.
For our first dance song we wanted to combine two songs which we were having a ton of trouble doing ourselves. Jose was kind enough to help us and we met up before the wedding to talk about it. We stayed in a cafe and we were just chatting like old friends while he showed us pictures of his ski trips. He is so friendly and has such a passion for his work. He is also very responsive to emails and texts which is a big help for the planning process.
On our wedding day, he played all the songs we requested (even the most random obscure ones), and it definitely brought a smile to our faces during the cocktail hour when we heard our requested songs being played over the crisp speakers. He came up to us during the reception to personally congratulate us as well. Wow, DJ Jose is seriously AMAZING! He was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and we really had no idea what to expect or what kind of music we really even wanted. We just told him what kind of vibe we wanted music wise for each part for the wedding by sending him some links to various songs (90's theme). OH MY GOSH, he absolutely nailed it! I wish I could give him 10 stars, all of my friends and family still can't stop talking about how good our DJ was!! My family isn't really the boogying type and he had everyone dancing, even my 83 year old grandma who hardly ever even cracks a smile for anything (for that alone he was worth every penny)! He was very reasonably priced too. This guy really knows how to read a crowd, and afterwards our friends were commenting on how they now understand how much of a difference a DJ can make in a wedding. He was also so quick and witty with his music choices, like when the groomsmen were all taking off their shirts to jump in the pool he started playing "i'm too sexy" and when they jumped in he was playing "Jump" by kris Kross. So on point every second of the wedding, our friends wished they had hired him to come to the states to play at their weddings! One of the most memorable and special nights of our lives and we can't thank him enough! Do yourself a favor and hire this guy, you will not be sorry!

Wow, DJ Jose is seriously AMAZING! He was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and we really had no idea what to expect or what kind of music we really even wanted. We just told him what kind of vibe we wanted music wise for each part for the wedding by sending him some links to various songs (90's theme). OH MY GOSH, he absolutely nailed it! I wish I could give him 10 stars, all of my friends and family still can't stop talking about how good our DJ was!! My family isn't really the boogying type and he had everyone dancing, even my 83 year old grandma who hardly ever even cracks a smile for anything (for that alone he was worth every penny)! He was very reasonably priced too. This guy really knows how to read a crowd, and afterwards our friends were commenting on how they now understand how much of a difference a DJ can make in a wedding. AMAZING!! I had some very quirky requests for ceremony music and he nailed every single one. We had a ceremony outside and the equipment he provided was perfect. For the reception, we asked for a dance party and got exactly that. Jose nailed it and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks so much!

Working with DJ Jose was amazing! We were having a Russian/Puerto Rican wedding and wanted to make sure all our guests could dance to their traditional music. Just before the wedding, we sent Jose a list of Russian songs without knowing whether he would be able to find them, however throughout the whole wedding he played all the Russian songs as well as Salsa, Merengue and American pop. It was really great that he was able to find all those songs, especially on such short notice. All of our guests were on the dance floor the whole night and DJ Jose really kept the party going!

Dj Jose was great! He kept the party going all night long. We had a variety of age range at the reception and EVERY single guest was on the dance floor enjoying themselves. He did an amazing job playing all the music we requested. In addition, he was so accomodating. I literally emailed him the entrance songs for the wedding party and for my husband and I, just hours before the reception and he made it happened and played them. Picking the right DJ is an important decision because that is what makes the reception a great and fun night and I am so happy that we picked DJ Jose.
