The best DJ experience
DJ Imho and his crew were the absolutely best choice for our wedding day! We got so many compliments from our guests. I really feel like they made the whole experience stress free. Everything was perfect. The ceremony music, the monogram on the dance floor, dancing on the clouds, the photobooth, the announcing, and of course the music! They took care of all the mics for ceremony and speeches during reception. The photobooth girls were the sweetest and made the whole experience extra fun. They kindly put together an album of all the photos my guests took! Which we loved!!! DJ Imho really listened to what we wanted. We were pretty specific of what songs we wanted played and when, and he made it happen! He brought the best energy and music and our dance floor was packed all night! He definitely gave the crowd a little direction when needed during certain parts of the night, which was really appreciated. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and highly recommend! -

Ok so I met his brother Ramu at one of the wedding expos 1.5 years before my wedding. When I reached out Ramu was booked but he referred Imho to me. I read all his reviews and we did a call and I was like ok awesome. But let me tell you him and his team were INCREDIBLE. They kept my family and friends on the dance floor and it was so much fun. I told him we’re millennials and we want millennial vibes and it didn’t disappoint. We also has music in Chinese and Spanish and just all around perfect. He also got footage from the back which even my videographer doesn’t have and I’ve loved all his posts. I highly recommend booking with him. He was amazing, the Photo Booth was a hit. And if you’re thinking of maybe doing dancing on a cloud just do it it was magical. My wedding was perfect and he is one of the reasons why. -

My wife and I hired DJ Imho for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was such an amazing experience!
From the start Ihmo was professional, courteous, receptive, and prompt with his responses and willingness to provide an incredible experience for us and all of our guests.
Ihmo was a fantastic MC and played a crucial role in keeping us on time and I can't stress how enough how much fun everyone had on the dance floor!
Most importantly of all, Ihmo was an absolute blast to be around, and his kind energy was felt by everyone involved.
If you are planning on getting married in the New England area, we cannot recommend DJ Ihmo enough! -

Where do I even start? DJ Imho and his crew were amazing to work with from start to finish. He was easy to communicate with and thorough. He helped me understand the use of music during parts of the ceremony and reception that I had not even thought of. When the day of the wedding arrived, he kept guests informed and corralled to where they needed to go. Then the magic really started. He started spinning tracks and the dance floor filled quickly. I don't think I saw the floor clear at any point the rest of the night. So many people (many of whom we never thought would dance) got out there and were vibing hard. Towards the end of the night, he brought out these color changing foam sticks and the crowd went wild. It was so fun to see all the sticks being waved and people dancing! Then there is his crew for the photo booth. They brought great signs for props and were SO sweet. At the end of the night they handed me a beautiful album of all the photo booth pics with little messages from the folks in the photos. It was so considerate and sweet. Honestly, I can't imagine having done this wedding without him. If you are even remotely on the fence about a DJ- don't be. Hire DJ Imho, you won't regret it! His prices were very reasonable and honestly, I think he goes far above and beyond what he charges. Thank you DJ Imho for such an incredibly fun wedding! -

We can’t say enough amazing things about our wedding DJ! From start to finish, they were an absolute master of the moment. Not only did DJ Imho read the crowd flawlessly and keep the dance floor packed all night, but they also executed a few surprises we had planned perfectly—with impeccable timing, energy, and just the right touch of drama.
His ability to blend genres, read the vibe, and adjust in real time made every transition feel seamless. Guests of all ages were dancing, smiling, and completely engaged. We had people coming up to us all night (and even days later!) raving about how incredible the music and energy were.

I found DJ Imho on wedding wire and I am so glad I did. He was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. He did a great job we had a long list of songs some Cape Verdean and he had no problem making sure a good mix of both American and Cape Verdean were played. He got everyone one up and on the floor and kept them there. I had an amazing day and he was a huge part of it. I highly recommend him and his team. -

DJ Imho is fantastic. I'm serious there is no need to even click on another DJ's page. Lock him in now if he's available for your date. Booking a DJ was something my husband and I put off for a long time - truthfully we were overwhelmed by all the choices and had no idea how to select someone (especially since we are out of state) and we both get pretty annoyed when a DJ screams into the mic to rile up the crowd. DJ Imho has a great voice and doesn't scream into the mic haha, he's just someone who is meant to have a microphone because he's easy to listen to and is INCREDIBLY SKILLED at what he does. We laughed a little when he said he could get our crowd to dance...I've never seen them dance. One moment my husband and I will always remember is looking up from dinner at our sweetheart table to see EVERYONE out of their seats dancing. He's magic. We had people coming up to us at our wedding asking how we found our DJ and if he's local (these people were also from across the country and I suspect they also wanted to book him for an event lol!). He had my divorced parents up and dancing together on the dance floor at one point. What more can you say than that. He is an amazing and calming presence on your wedding day and he will make your event absolutely phenomenal. Check out his instagram, he posts so many videos of his couples that you will treasure (because it takes forever to get back anything from a videographer). One of our videos is titled dinner centerpiece giveaway, you can see how seamlessly he is able to open up the dance floor. I can tell that DJ Imho genuinely cares about the couples he works with. Look at how much love he gives each couple on his instagram and you'll be able to see that you're not just a number to him. The photobooth was also a great investment, it was super cool and he hung our light up sign for us. All I did was email asking him to do that like a month before and then I forgot to check back in about it closer to the date, but came out for my reception and saw that he had everything already set up the way I would have wanted it. He remembers what you tell him and just does it which is such a relief when you're trying to plan something with so many moving parts. He's an amazing person and DJ and we will surely be booking him again if we have other events in the area. We love you and you were a highlight of our wedding!

This is the second time we used them for an event...
So approx 7 years ago, I was at a distant cousin’s wedding and I saw DJ Imho and his crew and was so impressed by the way he was able to get everyone on the dance floor and keep everyone dancing (even my 89 year old grandmother). When I got married 5 years later, his performance stood out to me more than any other DJ I had seen at a wedding (and I went to many weddings and saw many DJs during those 5 years) that I hired him for my wedding in March 2017! He did not disappoint at that time and I got more compliments for his performance than the food and venue combined (which included a beautiful view of the Charles River and Boston Sky line). So when my father approached me about hiring a DJ for my mother’s 60th surprise birthday party, I knew exactly who to ask! DJ Imho was wonderful and I again received a lot of compliments from guests on his performance at our event. He got people on the dance floor with his personality and choice of music that I never thought would be on the dance floor in a million years. Furthermore, my mom literally did not leave the dance floor until the party was over and he consistently played the perfect songs for the crowd, despite not having a play list from me to work with.
Thank you DJ Imho - both events were wonderful and we could not be more pleased with your performance. If we find an opportunity again, I will definitely hire him!!! -

Imho was a fantastic choice for DJ. He was professional and always responsive throughout the planning process. We LOVE to dance - that was our #1 priority during our wedding and Imho kept the dance floor packed all night. He made sure there was something for everyone, and he really read the room to keep the energy up. He played a mix of everything, including some obscure jazz for cocktail hour (my husband's request), some wedding classics for the parents, and tons of pop/hip hop/dance hall for the party crowd. He was totally professional and went with the flow even when there were scheduling mishaps. I'd recommend him to anyone who is prioritizing a great dance party. -

Tina Sent on 11/16/2017If I could give DJ Imho and his staff 10 stars I would! After our venue the first vendor I wanted to book was a DJ. It was important to us to find someone who we felt would make our wedding reception fun. My husband and I wanted our friends and family to do more dancing than eating and we felt the Imho and his crew met more than any expectation we could’ve had. Our wedding was two weeks ago and our family and friends are still talking about how much fun our wedding was, and I truly believe that Imho and his staff played an enormous role in that. Besides being extremely professional his rates were very reasonable and we were able to include uplighting and Photobooth in our package as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know planning a wedding!!

I got a DJ, up-lighting, monogram, live texting, our love story taped, Photobooth, photobooth book, pictures and video all for one price. I did not even know they were going to be taking pictures or video that was just an added bonus. DJ Imho was always friendly and responsive, an all around pleasure to work with. He got the crowd motivated and once the dancing started he kept them on the dance floor. When we wanted a song changed he quickly yet seamlessly changed the song to something different.
Brides/Grooms, if they have an opening for your wedding date, consider yourself fortunate and book ASAP!

I’ve been to a lot of weddings and no DJ compares to him , him & his staff was very professional his attitude really helped set the mood for the night and he kept people dancing and having fun. His prices were excellent and while some other DJ's up-charged for better lights & equipment, DJ Imho did not. On the day of our wedding, he did an incredible job of getting our guests out on the dance floor moving and grooving. He was able to roll with the punches and get creative when we had some time to fill while we were trying to track down my toss bouquet. We had so many compliments about DJ Imho and how much fun everyone had at the wedding.
