Best Wedding DJ Ever!

I cannot recommend Jack enough as a wedding DJ! He did an incredible job at our wedding on 10/5/24. From the moment he arrived, his energy was infectious, and it was clear he genuinely loves what he does. Jack has an amazing ability to read the room and keep the dance floor packed all night long. He was professional, responsive, and super helpful with all our requests, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Danced all night!

DJ Jack Farmer was an incredible asset to our wedding experience. A total recommend!

DJ Jack Farmer DJ'd my event on June 6, 2025. Prior to my event, we scheduled an easy, quick intro call to identify what we wanted to happen in terms of music and timeline. During the event, he successfully coordinated with my event manager to ensure music and timeline was executed perfectly. He also handled a couple last minute changes with ease. Everyone who attended enjoyed the fun vibe. It wouldn't have been the same without him!

He is charismatic, professional, prepared, present, and overall a pleasure to work with!

I would recommend DJ Jack Farmer to any prospective clients! I look forward to him DJ-ing at my future events.

Best hype man!!

DJ Jack Farmer was the best hype man I could have asked for at my wedding this past Friday 10/6/23. My husband and I aren’t the most extraverted people and really wanted someone to get people to the dance floor. He gave us the past grand entrance that hyped up the crowed just like you’d image at a boxing match. It was so much fun! Not only that, prior to the wedding we had many calls going over song options and he replied to emails really quickly. Also, he made sure my husband and I was on the dance floor whenever one of our requested songs were played while also playing music for our first look even prior to the wedding itself. Overall, he was amazing at our wedding and if I throw another event again in the future, he’d be our go to.

Jack is Excellent

Jack is the BEST of the BEST! My husband and I hired Jack to MC our wedding and we have zero regrets. We had a dry wedding, and one of our main concerns was getting our guests out onto the dance floor without any liquid courage. Jack fired up the crowd and gave them the courage they needed through his charismatic personality and perfectly curated playlist and my husband and I, all our families and our friends danced together the whole night. Jack did an excellent job at listening to what we wanted and executing it flawlessly. He made us feel like the only couple he was working with, yet clearly demonstrated his years of experience. Throughout our time working with Jack he was professional, reliable, and kind to us and our family members and maybe most importantly - knew how to read the room and make adjustments as needed. We highly recommend Jack for any event you want to be professionally run while having fun and we are so grateful he was part of our special day! Book him!

Best dj/mc ever!

We are so grateful to have had the chance to work with Jack! He is such an amazing DJ/MC! He was recommended by a friend who hired him for their wedding, so we decided to work with him as well. He did an AMAZING job hyping up our crowd and getting people on the dancefloor! All my guests had an amazing time and loved all of his music choices. Even working up to the wedding, he was very well detailed and checked in with us to ensure that our wedding day would run smoothly. We even had check-in meetings to go over the wedding timeline and music preferences. I really appreciated his attention to detail, he even checked to ensure that he was properly pronouncing all the names of the people in the wedding party. Overall, he was really professional and did an amazing job! He even wore a super cute tie with headphones on it; IT EVEN MATCHED HIS SUIT! Jack is definitely the best DJ/MC, I will 100000% recommend him to EVERYONE I know!

Jack is the absolute best! We loved having him as the DJ for our wedding this last April in San Clemente. He is an all around great guy with professionalism and talent. If you want to have a GREAT time, HIRE HIM!

Jack is amazing! We got married 6/23/23 and had so many guest compliment us at our wedding and ask us how we found him. He was the DJ at my cousins wedding and was excellent so we knew we had to have him. Not only is he professional, he’s also a great time! He has a great announcer voice, he pumps up the party and knows how to keep everybody dancing. Everything went soo smoothly! He planned a couple meetings with us to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and he executed it perfectly. I honestly felt completely stress free and knew he had it all under control. Highly recommend, one of the best DJs out there!

Don't waste your time shopping around...Jack is the best!!

I had the pleasure of working with Jack as the DJ and MC for my wedding on 5/7/23, and I have nothing but positive things to say about his performance. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was memorable and enjoyable for everyone.

Jack's music selection was fantastic and he really knew how to get the crowd on their feet and dancing. He seamlessly transitioned between songs and made sure that the music matched the mood and energy of the room. He also took requests from our guests and made sure to play a mix of old and new songs to keep everyone happy.

As an MC, Jack was fantastic. He kept the flow of the reception moving smoothly and made sure to keep everyone informed and engaged. He had a great sense of humor and was able to make announcements and introductions in a way that was both professional and entertaining.

Throughout the entire process, Jack was extremely professional and easy to work with. He was very responsive to our requests and made sure to listen to our vision for the wedding reception. He was also very accommodating and worked with us to make sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it.

I highly recommend Jack as a wedding DJ and MC. He is truly talented at what he does and will go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding is a memorable and enjoyable event.

Hire Jack to do your wedding!

Jack did my wedding in December of 2022 and knocked it out of the park! He was extremely thorough in our preliminary calls leading up to the wedding to discuss everything from background music and individual song choices for key moments, as well as the reception playlist. We had so many guests compliment the music throughout the night and afterward and people were on the dance floor the entire night. My wife and I couldn't have asked for more. Jack was an awesome emcee and DJ—10/10—you should hire him to do your wedding.

Easy decision!

My Bride and I had the honor of having DJ Jack Farmer as our DJ/MC for our wedding on 10/21/22 and that decision of hiring DJ Jack was the catalyst to an epic wedding reception party!

We had the privilege of meeting and seeing DJ Jack perform at a wedding back in 2018. Nearly 3 years later and we knew he was our DJ. You could only imagine our elation when we reached out to him and he was available for our day! Jack is a warm and inviting person. It wasn't but moments after speaking with him that we were laughing and felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. His ability to read a room and adjust the song selection or style is matched by none and his skill in blending different eras and genres were near seamless. He was able to keep a room full of people aged 10-92 dancing, reminiscing, and engaged the whole night through which is exactly what we wanted.

A DJ can make or break an event. In a world where everyday is chock full of decisions both big and small, finding that perfect DJ can be the most difficult especially when you don't get to see or hear their work so you have to rely on word of mouth or reviews such as this. So, I hope you find comfort knowing that DJ Jack Farmer is the one and only DJ you need!

Jack, we cannot thank you enough for your dedication to your craft, your expertise and guidance with the musical selections, your input with the up lighting, and for making our day feel just as important to you as it was to us! Thank you so much for everything!

Jack Farmer Is the Best of the Best!

The DJ was the only vendor I let my now husband pick for our wedding and Jack Farmer was literally the best. He is organized, and professional, and knows exactly what he's doing. When we did our planning session he gave us great tips and we ended up changing a couple of things due to his recommendation, and everything turned out amazing. In addition to being organized and professional, he is also an extremely good hype man! He reads the room so well and the music was always perfect and appropriate. Our family and friends loved him, our bridal party raved about him, and we could not have asked for anything more. I would absolutely recommend him!

The best dj

DJ Jack Farmer was hands down the best DJ and we felt so lucky to have him as part of wedding team. He was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and the day of he truly impressed us and all of our guests. Honestly, one of the aspects of our wedding our guests bring up the most was how amazing our DJ was and how it made the reception so much fun! He pumped up our wedding party before we made our entrances to the reception. He also recommended we bring everyone out to the dance floor initially after our entrance for a short dance set which initially we were a little unsure about but that was one of the best recommendations! Everyone was out on the dance floor from the start of the reception which broke the ice for lots of dancing after dinner and made for such a memorable time. He was the best DJ for our wedding we every could have imagined! Also he is so thoughtful and remembered a song that was important to us and incorporated it as a surprise the end of the night which was such a sweet way to end the night for us.

Book the Best!

There's a million DJs in Los Angeles, but there's only one DJ Jack Farmer! We booked him for our wedding, and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. DJ Jack was super fun, easy-going, professional, and really listened to our needs for our wedding. About a month before the wedding, we met with him over Zoom to go over exactly what music would be playing for processional, recessional, grand entrance, etc. and he even provided playlists with ideas for parts of the night we weren't sure about yet. DJ Jack was super flexible and easy to get in contact with, so we were able to change songs and add must-play songs even last minute. Not only was he our DJ, but he was also the MC of our wedding, which was exactly what we needed since there were a few points in the night we needed special announcements made. DJ Jack knew how to read the room and really got the party started. Our guests were raving about the music during and afterwards. Guests will always remember music at a wedding, so go with the best and book DJ Jack!

Book him right now!

Where do we even being!? Jack was the glue that our wedding reception needed. From rallying up the bridal party before our grand entrances to pumping up the crowd to cheer them on as they danced into the reception, he did it all. As a wedding photographer, I've seen my fair share of DJs and not one of them even comes CLOSE to Jack. He shared some super fun ideas with us, got people on the dance floor, and kept the party going all night long. Cannot recommend him enough!!!

You want his energy at your wedding!

The best decision of our wedding was DJ Jack Farmer and this is not an exaggeration. Jack was able to control the tone of our entire wedding, from our sweet and romantic ceremony to the energy building cocktail hour to our explosive grand entrance morphed into an impromptu dance party. No one would have done a better job at commanding our guests' attention, hyping up the crowd, and then sustaining that crazy amount of energy for an ENTIRE reception. The dance floor was never empty. His music adapted perfectly to the ever-changing crowd. When Jack spoke, everybody listened. And everybody was PUMPED. You literally could not help it, even if you were the grumpiest grump. Jack’s energy is unmatched, pure joy, and completely genuine; best of all, it is contagious.
Speaking of contagious, I should disclose that I was unfortunately one of the pandemic brides who had to postpone our wedding from 2020 to just about 2 weeks ago. So instead of knowing a vendor for maaaybe a year, my husband (yay finally!) and I were in contact with Jack for almost 2 years! And we can say that he was consistently reliable, organized, and professional and just an all-around great guy throughout the 2 years of working with him.
Looking back at the uncertainties of navigating a pandemic, I will always be grateful to Jack for his flexibility, kindness, and commitment to us throughout the accidental long engagement. He did not charge us extra when we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. I felt that spoke volumes of his moral fiber as he did not capitalize on a tough situation. He is genuinely invested in you and your big day! The man's got a big voice and a big heart!
Honestly, do yourself a favor and just book him. Stop scrolling. There's a reason why every single one of these reviews are nothing but YAAAS. I am saving you time to go decide your flowers or outfits or the million other decisions needed in event planning; choosing Jack is a no-brainer.

Excellent experience! Cannot recommend enough!

Jack is one of the most professional, easygoing vendors we've ever worked with--both for our wedding and in our professional experiences. He is extremely organized, open to all types of music that appeals to a wide range of guests, and clearly communicated with us throughout the entire planning process. Moreover, he stuck with us throughout THREE iterations of our Joshua Tree wedding: (1) pre-COVID 19, (2) post-COVID 19, and (3) post-wildfire. Through all the adjustments, Jack remained flexible and helped ensure that our guests would feel welcome and safe. When the wildfire broke out and we had to significantly alter our wedding ceremony, Jack was available and willing to help save the day in any way he could. We are so grateful to have worked with him and cannot recommend him enough. When we have our anniversary dance party, he will no doubt be our first call.

I was blown away by Jack!

Jack was the only vendor we chose off of our venue's preferred vendor list & I am SO HAPPY we did! A DJ is a huge part of how fun your reception is going to be & he completely blew me away. Literally no one stopped dancing the entire night! We ended up having 2 dance areas because no one would sit down! From our first couple emails to our first phone conversation, I knew we made the right decision. He was so professional & so funny! He let's you be as involved as you want.. you can either give him 100% control, you can give him a playlist of songs you want to be played, or somewhere in the middle. I gave him most of the control & he killed it! He was even nice enough to hold the microphone for my dad while he was giving his speech because he was so nervous.. so sweet! I would 100 million percent recommend him as your wedding DJ! Thank you Jack!

Fantastic DJ! Highly recommend!

Jack DJ'd our wedding and did an absolutely phenomenal job! We had absolutely no complaints and the best time. Jack does a great job of getting everyone involved and having fun from the beginning into the late night. We first met at a Starbucks late at night many months prior showing his commitment to clients, and he delivered on every detail spoke about in the first meeting to a T. Jack brought the energy, fun, games, and everything you could possibly want in a wedding DJ. He was super prepared on every detail, transitions of events not only during the ceremony but the party were all seamless. I would and will recommend Jack to any event that has a DJ needed!

The absolute best!

We honestly can't say enough good things about Jack! What a fun, extremely well prepared, kind, and outgoing human being (the most important qualities in a wedding DJ/emcee? Yes. Definitely.). One thing I loved about Jack right away is that he charges a flat, all-inclusive fee which is truly a breath of fresh air when all other aspects of wedding planning can feel like an exercise in how much nickel-and-diming you're able to tolerate. Need a DJ for the ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to the reception? No problem. Are your ceremony and cocktail hour in one area and the reception in another meaning the DJ will need to bring two set-ups or move mid event? No problem. That's included. Did you pick an obscure first dance song that your DJ will have to download pre-wedding? Not to worry. You won't be getting an invoice for $1.75. It might just be because I'm a millennial but I really appreciated that approach. More importantly, Jack was super on top of things, had three meetings with us to be sure he knew exactly what we wanted and didn't want in terms of music, shared some amazing playlists with us to help us select songs for all the big moments, and is clearly super comfortable being in front of crowds and handling all those pesky announcements that need to be made during the wedding. Finally, we got COUNTLESS compliments from guests about how much they loved him. The dance floor was packed all night and Jack is phenomenal at reading the room and picking the perfect next jam to keep people on their feet. If you need a DJ for ANY event, let me strongly recommend you consider Jack - you won't regret it!

The coolest/best DJ around!

DJ Jack was the best decision of our wedding! Keeping the dance floor going all night was important to us and DJ Jack made sure that happened. Everyone at the wedding was coming up to us saying they had a blast and that the DJ was the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding!

Jack was super professional, timely, easy to work with and had the best personality. He understood exactly what vibe we were going for and was able to play music for all ages/tastes. Best decision we made!

Jack was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for! He was so easy to work with, got our personalities and wants right from the start and delivered a seamless performance the night of. We had planning calls with him before hand where he went over the type of music we like (which was a bit all over the place between my husband and I) and let us make a playlist where we could add songs over the months before hand. It was so great to know we were going to hear what we wanted to day of, but also trust him to alter or adjust depending on our crowd. Everyone (and I mean everyone) danced the entire night and it was all because of his great MC/DJing. I highly recommend him!

Best DJ in the OC

DJ Jack Farmer was the DJ we had been searching for! I have had many corporate parties and never could find a DJ who could read the crowd or keep the the party pumping!!! So finding a DJ for our wedding was a daunting task. I got his number from my wedding coordinator Jen with "KLINK events". The way he was able to guide the party was incredible. Far surpassed our expectations. Dj Jack Farmer is also such a handsome fellow!!! Very well dressed and kept the ladies on the dance floor. His level of professionalism is bar none. He communicated with us weekly regarding, needs, wants and song choice. He kept the time line in check so that the reception flowed. A huge thank you to the best DJ in Orange county!!!

Dance floor was bumping all night!

DJ Jack Farmer dj'd our wedding at the Skirball Center. The music was perfect, and he was a pleasure to work with throughout the process! We had about 250 people at our wedding, and Jack kept the dance floor packed through the very last song of the night. Jack worked with us to create a timeline for our wedding, and executed everything seamlessly. Planning the wedding was stressful, at times, but Jack's thoughtfulness and professionalism made the process that much smoother. Thank you, Jack!

The best choice for dj

Jack was the ABSOLUTE BEST CHOICE for DJ for our wedding. Originally, I was nervous hiring a DJ because after attending so many weddings myself, the "music or dancing portion" of the evenings has started to feel so cliche, forced, expected, and almost routine. However, with Jack, it was clear from the very beginning, he was most interested in getting to know us as a couple, our style, our interests in order to create a flow throughout the evening of music that felt authentic to us. He seamlessly incorporated our "special songs", read our guests and their responses to the different styles played, and adjusted accordingly. He was constantly working throughout the night, highly engaged and extremely perceptive/ in tune to us and our guests. Jack was also willing to adapt to making the night be what we wanted (even if it meant cutting out a lot of the more traditional pieces). Not only did my husband and I walk away saying we loved Jack's work, but our families and countless wedding guests also commented that this was the best music atmosphere they have ever experienced at a wedding. That's because Jack truly puts in the preparation and hard work and is just overall extremely connected to what he is doing and why he is doing it. When I read reviews about Jack keeping the dance floor packed all night I knew this was the DJ for our wedding. Not only was he organized and knowledgeable about the process, he made everything so easy for me. Best DJ/MC Around!

I was super particular as to what type of a DJ/MC I wanted for my wedding and Jack Farmer was everything and more! I had a good feeling about him from the moment we first talked. He is professional and organized but can still put on a show! I had a vision for what I wanted the ceremony and reception to be like and Jack was able to provide feedback and direction. His energy and enthusiasm are infectious and he makes you feel like your event is the most important thing! We still have wedding guests telling us that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. A huge part of that is in thanks to Jack Farmer. Nonstop party

From the minute my husband and I booked Jack for our wedding we knew we were in good hands. He is very professional and knows what he’s doing. He is so fun to work with and our guests are still talking about what a great DJ we had. The dance floor was full all night! We danced all night long!

I cannot say enough great things about DJ Jack! My daughter’s wedding was amazing and we have DJ Jack to thank for setting a fun mood. The ceremony and dinner music was perfect. From the very first conversation we had with Jack, he was a joy to work with. Jack has the BEST positive attitude — the kind that is warm and infectious, and makes you immediately feel comfortable. What's more, he knows what he's doing. He's professional, open to feedback and set on making sure his clients are happy with his work.

Best. DJ. Ever.

From the start, Jack was a consummate professional. He's very detail-oriented with everything from the contracting process right up to the follow up. He was flexible about where and when to meet with us and very organized about keeping all of our details straight. We had several very challenging names in our bridal party and Jack was diligent about practicing them to make sure he got them all right.

But it's not all just about professionalism. Jack is friendly, personable and knows how to be the force behind a party. The night of our reception was a whirlwind but the dance floor was always full, and we got so many comments about how much everyone loved the music and dancing. Even my father-in-law who no one has ever seen dance was out on the floor!

Jack Farmer did an amazing job DJing our wedding! His positive energy and excitement from the moment we reached out made our decision to work with him one of the easiest decisions we made in our planning process and he was everything we were hoping for and more!!! Fabulous, non-cheesey DJ

I cannot recommend Jack enough! He is the best wedding DJ I have experienced, and I'm not just saying that because it was at my wedding. He is an excellent MC, and he really knows how to get a crowd onto a dance floor. All of the feedback I have gotten from people is that we had one of the most fun weddings that they have ever been to, and so much of that is because of the energy that Jack brought to the night. He was incredibly easy to work with, was super great at taking our requests, and knowing what we wanted to hear the night of even without us telling him! If he recommends opening up the dance floor right after the grand entrance and getting everyone out of their seats to come dance with you, do it! He's amazing!!

Jack was the best MC/DJ we could have asked for at our wedding. From the initial meeting to following up with the detail (timeline, song selection, etc) prior to the wedding, he was super helpful and professional. On the day of, our officiant also raved about how helpful and friendly he was during the sound check and he made our ceremony go as smoothly as possible.

During the reception/dance party, Jack knew how to pump excitement to the room from the grand entrance and through the entire night. He got the crowd to party and played all the right songs at the right time. We had so much fun and didn't want to night to end! Not only he was a great professional MC/DJ for us, he is so fun, nice, and pleasure to work it!

So glad we found Jack!

Aside from an open bar and good food, a DJ is probably the next important element in making sure all of your guests have a great time at your wedding. I am so glad that my coordinator recommended Jack Farmer. Jack took great care to know me and my husband and understand our (very eclectic) tastes. He followed our lead but also provided great suggestions for songs I didn’t even know we needed song choices for (there’s a processional AND a recessional, folks). We had several calls beforehand to go over the schedule, song choices, name pronunciations (very important!), etc.

On the day of the wedding, Jack hit every mark and somehow made our interesting must-play song list flow throughout the evening. Our guests were always on the dance floor and we received several comments after about how great the party was, which is the best compliment a bride and groom can get.

I’m so glad Jack DJ’d the biggest party of our lives, and I’m only sad that we won’t have an opportunity to use him again in the near future (anniversary?! Bar/Bat Mitzvahs? Fingers crossed!).

If you hate parties, dancing, unforgettable memories and fun overall, Jack probably isn’t the DJ for you. But if having a good time at your wedding/major life event, give Jack a call!

Best DJ in town!

DJ Jack Farmer is the best DJ in town!! He has great energy and kept the dance floor filled all night. Still floating on a cloud after the best day of my life and Jack was a huge part of that. Jack came with glowing recommendations but he still managed to exceed our expectations. He was so easy to work with, always quick to respond and made great suggestions to help make our wedding day absolutely perfect. My husband and I didn't have a bridal party which meant no drawn out grand entrance so Jack suggested we have a mini dance party with all of our guests as our grand entrance - it was all our friends and family could talk about and set the mood for the rest of the night. We love so many types of music that we pretty much gave Jack free reign to play what he wanted and he played the best mix of songs and artists that fit our beach venue to a tee. Our last hour and a half of the wedding was the most epic dance party I have ever been a part of and Jack kept up the energy all night. My wife and I got married in July 2018 and we decided to book Jack for our wedding. One of the best decisions we made. Jack was excellent to work with. Jack was the DJ for our friend's wedding and it was so much fun, so when we got engaged, we had to have him! DJ Jack was awesome! We had him play the late night part of our wedding for a few hours, and he crushed it. We gave him some ideas of the type of music we like, and let him take it from there, and he kept the dance floor full until 1am. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy level really high. He had people up on stage dancing around him and got everyone circled around us for a huge sing along at the end of the night. My husband and I are SO lucky we booked Jack as our wedding DJ. He was super easy to work with, flexible, helpful, and all around amazing! Jack was punctual, full of positive energy, and professional. He played a ton of music off of our song requests list and made everything so perfect! Even when we had an issue with our catering coming out late and other items not in place on time, Jack saved us with a quick announcement to our guests like it was no big deal. He was amazing! Wow, so many great things to say about Jack! We first heard him DJ at my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding. From that day, we knew that DJ Jack had to be at our wedding! When it came to our wedding, we called him up right away to see if he was available and thankfully he was! Jack is the best DJ ever! My husband and I had our wedding June 2017. We had a mixed cultural wedding, with demographics split between Indian and American guests, and guests in their 60's and guests in their 30's. Music was an extremely important element to us--it has the potential to make or break a wedding, so we had to get it right.

Jack was recommended to us by our wedding planner who had hired him for her own upcoming wedding. When we first met Jack, we were immediately impressed by his professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. He walked us through the wedding from start to finish and had plenty of recommendations to offer when we needed them. After our meeting, Jack maintained consistent communication until the big day.

On the day of the wedding, Jack's talent, genuine love for his work, and high energy really shined. There is so much to say about how much he brought to our wedding experience, I want to say it all but I'll try to be quick!

Before the grand entrance, he does a "pump up" session with the wedding party that really brings up the energy.
He convinced us to do a mini-dance party after the grand entrance and it really maintained the energy level of our guests into dinner. I highly recommend you listen to him on this!!
He coordinated a sing along with my Dad for dinner that was a surprise to us and the guests.
He worked with my husband to surprise me with a second dance song which also helped to bring all the guests to the dance floor when dinner was finished.
He brought in plenty of Indian dance music that was a hit.
The dance floor truly was crowded ALL night!

At the end, he sent us the full playlist for us to save. We got so many compliments on Jack and I can't recommend him enough. If you're looking for someone who will truly keep your party going, he is your guy! Thank you, Jack!!

Are you ready to dance ALL NIGHT LONG at your wedding? You need Jack! Seriously we had so much fun on the dance floor! Half of my family is french canadian and he even played some of our favorite french songs which really got that crowd going.

We got married at Rimrock Ranch in Joshua Tree in September 2017 and it's a tricky outdoor venue that needs a good DJ to help with the flow of things. Jack did such a great job at "herding" our guests from one event to the other and then keeping them on the dance floor until the very last song.

Several of my guests came up to me at the end of the night and asked for his information because they had a great time and hope to hire them for their own wedding!

DJ jack farmer was incredible! He knew exactly what we wanted before even we and our crowd did. What makes Vox the best is the high level of customer autonomy from the very beginning of your wedding planning.

From our first meeting with Jack and meeting the Vox fam, where we shared a lot of laughs, we knew that we'd made the right decision with Jack because he is so easy to get along with and has such vast experience with weddings and extensive knowledge of music styles. He will let you choose every song on your own or fill in as many blanks as you need/desire with a high degree of professionalism, integrity but also tons of spontaneity and fun. Jack has timeline down to a science and is able to successfully collaborate with any vendor at any time. Jack was the DJ/ MC for my wedding a couple days ago and all of my family/ friends could not stop talking about how great he was and what an awesome job he did. I can't say enough good things about him and his work. He was easy to work with, super responsive, and organized from the 1st time I reached out. He is friendly and his outgoing upbeat personality made it refreshing to work with while dealing with the stress of wedding planning. While planning everyone kept telling me that the DJ/MC will make or break your wedding and it was so true. Jack made the night flow, engaged guests and created the exciting party. We are so grateful and can't thank him enough for the amazing job he did. During the planning process jack was able to talk us through different scenarios that would take place through the night and was able to help us pick song and make a timeline. Jack is worth every penny we spent.

If i could give Jack Farmer from VOX DJs the right amount of stars he deserves, it would be 10 STARS! Hands down THE BEST Wedding DJ i have ever seen. Been to quite a few weddings and know exactly that the DJ can make or break the night. Played all the BANGERZ and kept everyone, yes EVERYONE including my 90 year old Grandma on the dance floor! His presence, MC Skills, song selection, mixing ability, and pump up speech to the whole bridal party was something most people dream of having. Seriously THE BEST IN THE BIZ!

Jack was a phenomenal choice for our wedding! Prior to the planning of this wedding, I really had no idea how impactful the DJ selection can be to the wedding. From the introductory emails, to the initial face-to-face planning meeting, to the last-minute changes just prior to the wedding, Jack was always friendly, professional, and timely. He offered helpful suggestions but also respected me and my wife's decisions in a few areas.

His energy and attitude helped make our wedding a blast! I had a lot of folks comment on how great the music selection and playlists were. Another guest said she had never seen the dance floor so consistently occupied. Needless to say, we were blown away and we definitely have Jack to thank for helping everything come alive on our special day!

Let me start off by saying DJ Jack Farmer was truly the best decision that my husband and I made during our entire wedding planning process. We didn't truly understand how much of an impact our decision would make on the outcome of our big day but in the end we saw how vital Jack was to our special day.

My husband actually works in the wedding industry and as you can imagine we got tons of referrals for DJ's but Jack came highly referred and from the moment we met Jack, we instantly fell in love with not only his work but him as a person. I honestly can't say enough good things about him...he was so kind, took the time to get to know us, asked us questions that no other vendor did which really helped make our vision a reality, creative and enthusiastic. You can 100% tell this is his passion and this is what he is meant to do to.

Our ceremony and reception was a bit complicated due to taking communion, a very unique wedding party entrance, first dance and special song requests but Jack nailed it!! The entire night was seamless and he even offered suggestions that we would have never thought of which made the night even more perfect. My main concern was people wouldn't dance or go home earlier and that was not the case at all with Jack being our DJ we had a packed dance floor until the very last song of the night. He had 2yr olds to 82yr olds dancing the night away and knew what songs to play at different times of the night.

If I had to describe our wedding in one word it would be FUN thanks to Jack!!

Jack! From the bottom of my heart, I want to say THANK YOU for making our wedding such a hit!

I've known Jack since High School in Washington, and by chance, we both ended up in Southern California. We were both on the track & field team... Jack was the unassuming guy that was easy to get along with and everyone liked. I learned Jack was a DJ through Facebook and half jokingly said, "you're going to come DJ my wedding!" Well, a few months passed, and I didn't give it another thought. I started looking at wedding venues - beach venues, hotels, quaint locations, and I kid you not, 'DJ Jack Farmer' was listed as a preferred vendor for almost half of them. I asked about their lists, they all said they only provide recommendations for vendors they have worked with that provide them with consistently stellar service - no one could pay to be on their lists. Impressive!

Fast forward to me telling my future groom that a friend from HS was going to be DJ'ing our wedding. He was skeptical... but as we went through the process with Jack, and seeing the multiple venue recommendations, he relaxed a little. We wanted to be very hands-off and just let Jack do his thing, so Jack took the reigns, getting feedback from us where necessary and handling the rest, keeping things suuper stress free for us.

The biggest compliment we could have received was HOW MANY guests came back and told us that our wedding was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and many made specific reference to the DJ. My new hubby was even bragging about Jack! Jack can read a crowd, and kept the energy up and going all night long!

Jack, your professionalism and dedication to your craft definitely show. We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful memories you helped us create that night.

I'm not sure I can express my confidence in Jack in this short review, but all I can say is that he was definitely THE BEST decision we made for our wedding.

What I loved about this guy was how he put effort into finding out what my wife and I liked and how we envisioned our wedding reception to be. He helped shape that vision into a reality and we just had a blast the whole night. He was very professional with his work and as we got a chance to learn more about him through multiple meetings, we grew to like the guy and just had great confidence in him. Although very professional, his services were very personalized. He provided great feedback with his knowledge and experience in the industry and my wife and I are just truly grateful for him.

The whole night, people were up and dancing. Jack's ability to read the crowd is amazing and he just knew what music to play at any given moment. We loved his MC skills as he is super fun, energetic, and just a great guy all around. We had nothing but praises about our DJ the whole time. He definitely made our wedding day extremely memorable. Jack is a fantastic DJ that I highly recommend! As a wedding coordinator I've worked with many DJs and he is definitely one of the best in my experience. He was communicative and organized in preparation for the wedding and arrived on time for set up. His lighting and set up would fit great with any wedding style. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way - we were referred to Jack by our wedding venue and we are SO glad we took their advice. From the moment we met Jack, we knew he HAD to be our DJ. You truly won't find his level of enthusiasm, experience, and professionalism anywhere else (trust us!). Working with Jack during the months leading up to our wedding was an absolute stress-free and enjoyable experience – he listened to what we liked and didn't like, when we needed advice his suggestions were always 100% on point, he was always available to answer a question (or in my case 600), and he always responded to emails in a timely fashion (which, trust me, is a super important quality in any vendor you hire for your special day). In general, we were absolutely confident in his abilities and he beyond exceeded our expectations!

The day of our wedding, Jack was there on time and set up without any issue (promptness is such a key quality!) The music he played during our ceremony and cocktail hour was almost TOO perfect (how does he make it so special?!). During the reception he really hyped the guests, without being TOO hype (which is totally a thing). He is full of such great positive energy and it really makes all the difference! During one of our meetings we discussed the types of music we liked and gave him a few must plays. I am SO glad we left the majority of the selections up to him because his playlist MADE the night. He had everyone dancing, singing along and most importantly - he made sure everything ran smoothly. By the end of the night, we had a ton of people asking for his contact info for their upcoming events. I seriously can't recommend him highly enough!!

Jack Farmer was our DJ at our wedding in Long Beach in October 2015. We absolutely loved him! Not only was he a great DJ who played great music and really got the crowd dancing, but his service was top notch! He's very responsive and he hears what you say - he was the only one all day that actually pronounced our last name correctly. He was a great DJ and a fantastic emcee. Jack was our DJ for our wedding in August and this review is long over due! He made our wedding planning so easy and guided us through the process of picking wedding songs and was patient when we changed each song selection 2-3 times. I loved that he cared so much about what we, as a couple wanted to hear, and Jack was super respectful of my "hard no" don't play list. He made the planning less stressful and actually FUN! On the day of our wedding, he arrived on time, looked dapper and had an amazing professional attitude with all of our guests and vendors. He was very accommodating to our officiant and made sure our microphones and ceremony music was set up and executed flawlessly. Nothing keeps a party going like a great DJ, and we are so happy to have been referred to DJ Jack Farmer! We hired Jack for our February 2016 Wedding in Laguna Beach. Jack's energy and enthusiasm is infectious from the moment you meet him; his attention to detail while running through our wedding timeline really helped us envision our special day and how we wanted everything to go. As the emcee and music coordinator from the Ceremony on, Jack did an amazing job keeping our timeline and agenda in order. In addition to helping with our timeline, Jack made some other unique recommendations to start the party right, and they all paid off because butts were off of seats almost the entire night!

Now to the good stuff....while Jack was clearly a veteran planner and DJ, you still need someone to keep the party hype all night. He did not disappoint in this area either! We simply gave Jack a few songs that play to our "style", and he filled in the rest perfectly with great music from beginning to end. Like I mentioned earlier, we had a full dance floor almost all evening, and Jack knew how to play to the crowd to keep the energy high and the fun on the dance floor.

It was a privilege to have Jack keep the party hype at our wedding. If I could give them 100 stars I would...THANK YOU Jack for making the best party of our lives the most fun we and many others have ever had. You are AWESOME!

DJ Jack was awesome! We had such a great experience working with him at our wedding. Jack was extremely attentive and did all he could to make sure that our wedding day was everything we wanted and also executed at 110%. He even accommodated our late work schedules to meet and figure out details. Even the unique games we asked him to facilitate were accepted immediately and done flawlessly. The music and MC'ing were like clock-work. We are so blessed to have had our close family member refer us to DJ Jack Farmer for our wedding back in March of last year. He was a FANTASIC MC the entire night and played such great & upbeat music that my husband and I discussed prior to the wedding. When we first "met" Jack, he suggested that we setup a Skype meeting with him as an initial "meet-and-greet" and to discuss the details of our wedding. BRILLIANT IDEA! This was a first for my husband (then-fiancé) at the time and we had NO CLUE what to expect when it came to picking out a DJ for our wedding. Jack was kind, funny, and personable during our meeting with him and walked us through ALL of the major and minor details with us. He has a knack for understanding a couple's tastes, likes & dislikes, and personalities all within minutes of speaking to them. He understood VERY quickly what type of music we like and listen to, what keys songs we wanted for our wedding (first dance, father-daughter, walk-in dance, etc.) as well as the ones we never thought about (i.e. music during cocktail hour?? song to play when your parents walk down the isle?... A song to play during the bouquet and garter toss? Who would have thought of those!? Not us!). He brought up great ideas for themed songs that he would play throughout course of the night, and we thought his ideas were wonderful. Overall, I would say that my fiancé and I are not a demanding sort-of-couple, we like to go with the flow and hear other people's creative ideas. DJ Jack Farmer is a SUPER creative and talented DJ with a heart of gold. I can definitely say that our DJ was the best ever and I would HIGHLY recommend him to my friends and family for any type of event... And that's a FACT JACK! ;)

This review is for my experience with Jack Farmer. Considered many options for my wife and I's wedding. Jack stood out for the right reasons!

We decided to go with Jack. Home run choice. Prior to our wedding we noticed many positive things about him ie, easy to deal with, good energy, friendly, made the process easy, was organized etc.

Come day of our wedding, Jack was punctual and on top of everything. Received many compliments from guests about him: 'our DJ was a lot of fun', 'played great music', 'was really nice', 'Jack was funny and kept all the speeches/the timeline of events on track', 'did a excellent job with two games played at wedding', 'had great mic skills'... WOW!!! We really can't put into words how much we LOVED our DJ, Jack Farmer!!! From the very moment we met him, we knew he was the one! He is one of those people where you can feel his positive and fun energy and you just know that he can get a party going! Jack was the DJ/MC at our wedding in October and we STILL have guests raving about what a great party it was and telling us how amazing our DJ was!

On the day-of, Jack got there early to set up and prep at the ceremony area and arrived looking sharp in a nice suit! So professional! Our ceremony went off without a hitch and the music flowed perfectly throughout. Right before he announced our bridal party for our grand entrance, he got all of us in a huddle and pumped us up so that we were all laughing and dancing all the way to the dance floor! Jack kept the flow going with 90's/00's pop songs (per my request) throughout dinner and all of our friends LOVED it! Singing along to K-Ci & Jojo and Savage Garden is always fun, but it was amazing having half the tables in the room belting it out too! When we needed some distraction for the guests while we were doing table greetings, Jack turned into the greatest Centerpiece Game show host ever! It was hilarious watching him with the crowd and seeing how excited the guests were when they realized they were the winners.

Jack Farmer was our DJ and working with him was a pleasure from the very beginning, with regular followups and check-ins. During our last meeting with Jack before the big day to go through specifics, Jack was charismatic and understanding and offered advice and options easily. We really felt like we were being taken care of!

On the day of the wedding, Jack came to set up all the gear on time, with a smile throughout the whole day, putting people at ease and keeping spirits high. We also rented microphones for our live guitarist and allowed our videographer to plug into the audio to record our vows. Jack also has the perfect cheery and professional "DJ" voice to announce key points during our wedding!

Dancing! We had a relatively shy crowd at times and Jack hyped up the dance floor when the tone came down and kept spirits going high. He was able to read the dance floor vibe very well, transitioning from song to song perfectly, I want to say our maid of honor went through "this is my jam!!" moments pretty much constantly through the night.

Jack Farmer gets 5 stars from us! Jack made our wedding so memorable because he cared so much about what we wanted and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. He is understanding, organized and professional. Our wedding was a blast, he played all the music we liked, got our family and friends out on the dance floor and everyone had an amazing time! He helped with the audio during the ceremony and we didn't run into any technical issues with sound, everyone was able to hear the whole ceremony. He managed the entire reception, from calling out tables to get food, to getting everyone on the dance floor, he didn't even have to try hard to get people up because the music he played totally fit the mood.
