DJ Johnny Rich is the absolute BEST DJ & hype man ever!! He made our day even more special through the great music choices & being our MC for all the moments. He kept the dance floor going all night & he truly was one of the best parts of our special day. 100% request dancing in the clouds & CO2 cannon, so fun!! DJ Johnny Rich absolutely crushed our wedding!!! From the ceremony to the reception, everything was seamless. One of the coolest features was his app, which allowed us to easily add songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. It made the whole process stress-free, and he nailed every selection. The energy on the dance floor was unreal—he kept everyone dancing all night! The cold sparks and CO2 cannon added a concert-like vibe, making the night truly unforgettable. Our guests are still raving about how great he was! If you’re looking for a DJ who brings energy, professionalism, unique extras with incredibly reasonable pricing packages, DJ Johnny Rich is the one!! My husband and I cannot thank him enough for making our wedding dreams a reality!!! -

DJ Johnny Rich did such a wonderful job at our ceremony and reception! He was super flexible, responsive to all of our requests, and even remembered little details I had forgotten on the big day. Ours was a small wedding with quite a diverse group and he still managed to keep the dance floor absolutely LIT all night. We are so appreciative for all that he did to make the day run smoothly and to give everyone a great time! We would definitely recommend him for any of your events, specifically weddings. -

My wedding was perfect thanks to DJ Johnny Rich! He did so great with us helping lining us up and MCing during certain times of my wedding. I had a smaller wedding but he kept the little we had on the dance floor! He was nice and accommodating from the very beginning when we first hired him. He went above and beyond when the day of my wedding a brand new song came out and I texted him asking if it was too late to add it in and he had it already downloaded for us knowing we’d enjoy it!! If I have another event in naples I will be hiring him again! -

Dj Johnny was phenomenal he went above and beyond to make sure the music was hitting and he did just that. We had a bumpy road along the way when hurriance Ian hit and a lot of back n forth with my husband in switch venues etc and he stuck with us the entire time and never had any doubt. If I could give more than just 5 stars I would cause he deserves more than that.
My officiant also had to cancel the day before due to emergency family stuff and he stepped right in no questions asked and honestly would recommend him to be your officiant as well.
Can’t thank him enough for making our night so memorable!! -

DJ Johnny Rich was a huge hit at our wedding on 3/2/24! Having a DJ that would keep the dance floor moving all night was a top priority for us, & we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour outside on the beach - Johnny set up everything we needed for the outdoor part of our wedding day and promptly made it back inside for the reception. The uplighting, multiple mic options, & his beautifully handcrafted DJ table were all great touches to our big day. We enjoyed all the songs he played, and he was great about playing guest requests while still honoring our do-not-play list. Communication was always easy, & he is very responsive to messages. There is no doubt that we would choose DJ Johnny Rich again for any DJ services, and we highly recommend you do too! -

We had our wedding 2/10/24. Now I have been to many weddings including my own best friends and there dj wasn’t that great. But Dj Johnny Rich here absolutely KILLLED our wedding music. I warned him ahead time we had quite the party crowd and he did not disappoint. Between the songs I requested the way he mixed it up was perfect! He is your go to ultimate hype dj for sure. He also helped with my ceremony as well as my officiate couldn’t make it anymore he filled in and played the part and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Seriously cannot thank him enough for just making our night so perfect! Highly recommend him -

DJ John Rich was fabulous! 1000% recommend using him for your event! His set up was super sleek and created a great atmosphere for the event space. Music was exactly the vibe we requested. We had an event hall and roof top bar which he managed the lights and music from super well. He also had the ability to handle awkward family dynamics with first dances that was off the charts and made us feel so at ease on our wedding day. -

DJ Johnny Rich is the DJ you want at your wedding. First, he is extremely affordable compared to every other DJ in the area. This part made me nervous. I thought, "how could he provide so much and still be 'good'?" As I will discuss, this is why DJ Johnny Rich is the DJ you want. Second, working with him is extremely easy. He will send a digital contract but then also a 4 page sheet about your day. The 4 pages details everything he needs to know to MC the event, but it also includes a questionnaire about music for the dancing. DJ Johnny Rich asks which group dance songs are "yes" and "no", what are the 30 must play songs, and if there are any "absolutely do not play" songs. This all felt so comforting to know that he was taking consideration to our feelings on what musical preferences we had. Third, the actually day of was excellent. Just perfect. DJ Johnny Rich was able to take my few, vague guidelines and help make it come true. He MC'd the ceremony. The lapel mic was not working with the window of my venue but he has a back up stand mic which then brought sound back so everyone could hear. Then the music during dinner was on point. I had given the vague guidelines of "music millennials like but some music thrown in for the older generations" since our wedding was all family with only a few friends. My Uncle (late 60s) got down on the dancefloor to the Cha Cha Slide. He said "I remember when this came out and I would play it in my car. I realized it was something you could dance to, but I had not danced to it before." My cousin (late 30s) came over to me to say, "This DJ is REALLY good! Like just awesome!" These are all true and actual quotes. From the bride and groom's standpoint, we loved every song played. Nothing popped up that irritated me or the groom. The groom was quick to point out that DJ Johnny arrived to unload the equipment and the groom was nervous about his attire, but then was pleased to see that in seemingly the turn of his head, DJ Johnny Rich had gotten into a suit and looked very professional. Then during the reception, DJ Johnny Rich came over to ask about dessert and the transition to dancing. The groom was impressed with this attention to detail. Overall, I am floored by the amazing work done by DJ Johnny Rich. It's just over a week later and I am still so impressed with the work. I feel like I won the DJ lottery. Book DJ Johnny Rich! -

outdoor wedding/amazing DJ
I interviewed several vendors and DJJohnny was one of the most flexible to work with. Showed up early, stayed late and kept the dance floor alive all night long. Great song selection, great acoustics and beautiful set up. Literally at one point every person at our wedding was on the dance floor having a great time and most of the night 80% of our guests were dancing. His set up was professional and beautiful. He brought us extra lighting and mics and didn’t charge us anything extra. Loved that he worked independently and not for a large company so the entire price of his services went to him. Great value, other vendors wanted 2-3x for the same services. -

DJ Johnny was great to work with! He made the process so smooth from start to finish. At one point I thought I wouldn’t have my wedding due to hurricane Ian and he was so patient and flexible as I tried to figure out where the event would take place. On my wedding day, the music was great and he was a wonderful MC throughout the event. I will definitely book him again if I have an event where I need a DJ. Thank you for everything! -

JR did an OUTSTANDING job at executing our ceremony precessional & recessional songs, as well as our first dance songs. He faded out the songs at the correct times and played all our “must play” requested songs. Very professional, highly recommend! -

DJ Johnny did an awesome job at our wedding. He had everyone dancing and even laughing!
He has a very helpful questionnaire with everything he needs to know before the big day—even a “do not play list”
The guests did not leave the dance floor…even the photographer joined in!!
We gave him about 30 songs that we liked, but we wished he played more of them.
Overall, great set and would highly recommend him -

Hiring vendors for your wedding is not an easy task. Planning your wedding from 1300 miles away seemed impossible. From the reviews on WeddingWire, we contacted DJ Johnny Rich. He made us feel very comfortable and we hired him based on his services offered, and his experience, especially in DJing weddings.
It was still nerve wracking getting close to our date. JR was always responsive to our requests and was even able to accommodate a last minute change on the fly. He did a great job providing sound and music for our ceremony as well as being MC and playing great dance music for our reception.
We highly recommend hiring DJ Johnny Rich whether you are local or from several hundred miles away. You will be completely satisfied that you did.

He played music that everyone was able to dance to, and paid attention to our requests. He also took time to meet with us before the wedding to go over our song requests and other details of the day. Disappearing DJ
The hurricane was hard for all of us. It happened 3 days before the scheduled wedding which could not take place because Fort Myers Beach was closed, not to mention, the location no longer existed. It took 3 months to receive full refunds from everyone except this DJ. Not only did we not receive a refund, he NEVER REPLIED to any emails or phone calls. I would NEVER recommend someone who ghosts a bride when a natural disaster has her starting from scratch. To clarify, he does have a no refund policy on his contract but the disaster relief fund from hurricane Ian would have reimbursed him for his losses. Since posting this review, he did first offer to refund us the deposit to take down the review. He has also refunded the deposit as of 5/13/24. The original wedding was scheduled for 3 days after Ian hit Fort Myers, Oct. 2022. -
