Amazing experience!

My husband and I were blown away by how many people danced at our wedding, and we have DJ Ellis to thank for that! We left most of the reception music up to them and they were able to create the best vibe for the reception. We got lots of compliments from the guests on this! Also, they were so organized and helped make the planning process and ceremony run so smooth. They were very professional and definitely knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend DJ Gellis to anyone planning a wedding!

Beyond amazing DJ!

I was looking for a DJ that just made announcements and played music! After having several phone consultations with other DJ’s that ended up being way above our budget, I found DJ Gellis! His excellent 5 star reviews are what prompted me to contact him for our wedding! I had worked with DJ Gellis on a wedding I was the photographer for, so seeing him first hand at work was a perfect sneak poem into why we hired him! He is prompt, professional and has a great friendly personality! He and his wife initial met with us prior to the wedding to go over last minute details and the timeline for the day! The day of the wedding he was there setting up and the music was perfect! I highly recommend DJ Gellis for your wedding or event!

Magical experience!

Dj gellis is a must have!

I can’t recommend DJ Gellis enough!! They were so flexible and easy to work with and made our wedding so much fun! We were able to help shape our playlists with their easy to use online tool and he knew the perfect songs to play to get people up and dancing!

Everything was perfect!

DJ Gellis and his team were so great throughout the whole process. They answered my emails when I would get in a planning panic early on but also gave me space until it was time to touch base. Their online tool is easy to use and our meeting with Cheri to finalize everything was great. They know exactly what they need and what to ask. DJ Gellis was a great MC and everything flowed smoothly. I think he also stopped impromptu song numbers? I would definitely recommend!

Best dj team in town

We were over the moon to have found Gary and Cheri to be our DJ for our wedding. They are a powerhouse of professionalism, genuine interest, and overall they made this process seamless. They were reassuring that once we gave them the small details, they would take over the rest and boy did they! I would not walk, but RUN to get DJ Gellis to be at your next event!

Amazing Job! Helped Make My Wedding Perfect.

DJ Gellis and his wife Cheri made this process so easy and simple. Cheri was great in helping get everything organized and the online system they used to make the playlist for the wedding and reception made everything so simple. I love that they included in the package the rehearsal time to make sure everything was perfect the day of. And they really stepped up and are worth every penny to make your wedding perfect too. You don't need to look anywhere else hire DJ Gellis!

DJ Gellis is who you want at your wedding!!!

I have been a guest at two weddings where DJ Gellis was the DJ - and that alone was enough for me to want him at my own! He was amazing to work with and man did we dance!!! He did a wonderful job of keeping the vibe going and keeping people on the dance floor. DJ Gellis did my ceremony music as well as reception music and lighting, and we couldn’t have been happier! Great value, great playlist

DJ Gellis and team provided the perfect family-friendly playlist for us! Guests of all ages had an awesome time dancing. They helped orchestrate music for a somewhat non-traditional entrances and were incredibly attentive to our wish around song selection. Their system is incredibly easy to use and was a great help in deciding the vibe of our reception. Would absolutely recommend!

We were referred to DJ Gellis by the owners of our wedding venue as he had DJ'd many weddings with them in the past. We were super glad that we took them up on their recommendation as DJ Gellis was super easy to work with, had great instincts for putting together the playlists, and kept the party going all night! He and his business partner have an easy to use platform that allows you to add and search for commonly used songs, making the process very smooth! Cheri and Gary and their daughter were totally amazing and are very sweet people. They did my wedding reception and I’m so happy I chose them. I got to meet with them before the rehearsal and go over everything before the big day. Super professional and had a great website that made it easy for me to pick and choose my songs. I danced all night!

Flexible, accommodating, fun MC

DJ Gellis makes it easy to select songs for your event, from do not play to must play. He'll meet with you ahead of time to understand what you want as far as the "flow," and will do what it takes to find songs that may not already be in his library. We were still making adjustments to songs for our special dances as well special requests (had a couple friends' birthdays to acknowledge) just a couple of days before, and he was super responsive. He kept our reception rolling. Highly recommend!

DJ Gellis Rocks!

DJ Gellis (and Team) are super communicative, flexible, and really worked to understand the type of music AND timing of music throughout our wedding ceremony. End result was a bumping dance floor, perfectly timed songs, and feedback from multiple friends and family about what a great time "our DJ" helped to create. DJ Gellis was so much fun!
They walked us through every step of the process preparing for our wedding day. We had no idea what we were doing and luckily, they had lots of experience and their online song selections were such a nice easy way to do things. Great to work with on a last minute booking!

Gary was professional, funny, and flexible. He was available short notice for our wedding, booked a week before the event. He was also great in helping us figure out a timeline for our wedding when we had no idea what to do. All the music was played on time for the ceremony as well, and he was able to splice up a song for one that was running too short. I really appreciated working with him, and I recommend you do too.

Awesome playlist

We got married during Covid-19 and were only able to have 50 ppl they made our experience so stress free. Even with all the changes I kept having to make due to the corona virus. The music was also great everyone at our wedding enjoyed themselves and I kept hearing guests talk about how great the playlist was.

The best experience!

DJ Gellis and his wife were fantastic!! He did an amazing job during the ceremony, with the music and sounds! We were so impressed with him coming to our rehearsal and making sure everything was set and organized for us to have the best experience. Great communication, super friendly, professional and affordable, and played the perfect music! It was clear he was able to read the room and play the songs that people wanted. DJ Gellis made wedding planning a breeze! I also really appreciated how well he was able to read the vibe of the reception and using the timeline I gave him in advance - keep the reception moving along. I also got a lot of compliments on the music selections and people had a lot of fun dancing. What really set DJ Gellis apart from all of the other djs I spoke with and something huge he DID deliver on was simply being my DJ. He wasn't on the microphone more than he had to be and when he was - he was very professional and clear with the information so everyone (including the groom and myself) knew what to expect when - it was fantastic! Made my night and my 2 year olds

These guys are sp amzing. Being a flexible bride i didnt have much in the way of a playlist i was requesting and these guys made the night so successful and my aunt even commentwd on our great taste in music. The dj has such a great personality and didnt mind when my 2 year old took over the mike at toasts and basically drenched it i juice slobber. They made my evening perfect all the way down to my last solo dance with my husband after all my guests had left. Would recommend them highly to everyone.

DJ Gellis was absolutely fabulous! From the first time we contacted him to the end of our wedding this DJ was amazing! The DJ met up with us about a week prior to the wedding so we could go over details, then he came to our wedding venue during the rehearsal so we could get out some kinks with the music and make sure everything was perfect. The song myself and the bridesmaids walked down the aisle was non traditional, and could only be found via a YouTube link; I was worried this would be an issue and we wouldn't be able to use it, but they figured it out and found us the song and everything went perfectly! The night of my wedding, the dance floor was an absolute blast. We gave them a list of preferred songs, and then told him to go with the flow and play whatever he thought would fit the mood, and he did AMAZING! So many people were on the dance floor, including all my wedding attendants, parents, aunts, uncles. Everyone had a great time! A big hank you DJ Gellis and his family, you guys were wonderful.

They made the whole process as smooth and stress free as possible. Even though they weren't able to be at the rehersal due to another event they still made the music and flow go off without a hitch as if they had been there! They helped with the timeline which I was stressing about and were very friendly and personable before the wedding as well as during. We received alot of compliments from our guests!!!

I was so very please with Gary and Sherry. The music is everything to keep a party alive. There system was easy to use and extremely helpful when picking our song from playlist. I highly recommend Gary and would not use any other DJ.

We had such an amazing time at our wedding. Gary was able to read the crowd so well, getting many of our guests up and dancing. He listened to the theme I wanted for the wedding and has an amazing website to work with. I couldn’t imagine a better DJ for my wedding. Plus you cannot beat the price! DJ Gellis was a fantastic addition to our wedding and reception. While my husband and I shopped around, we contacted multiple DJ's -most of which were over $1000+, and we were not impressed with how they did their music selection/organization websites. Then we across DJ Gellis. We were able to meet quickly and they (husband and wife team) were very professional and fun. Their website for music selections was easy and best of all they were reasonably priced and had flexible hour rates, we booked them on the spot. The music they played during the ceremony and the reception was what I wanted. There were even a few hiccups during the reception but they worked around it and improvised. The music was great and had me dancing even when I was taken away from the dance floor. I would highly recommend this DJ for any event!

They were awesome! Their online planning tool helped us organize our wedding day. They were very responsive and available when we had questions. You can definitely tell they have been doing this for a while. They had a huge selection of music and were able to get all of the special request songs we wanted. They let you select the entire playlist yourself, or you get them started with the music you like, and they can fill in more. They are newer to Spokane, but he's been doing this for years in Atlanta, and it shows! I don't have a single negative thing to say.

The wedding day, they were on time, setup all of their equipment. He did a great job of moving the day along as the MC. He didn't talk too much, but keep the flow moving well. We gave them rein to adjust the songs based on our guests reactions to the songs. Our guests loved every song. The dance floor was pack the entire night. I cannot stress how much I would recommend them.

My wife tasked me with finding the DJ for our wedding and to be completely honest, I had absoaltely no clue what I was looking for. I interviewed the biggest names in the area and the most expensive and was disappointed with all of them. They were too pushy and needed to know every little detail. If you're planning a wedding for the first time, you definitely don't know every detail. When we initially spoke with GJ Gellis they were down to earth and really seemed like they cared about making sure everything went smoothly. They would help with every aspect of the planning and would ensure that the day was perfect.

They were right!

What made me decide to go with DJ Gellis was because they made everything feel easy. There was no pressure, I didn't have to have everything perfectly planned out and I didn't have to stress out about their service. I was confident that they where professionals and everything would go over smoothy.

Everything went perfectly! I couldn't be more happy with their service!

If you're looking for a professional DJ that will help you with everything from planning to preforming, hire them.

We loved working with this team! They were always professional, flexible with my schedule, and helpful in figuring out details before our big day. They are very friendly and personable. Their online account was helpful is planning our wedding timeline. We were able to upload songs for each part of the event from when guests were arriving to the final song of the night! They made sure all of the details were figured out so that on the day of, there were no questions or miss communications. The whole evening went perfectly and they followed through with every part of what we had decided on. I did not have to worry about a thing on the day of. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and fun DJ/MC for their event!

Dj Gellis did my sisters wedding and he was wonderful and inexpensive. So I got all his information to do mine. He was on time and ready to go. He had a family emergency in a different state that he had to go to and couldnt be there for my rehearsal and he called me, apologized and he let me know not to expect him for the rehearsal but his plane would be landing well before the wedding. The day of the wedding was perfect. He, my photographer, John from westwood studio, and my officiant talked and everything went smoothly. I was worried that because he was not there for the rehearsal things would get messed up but I was so happy and excited to see that everything was spot on. He is definitely a professional that I recommend.

Best DJ ever. Period. And I've been to a lot of events. Kept the event organized with MC skills, played all the music we love and added new that fit the same vibe. We were so lucky to have found DJ Gellis through a referral! Cheri and Gary were a pleasure to work with. They were very flexible, from our unique consultations due to us being out of state, to the time frame on the night of the event. Wow! So glad we chose DJ Gellis for our event. Gary and his wife Cheri were there for us through the whole process: planning, rehearsal, ceremony and reception. It was clear that they cared for us and wanted to make our day special, instead of focusing on their paycheck. We didn't have to worry about getting nickeled and dimed with them; it was one flat price, no fees. The fact that Cheri also tries to help coordinate things the day of the wedding was a huge bonus. My initial concern was the quality of their equipment due to their low prices, but this was not an issue whatsoever. There was no feedback with the microphones, music was clear and they know how to improvise. Without question, the best bang for your buck.

My Husband and I were so impressed by DJ Gellis and his team. They did an AMAZING job and kept the dance floor going all night. We had such a great experience with Gary (the DJ) and his wife Cheri at our wedding. Not only was the music perfect at our wedding, Gary & Cheri helped us create a schedule for our big day! These two were always so nice, accommodating and flexible. They were super responsive via email and had a music portal where we could enter specific songs (or even playlists if you'd prefer) to play during the wedding. We would recommend DJGellis to anyone looking for a DJ. If we ever throw a party where we need music again, they will be the first people we call.

Absolutely a great experience. They helped us in so many ways from suggestions on music to helping us figure out timing for our event. They were so flexible with us. Such great people! They even drove down to our rehearsal to make sure everything was just right.

Gary and Cheri are awesome. It was so nice working with them. Me and my husband were hesitant at first to hire a DJ for our wedding due to the high costs they ask for. But when somebody on facebook mentioned his name, i contacted them and i was glad that their service was at a cost we can afford. We hired them and it was worth it. They are easy to work with, very professional, very flexible, very organized and personable. Did a great job on our wedding, songs that we picked were played, i like how they stressed out that they refrain from playing songs with foul words which we really appreciated. I love how flexible they are during the reception, they allowed on the spot changes without hesitation. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

We absolutely loved working with Dj Gellis. They were easy to communicate with and were willing to help. They had an online website where you could easily pick out songs for special dances and add songs to your wedding playlist. They helped keep the flow of the wedding going and they worked great with our wedding coordinator and venue. We wouldn't of picked a different Dj to work with! Him and his wife were wonderful people to work with and they helped make our special day perfect.

DJ Gellis was so nice, easy to work with, and professional! His wife did a great job with keeping the flow of my wedding on track. Their prices are UNBEATABLE! They even came to my rehearsal at no extra cost so that they would know where to set up and how long it would take to get there. They were always prepared, super reliable, and I would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends in the future!

DJ Gellis was perfect for our wedding! He was personable, flexible, and affordable. He used a great organizational system to get all the specs for the wedding, met with us more than once to nail down details, and attended the rehearsal. At the wedding, all songs were played on target, he kept our timeline moving, and he showed up early to have music play prior to the wedding. We definitely recommend his services.
