I knew that I did not want your typical wedding DJ. I had a list of "do not plays" a mile long as we were searching. Then we found DJ Goodwin. Reena's style matched exactly what we were looking for! She would not play any line dancing songs and would focus more on indie, quirky music rather than top 40's. We ended up with a mix of 80's, 90's and Indie pop. My husband and I also made favorite songs lists on Spotify and she worked almost all of them in either during dinner or on the dance floor. She made professional announcements when needed that were short and to the point. I have zero complaints about the music or how she handled the dance floor. The only negative that I can think of (if I had to) is that they had a disco light thing that I did not like. To be fair, I only noticed it once and then promptly forgot about it and focused on having fun. I do not think I ever said "do not use this" either. The number one highlight is we were still debating our first dance song up until it was time to dance! Reena suggested doing both songs and played part of each. It was perfect! All in all, DJ Goodwin is beyond fantastic! They will work with you to make sure you have the playlist of your dreams.
