So much fun!

“Understood the assignment” doesn’t even begin to cover it. Jon was recommended by our photographer and we truly couldn’t be happier. He was great to work with leading up to the wedding and was a seamless part of the best day of our lives. If you want everyone to spend the night on their feet, Jon is the obvious choice.

A perfect match for a very picky bride

Jon was a perfect DJ for our wedding. We had a high bar as I had a very clear musical vision for the entire evening, but Jon absolutely delivered. We met a couple of times to go through all the details and nail the music down to the second for certain moments, and it ended up being perfect :) He built the right vibe for the right moment, nailed the announcements, and was great to work with. He also helped with our lighting, which created a beautiful ambiance. People say you don't remember the music, but I DID, and it made the evening so special. Thank you Jon!

We couldn’t have been happier with Jon as our wedding DJ! He was so easy and fun to work with from day one - super organized, quick to communicate, and his planning portal made everything simple. He handled the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception seamlessly, keeping the energy and flow perfect all night long.

Jon truly understood the assignment - he ran with our ideas, offered great advice when we needed it, and coordinated effortlessly with our photographer and planner to make sure every moment transitioned perfectly. His song transitions were flawless, his mixes were creative, and his hand-made DJ booth was a beautiful touch.

He brought all the equipment, all the hype, and all the good vibes. We can’t recommend him enough!

Jon Strader 💣

Jon delivered beyond what we knew was possible from a wedding "DJ," a title failing to capture the breadth of his contributions. Mid-way through the ceremony, Mother Nature compelled my bride to call the ultimate audible. As everyone booked it to the reception tent to avoid torrential rain, Jon made a chaotic transition appear planned for. He organized our guests to a flow of events that was changing on the fly. And the actual disc jockeying? Jon is a legend. He nailed our taste in music and led an amazing party. One of my favorite people at my own wedding. Thanks for everything Jon! It meant so much to have you in our corner.

He was the dj for our wedding!

He was SO great! He was the DJ for my sister’s wedding and my wedding, and we would both recommend him to anyone! He is incredibly responsive, professional, kind, fun, and patient throughout the entire process, he makes it so easy to put everything you are wanting for your night in one easy form, and he just executed my vision perfectly! My guests had a BLAST! And he is so flexible! We had to move the ceremony inside, and he didn’t make it a problem at all! Everything during the ceremony was heard perfectly, and the music was just amazing during the reception! The music was perfect and exactly what I wanted! Definitely would recommend for any event! From Calm cocktail hour to Emo night raging, best wedding ever!

Jon was the perfect person to DJ out wedding! Meeting with him before the event, we felt he was the right fit right away. His experience and the way he understood exactly what we wanted made us feel confident he was the guy for the job. We could not have imagined a better party! His entire music selection was perfect for each part of the day from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing. He was able to find obscure music for us, and figured out the hits our guests loved. He knew how to get the dancefloor going... and keep it going! Our guests are still raving about the music, and so are we! If you want the best DJ in the industry, hire Jon. He was such a plesure to work with, and I hope I get the oppertunity to work with him again in the future.

The Best DJ for Our Wedding Day!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than Jon! From our initial consultation to wedding night, he went above and beyond to make sure it was everything we hoped for and more. Jon took the time to get to know our music preferences, and has an online portal that makes it extremely easy to create a timeline and input everything from event details to likes and dislikes.

What really stood out was his ability to read the room. The energy was always spot-on, and every transition was seamless, whether it was during the cocktail hour, dinner, or dancing. Jon kept everything flowing smoothly.

We were so impressed by his professionalism and positive attitude. We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the music was throughout the evening, there were guests on the dance floor throughout the entire night. We can’t recommend him enough! Truly made our wedding unforgettable!

Loved working with DJ Jon

Jon DJ’d our wedding in October of this year, and it was AMAZING working with him. From the minute we started wedding planning, we knew the dance part of the reception was going to be a really important part of the day to get right. Jon is a real expert; he wove in our special song requests with hits that would get everyone on the dance floor. Jon also did the music & sound for our ceremony, and everything was perfect: the cues, the volume, everything. We loved working with Jon and would pick him again in a heartbeat.

The Best Wedding DJ

10/10 recommend Jon as the DJ for your special event. Jon was so easy going to work with, understood all of our requests, and made our wedding day an absolute dream. Highly Recommend Jon!!

You need to hire Jon for your wedding! From beginning to end, Jon was so wonderful to work with. Music is super important to my husband and I, and Jon was so game for our curveball requests. Also, no idea how he did this, but my 91 year old uncle requested Lebanese music and Jon somehow found some!! Our guests have continuously complimented Jon since the wedding too, saying how fun of a DJ he was. The dance floor definitely reflected that sentiment too! It did not let up once the night of our wedding and was constantly packed.

Absolutely perfect person to run our dancefloor!

n was a perfect addition to our day. We loved every moment of working with him.

When we first signed with him, he provided us with so many planning tools and helped us walk through so many parts of our day. From requests to planning the flow of our day, he had everything we needed and was available for advice and info throughout.

On the day of, Jon was absolute perfection. He was the emcee when needed, but let the music flow and speak for itself when it wasn't. The music was perfect the whole night - all of our requests were played, but seamlessly interwoven with other songs. the uplighting package was more than worth the investment, it added so much ambiance.

We knew we wanted to hire Jon immediately when we jumped on our first zoom call. His vibe was exactly what we were looking for both as an MC and as a DJ getting the crowd going. Jon's energetic but at the same time calming. He's been in the business forever and quickly picked up the kind of music we wanted for each part of the night. He got our parents dancing and all our friends dancing until we were kicked out of the venue. Multiple people came up to us afterwards saying how much they loved his DJing!

Most Epic Wedding Ever

Jon was honestly the best. His energy from the beginning when we first met a year before our wedding to the end of the night was incredible. His attention to detail was superb. He worked so closely with our venue and photographer the day of making sure everything went smoothly. His system and organization of getting information ahead of time, getting songs we wanted or didn't want, and playing the best music during the whole day was perfect. He has everything you need for your wedding and more. We had our ceremony at the same space as our reception with guest singers during the ceremony and he worked closely with them before the ceremony as well. Jon was seriously the best. We utilized all his services he offered and are so happy we did. Our day was perfect and he played a huge role in making sure everything went smoothly and as planned! Everyone kept saying our wedding was EPIC and Jon helped make that happen :)

High Energy, Collaborative, Good Vibes !!

Jon was our DJ this past August in at the Borsari Gallery in Dennis, MA and he was really everything we could have hoped for! From helping us plan the details of the wedding to bringing the party to life, we couldn't recommend the talents of DJ Jon Strader more. Definitely Read Our Vibe

Jon was great! We met virtually/over the phone twice before the wedding, and he was so nice and easy going, answered all our questions, and really seemed to understand the vibe we were going for (some country songs, some humor, some fast, some slow). The night ended up just being fabulous, our friends and family have made several comments about how much fun it all was! We had such an eclectic but totally on brand for us playlist - Luke Combs and Lil Jon, Elvis and JAX. It was fantastic and Jon just helped bring it together with the music.

What do you look for in a DJ? High energy, good vibes and someone who really listens and understands the direction you want your ceremony/reception to go. Jon exceeded all our expectations for our wedding day. The entire planning process was a breeze using his online portal and the day of our wedding he made every transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception seamless. The dance floor was packed the entire night and we even had an outdoor space where people were dancing. His lighting adds the perfect ambiance but also that extra pizazz you're looking for. Our favorite part was hearing "All I want for Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey but he kept the entire night full of perfectly balanced song selections. We couldn’t be happier with our decision with Jon and would choose him every time again if we had to.

No one better!

Trust the hype, Jon is the absolute best choice for a wedding DJ. He is incredibly professional and organized, and most of all turns a party like no one else can! He had us and our party up and dancing immediately and there wasn’t one bad transition or lull in the song choices all night. Also really special to me, my father and I did a duet on a keyboard in lieu of a traditional father-daughter dance and Jon took extra care to make sure it would go smoothly and integrate with his system perfectly, setting up extra time the week before for us to try it out. And as a super talented musician himself, Jon even took the keys for a spin during the last song of the night, our group’s favorite and final call go-to Bohemian Rhapsody. Jon really knows and loves music, seems like he can adapt to fit any vibe, and is a great guy you want to give your business to. Easy choice you won’t regret.

What can I say about Jon? Your offical hype man? A musical magician? Honestly, all of the above. We had a 2000s emo wedding and Jon gave us the Warped Tour playlist. I honestly think he was just as excited as we were for our day. Jon really grabbed our vision and completely nailed it. Jon is quick to respond and makes himself available for a call.

I can not say enough about Jon! Perfect Wedding Vibes

We are so happy that we hired Jon as our wedding DJ!

From our first meeting with Jon, we knew he had the right energy and professionalism. He was so excited to learn about us and what we had in mind for our wedding. He was very encouraging, and he made us excited to dance! He uses a client-friendly portal so that we could add wedding timeline details and song requests, which made the months leading up to the wedding a breeze.

On our wedding day, we met Jon as he was setting up his cool, handmade DJ booth. He was so excited to meet us, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of, from ceremony and reception microphones to special song requests. He provided just the right amount of emceeing, guiding our guests throughout the night. The cocktail hour and reception playlists were perfectly selected – just right to set the mood. After dinner, the dance floor was full for the rest of the night! He balanced the music so that it felt personalized while also appealing to our very mixed-generation guest list. At some point, everyone was on the dance floor! We couldn’t be happier with Jon!

We were super happy with Jon as our DJ for our wedding and recommend to anyone not to "skimp" on a DJ as music and overall flow is such a HUGE part of a wedding. Jon was flawless with every aspect from introductions, lighting, music, to reading the room. He was the ultimate hype man during the reception and you can tell he's extremely experienced in what he's doing. He was even vibing during the reception which shows he truly loves what he does. Best night ever

Jon was amazing from start to finish! We postponed and were lucky enough that he was available to do our new date. So professional, helpful and responsive. Solid Wedding DJ who knows how to entertain guests

DJ Jon Strader was the DJ of my wedding on May 29, 2022. He was referred to us by our wedding planner. When we 1st spoke to him, we knew he was the one that we wanted to entertain our guests. He is very open to communication either by email or by phone. His online portal is very user friendly.

The day of the wedding, when we got to the venue, he was all ready set up. The play list was a banger from cocktail hour, to dinner, to late night dancing. My guests could not stop raving about the music. DJ Jon took the direction of our music choices and came up with a great mix.
He was also very smooth with the wedding party introductions and announcements. He is a true professional, and I would hire him again in a heart beat.

Jon came highly recommended from a family friend who happily shared that Jon was just a great guy. Jon knew how to read the room, play and blend a mixture of genres' and was very personable; he didn't disappoint! One of the best parts of our wedding

DJ Jon Strader was INCREDIBLE. He got the dance party started in full force, and he kept it going to the very end. He accommodated all of our requests adeptly, including managing the crowd dynamics perfectly for our "last dance". He also nailed all of the other parts of the event, from a perfect sound setup at our ceremony to exactly the right background music at our cocktail hour. The best recommendation we can give is that all of our friends have been absolutely raving about the dance floor since the event. Amazing experience, even better guy!

Jon played at our small vow renewal this past June. I thought having a dj at such a small event and with a small group of people could have been a bit difficult getting people to dance, but he was such a hit! We let him choose the music and set the tone/ feel the vibe for the night and everyone was on the dance floor partying. He was super accommodating and genuinely wanted to make us happy on our day and get a vibe for what we wanted/ what our guests wanted to experience. He takes the time to get to know you and not only is he professional and great at what he does, but he's such a nice and happy person to add to your special day! We really liked the music he played for our group and enjoyed him as a fun addition to help us party!

The best... Hire this man

Due to COVID-19, my wife Shannon and I canceled the band that we had booked 2 years prior for our wedding day. It turned out to be the best decision we made for our reception. Jon came with a glowing recommendation from several other couples we know and he did NOT disappoint. After our initial phone call with Jon, we knew we had found our perfect DJ. Jon was incredibly organized, prepared, professional, and brought an enthusiasm to our reception that set the tone for a perfect night. Our dance floor was PACKED with 95% of our guests making their way to the dance floor thanks to Jon’s great energy and PERFECTLY curated playlist to bring our reception to life. We could not imagine our night without Jon, who felt like a close friend by the end of the evening. We cannot recommend Jon highly enough to anyone looking for a warm, fun, positive energy on their big day!

Best DJ Ever!!!

Jon was absolutely fabulous!! He was flexible with all the crazy changes we had to do.. We only had 4 hours due to covid and he still made it so perfect for us. His booth was so professional and the lighting was absolutely amazing. I wish we could have had a dance floor because I know he would have killed it!!! You'll never find a DJ better than Jon!

Beyond amazing

Finding Jon Strader for our September wedding happened by complete chance one day while scrolling through Instagram. We are SO glad that we chose him to DJ our September 2020 wedding. From our first meeting with Jon to the day of the wedding, Jon was there for us! Due to COVID, we had to cut our guest list and make some pretty big changes to our day, but Jon stayed positive and made sure our day was perfect. One part of the day that we will cherish forever was during our ceremony. A family member who was unable to make it to the wedding due to COVID and Chemotherapy treatment had written our opening prayer. Jon was able to have a recording played during the ceremony, which had everyone in tears. We cannot thank Jon enough for everything he has done for us with our wedding! We would recommend him to every couple looking for an amazing DJ!

The best DJ!

Jon was the DJ for our October wedding and we could not have asked for anyone better. From the beginning, Jon was easy to communicate with and always responded to our messages and questions quickly. We were set up with Jon’s website to pick our music for throughout the day. The website was super user friendly and helped keep our details organized. We also chose to go with uplighting and it was beautiful! We left it up to Jon to pick the colors and they were spot on. One of the best aspects of working with Jon was his attitude. Jon is so genuinely enthusiastic and has a great energy about him. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and he honestly does a stellar job. The music at our wedding was awesome, we loved every minute of dancing, and had so much fun! We can’t thank Jon enough and would highly recommend him for any event.

11/9/19 Wedding

Jon is seriously the BEST! We are so happy that he DJ'ed our wedding! He totally understood the vibe we were going for and was able to incorporate the different styles of music that we enjoy. amazing dj!

I was so nervous about finding a dj for our wedding and I'm so freaking thrilled we found Jon. He was so, so easy to work with--we had a few phone chats to go over the details, and his online planning tools are so thorough. We wanted a few obscure versions of songs played and he sent 'em over to confirm he had the right ones. When it came time for the dancing to start he played an amazing selection that had everyone from every generation dancing. Multiple people came up to tell me how great the dj and the music was. He also put up with my crazy family storming the stage to sing and dance, and deferred to me when my crazy aunt tried to grab the mic to (I presume) say something outrageous, which I very much appreciated. When I asked him about it later he was like "I got you, I don't let that shit happen to my couples," which pretty much summarizes Jon's whole vibe--he's *got* you and makes you feel so taken care of. You can't go wrong with Jon and we're so glad we chose to work with him.

Outstanding DJ (and such a nice guy too)!

I cannot praise Jon enough for his contribution to the wedding of my daughter (and now son-in-law) in the New Hampshire mountains on September 28, 2019. He was beyond professional yet personable, friendly and approachable with an uncanny ability to read the crowd and know what was needed at every moment of the day. Amazing wedding DJ!

Jon was the absolute BEST! When we were looking at wedding DJs we were having a hard time deciding since people have such different tastes and wants when it comes to music at their wedding. Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding and we wanted a full dance floor the whole night and we got just that! The dance floor was packed the whole night and he kept the party going until the very last song. As soon as I spoke with Jon I could tell he understood what we wanted and his years of experience on the night of definitely showed. We are still getting compliments on the music and our family and friends had the best time. Jon was able to provide ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music. He has an online system that is so easy to use and organizes the timeline. He’s extremely responsive and such a genuine, nice guy. We provided him with some music ideas and he made a playlist that was perfect. We cannot recommend Jon enough. If you haven’t already, book him!!

Phenomenal Service!

Jon was phenomenal! Not only is he professional and courteous, he checked in with us for any slight detail we may have missed. His client website leaves no step unturned when it comes to planning your wedding (i.e. music, timeline, introductions, etc). Easy payment options online.

The best!!

Jon was the best DJ we could have asked for! We picked him for our wedding because not only did we hear great things but he also had a photo booth we could use for our wedding! Which everybody loved! When meeting with Jon before the wedding, he took a lot of the stress we had away because he knew what he was doing and we obviously didn’t. He was also pretty much our wedding planner because he was so helpful! Jon was very organized, professional, And really made sure he made our wedding night perfect! Excellent, Easygoing DJ

We hired Jon for our wedding last month and he was excellent. He was quick to respond from the start, and really made an effort to work with the idea we had in our heads for the wedding.

On the day, he was relaxed, polite, professional but ready to DJ a wedding! We had a band playing as well, and he coordinated with them perfectly. His DJ both was quite nice aesthetically, which never would have occurred to me to consider, but I’m sure it will translate really well in the photos which is great.

He really read the crowd well too; the mix of music was great and there was always a crowd on the dance floor.

Go Strader, Go,

DJ Jon Strader was the perfect MC and DJ to our perfect day. Picking the right person to be accountable for the music on our big day was an important item on our to-do list because we understood how much this plays part in everybody’s experience. We’ve already received feedback from several guests in regards to how polite and friendly Jon was at introducing himself and connecting with our family and friends.

We couldn’t speak more highly of Jon and the quality of his service. At our venue we had an outdoor porch off of our main room where everything happened, and Jon was able to accommodate us with wireless microphones and a small speaker setup on the porch where we held our toasts and introductions. The main room was decked out with up-lighting which really turned the room around into the perfect vibe when it came time to dance. Perhaps the most helpful thing in our process was the DJ portal that Jon uses with his service. We were able to manage all of our “must-plays” here as well as enter our “special moments.”

It’s important to have the right person DJing your wedding because that person will be around and interacting with people throughout the entire night, and we couldn’t recommend a better person for this than Jon Strader.

Jon from the day we met him to even after the wedding was a great vendor to hire. He has a great presence in order to control how fun our wedding was

Jon worked incredibly hard the day of the wedding with ceremony sound. He set myself the groom up with a wireless mic so all our guests could hear me and my wife’s vows clear as day. Our JP was also setup with a Mic so she could read the ceremony passages. He is quick to answer any and all questions. Jon focused on us the couple so we could fit in all the reception events in a prompt amount of time so there was still plenty of time for all of us to Dance our butts off. His music selection is catered to anyone . He does great as well with special requests. His lighting package made our venue at Salem Cross Inn POP! The price was great for what Jon had to offer and I would only suggest him as my Dj moving forward.

No Brainer

Jon came in as a recommendation from our photographer, and it was a no brainer after we met him. We reached out to him by email and got an immediate response from him saying he wanted to meet with us and talk about our big day. He was our first DJ we were scheduled to meet, and after our meeting, we knew we found the perfect guy. He was beyond impressive! Organized, informative, and had an infectious energy about him. He answered any and all of our questions, and took any stress we had right away!!!! Honestly, if you don’t go with Jon... you’ve messed up! Jon was amazing!

We were lucky enough to not have to shop around much for our DJ. We had gone to a wedding where Jon was the DJ at and it was the best wedding! Once we found out Jon was available our decision was made! Jon is extremely professional and enthusiastic about his job. You can tell that he truly loves what he does. When it came down to the last week before the wedding I had realized that I was a little behind on our music selection. Jon kindly reminded me that we needed to fill in our online portal (which is super helpful and organized by the way), but told me not to panic and he could help us along the way if we needed it. Jon was sweet enough to have a phone call with me to help me sort through the pre-wedding cobwebs to assist in finishing our song list. We honestly weren’t concerned though. We knew that whatever he came up with on the day of would be perfect. Jon did nothing short of a perfect job on our wedding day. Everything from the ceremony right through to the last song of the night. He set the tone for our whole night! And from what we’ve heard, people had a pretty amazing time! If you ask me, your DJ is one of the most important vendors you will hire- they conduct your whole evening! We would 100% recommend Jon to anyone looking for a DJ in the New England area!!

Our review will never do Jon Strader justice. He heard our vision, answered all our questions, and put us at ease before our wedding day even happened. Jon was so much more than a DJ, he became part of our family that day. He brought our party to the next level. Jon had solutions before we even knew we had a problem. He brought music to our church when we realized we needed it without even a second thought. He supported us in mixing our current music taste with traditional "acceptable" church music, which was amazing. Multiple family members complimented not only his ability to read a crowd and bring a party but that he was a wonderful person that they wanted to hang out with. Highly recommend!

Hiring a DJ was one of the tasks we were most unsure about. We knew we didn’t want anyone cheesy and that was about it. After meeting with Jon we left feeling excited and that he really understood our tastes. Jon’s responsiveness, advice, and planning platform were so helpful in organizing our wedding. He was beyond prepared the day of the wedding and assisted with equipment and set up for my brother who played the ceremony music. At the reception we were blown away by his ability to play music everyone enjoyed and the dance floor was crowded from the first song to the last. Our wedding was two months ago and guests are still talking about how amazing the DJ was. If you’re considering hiring Jon, do it.

The bomb-dot-com

The DJ selection was looking bleak as I sifted through website after website of creepy dudes with goatees and tuxedos from a 2004 Men's Warehouse sale. My brother knows Jon and had him DJ his own wedding, so we met with him and knew instantly that we'd hire him. He is so easy to work with beforehand and has an easy-to-use website for clients to choose exactly what they want (and don't). During our reception, he kept the wedding flowing flawlessly, and was so intuitive in recognizing what the guests wanted to hear and finding ways he could help. (E.G. we had a photo booth and Jon suggested he make an announcement about it. Boom. Didn't even think of that.) Plus, he is just a delightful, enthusiastic human being. I can't recommend Jon highly enough! Stop looking at creepy DJs. Just hire DJ Strader.

DJ Strader brings the party!!

Jon’s presence at a wedding elevates the vibe and esthetic to a level that you rarely experience. We realized this initially at a friend’s wedding and (although not engaged at the time!) knew he’d be the guy to call someday. From the first meeting, Jon completely got our vibe. He was excited about our ideas and exuded the enthusiasm for music that allows him to truly appreciate every detail that you envision for your night. The uplighting - which I’ll admit was not even on my radar at first - was THE BEST final touch!! He completely illuminated the venue (within a tent, at a farm, in the middle of a wicked hurricane.) He complimented our color palette in a way I could never have envisioned - it was gorgeous. Our photos are all the more dreamy and I will have the tones in my memory always. The dance lighting is fabulous as well!! Do not question it - get the whole package. Jon’s online database is extremely convenient. He will remember every tiny detail that you request, so make sure to use it as your planner! He is extremely thorough, responds quickly to emails, was kind to guests and coordinated with the entire bridal party, communicated with other vendors and the venue. (He even coordinated a dance-off - trophy and all - that melted everyone’s faces.) Overall he is the sweetest dude ever, and will see to it that the only thing you will need to do, is enjoy every minute. It is a party you will never forget! Seriously - he’s your guy. When we first began the wedding planning process, I met so many over the top flashy DJs who constantly tried to sell me their products rather than listening to my needs that we were considering just plugging in an iPod and calling it a night. Then we contacted DJ Jon Strader. He is very professional, considerate, willing to work within your budget, and amazing at his craft. He guides you along the process and provides fantastic advice when asked. We received so many compliments throughout the wedding and reception and we couldn't have been happier. I wanted to leave a detailed review for Jon since picking out a wedding DJ was one of the trickiest vendor decisions we had to make. Unlike a photographer or florist, it's hard for a couple to "review" a DJ's previous work to get a sense of whether they will be a good fit.

Right from our first meeting with him, we could tell that Jon was a really enthusiastic, positive guy. He fit the personality profile we were looking for in a vendor -- he takes his work seriously, but he doesn't take himself too seriously. He is experienced and opinionated, but in a laid back way that's very easy to work with.

The day of the wedding, he got there early and had plenty of time to setup for the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. No one reported any issues hearing our officiant or vows despite it being pretty windy near the Maine coast.

For the reception, he was a great emcee, getting the guests fired up for the introductions and our first dance. He had a great selection of songs for the salad course that subtly built up so that the background music was getting higher intensity by the time everyone was finishing up and ready to get on the dance floor.

He blended well-known dance hit into well-known dance hit, so that people stayed on the dance floor and there were no lulls in the action. Once it started getting a little sweaty (the venue had no AC) and people were heading out to the hallway to grab drinks, he kept things going for the family members who stayed out there and used a slow dance song to bring people back out on the dance floor later on, to get it crowded again before the finale. He took the suggestions we had left for artists and wove those in throughout the night so that they didn't feel forced or out of place at all.

He's a fantastic DJ, emcee and wedding vendor, and I have no reservations about working with him again or recommending him to friends or family.

Jon did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Great communication, easy to use web portal where we could update our schedule and special songs. Jon was the DJ for our wedding a few weeks ago. From start to finish he was professional, fun, and creative. Jon Strader was our DJ and emcee at our wedding, and he was incredible! He has the perfect personality as a DJ and emcee - he's friendly, outgoing, but a total professional. We gave Jon some must play songs, but otherwise simply let him know the type of vibe we were going for and he chose the perfect mix of songs to play. Everyone was on the dance floor. Jon had the entire evening timed perfectly and helped move everything along very smoothly. We had our wedding at Salem Cross Inn (a rustic barn) and Jon has a custom wooden DJ booth that fit in perfectly, and looked a lot more elegant than some modern table. We can't say enough great things about Jon and highly recommend him for your wedding!

Where do I even begin? Music was on the top of the priority list for my husband and I when we were first sitting down to get the planning started. Jon was the absolute best choice for us and I seriously can't recommend him enough. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the same venue. He provided the ceremony equipment, sound system for a few vocalists and guitarists, cocktail hour music, reception music and MC'ing, uplighting... etc. It was so wonderfully planned out, the communication was so fast leading up to it, and I seriously didn't have to worry about a thing with him! People have been raving about how much fun our wedding was and a lot of that has to do with Jon. The music was perfect for all of our guests and we could customize/set the mood for what we wanted throughout each part of our special day. Thank you, Jon, for everything you were able to do for us!!

Jon helped make our wedding day incredible. He was on time, organized and totally professional. He did a great job organizing the walk ins as well as other points where he had to be the MC. He had the perfect sound set up at the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, all in different rooms. Most importantly his music kept the dance floor full the whole night. It is no exaggeration to say that Jon MADE our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. From start to finish he was extraordinarily professional, easy to work with, highly communicative, and efficient. He curated the perfect playlist which was no easy task given my husband's Caribbean background and my love for hip-hop. Working with Jon for our wedding was such a blast! He was recommended to us through our wedding photographers (Audrey Cutler Photography, also amazing so check them out), and we're so glad they did! Jon was so helpful and flexible every step of the way (even when our wedding venue got shut down!). He made us feel at ease and offered to help any way he could. We met with Jon a couple of times along the way and he always answered any small questions we had and helped out with planning the logistics of the day which can be totally overwhelming.

On the day of our wedding Jon was very good at keeping the timeline moving without feeling pushy. He made our bridal party and guests feel comfortable, not to mention the dance floor was packed the whole night. One of the things I loved most about Jon was that he really listened to our requests. All of the songs we wanted him to play were played and the songs he incorporated throughout the night fit our style perfectly. Our guests did not want the night to end, and one of the things I still hear from them is how much they loved the music he played. We were so thrilled by our experience with Jon at our wedding this past November 2017! Jon was extremely easy to get in touch with, always responding promptly to emails. Jon was GREAT! He kept all of our friends and family dancing until the last minute of the evening! He was very responsive from the minute we booked him until even after the wedding when he checked in with us to see how we were doing. I really can’t say enough positive things about Jon. He was our DJ on 10/20/17. Although we would call him our DJ he did so much more.. he was certain to make sure all the important moments were kept on schedule and announced. Jon was AMAZING! We first saw him at my cousin's wedding, and we were so glad he was available for ours with only 3 months notice. He was super easy to work with and really wanted to make sure he got everything right - including the groom's Russian relatives' names! Jon had never been to the venue (The Gardens at Elm Bank) before, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from him checking out the gardens the week before.

We just had our wedding at the Salem Cross Inn, and it wouldn’t have been the same without DJ Jon Strader. Jon was really easy to work with, and his excitement was infectious. He understands how important the DJ’s job is, as both the DJ and the MC. We wanted to play music that would get everyone dancing- old, young, and everyone in between, and he nailed it. We had several guests tell us that they’ve never seen so many people dancing for the entire night. It was a blast. The music sounded great, the lighting was awesome, and he did a great job coordinating and announcing all the wedding events. I would absolutely recommend Jon, and we will be recommending him to any of our friends getting married in the area. I would love to go to another wedding that he DJ’d! Folks, Jon Strader is the man to make the party happen. When we first met Jon, I was on board when he said, "My job is to be the entertainment organizer of your wedding, not just the DJ." Jon is a pro at making a party happen and I was very happy to have him as our entertainment manager.

Jon read the crowd VERY well and modified the music to keep the dance floor filled... seriously, filled. I was shocked at some of the people that were dancing. Also, Jon was managing all situations and timelines for us. He was proactive about a mistake I made with the transportation at the end of the night and we handled it as a team.

I plan on asking Jon to work with me on all of my corporate events and I recommend you work with him on yours. Thank you again Jon!

Jon is hands down the best! His energy, attitude and professionalism are amazing. He was so easy to work with from our first consultation meeting with him all the way through to the week of our wedding. Jon was especially helpful in working with us to select songs for dances, ceremony, etc. after we hit some roadblocks on finding some songs for dances. Jon's energy and music kept the dance floor going during our entire reception! Many guests commented that the dance floor was never empty. Jon also coordinated our photo booth services (which were great!) and completed up-lighting for us at the reception. Choosing Jon as our DJ was one of the best and easiest parts of our planning process! Jon was absolute perfection. If you are a bridezilla like me (haha), Jon is who you want to choose. Jon's website is amazing! My husband and I were able to select songs for each part of our ceremony and reception on his website. Jon worked tirelessly with me to find the correct version of songs that I wanted. He always responded to emails immediately and in an upbeat manner. In addition to his outstanding attentiveness and professionalism, Jon is a true artist! He chose additional songs to play during our reception that fit seamlessly into the playlist we had already chosen. Y'all, Jon is like living, breathing, Pandora, but better. I LOVED all the additional songs he picked. We had SO many people compliment the music at our wedding. A few people even asked for our playlist. When we asked Jon to send us the playlist from our special day, he sent it over immediately in a neatly typed file. So awesome! Like, how cool is it that he was willing to help us even after our wedding day?! On top of all this, Jon just brings an amazing energy to your event. He was so positive. He really put a smile on everyone's face. He kept the timing of our event perfect. He seriously relieved so much stress from me that day - it was like having a day of planner - he made sure everything happened right on time and everyone was where they were supposed to be when we did our special dances! I should mention, I live in Nashville, TN but was planning a wedding in Hingham, MA, so he did all this meticulous planning with us from a different state. SO AMAZING! One word: awesome! Jon was incredibly helpful and accommodating as we planned our wedding from afar (we live in TN, married in MA). He was extremely quick in responding to any questions or concerns we had via email, all the way up until the day of the wedding when we finally met in person! It put our minds at ease that everything ran so smoothly and professionally. Jon provided us with a sound system for our ceremony so that everyone in the back row could hear us clearly. He was very efficient throughout the night from introducing our wedding party, moving the night along for dances and the cake cutting, announcing group photos for us, and getting people out of their seats and onto the dance floor! We have had family and friends request the playlist from the wedding, too! Jon played a great variety of music for both our dinner, reception, and dance party that everyone enjoyed from every era and genre. His energy kept everyone happy and entertained throughout the night.

DJ Jon Strader is a genius at reading the room and turning the excitement up to a fever pitch. Things happened on that dance floor that I can't even explain. My new hubs and I had massive Michael Jackson moment to Billy Jean. At some point I found myself in a Vogue off with my friend Matt -- and I saw him bust out dance moves I didn't know he was capable of. Certain friends who are usually wall flowers were dancing their hearts out. I am not really a get-up-on-the-bar person, but I was up on a chair dancing to Whitney Houston!

The temptation is to chalk it up to wedding magic, but I know better. Those things happened because DJ Jon Strader made them happen!

To rewind -- Jon was a pleasure to work with. He returned all my emails instantly. He clarified my vision and provided me with recommendations. He provided me with uplighting for my venue and it was gorgeous. He hit all the musical cues and integrated my fiancee's family's Greek music into the lineup seamlessly! I had a complex wedding and he completely nailed it.

You should be so lucky to get Jon Stader at your wedding! Book him as soon as you can!

Jon was amazing from start to finish. Very responsive via phone, text, and email, and offered the most exceptional service. He took time to get to know my husband at I personally at several different meetings. When our wedding day came, the songs were played just as we envisioned and were on time with each of the different parts of our reception. His songs kept everyone dancing and his announcing had all at attention when it was needed. The reception went without a hitch, which is a super important job for the DJ since he is the one who is ultimately responsible for the direction of the entire night! His attention to detail was on par with mine (the bride), which is rarely the case with some vendors who consider your event just another weekend doing their job. Jon is everything you want in a DJ - smart, funny, incredible music knowledge and professional. The music was really the most important part of the day for us. Not only did Jon deliver what we wanted but he added his personal flair and skill to make a night we will never forget. From the first email communication to a pre-wedding video chat, and even after the big day, he was perfect. One of the most important qualities for us in finding a DJ was no cheeseballs - We didn’t want gimmicks or silly games. Jon was enthusiastic and fun without trying to steal the show. Throughout the whole process, he was genuine and truly happy for us. Jon was quick to respond to emails and very helpful. He helped us find the perfect ceremony music and even had great advice when we struggled to plan the perfect parent dances. He played all of our favorite songs throughout the night and had everybody dancing the entire time. He played everything we requested and snuck in a few requests to keep all guests happy. Jon smoothly guided us through the evening, from our ceremony, to introductions, first dances, cake-cutting, and reception. Jon Strader is truly a professional and I would highly recommend him for any function. We are hoping someday down the line to have another event worthy of his hiring!
