Jan was the DJ for our wedding and did a great job! He took into consideration our recommendations for music and did a great job filling in the gaps. We had people of all ages at our wedding and everyone had a great time on the dance floor!

DJ Jan was phenomenal. From his prep to his hands on help the day of, I couldn’t have asked for more. He did a great job MCing and listened to all of my requests. He showed up early and stayed until the very last minute.

Great experience with DJ Jan!

DJ Jan was so helpful with all of our questions during the planning stages. He helped us figure out the timeline of our reception events, and gave us advice along the way. He was so responsive to our emails and calls. He gave us a planning page that helped us tremendously with planning and timeline. We have him a very large list of songs we wanted to hear played, and he did not miss a beat. In addition to the reception DJ, he also provided music during our cocktail hour and dinner. We loved working with DJ Jan and are so glad he was part of our special day! We can’t recommend him enough!

Dj Jan is awesome!

Dj Jan really does his best to make your wedding day music experience exactly what you want! Everyone was on the floor all night dancing and having an amazing time! He carved time out of his schedule to have multiple meeting with my wife and I to make sure that everything was taken care of! He even took videos for us and is making a montage! He has a very organized planning doc that he uses for his weddings and it made planning super easy! Dj Jan is a super friendly, easy to work with, and overall an amazing guy! He checked in with me and my wife throughout the night to see if we needed anything. Dj Jan is really the best and words cannot express how thankful and grateful we are that he was our Dj!

Jan was great! Highly recomend!

DJ Jan is an incredible entertainer. He took the time to understand our musical tastes, our vision for the evening, and even helped us craft a timeline that flowed perfectly (extremely helpful in the planning process). He was always responsive and professional.

On the big day, there was a storm and once the storm was over my husband and I were pulled from dinner to go take photos. This took longer than expected and people started to get antsy. Jan was able to pivot and get everyone up to dance while they waited for us to return. I'm happy no one was board :)

The Best Pittsburgh DJ

DJ Jan is hands down one of the best DJ's in the Steel City.

Look, if you want someone to just play music from a Spotify playlist, look somewhere else and pay $500.

If you're looking for a DJ that *actually* mixes music and can keep the crowd going all night - that's DJ Jan.

I met DJ Jan while he was spinning up at Seven Springs. We've kept in touch over the years. I knew when we were getting married, I didn't want anyone else to keep the party pumping.

Wedding DJ Jan Jursa

Jan was the most amazing Dj for our wedding. Jan was so versatile working in 3 different spaces. Jan had a mobile set up for our outdoor ceremony, providing music and microphones. Then he shifted to DJ our cocktail hour and finally the ceremony inside. Jan came up early to set up all of these locations and make sure everything went smoothly. Jan was professional, checking in multiple times to make sure we were happy, and he played the music we wanted. We asked him to work his magic once the party started and he delivered!!! Jan had the everyone dancing and enjoying the night the entire time after dinner! My wife and I would highly recommend Jan to anyone looking for a DJ, I would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Awesome wedding DJ!

Jan was very accommodating and patient with us and all of the crazy, wild, and ever-changing plans for our wedding! He was able to meet all of our requests (extra lighting, smoke machines, Kyro-gun and much more!) and made our wedding a day that will be talked about by us and all of our guests for the rest of our lives! He kept the party and the dance floor going the entire time!!! Would HIGHLY recommend him to DJ for your wedding or any other event! He was awesome!

If you want your guests on the dance floor all night, hire DJ Jan! I have had so many compliments about him since the wedding. He made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure all our requests were heard. We also paid extra for his uplighting, which looked great and gave soft light to a dark space. I would highly recommend him!

Excellent all around

I cannot recommend Dj Jan enough.
He agreed to do our wedding on very short notice (less than 2 weeks).
He was very thorough in asking us questions to meet our needs and expectations.
In our case, our wedding was quite casual compared to the normal and I delegated to him to make several decisions. He exceeded any expectations we had and did not complain at all about the lack of direction.
The day of, he made suggestions in terms of transitions and timing that were excellent and so helpful.
His music choices catered to a crowd that varied from age 6 to 90. He was able to read the room and adjust accordingly.
Overall, we are very grateful for his service, creativity, and professionalism.

I can’t thank Jan enough for all he did for our wedding. He really facilitated a party vibe for our guests and was excellent to work with. He seamlessly executed our timeline, provided all announcements and utilized top notch equipment. His music choices allowed all guests to enjoy the evening and dance all night long. We used DJ Jan for our wedding and had a great experience!

I highly recommend DJ Jan. He was amazing to work with from start to finish. Any concerns pre-wedding we had were put at ease. On Our Wedding Day DJ Jan did an awesome job with any announcements throughout the day and he was able to read the room and play all the right music at the right time. DJ Jan was also able to adjust on the fly if we were a few minutes behind or ahead of our timeline schedule.

Ease of Working with DJ Jan

Jan was the perfect DJ for our wedding. The guests ranged in age so there was a concern about the best-suited music, and he nailed it - the ability to read the room caused a full dance floor until the end of the night.

Jan was so lovely to work with. He is super attention to detail and flexible with our timeline as things can go a bit unexpected on the wedding day. The flow was seamless, he played all the songs we wanted and we loved all his choices of music and kept everyone having a great time.

For a responsive, attentive DJ that knows how to keep everyone on the dance floor, look no further than DJ Jan!

DJ Jan was exceptional to work with! Leading up to the wedding, I was always able to get in touch with him and he was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had! I had messed up something on my end resulting in some wrong songs for the bridal party entrances. Again, this was totally my fault I didn’t send the updated song info!! But thankfully DJ Jan came to check with me before we were announced and made the necessary changes with no problem! With my wedding being on the smaller side (under 100 people), I was worried about the dance floor not being filled but DJ Jan’s mix of songs had everyone of all ages out there all night! I can’t recommend DJ Jan enough for such an incredible night! ❤️

Best DJ Ever!!

There isn't enough positive things that I can say about DJ Jan!! He was so professional, kind, and helpful. He is extremely organized and experienced. You won't have to worry about him "going rogue" and playing his own mix like some other DJs. He can read the room well, know what to play next, and most importantly, not play the music too loud which can kill a vibe! I received so many compliments from my guests about DJ Jan and handled my wild group perfectly. He even played an encore song when the dance floor was chanting "one more song!"

If you are looking for a professional, experienced, and fun DJ, don't look any further - hire him!!! Thank you so much, DJ Jan!!!

I randomly found DJ JanJursa and I’m so glad I did. He has years of experience and was able to do things with our wedding playlist that kept people on the dance floor all night. For various reasons I was so sad when the night ended (Weddings are PERFECT) but people were raving about our music for days. Hire him!

Phenomenal DJ experience.

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our Wedding. We consistently got compliments about the DJ and the music throughout the whole night. We spent 90% of the night dancing as a result. There was not a single song we asked to skip or felt wasn't in place.

I would recommend DJ Jan to anyone and everyone looking for a professional, kind and attention to detail. 10/10 Best wedding DJ I could have asked for.

Best DJ experience anyone could ask to have for a wedding.

Jan is a phenomenal DJ. We have had the pleasure of hearing him play at Seven Springs and knew he was the man for the job. I reached out to Jan and was replied to within the day. After reaching out to Jan he made the process of planning a reception so much easier! He sent us a list of stuff to look through and we decide what we wanted. He was super open to changes and made everything work incredibly well. Prior to the wedding he reached out again to make sure everything was still in place and arrived early on the day of the wedding. He had everything set up and played perfect music for all of the cocktail hour. He was incredibly clear on the microphone and gave great advice when I had questions for him. There was a full dance floor the entire wedding and I could not have asked for better music. If you are looking for a DJ there is no better than Jan especially in the southwest Pennsylvania.

Jan is simply amazing. He provided both ceremony and reception music for our Fall 2020 wedding. We had to pivot our original plans due to COVID and he was so flexible and reassuring. Jan gave such good advice in the preplanning stages and totally showed up on wedding day! He knows how to read the room and keep people on the dance floor. DJ Jan Jursa brought fun atmosphere to our backyard wedding

My husband and I got married in October of 2020, and due to restrictions put in place by the local government switched our venue to our backyard. DJ Jan Jursa was incredibly flexible and was able to accommodate this change without a problem. He really livened up the wedding with his music selection, as we received several compliments from our guests on how on point and awesome the music was. Our guests could not help but dance on our tiny little dance floor! He is a fantastic MC as well and kept everything moving at a great pace. Mr. Jursa was very communicative and even attended our rehearsal to ensure everything would work out fine the next day. I would highly recommend DJ Jan for any wedding, graduation, or event!

DJ Jan Jursa

DJ Jan Jursa was perfect all around!! He was communicative throughout our whole engagement and I didn’t have any worries going into the wedding day. During the actual wedding day he checked in with me several times to make sure everything was going as we’d planned, which was really considerate! And on top of all that, he kept the party going until we had to stop- he read the room perfectly and adjusted to what people wanted to hear. We all had so much fun thanks to him!!

Our guests did not stop dancing

Firstly, we had to reschedule our wedding because of COVID-19. Jan was flexible and understanding. He is professional and kind and accommodating.

Additionally, as the title says our guests did not stop dancing. I did not give Jan a lot of time to prepare for the songs we liked, or even needed. But he delivered (and beyond) on specific songs we requested as well as just a mix that kept EVERYONE....young & old...dancing all night.

Thank you Jan for making our wedding so special for not only us, but for our guests.

PS. How did you know dancing queen was one of my favorite songs?!

Jan was pleasant and easy to deal with. He made appropriate musical choices for the different parts of the reception. He was professionally dressed in style with the wedding. As a DJ he didn’t make himself the center of attention. He was easy to talk to and checked in with us to make sure everything was the way we wanted. He made sure to keep myself my husband and our guests safe by wearing a mask the whole time. We had a great experience. He provided exactly what we wanted for our wedding.

Amazing DJ!

Jan did an amazing job at our wedding! We thought it would be impossible to keep such a small group (about 30 people) up and moving, but Jan had everyone dancing through the entire reception! Highly recommend!

An absolute MUST have for a wedding!!!

Dj Jan was amazing, he got us every single song that we asked for and was so easy to work with. Dj Jan went above and beyond to make sure our day was one that we would talk about for years to come, the crowd never left the dance floor and his presence there as a professional Dj was one of the best in the business!! The experience was absolutley fantastic

I am the father of the bride and my experience was absolutely great the DJ communicated very good with us and was well organized, very well spoken at the event and open to song suggestions during the event and was really friendly with everyone and it honestly was one of the best wedding receptions I have attended with lost of high energy and good music and the dance floor was full right down to the very last song !!!

Great Experience!

Jan helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. He was so helpful in establishing a wonderful timeline for the reception complete with bridal dance, first dance, mother-son dance, father-daughter dance, and so much more. He ensured everything ran flawlessly and made sure to play all of our favorite songs while also eliminating the line dances we requested not be played! We are so grateful for the incredible care and attention Jan put into making sure our day ran smoothly and was everything we could ask for. Perfect DJ for the Perfect Wedding

Jan was more than we could have asked for! From the moment we had our first meeting, where we set our expectations for the wedding, Jan has been nothing but a treat to our wedding experience. He was very flexible, which is a quality that you can't ask more of as things tend to spontaneously happen in weddings. Jan is the best!

Jan was amazing!! He was easy to work with, very responsive to emails, and dealt with me changing my mind about things at the last minute. He rolled with the punches and is very easy-going. Throughout the evening he asked me if there was anything he could do, making sure that we were completely happy with everything. Not only is he good at what he does, but he seems like a genuinely wonderful person. I am so happy he was our DJ for the night...I would pick him again and again.

Jan was great to work with! Incredibly friendly and responsive. He was able to provide reccomendations while also listening to our tastes and preferences. Jan was super easy to work with and very professional! Price was great and lighting was also amazing! Jan kept everyone on the dance floor and he was a really fun DJ to work with! We highly recommend Dj Jan! He made our wedding reception super special and had the dance floor packed all night long! Planning a wedding from overseas was not easy, but Jan was super responsive and easy to get in touch with. He was also super accomodating as we had a lot of international guests. He did a great job to accomodate our out of town guests by playing and mixing sets with international tunes. He did this so well that I had many of the local guests asking for the names of the songs after our wedding. He played a great mix of songs that suited guests of every age and culture. Even my Grandmother had a great time and hit the dance floor. He also did great accomodating last minute additions to our reception like a granddaughter/grandfather dance (literally with 2 minutes notice). He was a blast to work with and made our reception super special. We would highly recommend him to anyone considering him for their wedding DJ.

DJ Jan was AWESOME! He was professional, easy to work with and extremely accommodating. DJ Jan made last minute adjustments to accommodate our requests. Jan did a great job with our wedding! He was able to meet with us a few times prior to our event to get everything just right. I could not of had a better Dj for my wedding. Jan is extremely professional and his set-up/lighting was beautiful. The biggest thing in picking a Dj is their ability to create a fun/party atmosphere after the dinner and speeches. If you have an empty dance floor, you have a shitty wedding. Our was absolutely slammed all night long thanks to Jan and his amazing mixing abilities and SPOT on song selection. This man can read a crowd and always has the perfect song to play next. Let him do his thing and you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend Dj Jan Jursa for your wedding or any big event!

Jan was an excellent addition to our wedding day! He was one of the easiest vendors we had to work with and we could not have me a better decision to go with him. One of the main reasons that we choose Jan was because of how professional he was. We didn't want a flashy DJ that took over the reception but rather we wanted one who would complement it and that is exactly what Jan delivered. After dinner, the dance floor stayed full until the end with classic top hits as well as current songs and of course wedding classics! Our guest still talk about our day as one of the best weddings and we owe a huge thank you to Jan as we know he was a large part of that! We highly recommend Jan to anyone looking for a DJ who will get the job done and right!

Jan was so very helpful and flexible when planning our wedding! I live and Michigan, so planning a Pennsylvania wedding wasn't the easiest thing in the world.
