From the moment we first connected with Justin, his professionalism shone through. He was prompt in his responses, attentive to our needs, and incredibly organized. We appreciated how he took the time to meet with us prior to the big day to understand our musical preferences, timeline, and any special requests we had. His attention to detail was evident from the start, and it immediately put us at ease knowing that we were in good hands.

Incredible DJ... 10/10 Recommend

Hiring DJ Jas was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding weekend. He handled everything: our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, Baraat, ceremony, reception, choreographed dances, and the full dance floor - and absolutely crushed every single moment.

From day one, he was incredibly thorough and intentional in his preparation. He met with us as often as we wanted, took the time to really understand us as a couple, and made the entire collaboration feel effortless. He welcomed our playlists and suggestions, but also took creative ownership in a way that elevated everything. The result? There was never a dull moment.

The dance floor was electric. Truly. He had it rocking all night long. Multiple guests came up to us throughout the weekend saying how incredible the DJ was and how much the music stood out across all of our events.

And the Baraat… that was next level. This is a non-traditional element for many DJs, but he embraced it fully and CRUSHED it. Mobbed down State Street with him by our side, music blasting, our friends and family dancing through the streets - it was one of the best moments of our lives. He understood the cultural importance and delivered beyond what we imagined.

Beyond his talent, he genuinely cared about us. He was easy to talk to, always available for questions, calm, collaborative, and fully invested in making our wedding unforgettable.

We truly couldn’t imagine a better DJ for our weekend. If you want a packed dance floor, flawless execution, and someone who deeply cares about getting it right - DJ JAS is your guy.

Absolutely no complaints

We hired DJ JAS Productions for our NYE wedding reception and he was honestly fantastic! Since it was a smaller wedding, we really wanted the reception to feel lively, and he delivered! The dance floor stayed active all night and he did a great job reading the room and keeping the energy up.

He was also very responsive to our requests on the dance floor!

Planning was super easy, too. He was organized, communicative, and flexible, which made the whole process feel straightforward. Multiple guests came up to us during the night and told us it was the best wedding DJ they had ever heard.

Best wedding DJ!

My husband and I can't say enough amazing things about DJ Jas. He was a referral from our photographer and we're so happy we listened. From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, organized, and easy to work with. We let him take the reins on the day of and he truly understood the vibe and delivered beyond our expectations. The music flowed perfectly all night -- from the cocktail hour to the last dance, every moment felt seamless. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire evening, and so many people told us afterward that it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding.

Zero regrets!!

Where do we even begin?! We found Justin (DJ JAS) on TikTok and were instantly impressed by his smooth transitions, creative remixes, and upbeat style — but WOW, he completely exceeded our expectations.

From day one, Justin was professional, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented. He helped us curate custom playlists for every part of the day — from pre-ceremony to our final dance — setting the perfect tone and mood at every stage. Music was one of our top priorities, and thanks to DJ JAS, our dance floor was PACKED all night long. We’re talking sore-feet-the-next-day energy (which he promised us in one of our planning meetings — and delivered 1000%). One of our groomsmen literally skipped the bar, the photobooth, and the guestbook because “the jams were just too good.”

Beyond the party, Justin handled all things audio like a pro — our ceremony mic setup was crystal clear, and he even coordinated directly with our officiant before the ceremony to make sure everything ran smoothly. He was also incredibly respectful and flexible when my dad planned a surprise — communicating ahead of time and helping pull it off flawlessly.

Hiring DJ JAS was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. His energy, skill, and professionalism made the entire day unforgettable. We cannot recommend him enough and are already dreaming up another event just so we can work with him again!

Best. DJ. Ever

DJ Jas is an amazinggggg DJ. Not only is the skill and talent present, Justin is also extremely good at communicating, accommodation and making sure the client is getting what they hope for. His mixes are amazing and he knows exactly which song flows into the next. My wedding was full of musician guests and the amount of people (musicians and not) that came up to me saying this was the best DJ really tells you something. My sister has an upcoming wedding next year and I already recommended him as she loved the music and good times at mine.

He really got the crowd excited and followed cue lines to introduce different events happening that night. He was extremely professional and on top of it.

Any event that is in need of DJ/music I would recommend DJ Jas 100%

The Best DJ EVER!!!!

DJ Jas was exactly what we were looking for in regards to music for our wedding. We found him less than 6 weeks before our wedding, and he made himself available and so accommodating to our needs. All of our guests raved about how good the music and vibes were. He made himself available through text and meetings, listening to all of our needs and wants, making the process extremely smooth during a what can be stressful time! Incredible DJ and Emcee — Made Our Wedding Weekend Amazing!

We can’t recommend Justin (DJ JAS) enough! He was an absolute standout at our two-day Indian wedding, handling everything from music and lighting to emceeing with incredible professionalism and energy.

Justin knew exactly how to read the crowd, keep the vibe right, and seamlessly guide guests through each event—from our lively Sangeet to the heartfelt ceremony, elegant dinner, and high-energy reception. The transitions were smooth, the music was spot-on, and the dance floor was packed all night!

Best Night Ever

We had the pleasure of having DJ JAS dj and emcee our wedding in June. He was not only so professional during the lead-up with scheduled meetings, going over timeline, and working with our other vendors, but truly he made the night THE MOST FUN wedding we've ever been to. And we're not just saying that because it was ours. Every time we see any of our guests, they rave about the music and confirm that it was the best wedding ever. Phenomenal experience

Justin from DJ JAS was great to work with. He was our DJ at our wedding in June at Oak Grove Ranch. He is very professional and his planning tools make the process seemless. He had multiple zoom meetings with us to go over every detail of the wedding. He was able to set up seperate audio systems for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The uplighting he provided did a great job setting the atmosphere of the venue. His music was spot on and he was even able to make some edits to a song for us. He's not someone that just shows up and plays a Playlist. He is a true DJ that takes great pride in his work.

Perfect DJ

Dang. DJ JAS exceeded our expectations 10 fold. And that’s saying something because we were familiar with his game from attending a friends wedding where he DJ’ed their epic dance floor.

On my first call with Justin we clicked. His easy going personality and passion for DJ’ing made for great conversation.

Planning out the set was a breeze. We were able to provide all our songs via Spotify playlists and worked with Justin over two calls to collaborate on the vibe from start to finish.

He not only executed it to perfection but he made custom drops for our walk out, had unique mixes during the party and MC’d the entire event in the most professional way.

Did I mention all the equipment was top of the line? His equipment and lighting were a huge contributing factor to the overall success of the event, he helped create an ambiance that was wonderfully dramatic! Not a single mic issue, sounds were never too low, lights were more than we needed.

All for one price. It’s seriously a one stop shop experience.

10/10 would recommend.

DJ Service for Wedding

When planning our wedding at Glen Annie Golf Course in Goleta, CA, we knew that having a great DJ would be instrumental for the day of. Justin was a recommended DJ from our venue, and was also recommended by our photographer during one of our meetings. Immediately after that call ended, we looked at Justin's website and knew that he was exactly what we were looking for. His website was super easy to use, and his custom music he has on display was a great insight on what he could do. Justin was extremely helpful, polite, and incredibly efficient. There wasn't anything we as the bride and groom had to worry about in regards to announcements, music, etc. He not only catered to our music selection with great variety, but continued to read the room as the night went on. All of our guests spoke highly of the DJ and how much fun they had on the dance floor, and it's something we will forever cherish! 5 stars is not enough to showcase just how amazing and dedicated he is. If you're looking for a DJ for a wedding or any special event, Justin is absolutely the man for you.

DJ JAS is the best!

We were beyond impressed with Justin as our DJ and MC for our wedding at Rancho De Las Palmas! Justin was highly recommended by our friends and did not disappoint. From the very beginning his professionalism stood out. We met before booking and the session was extremely informative. Justin also has his own site where you can add all your music preferences and add the information for your wedding day. Justin took time to meet with us multiple times leading up to our wedding to make sure we were completely comfortable with the flow of the day. He was on time, had all his own equipment for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, did a MIC check with our officiant, provided wireless microphones for ceremony and reception and included uplighting in our reception space. What was most impressive though was our dance floor being full ALL NIGHT. Justin truly knows how to read a room and keep guests of all ages engaged. We had an absolute blast dancing the night away and are still receiving tons of compliments about the music at our wedding!

KILLER Dance Floor and MC

So the music for our wedding was CRUCIAL for me as it had to be PERFECT. I knew that dance floor had to be LIT. I randomly came across an Instagram video of Justin mixing songs and knew he was the guy to pull it off. It was the exact high energy and excitement we wanted.

Justin took so many calls and texts from us explaining each vision that we had from our first dance to special surprise dances and moments even custom mixing tracks for us. No matter the time or day or random thought I had he was totally reachable and ON BOARD.

After the wedding we had so many compliments from people about our dance floor and music. Truly it was a BLAST and we could not have done it without Justin. Not to mention great MC skills he totally knew exactly when and how to queue us. The dance floor was going off so much so that we didn't even change songs for the cake cutting and kept it going till we had to shut down El Paseo. BOOK JUSTIN

Great wedding DJ experience!

We had Justin from DJ JAS Productions DJ our wedding on April 13th and we were not disappointed! We interviewed Justin about 6 months before and we clicked immediately. He listened to what we wanted and took the time to make sure this was one less thing we had to worry about. In the weeks leading up to the wedding we spoke multiple times on zoom calls and went over the timeline and music selection we wanted.
We requested a lot of Spanish music and also a bunch of electronic/trance music. The dancing started and did not let up until the last song! All our guests had an amazing time. We were super happy with DJ JAS. Thanks Justin for an amazing wedding!

We recently had the absolute pleasure of enlisting the services of DJ Jas Productions, and let me tell you, they did not let us down. Justin was instrumental in helping us put together the schedule for our reception & guided us through each step of the planning process.

In the end we could not have asked for more from any of our wedding vendors & our reception was just the best. Justin made sure the music flowed throughout the event based on the music we chose for each part of the reception. All our intros & speeches were on point.

Couldn’t be happier

Justin DJ’ed and Emceed our wedding and a pre-wedding lunch this July. He’s a pleasure to work with. His DJ skills, song selection, and ability to read the energy in the room was truly memorable. My husband was right- perfect choice

Let me start by saying- my husband and I took a “divide and conquer” approach with the wedding planning. The DJ was one of our, more personal, vendor hires and we agreed my husband (can you tell we just got married) was the best person to research and hire the right person for the job.
When he presented DJ Jas, I HAD MY DOUBTS! We were attempting to squeeze quite a bit of culture into a few hours of this gathering. Having one of the cultures be a different language, is where my apprehensions were born. THEN- he did what, believe it or not, not all vendors took the time to do… HE ASKED QUESTIONS. Great questions, at that. He was incredibly professional throughout the night! He stuck to the plan when possible and executed perfectly!
Needless to say, I’ve spent my first week as a wife, admitting my husband knew what he was doing. DJ JAS WAS A GREAT CHOICE!

Beyond amazing

WOW! Justin went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly how we imagined it. When we hired Justin, we knew we were hiring an amazing DJ but we did not know how accommodating Justin would be throughout the planning process. Justin made sure to review important timelines and make important suggestions that we never thought of. Not only did he help our wedding timeline go smoother, his DJ expertise was one we were so happy with. Here we are almost a week after our wedding and we have gotten so many guests commenting to us about how great our DJ was. Justin had people dancing the whole night. Best wedding ever!

I could write a 5000 word review detailing how perfect and smooth it was working with Justin and Karen for our DJ and coordination needs. But it would still not get across the perfection and joy they brought to our wedding day.

Our wedding from start to finish went without a SINGLE hitch, our dance floor was on FIRE the entire time, and their detailed planning before and coordination during let us be 100% present to enjoy our day.

Our guests have told us the same sentiments! Hire Justin and Karen - you won’t have any regrets!!

Amazing, professional, above and beyond

Justin was amazing to work with. He was the first vendor I hired and give me lots of recommendations for my other vendors I ultimately ended up hiring. Justin is extremely professional and takes his job seriously. He's also extremely well-spoken which is important for the MC aspect. I had very specific "vibes" I wanted for the different parts of my wedding and he knocked it out of the park. Everyone described my cocktail hour as "magical" and that was largely in part due to Justin playing the kind of music I had requested while also having a violinist play to his songs. It was awesome! Everything you are looking for in a DJ

When we met Justin, we thought "Finally! A wedding vendor who makes us feel secure!" He was calm, professional and responsive the whole way - listening to our wedding woes and reassuring all of our worries. Every time we spoke with him, we walked away knowing that we could place 100% of our trust in him. And we were right. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.

It's 3 months later and our guests are still talking about how they've never seen a dance floor go non-stop for 3 hours. Justin arranged a couple of meetings to understand what kind of atmosphere we were looking for the ceremony, the dinner, and of course for the dance floor. The website he provided to select songs was very easy to use. His design suggestions (e.g., up-lighting) were perfect. He enthusiastically accommodated a last minute decision to have the bridge serenaded to You've Lost That Loving Feeling on the dance floor... thank you, Justin for making our special day so perfect!

Justin was an absolute pleasure to work with, and one of THE BEST decisions we made for our Oct 15 wedding!! He had our dance floor PACKED the entire night. In the days after the wedding, so many people told us how much they loved the music. He was able to appeal to every generation without playing a single cheesy wedding song - seamlessly mixing early 2000s, EDM, funk, groovy 60's and 70's, etc.

Justin not only managed the energy of the night, but also perfectly mic'ed up our ceremony and nailed the tricky timing for our intros perfectly. (We to be introduced at a very specific moment in a song, and he had to loop the section before live to make it match perfectly.) Don't underestimate how important it is for a ceremony to be mic'ed up well! Everyone's been to a wedding where they can't hear what's going on, static gets in the way of the vows, etc.

I definitely recommend extra colored stand lights for dancing, they were awesome and really set the mood!

Would hire again if I ever remarried!

Words cannot even describe how wonderful DJ JAS is! My cousin used him for his wedding back in 2017 and all I remember was how no one left the dance floor! From the very beginning, he was respectful and understanding of how I wanted my day to go. He gave his input where I needed it, and I really appreciated his honest opinion. From emails, texts, phone calls, to finally meeting in person, Justin made us feel so comfortable, like he was a lifelong friend. I knew my music and MC'ing were in great hands. We even had my little sister do a surprise entrance and he executed it perfectly! The entire night everyone kept talking about how great the music was and the variety he mixed together. I am white and my husband is hispanic, and Justin could not have been better at blending the music we wanted. Even my photographer was on the dance floor, and told us that out of all the weddings he has shot this year, only one other one had a live dj and it truly makes a difference. Also, we used Justin's uplighting he offered and it just added the right amount of elegance to our wedding. I promise you will not regret hiring DJ JAS for your event, he is well worth it.

Exceptional

We hired Justin not long after we got engaged in 2020 for DJing and MC services for our wedding in September 2022 at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. This was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. Justin from the start gave us all of the information we needed to start planning our DJing and MC services. He was so easy to talk to, he took our concerns and questions seriously, his online system to pick and choose songs was easy to use and he was so responsive over the past two years. Closer to the big day we had multiple phone calls with Justin to button up the details which included sending us song suggestions for certain parts of our wedding, discussing the timeline, and set-up up our wedding to make sure it was perfect. One big attestation of how phenomenal Justin really is was just two weeks before the bid day we had our after-party location change on us and we had no speakers and had not planned on having his service for the after-party. We expressed this to Justin and he called us within an hour offering his speakers and mixes to send us so we could play them! He saved us! On the day of the wedding, his services and expertise shined even brighter. Not having ever met Justin in person we felt like we knew him for years, he was so kind, and professional, and made a great impression on all of our guests, and his mixes are off the charts! We had our whole wedding on the dance floor the WHOLE night! We had a DJ as a guest at our wedding and he made a point to express how impressed he was with Justin. Justin also was clear when he was performing MC duties, you could tell he prepped for some of the names on our list and read them perfectly and in order. Justin is also a certified partner for BOSE, the sound was amazing and his mics are hidden. He truly has the highest quality equipment. If you are looking for an experienced, professional, and organized DJ/MC look no further! I would be more than happy to recommend Justin to our friends/family and anyone in need.

As a very big bonus, Justin also offers wedding coordination services. Meet Karen Dicks, the very best there is. We hired Karen after talking with Justin and were so very glad we did. Karen does way more than just coordinating. She offers her professional advice on vendors, and set-up creates a detailed timeline, looks through contracts, and is supportive. Her passion shows through her work. Karen was always available to talk whether it was by email, call, or facetime I always felt like she put our wedding first even when I am sure she had many other weddings going on. Meeting her for the first time at our wedding was like catching up with an old friend, and that was the very best feeling besides having your coordinator and DJ on the exact same page. Karen is very organized and did not miss a beat throughout our whole day. On my wedding day, I didn't have to do a single thing other than show up, and Karen checked on us all night to make sure we were having the best night ever. Karen went above and beyond what we expected and could not have been happier. I would recommend Karen to anyone who wants to feel taken care of, wants to work with someone extremely professional, and wants their dream wedding to come to life!

The best team!!

We loved working with team JAS (Karen and Justin)! Not only because their teamwork was beyond helpful, but because Karen's attention to detail and advocacy for us was unmatched. We had Karen as our coordinator and Justin as our DJ. Karen picked up on things when reviewing contracts that we easily overlooked and aided in vendor communication. We felt that she gave us genuine guidance in determining rental quantities and offered suggestions on ways we could save. Karen also communicated with all of our vendors and gave recommendations on our timeline to ensure we had the day that we wanted. Even as the big day got closer and we decided to change things around, Karen remained flexible, easy to work with, always went along with what we wanted, and adjusted our timeline accordingly. Team JAS worked together to answer all of our questions. Justin had worked at our venue more than Karen, and their experience and collaboration together made planning a breeze. When there was an unknown question or idea, Karen and Justin worked together to ensure we received a well-rounded answer. This teamwork especially showed through when we had questions about the restrooms at our venue. Not only did Justin call us that same day, but that weekend Karen went to our venue and took a video of the restrooms to ensure we were comfortable with any decision we made. Karen's experience with photography and sharp eye for detail was perfect when staging rentals and signs. She also seamlessly blended our decor with fixed features at the venue to ensure the entire place was picturesque. At the end of the night, Karen packed everything up and delivered all of our most important things back to our hotel room so we had nothing to worry about as we enjoyed our big day. Both Karen and Justin were great problem solvers. When part of our cake started melting due to the heat, Karen applied our cake topper to make it look intentional. We want to thank you so much for all of your help coordinating our wedding! Everything was perfect thanks to your hard work and we cannot express how appreciative we are for everything you guys did for us! You have a hard job and you both do it very well! We would without a doubt recommend them to family, friends and anyone else looking to have their perfect wedding.

We hired DJ Jas for our wedding and it was such a great decision for so many reasons! Not only was the music fantastic throughout the entire wedding, his communication and professionalism was beyond exceptional throughout the entire process.
As a couple, we understand how much music influences the atmosphere at an event. To us, music is a crucial part of a great wedding! And wow was our wedding and the dance floor great!
It is clear Justin loves what he does and working with someone that has true passion for what they do makes working with them easy and fun. He was organized and kept on top of us to make sure we were hitting deadlines and staying on top of our music selections. Planning a wedding can be a tedious and stressful process, but DJ Jas’ professionalism and great communication made the music side of this process go very smooth and stress free.

JAS Productions Always Delivers

My wife and I actually met at a wedding that was DJ’d by Justin at JAS Productions in 2017. We both love dancing and Justins mixes were amazing. The music was so good that we danced all night. It was the best start to our relationship. So of course, when we were planning our own wedding we decided to hire JAS Productions to be our DJ as well. Our wedding took place July 2022 and it was lit. People jumped on the dance floor as soon as they could and they danced the entire night. We are still getting compliments about how much fun it was. Justin delivered better than we even imagined. He is an exceptional DJ. He is an artist that loves what he does and it is comes through in his work. He took our input and our playlists seriously while incorporating his own expertise and artistry. He is flat-out talented. He is also impressively professional and knows his business. Best Event Dj in SoCal

Without proper guidance, choosing your wedding DJ is a big leap of faith. You ultimately aren't just choosing a DJ for music. You're also choosing the master of ceremonies: the person to run the show & make sure everything you have planned & paid for runs smoothly. You want someone who will play your music & work a crowd... but also someone who is "wedding savvy." They must understand the tight TIGHT schedule of a wedding... & know all the punches for the important details, traditions & honors- someone who literally knows weddings inside & out. Justin is that person! Luckily- I am not a professional bride & Justin's expertise was essential. My wedding had a lot of moving parts (even more than your average wedding). Justin gave my vision a lot of time; making sure to understand it to a T. On the other hand, he guided me through the wedding per announcement and song, personalizing all of it so we would be happy with how things would flow. His form makes it easy to get organized but also familiarizes YOU with the layout of a wedding too which I found super helpful. We are so grateful to have found a DJ who is the full package.

If you hire Justin, consider yourself one less daunting task of wedding planning away from the big day!

(BTW- We had a "fashion show" style aisle/catwalk. As someone who has produced dozens of fashion shows, I can vouch for his abilities as a runway DJ too).

Best vendor at our wedding

If you are looking for a Dj, save yourself the time and book with JAS productions. I recently got married this past May 2022 and hands down he made our day! I remember waking up the morning after our wedding and my husband and I both said to each other...he was the BEST! He nailed it and delivered everything we asked for and more. I was a little nervous about explaining our vision for music and he made the process so easy and stress free. He has an amazing website where we were able to pick our "must have" songs and it was easy to navigate. Very organized and clear. When we met on Skype he was so professional and made us feel like we had already known each other for years. We had changed some things a week prior to the wedding and he adjusted without hesitation. Music is a huge part of the big day and he delivered and then some. I really can not recommend him enough and I know anyone who books him will be so thankful they did! Awesome Work from JAS Productions

On April 30th of 2022 we celebrated our wonderful wedding day in Solvang, CA. A perfect day at Brave and Maiden Winery with sparkling 75 degree sunny weather. However with all wonders of the day, JAS Productions added the cherry on top. Justin completed the perfectness of our Wedding Day. Every aspect of the music and lighting was flawless. I was nervous planning everything for the wedding myself and dealing with all the vendors wasn’t easy. However, from the beginning Justin made it so simple and easy. He was the only vendor that I had zero concern during the planning. He even met me at the venue to walk through the entire plan and we discussed every detail at length. Communicative, Organized, and Fantastic Equipment!

During the process of wedding planning, Justin was very communicative and organized. We really appreciated his willingness to hop on a call to answer any questions we had. Hire Him if you Want a Full Dance Floor

Justin is a master of his trade and so intuitive, professional, and experienced. He was worth every penny I had left after this pocket-emptying wedding. His flat rate for his DJing proves among all other DJ Services that he's skilled and confident in what he does that he would never give anything less than his best. No only bringing "gold package" performance when you hope for but opt out of paying for a "platinum" service with other services. He promises to bring his best every time and that's such a great business model.

I had never seen it across many other places I looked but listening to his mixtapes and talking with him, it was clear he knew exactly how to keep the dance floor full and happy.

My take was that, he is an audiophile (sound nerd and lover) by nature, passionate and intentional with what he gives and performs and is an excellent crowd reader. His speakers were so sleek and the bass was deep and beautiful.

I gave a huge list of a wide range of music and from that and his own, chose exactly what the crowd wanted. You have to be ok with not hearing every song you recommend because it doesn't matter if you want Doja Cat beats....if 90% of the floor is over the age of 45 they might leave your dance floor waiting for The Bee Gees to play. I let him do what he does and was impressed.

He's just smart and is the full package. He blends in and doesn't take the spotlight. The funny thing is that I initially wanted an entertainer MC/DJ. I realized quickly that if you got someone who knows how to lead the night with needed announcements (dinner, first dance, group photo, intros, grand exits etc), reads a crowd, and transitions music/ song-layer mixes like they were born to do it, your party doesn't need a cheesy MC.

He was patient, organized, had great suggestions to our agenda timeline and was super flexible with my last minute submission of my homemade 1st dance medley. So many of our guests complimented him during and after our wedding. Even months later they've remembered how impressive his skills were, which makes me proud that we chose him.

I would for sure hire him again so you need to hire this man! He was the real deal.

Second best decision on my wedding day was hiring Justin

Justin was so good it’s hard for me to pick a place to start, let’s go with the fact that he kept us on his calendar for over a year, checked in with us consistently and his whole process made a normally stressful time very smooth and chill. Justin went out of his way to make our wedding an event to remember, he purchased a new projector to show our wedding video, this on top of his already amazing setup with quality sound and lights. Honestly his extra effort made the event outstanding. All of this and I haven’t even talked about how great of a DJ he is, there was never a lull In the music, never a dull moment throughout in fact, the mix was outstanding and it never felt too forced, in fact he took all of our favorite songs and made them all flow as if they belonged together. Awesome experienced DJ, beautiful uplighting, professional

Justin DJ'd for our wedding in Malibu and we couldn't have been more thrilled with his work!!! Justin was very responsive and professional throughout the entire planning process. He made great recommendations regarding the timing of grand entrances/opening up the dance floor/cake cutting/general flow to the evening. Many of our guests raved about how the cocktail hour music was perfect - loud enough to hear but able to hold a conversation without shouting. And our guests had such a great time dancing the night away! We had a mixed crowd of older and younger adults and Justin tailored the music choices to fit the mood for everybody to enjoy! Guests were on the dance floor until the last song of the evening! We also had Justin provide uplighting for our semi-indoor reception which turned out beautifully. Justin is an amazing DJ and we HIGHLY recommend using JAS Productions for your wedding, or really any event for that matter! He is extremely knowledgeable of the wedding planning process and “day of” coordination and was prompt to answer any questions we had. He did his best to accommodate any special requests and we were very pleased with his services. And maybe most importantly for all on the budgeting concerns out there, his prices were very reasonable, even more so when you take into consideration he handled the MC duties and kept the whole night on schedule. Nailed it!

Justin was awesome to work with. Both my wife and I felt like he truly understood the style of music we were going for in each part of our wedding. A few simple web forms followed by a zoom/telephone call made it clear he was on top of his game. During the event we were sad to separate from the party and music for photos because it was totally our favorite! Passionate and Professional

Justin was incredible. I must admit - my husband and I are very picky when it comes to our musical taste. Also, we had a very eclectic wedding crowd - so we had to walk a delicate line of choosing music we loved and music that would keep our guests on the dance floor. We gave Justin a diverse library of music to choose from and he executed it perfectly. Justin tracked the momentum of the crowd and played all the right music at all the right times - resulting in an all-night dance party. We had to ask him multiple times to stay later because our guests did not want to leave. Would highly recommend!

Truly amazing 😃

I don't even know where to begin.... so when you are picking wedding vendors you want to always make sure you are picking someone who does their job and gives 100 percent of their time and energy into your wedding. Well, Justin gave Frank and I 250 percent of his time and energy. Not only was this wedding done while having regular wedding stress but it was done across the country (I am from NY) Justin Was our Dj for our welcome party since we flew 50 guest out, not only did he provide music, but he provided us a open air photo-booth for our guest to be entertained. It was a wonderful option since I didn’t want a “regular bulky photo booth” On the following Saturday which was our wedding day, Justin did the music and lighting for our wedding. He did an amazing job. He created our "logo" that was on our invitation in light on the dance floor. I was amazed when I seen everything come together. Just done to perfection!
All the times leading up to our party he spoke with us on FaceTime and always answered our calls when we had questions and needed to talk (on a side note, since we are from NYC, I have many vendors that I flew out to be at the wedding. Justin was hand picked by his professionalism and willingness to be there for us a year ago on a previous trip). Justin went above and beyond and has so many more services than just DJ. He put time and effort into everything he does and is the absolute best. When I go back to the east coast, we are flying Justin out for our future parties. He gives his undivided attention to you and he was there for us when we needed. He was much more than what we could have ever asked for in a DJ. This is something we will never forget and are truly grateful for. He made us feel at ease throughout the entire process, this is exactly what you need in a vendor. Being a bride is stressful enough but when you are planning a wedding across the country , you need people who are willing to step up and help you. We would have not been able to pull this wedding off if it wasn't for Justin. Thank you Justin. You are the best.

Helped Make Our Wedding Perfect

We loved the music and you really helped the evening and program flow so smoothly. It was great to be able to just sit back and enjoy the reception without needing to worry about our timeline. We also appreciated all of your help and guidance during the planning process.
Working with Justin was so stress-free and easy. We trusted his expert opinion and left much of the nitty gritty decisions up to him. It was so wonderful to be able to just sit back and enjoy the reception without needing to worry about our timeline or other decisions. Justin coordinated and worked well with our other vendors to ensure that we were on schedule and that our program flowed and ran smoothly during the lead-up and day of the wedding. We really appreciated his help and guidance during the planning process. In addition, his equipment and set up worked like a dream and was nicely unobtrusive in the background, which we appreciated in our photos. We also added his up-lighting services, which really made our venue (Glen Annie Golf Club) look extra special and beautiful.

Kept our friends dancing all night!

We had the best wedding with DJ JAS at Circle Bar B Ranch. He's been a DJ at this venue many times, so it made it extremely easy to work with him. He knows how to set everything up, so the sounds runs smoothly - from the mics at the ceremony, to speeches at dinner, to the dancing. Our friends loooved the dancing! He's music kept everyone on the dance floor! He did an amazing job and I'd highly recommend him!

Perfect DJ

Justin was great! He communicated with us several times between booking until the wedding. I appreciate how well he worked with my coordinator, officiant and other vendors. He was an amazing DJ and honored our requests while also mixing songs. We left cocktail and dinner music up to him and I was amazed at his choices! I highly recommend him. Our guests did not stop dancing until the music did! His website is super friendly and easy to use too.

Professional, Fun to work with, Awesome DJ

I am so happy we chose Justin to DJ our wedding. He was very professional, easy to work with, and maintained excellent communication with us every step of the way. He has awesome planning tools set up which made it really easy to plan out specific song choices and the event timeline. He was a great source of info if we had any questions or needed advice. Most importantly, he kept our wedding night running smoothly and he had everyone dancing the entire time! His uplighting service also added a really special ambiance to our venue. I would definitely hire him again for a future event.

Superb service from beginning to end!

DJ JAS is a must!!

While looking for DJs for my wedding, my mom found DJ JAS's page and recommend me to him, and I am so glad she did! Justin was very professional, kind, and knew how to keep the night alive! All of the transitions were so clean and there were no dull/awkward moments or silences. He is very experienced and you can tell he knows what he's doing. He was on top of things and made sure the whole night ran smoothly. Everyone kept complimenting on how good the playlist was and non of us could stop dancing! The best out there!

Justin helped us with our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and we cannot say enough about the amazing job he did. He went above and beyond what his normal duties would be to ensure everything was exactly the way we wanted and our day was perfect. His attention to detail and professionalism was excellent. DJ JAS was absolutely incredible to work with. He was so extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the planning process, and made excellent suggestions whenever we needed advice. We did not hire a planner or day of coordinator, and JAS worked closely with the caterer and venue to make every part of our day seamless - we couldn’t have done it without his help! Great Experience

We just hired Justin Stern as our DJ for our Santa Barbara wedding about a month ago. He was fantastic! His site was very helpful for organizing the music we wanted to hear, and he was very accommodating with our requests.
We got a lot of compliments from our friends and family on the music for the entire night, so he really helped make our wedding great.

Worth every dollar!

Justin is awesome! We loved the online planning tools! We were able to play exactly the songs and music style we wanted for the cocktail hour, ceremony, reception and dancing. Justin DJed my wedding this May and I still think about how excellent he was. I spoke with so many DJ's and Justin stood out from our very first conversation. He was the only DJ I spoke with who actually had something to say about about music and how he puts sets together. His obvious expertise and skill made me want to work with him, and I am so glad that I did.

The sound for our wedding was more elaborate/involved than usual. We did everything outside on our property, and so we didn't really have any sound "infrastructure" to work with. Justin went out to see the venue well beforehand so he could properly plan exactly what we needed. We wound up needing three different sound areas - one for the ceremony, one for the reception, and one for the dance floor. Justin set everything up effortlessly and the sound in each location was excellent.

Justin communicated with me continuously throughout the process. On one phone call, I guess I sounded a bit harried and so he asked me what he could do to help ease my stress. Justin's focus while planning was always on making sure that he understood my vision exactly and did what I wanted. I didn't want to do a lot of typical wedding things (no tosses, we didn't have a wedding party to introduce, etc.) and Justin just rolled with all of my requests and ideas. He would offer advice when I asked (or when I clearly needed it) and all of his suggestions were helpful. On the day of, Justin also helped keep things moving along and on track.

In terms of the actual music, it was so good!! My friends were shocked at how perfect the music was during the reception. When we moved into the dancing portion of the night, it got even better and everyone had the best time.

Justin also provided up-lighting which made our venue look like a beautiful fairyland! Hiring Justin was one of the best decisions I made for the wedding and I can't imagine what our night would have been like without him. I can't recommend him enough!

Justin was the DJ for my wedding in San Diego. Both my husband and I were in graduate school at the time with very busy schedules. He was very understanding of our limited time to discuss the wedding and he was extremely flexible regarding setting up times to discuss our vision. He also provided excellent advice regarding the best order of events to ensure a good flow on the wedding day and we are so grateful we made the modification that he suggested. We appreciated his timeliness and professionalism coordinating with the wedding coordinator and venue.
Justin placed wireless speakers on opposite sides of the lawn, providing exceptional sound coverage to cover our large outdoor area. Our reception was outside on a large lawn, so it was a lot of space to over. Additionally, he had the music playing inside the venue adjacent to the lawn. During the cocktail hour, Justin blended together the music together beautifully and he played the music at an appropriate level.
Justin arranged the professional speakers around the 22 tables to ensure that the speeches could be heard well. On the day of the wedding, we had to make changes regarding the order of the speeches and Justin handled it professionally.
He read the crowd extremely well choosing appropriate songs according to the mood of the crowd. My wedding had a huge age range and he made sure to arrange the songs in a way that made everyone at the event comfortable and in a dancing mood. He kept people on the dance floor the entire time! Many people talked to me after and during the wedding about Justin’s exceptional DJ skills. Justin made sure to blend the songs together which made it so that people did not experience an abrupt end to a song.
Justin suggested up-lighting which helped highlight the beauty of the venue both outside and inside the castle. Additionally, the up-lighting provided a great ambiance during dancing. I cannot recommend Justin enough. He made our wedding so fun!

Justin 'DJ JAS' did a fabulous job at our wedding at my Uncle's estate in Montecito on July 20, 2018. He was great to work with- providing sound for our ceremony, reception and the after-party. He had appropriate mics for the different parts of our wedding, i.e. wireless for the ceremony and hand-held for the speeches, as well as software on his website that made it very easy to coordinate what music we wanted and when. Justin was amazing! He kept people on the dance floor the entire time, and our guests complimented the music throughout the whole night. We also really appreciated that Justin periodically checked in with us about timing and let us know what was coming next. We appreciated his attention to detail and aesthetics, from his nearly invisible speakers to his fantastic uplighting (which looked amazing in the photos!). Justin was the best DJ ever! All of our guests came up to us during the reception and the next day to tell us how awesome he was. The dance floor was exactly what we wanted - high energy, no pauses between songs, and a perfect playlist! He ran the evening perfectly with speeches, introductions, background music, etc. We've been to a lot of awkward weddings so it was important to us to have a great DJ who made everyone feel comfortable, excited, and helped the night flow. He was extremely easy to work with throughout the wedding planning process - responsive, always on time, and made sure all of our requests were noted. Without Justin, our wedding truly wouldn't have been as memorable for us or for us guests. We really cannot recommend him enough!

Planning a wedding out of state was no easy feat but I'm thrilled that we chose Justin for our Santa Barbara wedding last month. I was already overwhelmed with all the different choices for our vendors and through all the sea of responses filled with estimates and details, Justin stood out. He was prompt, friendly, and quick to set up a call to get to really know us and make sure he was a right fit for our needs. He is knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and communication was amazing throughout the whole process with even almost immediate responses. He made the effort to meet up with us at our reception venue when we were in town to official meet us, walk over the venue setup, and provided suggestion for lighting, which we ended up going with. it really gave our venue a great ambiance.

Everything was seamlessly perfect the day of the wedding. Audio for our ceremony was great - everyone was able to hear everything clearly (it was outdoors for 120 guests) - we had live acoustic music, track for my procession, and only the pastor was miked but it picked up my husband and I clearly as well. We provided a playlist for during reception dinner but gave Justin a few examples for the cocktail and dance hour and he nailed it. I had compliments during the night and after the wedding about how good the music was. All songs were fun, well-mixed so they flowed into one another, and it was overall a great vibe. All my guests had so much fun- the floor was packed and they danced all the way until the last song.

We can't thank Justin enough for everything. He was a pleasure to work with and was one of the vendors I completely trusted that he would handle everything and be on top of it. He made the wedding planning a little less stressful.

We’re so glad we hired Justin for our big day. He made everything so easy and he is so organized, it helped a ton. He had great input and suggestions on our timeline, he was very thorough and you need that for your big day. Communication was great with Justin from the beginning to the very end. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music and did a fantastic job at feeling out the crowd and what they wanted. We were pretty specific about what we wanted and what we didn’t want and he delivered. He also did our uplighting and we sort of left it up to him to pick a color that would work well with the space and it looked great. I would totally hire him again for anything in the future!

We enjoyed working DJ JAS Productions! Justin made the process easy and fun. The two things every bride and groom needs when it comes to the wedding planning process. Justin DJed our April wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore and was an absolute rockstar. We planned our wedding from New York, and neither my husband nor I are from the Santa Barbara area, so we made all of our decisions based on online reviews and phone calls. I hope this will be helpful for any of you out there who are starting the search for a DJ. We absolutely loved working with Justin and would strongly recommend him to anyone. Here's why:

- Skill: Justin is talented and he takes his work seriously. He thinks carefully about song sequencing and bridges one song to the next so the transitions are seamless (in other words, no awkward pauses in between songs - the dancing keeps going). When it came to the speeches during the reception, he was in the background managing volume level so that the volume across our four friends and siblings was consistent. It may seem like a small thing, but it makes a difference.

- Style: Our DJ's style / personality was a criteria that was incredibly important to us. We'd been to other weddings where the DJ became the life of the party. Nothing wrong with that, but we knew that wouldn't work for us or our guests. Justin struck the right balance for us. He was upbeat, friendly, and very clear about when things were going to happen or what our guests needed to do (e.g., head into the other room for cake cutting). When it came to the dancing, he focused on playing good music and reading the crowd. No cheesiness - just great work.

- Professionalism and organization: We had a fantastic set of wedding vendors, but Justin was hands-down the most organized of all of them. He was incredibly prompt with his responses and was always several steps ahead of us when it came to planning. He was also very focused on getting things right.

Weddings are stressful to plan in general, but Justin made the whole DJ/music and uplighting portion of our planning process totally stress-free.

We live in Minnesota and had a destination wedding in Santa Barbara, CA at the Fess Parker Hotel. Being from out of state, we thought it would be hard to find a wedding coordinator and DJ. After doing some research we found Justin Stern for our DJ and Karen Dicks for our wedding coordinator from JAS Productions. I must be honest – we didn’t know how it would work with us being so far and working with people so far away. From our first skype meeting with Karen, we were blown away. We had a few other Skype/calls with other coordinators but Karen was amazing. She is very passionate about what she does and she made sure that every detail for our wedding was down to a T. We honestly knew we were going to have a wedding and that was about it for the first call…no idea where to star. We had several Skype calls and she made me feel a lot more comfortable on how the wedding day was going to be. I originally didn’t know how much goes into a wedding or what I wanted décor, etc.…she helped me narrow it down and gave me her opinion on things I was undecided about or I didn’t have experience doing. We worked on the wedding day timeline regarding when the photographer was going to be there, the hairstylist, and the order of events for that day. She made sure every detail was just what we wanted our wedding day. Justin Stern our DJ was great as well. He made sure we had the perfect songs for our ceremony and if we wanted any songs specifically to play at our reception. He also provided the up-lighting at the Fess Parker. I choose the colors I wanted and he matched them perfectly. The song choices were awesome…the dance floor was never even remotely empty and several people came up to us afterwards and told us how great of a job he did. JAS Productions was the best choice we made for our wedding!

Justin did our DJ, audio services, and lighting services for our wedding. He was excellent to work with. He was organized before the event and during the event. He helped us plan things related to his work: our space acoustics, our wedding playlist, the timing of our entrances/exits/ceremonies, and everything else. In the months and weeks before the wedding, he helped us stay on track with asking us all of our preferences, and when we didn't know what to do, he gave us helpful suggestions. We needed some help staying on track, and he set up phone appointments to discuss things and make sure we didn't fall behind. His website is user-friendly, and it allowed us to give him our preferences effectively, because the music he played at the wedding was exactly what we wanted.

Justin successfully walked the line between being high-energy and welcoming, while not being cheesy or tacky. He was effective at bringing attention to where it needed to be to help us proceed to the next event, but he was never a distraction. We've been to some weddings where the DJs clearly enjoy speaking to everyone a little too much; Justin wasn't like that.

We thought that Justin was by far the best DJ of a wedding we've been to. We got multiple questions afterward asking us for referrals of our DJ, because he successfully got our friends (20s-30s) and our parents' friends (50s-70s) on the dance floor. He even got my grandma to dance.

The lighting that Justin provided was excellent. It was attractive and, because it was battery-powered, prevented our needing to rent a generator.

Justin was recommended to us by our wedding photographer, and we are so happy with the services he provided us. We got married mid November in Goleta. In the months leading up to the wedding, I was so impressed with his organization and communication. Emails, phone calls, Face Time, and his online system for choosing songs and scheduling the day made planning so easy. He is knowledgeable and experienced, and I would have been quite lost without his planning help.

On the day of, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He arrived, and set up systems at the ceremony sight, cocktail, and dancing areas. The sound was great, the uplighting was a nice touch, and everyone commented on the great songs. People were up and dancing all night long.

Justin was so friendly and helpful throughout the night. He was also extremely flexible when some last minute changes took place. I would highly recommend Justin’s services. He really made our wedding better than we could have expected.

Justin DJ'ed our August wedding at Elings Park and Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

The wedding my wife and I had in mind was a logistical challenge. A ceremony on a hilltop in a park without electricity; a live musical performance by the groom and groomsmen; an unusual number of speeches during dinner per the custom of the bride's Danish family; surprise dances that required song editing on the fly, etc. It wouldn't have been possible or financially feasible without an exceptional DJ and a fair pricing scheme.

Enter Justin. At every step, Justin was the key to our wedding's success. From our first call 7 months beforehand to the final call the week of the wedding, Justin was an excellent communicator and consummate professional. He kept track of the decisions we needed to make and was always armed with thoughtful and honest ideas and feedback. During the wedding, Justin was a great emcee: classy, intelligent, and understated. Justin's superb audio equipment, including a self-powered speakers for the remote ceremony site and sleek Bose speakers that doubled as PAs for the musical performance, helped make some of our more unorthodox ideas possible. Finally, Justin's flat-rate pricing allowed us to incorporate elements that other DJs would have charged an arm and a leg for, including the outdoor ceremony and amplifying the band.

But beyond all that, the most important thing he brought to the table was DJ skills. His mixing skills are on par with those on display at top clubs and kept our dance floor full the entire night. He knew the right songs to play at the right times, whether a little Motown early in the night to get the older folks on the floor or rock songs to segue into the live performance. We had a lot of friends travel long distances to our wedding; JAS's DJ set meant we were able to provide a great party that made everyone's travels worthwhile.

Justin was awesome to say the least! We just got married in Solvang and live out of state. We did a lot of looking around for a DJ and found Justin, and couldn't be happier that we did. He was easy to work with, would answer our emails quickly, was organized, very professional, and kept people dancing ALL night long. He came early to set up and make sure everything was good to go. The dance floor was busy from the time the dancing started all the way to the last song. I have never seen a dance floor constantly filled with people dancing at a wedding before. Hiring Justin to DJ our outdoor wedding earlier this month was probably the best decision we made throughout the planning process. From our very first FaceTime meeting, Justin’s organizational skills, professionalism, expertise and passion for his craft were clear. He instilled a certain confidence in us and was more than willing to accommodate any and all requests. I was a pretty hands-off bride, but Justin was great about emailing and calling periodically in the months prior to the event to make sure everything from the entertainment side was in order.

On the day of our wedding, Justin exceeded our already high expectations! The ceremony sound quality was flawless, the uplighting was beautiful, and most importantly Justin had our guests on the dance floor the entire night. Aside from a handful of must-play songs, we let Justin choose the music – his selections, timing and transitions were perfect. I am still getting complements on his work from our guests. So, I just got married in an area just outside of Lompoc, CA, just an hour north of Santa Barbara. Because my wife and I are from Reno, we were a little nervous about our ability to book good vendors from afar. This was particularly stressful decision when deciding on a DJ, as good music is the cornerstone to setting the atmosphere you want at any wedding. That being said, I could not be happier with the service Justin (aka DJ JAS) offered us. I won't bore you with several long paragraphs of why you should go with him, but I will give you a list of things he did exceptionally well for our wedding.

Pros:
-His mixing skills are the best I have heard, hands down.
-He really knows how to read a crowd to keep them dancing. Even some people that I have never known to dance did so at our wedding.
-After hearing the mixes he put together for our wedding, it is clear he keeps up to date on the latest music, even the lesser known bands.
-If you need him to be (we did), he is an excellent MC. No awkward announcements or missed cues.
-He triple checks all the music, order of events, etc. There wasn't a single event he missed, and everything was done exactly how we wanted it.
-He was able to predict where problems may occur in terms of timing of events, and as a result we were able to avoid them. This kind of expertise alone should make you hire him.
-Excellent people person. He knows how to get along with anyone (there were a few difficult personalities he had to contend with).
-He is extremely flexible, and will do just about anything humanly possible to make sure your wedding happens flawlessly.

Cons:
-After thinking really hard, I cannot come up with anything he could have done better.

If you're getting married an are looking for an unparalleled DJ in the Santa Barbara area, you should definitely go with DJ JAS. You won't ever regret it.

Working with JAS Productions for our wedding was the best decision I made after proposing to my wife.
Our celebration was not a typical wedding, and demanded an exceptional DJ and a company to work with in order to meet our expectations. Justin delivered beyond what we even imagined. Living far away from SoCal, we had many phone calls and hangout sessions with Justin. He was meticulous, organized and worked diligently with us leading up to the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, JAS team was the first one to arrive. For our ceremony on a windy beach, his mic-speaker system worked perfectly- the aisle song, the officiant voice, our wows were all crisp and clear. Indoors, he was on point every time for setting the mood of the reception, dinner and the dance floor with great music and beautiful uplights. Our international crowd partied on the dance floor for hours, everyone had fantastic time.
There were many little things that went wrong with the services we received from the caterer and the wedding venue. On JAS's side, everything was perfect, from the start 'til the end of the night. If everyone in wedding business were as professional as Justin, all weddings would be flawless. We highly recommend his services.

I cannot speak highly enough about the JAS Productions team, Karen and Justin. From the moment we hired them to work on our wedding, they were an invaluable asset.

Having very little knowledge of what a Day of Coordinator was going into this, I assumed we'd hire Karen and then the next time we'd hear from her would be a day or two before the wedding. That was 100% not the case. She was available for literally any question we had and would respond almost immediately. She put together our day of timeline and worked with us on maximizing the parts that were most important to us. She worked with all of our vendors, and was right there whenever we had any confusion or hesitation no matter how large or small the issue. She made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, when they were supposed to be. Most importantly to me, she made my wife and I feel comfortable enough on the day of that we didn't have to worry about a single thing. We were able to enjoy every moment of the wedding without stressing about missing what was next. She was a pleasure to work with and we'd highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a stress free wedding!

Justin, our awesome DJ, was really more than that. He took care of the sound during our ceremony so that even the people in the back could hear every word. He kept the energy up during cocktail hour while we slipped away to take pictures. And of course, when it was time to hit the dance floor, he kept it packed until the cars showed up hours later. The portal he uses for song selections really is a great tool, and it allowed us to send him the exact versions of the exact songs we wanted play. He never missed a beat at any point of the evening, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how much fun they had!

The best part about hiring them though, is that they work so well together. Our wedding was better than we could have imagined, and hiring these two months before the actual event was one of the best decisions we made!

Justin was amazing and managed to exceed our high expectations. Our guests have since told us that the music at our wedding was the best they have ever experienced and, of course, that is largely due to Justin. He mixed, mashed and scratched throughout the night and knew just when to change songs. The dance floor was packed the entire night. In the lead up to the wedding, Justin was very understanding of our difficult schedules and remained patient throughout the entire process. I can't wait to schedule Justin to spin at all our of parties moving forward....

DJ JAS was great - - highly professional and knowledgeable. He was very helpful in making sure the event went smoothly and that we allocated enough time and attention to planning the music and set up. We also used his uplighting, which worked perfectly at the venue, and ultimately helped us save money as we focused on good lighting and simple decorations instead of more ornate flowers. Justin was the DJ for our wedding this past Labor Day weekend, and he did a fantastic job. He is very professional and has lots of experience DJ'ing at weddings, so he was super easy to work with. We wanted someone that would give us some guidance on how things are supposed to work and flow at a wedding, and he ended up sitting in on our meeting with the wedding coordinator, which was very helpful because he provided lots of useful tips that helped us with planning the whole wedding. He was easy to talk to and always available to discuss things both over the phone and when we met him at the venue. He was flexible with filling in the blanks when we were too overwhelmed with planning to address every little detail, but he was also very accommodating with meeting all our preferences and requests. His online website was also easy to navigate, and it really simplified choosing our music and coordination. He also did a great job with the acoustics for the ceremony, and all our guests were able to hear the Rabbi clearly at our outdoor venue. Everyone at our wedding said they had a great time, and there were a lot of people dancing. Overall, we couldn't have had a better DJ for our wedding, and he charged a fair price for his services. Justin was great. We didn't give him much in the way of guidance, and yet he managed to tailor the music perfectly to the group. He kept so many people dancing we overflowed off the dance floor. He found songs that kept my 86 year old grandma bumping around the dance floor while still appealing to bridge/groom and friends. He also didn't do any of the cheesy MC-ing that made me hesitant about going with a DJ at first. All around great!

Justin (DJ) was probably our most essential vendor in terms of making sure the reception was exactly what we wanted, which was a huge dance party, and he delivered in spades. Leading up to our reception Justin was thorough in communicating with us about what our preferences were for the music during the reception. He allowed us to submit countless example songs through his immensely helpful online portal. Justin provides a detailed planning sheet allowing you to customize all the music for the special moments during your reception. Justin’s skill really rests on his ability to mix music seamlessly and listen to his clients to create the experience they want. We were particularly adamant that we wanted upbeat music with minimal interruptions or directions from the DJ and Justin went above and beyond to deliver just that. We could not be happier with Justin’s services and recommend him highly for any of your Santa Barbara area parties.

Despite being hired as a “day of” coordinator, I spoke to Karen more than any of our other vendors in the months leading up to our wedding. She was organized with our vendors and helped get everyone set up on an efficient timeline for the day of. Karen accounted for details I never would have thought to plan out, which ensured that our wedding day was stress free. It was such a relief to have someone on hand on our wedding day who knew exactly what we envisioned and was on site to make sure it was executed when we couldn’t be. This included Karen taking all of our extra handcrafted décor up to our reception site and placing it in the designated areas when we couldn’t be there. Karen made sure I didn’t have to answer a single question on my wedding day and that is the greatest gift anyone can give a bride. Karen was an absolute joy to work with and we truly had the perfect wedding day because of her. Karen is the master of professionalism, efficiency, organization, and thoughtfulness in the wedding world.

In one of California worst droughts in the history of the state the sky falls in a lightning and thunder show at the exact hour that our ceremony was to begin.
Karen was absolutely wonderful and really kept everything together when the weather didn't. We would not have made it through the day with out her help and guidance!! The only regret is we never got one photo with her!
Thank you Karen for doing THE MOST amazing job ever, both before, during and after the wedding!!! We love you and think you are just so exceptional. You made our ideas and thoughts come to fruition the day of the wedding. And we cannot thank you enough for all your time, patience, and perfect handling of the rain the day of the wedding.

Our one and only wish for our wedding day was that our guest have a great time. We really wanted the evening to be one big party and that is what Jas Productions provided. Justin’s mix of modern and classic dance tracks kept the party on the floor. The only time people stopped was to eat and drink, Justin kept the flow going and the party moving.
Even in the rain he maintained his composure and kept the music flowing even when the rain fell. If you are looking for a party and want someone who understands music, rhythm and flow then Jas Productions is who you’re looking for.

I'm so glad I chose JAS Productions – that good feeling I had following my first conversation with Justin really did bode well for how everything flawlessly came together for my wedding ceremony and reception. From the initial planning to the event set-up to the execution of the DJ/MC'ing, Justin's professionalism stands out most. I appreciated his accessibility (at all hours) and responsiveness (to me, my day-of coordinator, and vendors) plus the constructive, candid feedback he provided about the overall flow of the music and his perspective on the need for up-lighting and the appropriateness of certain songs I wanted him to play at key moments. He really demonstrated his knowledge of a wide range of music genres and experience doing various types of weddings (including an urban crowd). My guests enjoyed his set and had a great time. Justin was flexible and prepared to honor guest song requests that weren't on my suggested playlist. He also helped me create an incredible bride and groom introduction mix that was well-received.

Justin was awesome from the get-go. He took the time to explain everything to me on our initial phone call, and throughout the process was always accessible. We had a fabulous time at our wedding at Chase Palm Park and Justin did a great job of gauging our somewhat older crowd. My husband and I both commented on how all we had to do was give Justin a nod or signal and he knew exactly what to do. AND he does lighting! We booked Justin as our wedding DJ and we couldn’t have been happier with him. In the months before the wedding he was communicative to any questions we had. We used his website to set up our day of timeline (which we used as a master timeline for all of the vendors). His website planning tool was really nice because it let us make changes pretty much up to the day of the wedding without us having to worry about contacting Justin and worrying that something got lost in translation.

At the wedding Justin did an excellent job. The music during dinner and cocktail hour was perfect, and when it came to dancing he did a great job at reading the crowd and playing music that got people dancing. He was also extremely flexible on our timeline by reading into what was happening and not treating times as completely set in stone. Basically he made sure everything flowed perfectly and made us feel completely unpressured. It might not seem like much but it is hard to feel totally relaxed at the wedding, yet Justin let us do just that.
The highest praise I can give Justin is that he was a complete professional at his job. We had no doubt that he would deliver excellent DJ services, and we were not disappointed. Hire Justin and rest assured you will receive excellent service.

We were married last September at the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara and choosing JAS Productions as our DJ and Day-of Coordinator was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Justin and Karen were a dynamic duo and their invaluable recommendations and attention to detail were essential in our planning, especially from our home across the country in New York City.

From our first meeting, Justin and Karen were always helpful and available to answer questions even working with our 3-hour time difference to have FaceTime meetings to work through the many details.

As our DJ and MC, Justin made the process of choosing songs easy and streamlined through his website. On our wedding day, he kept the reception flowing with great song mixes and entertained our 100+ guests. When there was a miscommunication with our lighting, he came through and provided the perfect uplight scheme just days before the wedding.

As our coordinator, Karen brought so much insight and asked all of the important questions for us to consider in building our timeline. Her professionalism and organization kept the day on track and diffused all issues. When a live-music vendor didn't deliver their promised services and started to make a scene, she absolutely handled the situation and quickly came up with an alternative so seamlessly that we had no idea.

We were so thrilled with JAS Productions and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a DJ and Coordinator who truly care and deliver everything they promise.
