My wife and I can’t say enough good things about DJ Gil. He was professional yet very personable and clearly loves what he does. He made our wedding an absolute party. Fantastic DJ and MC!!!
Gil was great right from the beginning to the Wedding day! Very accommodating to our many special requests. He made the night extra special as he is an expert MC. No detail was left undone. He accomplished everything we asked. He even added market lighting which made the ambiance so lovely. A DJ is a very important decision in wedding planning and we are so glad we chose DJ Gil! Our guests had so much fun and we danced the night away.-

Wedding Dj Jan 2025
Our wedding was in Jan 2025 DJ Gil was awesome! He let us pick the songs we wanted to hear and mixed them so that the dance floor was filled all night. He talked with us the week of to go over our special song choices so he knew exactly the vibe we wanted. All our guests had a blast! I definitely recommend him for any wedding/upcoming event where you want to have a non stop party! -

Perfect for Us
DJ Gil was AMAZING!! We had a mixed Puerto Rican and Midwest American wedding and he tied two cultures together perfectly. He was even on the dance floor teaching our guests salsa and bachata steps so everyone could join in. He was very responsive, especially week of the wedding to coordinate a song sung during the ceremony. -

DJ Gil brought the energy as our wedding DJ!
DJ Gil was our DJ for our wedding and he was AMAZING!! He kept the party alive all night!! I had three different spots for the wedding that needed music: the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He had everything needed to get the job done at each location. The ceremony had a waterfall in the background and he ensured that the microphone was loud enough to hear over it for the guests. I also added a last minute surprise dance with my mom an hour before the ceremony started and he had it ready to go at the reception. Gil was very patient and kind leading up to the wedding. I was still adding songs the week of the wedding that I thought of last minute and he was super accommodating and quick to respond. Would highly recommend him! -

Best DJ For Wedding
DJ Gil went above and beyond to make our special day amazing. With the light display, fog machine and great music playing he had our wedding dance floor on fire all night. He played all of our playlists and did a great job and was very organized. He even handle 360 photo booth rental. Definitely Reccomend! -

DJ Gil's performance was absolutely outstanding. His ability to read the crowd and keep the energy high throughout the night was truly impressive. This was a painless and simple step to our wedding preparations. Jamie was on top of everything and we had to do nothing. He was kind and courteous and made this process so effortless. Beach Wedding
Let me begin that from the first phone call with DJ Gil we knew we found our guy. Very professional, detailed oriented, polite and knows what he is doing. I will say we did not have the most easy set up seeing we were on the beach for the ceremony, then on the pool deck for cocktails and reception and dinner on a different part of the beach. Not to worry Gil had it all figured out. But let Mother Nature throw a curve ball and produce a rain shower on the reception!! Again! Not to worry Gil was able to quickly adjust and make the ballroom work with music and lights!! I’m simply blown away how he was able to make it all happen without skipping a beat. If you are looking for not just a DJ but someone that will make your wedding or event over the top with lights and music get ahold of DJ Gil and hope he isn’t already booked because this is a man that is the best in the business and rest assured this would be one thing you won’t have to worry about as you are in great hands with a professional. DJ Gil, thank you again for making our wedding the best day of our lives!! -

DJ Gil Blake is truly amazing! He's super easy to work with and made the planning process stress free. We picked our own music for the reception but asked him to play his own recommended music for cocktail hour/ dinner. Every song selection he picked was perfect! He actually mixes songs (doesn't just press skip like some wedding DJ's I've seen) and gives straightforward pricing. We planned our wedding from Nashville, TN and DJ Gil Blake was always very kind to us and patient. He and his wife made the perfect duo on our wedding day and I could not thank them enough. I highly recommend him! -

Wonderful experience!
DJ Gil was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! He allowed us to create our own playlists for during the dinner, reception, and cocktail hour. DJ Gil kept all of our guests on the dance floor the entire night and our guests loved him! He was very accommodating when dealing with the noise ordinance at the resort, and was able to smoothly transition the dancing from outside on the terrace to inside the ballroom. He truly cared about making our wedding a day to remember and I would highly recommend him for any event! -

November 2021 Experience
We hired Gil for our November 2021 wedding, which was supposed to be May 1st, to October 18th, and finally, moved to November 2021 due to Covid. He was so understanding and flexible with the date changes. We were married at La Playa Beach & Golf in Naples Fl. There was some miscommunication on my end about my playlist, but Gil was able to accommodate the quick change before the reception dancing began, which was a life saver! Thank you Gil for providing the party! All of our guests were on the floor the entire time! -

Book him asap! Amazing
Our wedding was scheduled for September of 2020, but was moved a few times to April 29, 2021. DJ Blake was completely understanding of COVID circumstances and was very accomidating the entire two years of planning. We ended up having a wedding of only 17 guest in Marco Island so I was worried no one would want to dance. BOY WAS I WRONG! DJ Blake had everyone on their feet dancing the night away the entire time! Our guest raved all week about how that was the most fun they have had at a wedding thanks to our amazing DJ! He knew what songs to play for the crowd and even gave us a sheet to fill out months prior of music we would like to hear, from the background dinner music, to the actually reception. He kept everything running smoothly the entire night. Even when my husband and I decided to sneak away for pictures for a few minutes at night, he still kept the crowd entertained and dancing. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined thanks to DJ Blake! He also was very responsive the entire time, and accommodating to changes throughout the entire process of the wedding planning. So much fun!
DJ Gil and his wife Jaci were so professional, so kind, and SO FUN!! We had so many compliments on our reception and it’s mostly because of DJ Gil. He really kept our party going, taught our guests how to do the wobble and his wife Jaci frequently checked in with our other vendors to keep things moving and checked in on me and my husband to make sure we were happy and having fun.
We provided a playlist for cocktail hour, dinner and our must play songs for dancing and they filled in the blanks accordingly. We had THE BEST TIME!

The best dj!
Gil and his wife were absolutely awesome at our wedding!!! Gil was the nicest person to work with and was so helpful during the planning process. My mom and I would always look forward to talking to him, wedding planning can get stressful but he always reassured us that it would all be perfect and perfect it was!! He was so organized, played great music tailored to our preferences, had a super cool set up and kept our guests engaged and excited. If you are looking for a DJ for your event, look no further cause he is the BEST. -

I'll start by saying one of the most common statements I heard the night of our wedding was, "This music is FANTASTIC. Your DJ is amazing!!" We couldn't agree more! My husband and I were so grateful to have Gil as the DJ at our wedding, as he went above and beyond our expectations.
I was very impressed with how helpful he was throughout the whole process. I was changing around my ceremony music up to the very last minute and DJ Gil was so patient and incredibly helpful during that time. For the reception, he lets you pick all of the songs that you want to include on your day but also adds in a great selection of music on the dance floor, and was able to get everybody on their feet! He has many different lighting options as well which make the venue look very elegant and fun during dancing.

Amazing DJ and so easy to work with

DJ Gil Blake was amazing to work with and handled everything from the first phone call (while he was moving) like a professional! We hired him for a conference Welcome Reception and everyone kept asking if we were having him back at other events. He read the crowd well, kept them dancing through the night and even joined them on the dance floor a few times! He was energetic, thoughtful with his music selection, and kept the party going! When I first contacted DJ Gil Blake, he was in the middle of packing up his house and moving but he still took the time to answer questions on the phone while providing more detail on his services. He was easy to work with, flexible and was not overbearing with pre-event requests. I HIGHLY recommend him for any event you have whether it's a wedding, birthday party, conference event or you just want a DJ at a pool party! Our daughter got married 9-15-18.

My now husband and I are very much into music, so when we were scouting DJs for our wedding reception. we truly wanted to choose the best -- and we definitely did. DJ Gil Blake and his dear wife not only make an incredible team, but they are true professionals. They knew how to elevate the mood at our wedding reception, and keep the party going with a mixture of our song choices and improvisation. The dance floor was never empty because DJ Gil is a master of song mixing! Along with being two wonderful, kind, and genuine people, they also kept to our timeline to a tee, and fulfilled our every song/timeline request. We never had to worry that our timeline was going to fall behind, as they continually sought us out to make sure we stayed on track. As a bride, this definitely eased my mind; I knew everything was under control, and I could just sit back and enjoy our wedding day! They also joined in our fun at the reception, which we loved! Prior to the wedding, they also met with us several times in order to capture every customized detail, as they sincerely care about the people that hire them. We had a great time working with DJ Gil & his wife! From start to finish DJ Gil was professional and organized. I had a long list of things I wanted & did not want at our reception & he was wonderful at sticking to my requests. This included a HUGE list of Do Not Play songs!! This was very important to me & I cannot be happier with how things went! We had a great time with our friends and family!! We started the night with slower dinner party music and then finished the night with a fun dance party! He was able to go with the flow of the night & feel the crowd! DJ Gil was the best DJ we could have asked for! WOW what a perfect day! He nailed it all! He was available to answer all questions in a timely manner. He had everyone dancing, he even got on the dance floor himself and showed our guests how to do some dances like the cha cha slide :) We had some unique music requests for our ceremony and he made sure to make our vision come to life. He is amazing on the Mic and truly made the night fun ! I cannot recommend him enough ..if you get the oppurtunity to book DJ Gil..do it!

DJ Gil and his wife Jaci sure know how to put on a party. From the lighting and music to their professionalism and timeliness they ensured there was no stress on the bride. Although we did not have a wedding planner, they went above and beyond to accommodate everyone and make sure that the entire night ran smoothly. Wish we would have saved money on the chairs and food since everyone was on the dance floor dancing the entire night! The night was over but no one wanted to leave until the music ended! This was my second wedding having DJ Gil and his wife as both of my sisters used their service. They are so personable and treated everyone like family. I would confidently recommend them time and time again! -

Excellent DJ, MC, and coordinator! DJ Gil was on top of everything from the very beginning. He was very prompt in responding to any calls, texts and emails. Fantastic QUALITY service and highly recommend to anyone.On the day of my sister's wedding there were a few keys things that are important for anyone, such as being on time, professionalism, and respect. These are all things present and clearly evident. In addition, with a variety of genres of music chosen DJ Gil Blake was able to provide smooth transitions, feel the crowd, and maintain the upbeat environment. The sound was clear, not too loud. The lighting was on point and added to the atmosphere. We even requested a special song be played for a surprise dance we made for our sister, the gorgeous bride, and he was accommodating. -

Him and his wife are so sweet. They were so helpful throughtout the planning process, and made sure things ran smooth! We loved how the lighting he did matched our wedding theme. They were so helpful with everything as far as lineup, timeline of wedding, playing music from playlist I created but also taking request from guests. He also speaks Spanish which was a plus because my side of the family speak spanish and they didn’t feel left out. Words cannot describe how pleased my husband and I were with DJ Gil and Jaci services at our wedding. If you are looking for a DJ and MC for your wedding look no further, they are the DJ company for you. From the moment we met them at the studio and DJ Gil showed us weddings he has done, all the equipment he had available, and their whole presentation, we were like where do we sign, and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed in the slightest.
DJ Gil and Jaci made sure to have everything perfect that we wanted on our wedding day. He made sure the schedule we had laid out stayed within the time frames, and if we wanted something changed he made it happen. For our first dance we asked him to deliver a little bit of an introduction and he did it in such a way that made it that much more special. He also respected our wishes on songs to play or not. The music choices had everyone on the dance floor at one point or another.
My family and friends could not stop talking about how our reception was one of the best ones they have been too. I accredit that to not only our venue but a huge part to DJ Gil and Jaci. To start things out, these guys have state of the art professional equipment that made our Halloween party out of this world! I can honestly say that having DJ Gil Blake do my son's wedding was the absolute best move ever. I have attended other events & weddings and there is no comparison. His abilty to set and maintain the mood of the room throughout the entire evening was spot on! He planned out the timeline and helped us be prepared for each step from start to finish. The lighting was amazing, from the natural light coming in during the day and into nightfall, he had the place lit up beautifully. The songs chosen and the order of rolling them out was perfect. It had everyone on the dance floor. To truly describe it would take you having had to be there, but I am here to tell you that he had the place completely electrified the entire evening. Working with DJ Gil Blake was an absolute dream! Professional, responsive, friendly, and extremely talented, he helped make my sister’s wedding magical. He worked with me to produce the perfect soundtrack to a lovely evening – from my requests for a Sinatra vibe during dinner, to songs that appealed to all generations during dancing. And he got us dancing! I’ve never seen my mom dance before, but DJ Gil’s charisma and personality got everyone on the dance floor. He kept the entertainment and excitement going until the very end. I would highly recommend DJ Gil Blake for any event! -

DJ Gil Blake was amazing to work with!!! Always quick to respond, and beyond flexible. We moved the dance floor outside (the night before), but as the ceremony began it started to rain. He moved everything inside without missing a beat - cocktail hour and reception - everything as planned, no gap in music. We weren't very traditional - having unique requests, but he did as we requested, making sure our vision came to life -

DJ Gil did a great job. I was very particular about who I would get to DJ my wedding, because I have DJ'd a few weddings myself in the past so I knew what I was looking for. He worked with us to make it personal for our day. He was willing to talk on the phone several times making sure everything was gonna be just right for our wedding. He is organized and passionate with his skill. He also plays non-explicate versions of songs which is nice. I would use him again for another event and would recommend him to anyone. -

Loved DJ Gil! We never got to meet him in person and had to trust in our online and phone communication to ensure the music on our wedding day went smoothly. He had to move from the beach (ceremony) to the reception hall.
We gave him a specific list of songs to play, the order, and even extended our time with him. He was organized and delivered exactly how we wanted it. People said the dance floor was incredible - I have never seen people just dance the night away like they did at our wedding.
Thank you for making it super fun, DJ Gil and sticking to my specific list of songs :) it made it amazing! -

Service: DJ - 5 Hours, 10 Uplights
DJ Gil was fantastic from start to finish. When we were interviewing DJs he stood out for his responsiveness and patience answering all of our questions. One thing that really stood out to us was that he made an awesome effort to come visit us during Thanksgiving weekend when we were in town to visit our wedding venue. He didn't have to do that but being from out of town, we really appreciated that he wanted to get to know us even though our wedding was still a couple of months away.
A couple of months after we booked him to DJ we decided we wanted uplights. He made the process of changing the contract very easy and there were no hiccups.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding we filled out the forms that helped him prepare for the wedding. The process was super easy and we could tell he actually took time to read what we wrote and was very prepared the day of the wedding.
At the wedding DJ Gil was super in both his emcee responsibilities and the DJing. He met with us briefly just to check in on the order of everything and although we had some last minute changes, he accommodated us and didn't add any stress to the process.
Most importantly, DJ Gil put on an AMAZING party. When my wife and I were looking for DJs we were apprehensive because out wedding was going to be very racially and culturally diverse. DJ Gil played an array of music from Jamaican reggae to country western that had everyone on the floor for the majority of the night. Our guests raved to us how much fun they had and it was largely due to how DJ Gil got the party going. Just a couple of days before the wedding my family from Jamaica told me about a new reggae song that they just had to hear and I emailed him and he was able to get it and play the song, which was one of the highlights of the night!
You will be very pleased with DJ Gil! -

We had such a wonderful experience with DJ Gil and his wife! The music was great and the sound was amazing! And the lighting he did mached our wedding theme perfectly! I don't know where to start! DJ Gil was such a pleasure to work with, he took such care in making sure our night was perfect! DJ Gil took charge of the reception making sure everything was organized and everyone was in the right place at the right time. And the party... DJ Gil kept that dance floor ALIVE, I have never been to a wedding where guests hit the dance floor that fast!! DJ Gil was a blast, he even went out to the floor to teach everyone how to do the electric slide. There isn't a moment that you won't find DJ Gil or his wife smiling or dancing... They have so much fun! Thank you for the best wedding reception party I could ask for! -

DJ Gil was AMAZING! He brought so much entertainment to our wedding!! I am so glad we found him to be our DJ. Our guests were thrilled with the music selections and the energy in the room was incredible! We received so many compliments about DJ Gil the day of the wedding, and even to this day now from guests who attended. He also provided beautiful uplighting that added to the elegance and beauty of our venue. The dance floor was surrounded by multi-colored lighting that set the tone for an awesome dance party! LOVED HIM!!! He was absolutely amazing. He played every song I requested for the ceremony perfectly. He played all of the songs we wrote down plus some extras. He announced people perfectly, and even came to us before the ceremony and made sure he was pronouncing everyone's names correctly. I could not have asked for a better DJ. Dj Gil did the most amazing job DJ-ing at our wedding and was the epitome of the “perfect DJ.” He had both our Grandma’s (77 and 80 years old) dancing right along side our friends (26 years old) for the entire night. He seamlessly transitioned between new, popular music and 70’s and 80’s hits to keep the whole crowd on their feet. He also did a wonderful job DJ-ing through dinner keeping the music light and fun so that folks could enjoy conversation as well as get up and dance between courses. He made our night and our guests’ night fun and memorable with every person telling us it was the “best wedding ever” at the end of the evening. We would highly recommend DJ Gil--he and his wife were true professionals who were extremely in tune with the pace and flow of the wedding from start to finish. -

DJ Blake was amazing!! The best DJ I've hired for an event. He gets back to you immediately and is very professional. He can get any music you want and has a huge selection! He truly made our wedding day so special and was even flexible when there were ceremony changes due to the weather. DJ Blake and his wife were so nice on the wedding day and I would definitely have them host an event for us again! They had everyone out on the dance floor! My wife and I had an unusual situation where we found out we could finance the wedding 4 months before the wedding day. As a result we had to fly into turbo planning mode and do in 4 months what many couple do in 12 or more. DJ Gil was key in helping us accomplish this. Gil was professional, prompt, polite, and accommodating. When we went to him to hire him for the wedding (based on raving reviews from many friends), we only had a date. Gil was very accommodating, helping us to get the details set up with him and then just get him the rest of the information later on. Gil even suggested an officiant, that we ended up using, and it made our wedding memorable. Gil took time to learn what type of music we liked, how we wanted our reception to go, and he meticulously prepared every detail on his end, so that we had no hiccups whatsoever.
We had attendees from 1 years old to 84 and everyone was impressed with our wedding. My wife's 80 year old Grandmother said it was the most fun wedding she had ever been to, and she has been to quite a few in her 80 years of life. This compliment was very much an attribute to Gil's services.
There are two major DJ's in town that battle for the "top spot" for DJ's. Gil is one and the other, whose name I won't mention, is actually a family member. I decided to go with Gil, despite the other DJ being family, and I did NOT regret my decision. You will not be disappointed with the services Gil provides. -

Just wow. Not only was Gil a delight to work with, he made our wedding reception the best dance party we could have ever wanted. For days people have been calling and texting to tell us how much fun they had dancing the night away. Gil was flexible with our last minute weather related changes. He played all the songs we requested and kept the party going with great music selections. I can't recommend him enough! Also he does great up lighting and provided the microphone and sound for our ceremony. Awesome job and thank you so much! -

We were so lucky to have DJ Gil being the DJ at our wedding at Bali Hi on Captiva island. Looking back to the planning of the wedding I want to say that booking him was the best decision in the whole process. He was highly professional and at every time very responsive and extremely flexible. He arrived way ahead of time to set up his DJ booth which was really nicely decorated and which he illuminated in our wedding colors as a lovely surprise for us. My wife said it transformed the whole space. From the beginning on he read the crowd like I haven't seen at any wedding before, he made sure all our favorites were played and was also responsive to guest wishes without ever interrupting the flow. From beginning to the end the dance floor was packed and everyone had a blast. For group dances he even joined the crowd and showed my German friends in the wedding how to dance the steps. Just amazing!
He also did a wonderful job with the announcements and made sure that everybody knew what was happening without ever creating the feeling of having an interruption. It just completely showed his whole DJ style - extremely professional, proactive and outgoing but never too pushy - just the perfect combination for every event.
We received so many compliments for our wonderful DJ - the event was over a month ago and it is the first thing people point out as a highlight of our wedding. He went above and beyond with his wife to make sure that we had the time of our life. And he even acted as our cab driver at the end of the night to drive us around the corner into our hotel without any questions asked!
We would book him again for no matter what event or party!

D J Gill exceeded expectations. Almost every person I asked said it was the best, most fun, wedding they had ever been to. Gil kept things on track (schedule wise), was technically superior, and great at responding to personal request.
This made everyone feel at home and, as a result, there wasn't a wall flower in the whole bunch.
My entire family strongly recommends D J Gil Blake to anyone looking for a flaweless good time. -

DJ Gil Blake was professional as he got people moving on the dance floor. He adapted to the wedding style of my wedding. His playlist of music was based perfectly on the small sample I had provided. We had a mix of people that I would think would be difficult to find music that everyone would dance to. But, he did it! In order to allow us more time to dance, he provided excellent suggestions, such as having the cake cutting and bouquet toss together instead of a ½ hour a part, when we were running behind on our timeline (my fault!). When he realized many guests didn’t know the Cha Cha Slide, he came out on the dance floor to teach us, which I just loved. He definitely kept the party going, and our friends and family had the best time. We are still talking about how much fun we had dancing. -

DJ Gil did a beautiful job with the lighting and music at my wedding. It looked like a fairy tale as requested... DJ Gil also was able to get people dancing. Since my wedding was a fusion wedding, DJ Gil was able to play a mix of American and Bollywood music. He also played everything on my list of requested songs.
