We can’t say enough good things about Ivan! From our first call to the very last song, he was professional, organized, and such a joy to work with. He checked in regularly, helped us fine-tune our reception timeline, and made planning a breeze with his easy-to-use app for scheduling and song lists.
We gave him way more songs than we could possibly fit in, and he did an amazing job reading the room and picking the perfect tracks from our list. Guests kept telling us how much they loved the music—one even said it kept them “on their toes” all night because Ivan moved between genres so effortlessly. He nailed our must-play list, kept the flow as emcee without being overbearing, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors.
On top of all that, we felt his pricing was a great value compared to others we met with, and he even surprised us with a thoughtful gift after the wedding. Ivan truly made our night unforgettable, and we couldn’t recommend him more! -

Ivan did a fantastic job running the show on our wedding day! He set up the mics and sound system for our ceremony, played music for cocktail hour, dinner, and reception, and made our requested announcements throughout the night. He was a great MC to queue up speeches and we did not have to worry about anything at all as it all ran smoothly. Ivan was very easy to reach, organized, and worked with us through every detail of the wedding day. We liked that we could provide our requested music for different portions of the night and then he also adapted our music to keep the party going! We would highly recommend synapse entertainment and were very happy with the quality of service we experienced for a great price! I can't recommend Ivan and Synapse Entertainment enough. Ivan read the room perfectly, knew what songs to cut short and what to play out, and was the perfect blend of mixing and cutting and just playing the hits. We got compliments all night about how good the DJ was and how packed the dance floor was. These guys will make your wedding better.Synapse Entertainment's reply:

Ivan was the easiest person to work with and made our day incredible! We had to make a last minute call based on weather at noon when our ceremony was at 4 and he was incredible! Highly highly recommend!Synapse Entertainment's reply:

Ivan was the best, truly. Beyond being an expert at reading a room, transitioning music, and having fun the entire night, he was so eager to really get to know us and to stay in communication the entire year leading to our wedding after we booked him. He was the kindest, most professional vendor we hired. He was attentive to our needs, worked well with our special needs family members, and was willing to answer my questions about anything even if it didnt directly involve the music. Even down to the week of, my mom threw in a suprise money Dance, my sister wrote a speech but wasnt on the schedule, and he had no problem rolling with the punches. And on the day we couldn't have asked for someone sweeter and more on top of things. You can tell he is experienced and amazing at what he does. He found and talked to whoever he needed to in order to keep things flowing and everyone on the same page. He never made us feel rushed and made our whole day so much fun and stress free. He is 100% more than worth every penny. I can't recommend him enough.Synapse Entertainment's reply:

Best DJ experience ever!!
My husband is in A/V and was super picky about sound quality, lighting, and everything in between. DJ Ivan listened to our needs, had patience, and really made sure our event went off without any hiccups. It was perfect - he got the crowd going, listened to us in the styles of music we enjoyed, and made it all inclusive for all of our guests. Everybody was telling us how wonderful the music was! DJ Ivan was awesome from start to finish. We didn't have to worry about a thing with him, which really relieved us and allowed us to cross one thing off the very long list of preparations early on. Our venue was the National Aquarium - an unusual layout for good audio setup - but he contacted the venue and figured it all out without adding any stress on us. He's very professional and an EXCELLENT communicator - which, as it turns out - not all vendors are. We had one casual in-person meeting where we discussed our tastes in music, which songs we absolutely wanted and which songs we absolutely didn't want to hear. He was very knowledgable and shared valuable advice from his several years of experience. My husband and I are both metal-heads, I also really enjoy trip hop and my family is from the Caribbean so they love them some Soca. Somehow DJ Ivan was able to accommodate all of it seamlessly, adding in some more well-known music here and there so that everyone had something to enjoy. DJ Ivan really set the tone for a truly magical and ethereal night.Synapse Entertainment's reply:
