By far the best money spent on our wedding

We can't thank Frank enough for the work he did leading up to and during our wedding. He is truly a professional who spends the time to find out what kind of wedding atmosphere you want him to create and he delivers that and more. We asked Frank to do our ceremony as well as the reception and he was the behind the scene force that made our wedding day go off without a hitch (even reacting to unexpected rain for an outdoor ceremony). Leading up to the ceremony Frank's advice and expertise was invaluable to helping my wife and I make decisions and plan the whole day. I called him on several occasions to get his thoughts on everything from lighting, to the timeline of the day, he is truly an expert who's advice alone is worth hiring not to mention his skills as a DJ. We also used Frank to do the lighting at our reception and we highly recommend that you do the same as he was able to control the mood of the room from warm and cozy to fun and festive when he needed to. Frank is more than just a DJ who knows how to play music to set the right mood for each part of your reception, he is truly a master of ceremonies who can entertain your guests, feel the energy of the room, and manage the flow of your wedding/reception so you don't have to. It really was a relief to have Frank managing the reception and its timeline so we could just enjoy our day and our guests. Frank's ability to speak Spanish also helped our guests to feel considered as half of them spoke Spanish as a primary language. He was able to make announcements and entertain our guests in both languages and it made the whole night go smoother. Finally, if the above description didn't convince you hopefully this will. After the party was over and most everyone had left the reception area to line up for the send off, I went back into the hall to grab my jacket and I saw Frank stop putting away his equipment (the last thing between him and going home for the night) in order to help my wife's grandmother out of her seat and to carefully take her arm and walk with her outside so she could see the sendoff. I am confident Frank didn't know I could see him and that he helped her because he cares about people and he cares to do everything he can to ensure you and all of your guests have the best night you can.

Frank is the best!

Frank DJ’d for our wedding celebration this past weekend. He made sure everything went smoothly. He played every song we had requested and even some from the crowd! He always kept the party going and went above and beyond even making sure my husband and I got something to eat! We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Excellent DJ

DJ Frank Young performed an excellent set for our wedding in Columbia, MD. He was attentive to our music tastes, and it was great being able to send him a Spotify playlist with our favorite songs. We loved how he was interested in our music tastes. During the reception, DJ Frank Young emceed every part as planned and had everyone dancing through the night. He played to everyone's liking, including a fun mix of Latin music for the groom's family. His professional demeanor, neat set up, and emceeing fit perfectly with our wedding. We couldn't have had a better DJ. Thanks Frank!

Made our wedding unforgettable!!!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with DJ Frank!! From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly unforgettable. Awesome DJ

Terrific wedding DJ

We got married this past October with Frank as our DJ. He was easy to communicate with and very professional throughout the planning process and really put our minds at ease. My wife wanted to include a lot of her favorite songs in our playlist and he made it happen on the day. At the wedding he was on point with the timelime and music selection and was generally classy and helpful in little ways throughout the event. We highly recommend DJ Frank!

August 2023 Wedding

We loved having Frank as such a big part of our special day!! He was very responsive to anything we requested or had questions about, he was great at announcing the wedding party and keeping the timeline of the day, and he did an amazing job at reading the room and communicating with us if he suggested a change in the lineup. Frank was easy to communicate within the months leading up to the wedding and did a great job at providing a fun environment for all! Frank is the best!

Everyone raved about the DJ!

We got married in Sept and DJ Frank really made our reception. We asked him to do a mix of American and ethnic music, and he did an amazing job of intertwining the two to keep the energy up and make the whole night fun. Everyone was on the dance floor ALL NIGHT - just like we wanted! He also gave us an amazing suggestion to play a fun game with the photographer and the guests to speed up taking pictures with each table, and all of the guests loved it. We got so many complements on the DJ and music from everyone - we would definitely hire DJ Frank again!

Excellent Wedding Professional

Frank did our wedding at Anchor Inn in March and was outstanding. He handled the reception, all the announcements and the formalities perfectly. Everyone had a great time and we totally were able to enjoy ourselves. Frank made it easy to just plan the event and then let him handle the day of details.

Best DJ we've ever seen!

Choosing Frank Young to be our DJ was one of the best things we did for our wedding. He is personable, professional, fun, and knows how to work the timing of a wedding ceremony and reception! The music was timed absolutely perfectly and he honored our requests of "must not plays." The dance floor was busy all night long, undoubtedly from how Frank worked the music together. Songs flowed thematically together and kept people excited. He even gave us a crash course in cake cutting when it was clear we hadn't prepared! Frank Young really knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

Outstanding

We got married June 20th. Trying to plan a wedding during Covid 19 seemed nearly impossible and with things changing daily, Frank was flexible and understanding. He always stayed positive and help to keep me calm and focused on the most important part of the day , getting married. With the grace of God we were still able to have a normal wedding with some modifications. Frank played the perfect music for a perfect night! All of our guest had an amazing time. Thank You Frank for your flexibility and encouragement through this crazy time. You helped make our wedding absolutely perfect!! I would highly recommend Frank Young for any event you need a DJ!

Best dj in texas

On my wedding day I had lots of chaos from the groom not having a tuxedo, late wedding court members, to the ceremony performer running late. Frank saved the day and is worth the investment in a professional DJ. Frank played music while we waited for the performer and even tried calling him to follow up on my behalf. He played all the music I requested and kept the wedding going. He followed my schedule and was a fantastic wedding coordinator. I can not thank Frank enough for making my wedding day a success! Frank goes above and beyond and I can’t recommend him enough!

Frank is amazing!

Very responsive to text and phone calls! Works around your schedule and is very easy to work with. Frank was the only vendor I knew he had everything handled and I didn’t have to worry about deadlines with. When planning a wedding just about everything is stressful but my experience with him was just very easy! Very thankful for everything he did!

We thoroughly enjoyed having Frank as our DJ for our wedding. He was easy to work with and was up for anything we wanted. Amazing DJ!!

Frank was an amazing DJ at our wedding this past Saturday! He’s great with reading the crowd and playing music in a specific order. Our wedding was a good mix of today’s top hits/country music and Spanish cumbias/merengues. We had so much fun! Our entire family woke up sore on Sunday from dancing soooooo much!! It was such a fun celebration! I would definitely recommend Frank as a DJ! He worked so well with our coordinator as well. It was such an awesome duo. He’s very professional, fun and smooth with transitions!! HIRE FRANK YOUNG AS YOUR DJ! You will not regret it!

DJ Frank was amazing!! He was so easy to work with and made our day such a fun party! So many people still comment to us about what a great time it was and I know that the music DJ Frank played and how he ran the night as our DJ had a big part in that. He played music for our cocktail hour, different styles for our dinner time and really got the party going during the reception. We sent him a list of songs we requested to have played and we went off that to add so many more fun reception songs. He was such a great addition to the day. He worked with us to provide the materials needed for the ceremony as well. I had two friends playing guitar and singing and he set up their equipemt that was needed. We would recommend DJ Frank to everyone! He made the night such a fun time for everyone!

If you are looking for a DJ, look no further than DJ Frank Young. His level of professionalism is top tier. Not only is Frank a DJ, he is also an MC, Day of Wedding Helper, and just makes sure that the whole event runs smoothly. His experience is what makes it, with Frank you do not have to worry about what he will be like because He IS very attentive, funny, smart, and a go getter who knows how to keep the dance floor atmosphere alive. Frank did a great job at our wedding. He arrived early to set up all of his equipment, was very organized, approachable, and exceeded our expectations.

The whole process with Frank is easy and enjoyable. He met with us beforehand to go over the typical day-of details. He promptly available for any questions that we had throughout the whole process and he also tailored the wedding playlist to fit your every need. Our first dance, mother son, and brother sister dances were faded out perfectly.

He had everyone dancing all night long. Everyone said that they had a great time at our wedding and I mean EVERYONE. I would choose to use DJ Frank Young for any event in the future and I highly recommend him.

During wedding planning, my husband took charge of selecting a few vendors and choosing the entertainment was one of them. He did a ton of research, and finally decided that we should meet with Frank. (We decided in the parking lot - immediately after the meeting - that we had to book him.) He was extremely fun, professional, and organized. We didn't expect our guests to dance very much, but they actually ended up being on the dance floor the entire night - all because of Frank!

Frank's service was nothing but the best! He was extremely professional before and during the wedding. I just filled out his document and told him the names of our wedding party and the songs we needed him to play, he took care of EVERYTHING else. It was nice to be able to sit back and let him do his job. He was not just a DJ that presses the play button on songs, He was very vocal and had a microphone presence that moved the reception along. I would recommend Frank to any and everyone. I did not have to worry about anything the entire day. Frank is more than capable of handling anything. He also works very well with all the other venders and wedding coordinators you have.

Frank Young did an outstanding job at our wedding! We did not have a wedding coordinator so he ran the show and it was PERFECT! He listened to our ideas and came up with awesome ideas of his own to make our day even more special than it already was. Frank was awesome and a lot of fun. I was referred to Frank by my sister whos wedding he did about a year and a half earlier. He met with us before hand and talked us through what we wanted at our wedding. My wife and I had no clue about what we wanted, and Frank helped us with our timeline and some song suggestions amongst other things. We ended up needing him to help and stay an extra hour to which he was very flexible with. Frank was an awesome dude and would highly recommend for another event.

This guy is awesome! From the moment we contacted him to the last minute that we ended our wedding celebration he was immensely professional. We told him what type of songs and how many we wanted and he absolutely accommodated us. The schedule that my wife put together he used and made sure everything was taken care of. Even our last dance was perfect to the moment that we left the venue. He was flexible with our time and made sure we were never stressed. Frank is one of the most personal yet professional DJs I've ever come to know. He was so on point with the itinerary of the wedding and was so flexible if changes were needed. I cannot offer high enough praise for our experience with Frank. Our wedding took place in a large backyard a pretty long ways from the house, but Frank coordinated everything seamlessly; even when we went without electricity for a few minutes, he ensured that no one even noticed (myself, included). He was professional, friendly, a great listener, and had no problem coming up with some of the quirkier songs we requested, ensuring that the whole experience was lively yet clean. And his selections? Fantastic! My husband is Hispanic, while I come from a family of redheads who cannot understand a lick of spanish; still, he managed to draw in enough "old and new" songs from both cultures to enthrall EVERYONE, young and old. I cannot recommend Frank highly enough. If the price is your concern, trust me: he is MORE than worth every penny.

Frank is the nicest, most professional DJ I've ever had the pleasure of meeting!! He was my last minute savior because my original DJ cancelled on me one month prior to my wedding and I was panicking! Frank saved the day!! He was so origanized and on the ball with everything! We did a special customized dance that he created all the music for and then he played every song we selected to a "t"! There seriously aren't enough words to describe how amazing he was....I could not have asked for a better DJ! You would be doing yourself a disservice by using anyone besides Frank for your DJ services!

Frank was the DJ at our wedding and he is wonderful!! He met with us a week before our wedding to go over details. He did such a wonderful job of playing the music we love and making sure that everyone was on the dance floor having a good time! He helped to make sure that the timeline ran smoothly throughout the evening- he even accommodated us to have speakers on the patio during our fireworks show so we could hear "Rocketman" playing in the background! I had a really long aisle at an outdoor ceremony site and he set up speakers down the aisle so that I could hear the strings playing- music is a crucial component to a wedding and we are SO happy we chose Frank as our DJ!! We HIGHLY recommend him!!

Frank was amazing! He made our reception stress free! We were worried about having someone bilingual at our reception, Frank did a great job! Not only did he do a great job handling the Spanish/English translations but he also did a fantastic job with the music playlist. He knew the perfect time to play each genre of music which kept the party going! I highly recommend DJ Frank Young no only for his professionalism but also for his experience because that is what makes him a great DJ.

Frank is an amazing DJ. Everything at my wedding was perfect! He was also the MC and did a great job of making sure the flow of the reception was smooth. Frank communicated with us when it was time for the next event, so we didn't have to worry about anything!

We didn't have a play list and asked Frank to pick the music. His music selection was perfect. I have heard so many compliments about Frank from my guests. I highly recommend him as a DJ for any event.

I can not begin to say enough amazing things about Frank!! He did such a great job with reading the crowd and playing the best music at the most perfect times! He also was so awesome at making announcements throughout the reception reminding people about the guest book & photobooth to ensure everyone was able to take advantage. Frank was great at playing both classic wedding songs that would get everyone on the dance floor as well as newer music that everyone could sing along with. He kept the reception moving smoothly and always had the best attitude. Even prior to the reception, he was very responsive and so kind! I'd give him my highest recommendation for any wedding (or event!) period! He's the best!!

I am the mother of the bride and i have to say Frank Young was fantastic! I have not danced at any events in the past 25 years...until now. I had a ball!. Everyone danced all night on every song. I was very impressed with Frank, working with my daughter and her new husband on every step of the way. Everyone at the wedding loved him. I danced all night after the first couple dances, which was not your ordinary song for the first dance and it fit my daughter's personally to a tee. Thank you Frank for a fantastic job, and a great time that i will never forget as long as i live. When my son gets married some day i will be calling you again!

We love music, but when it came to choosing music for our wedding, we ran out of time. We only provided Frank Young our entrance, first dance, bouquet/garter toss and last songs. He chose the rest, and he did a great job. We received numerous compliments on how great our music and DJ were. I couldn't have imagined it any better!

Frank Young is the perfect DJ!! He is extremely professional and I loved how thorough and meticulous he was with the details of our reception. He kept us on schedule and made sure that we hit all the major events that we had planned, which was especially important since we were on a very tight schedule. He was very subtle in letting us know when it was time to move to the next event, and as soon as we started the reception I was able to let loose and enjoy myself, knowing Frank would handle things for us. And the music was great- he played our suggestions at just the right times! Overall, this was the perfect DJ experience, and I will definitely hire Frank again the next time I need a DJ!!

Frank Young is truly an amazing DJ. He communicated with me every step of the way regarding the music and schedule desired. At the wedding, Frank played the perfect music, for the cocktail hour, dinner, and then the dancing! My daughter, the bride, had requested an eclectic selection of music and Frank exceeded our expectations. He also acted as the MC and followed our schedule, but was very flexible when needed. I heard many compliments from the guests about Frank and I would recommend him as a DJ for any celebration.

In my humble opinion, finding the right DJ for my wedding had to be one of the most difficult parts of planning. After reading the rave reviews on Wedding Wire regarding Frank Young, I decided to contact him. Within an hour of my email inquiry, I received a phone call from Frank to set up a time to discuss my wedding. During this conversation, Frank answered all of my questions and took the time to inform me about his business and the responsibilities of a wedding DJ. Because he was the first DJ I personally contacted, he allowed me the time to interview others. He even provided me with personal references (all of which spoke very highly of him). During this time he was gracious, understanding, and responsive to all of my lingering questions. After about a month of pointless interviews, I met up with Frank and knew he would be great for my event. He was professional, personable, easy to contact and work with, tentative, and accommodating. Based off of this experience (excluding my wedding) a friend of mine booked him for their wedding in June!
The wedding itself was a blast. Before our introduction to the reception Frank made sure all of the wedding party was in order and that he pronounced all of our names correctly. During the reception my brother dropped a glass on the dance floor. Frank immediately stopped the music so that the floor was cleared and no one stepped on broken glass. My guests enjoyed the music played and danced the whole night.. there was never a dull moment!

I would HIGHLY recommend Frank Young for your event. He is to be commended on a job well done.

Frank Young was excellent at our wedding and we would strongly recommend him to anyone.

He was everything we needed from a DJ - organised, attentive, approachable, flexible and reliable. He showed initiative and coordinated his schedules with the Photographer and Wedding Coordinator on the day, he offered advice and suggestions when needed and he was willing to stay an extra hour with only 20 minutes notice.

Frank was also a very good M.C. and he even managed to download and play songs at a moment's notice.

We highly recommend Frank Young.

In all serious, words cannot describe how wonderful DJ Frank Young was. From the time I booked with him, until the end of our reception, he was there to guide me through whatever questions or concerns I had. The title DJ truly does not sum up the role that Frank Young played at my wedding...he went above any expectations we even had! Now lets get to the RECEPTION/DANCE PARTY...AMAZING!!! This was the second marriage for my husband and I, not to mention our last :) , and we wanted to make sure that EVERYONE had the best time, and that it wasMORE than memorable. Frank made sure of this and truly set the tone for a fabulously fun time and provided the best dance play list ALL NIGHT LONG!!! I know I keep writing in caps, but I am seriously trying to communicate just how AWESOME DJ Frank Young is! We are in our early 40's but still like to dance and have a great time! The best part was seeing all of the teens tearing up the dance floor with the rest of us. Not only teens, but the older folks as well (50-60's). I mean EVERYONE was out on the dance floor, not just for a couple of songs, but for hours. Our wedding guests danced so much that we had to extend Frank for another 2 hours...best decision ever!!! Months later we are still having people contact us and tell us how they had the best time at our wedding. For the amount of time, energy, and straight up fun DJ Frank Young provides, he is worth every penny and then some. I am looking for another reason to throw a party just so I can have him out again for another AMAZING dance party!!!!

We found DJ Frank on this website and everyone was correct. He deserves 5 stars all the way! We met with him before the wedding and he was helpful with what we needed to think about for our reception. He played all the songs that we asked for throughout the night and even had any additional songs we requested during the party! I would recommend him to any bride looking for a quality DJ! Frank provided the highest quality that I wanted - he was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. He met with my fiance and I multiple times, including the week before my wedding to review all details even though I was sick with a terrible sinus infection. His services on the wedding day were flawless - even when at the last minute I remembered that I forgot to add a song to my playlist. He quickly located the song and had it playing in no time. Frank was the DJ for our August wedding and I have nothing but the best things to say about my experience with him! It meant so much to me as a bride during my wedding planning that I could always count on him to respond to my emails/calls and constantly reassure me that he understood my vision and was dedicated to carrying it out. He even called me on the wedding day just to tell me that he had everything under control and to not worry about it! I really appreciated that personal touch he brought to his service.

As for the actual event, Frank did an excellent job as basically an "MC" and kept the evening flowing and fun. I got so many compliments from guests and we had a packed dance floor for most of the night! Having a great DJ was one of my highest priorities when it came to our reception, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better job to be done! If you are looking for a trustworthy, cool, professional DJ I would highly recommend Frank!

Frank from the moment we first talked with Frank he wrapped us in a level of comfort no other DJ had provided. He was very knowledgeable in moments we had songs on our mind but could not quite not place the name. During the wedding he did a great job to be set up and ready for action with very little help from us. If there was something needed he always seemed to be on top of it (even non music related items) before it became an issue. One thing I remember so well was how he took the time to make sure our exit was perfect. He helped us gather all our belongings and took them out to the limo. Frank you truly were a big part of our perfect wedding and we can not thank you enough. Keep up the great work.

Frank did an amazing job at our Wedding!!! It was very clear that he knew what he was doing and was in control at all times. We worked with him ahead of time on how we wanted the Rehearsal to flow and he made sure to keep us on schedule so we did not have to worry about it. He was very good at giving us a heads up when the next event was to happen. He also did an excellent job at the music selections and playing the songs we requested. As soon as the music started, the dance floor was full and stayed full until the last song. We had a blast and would recommend Frank to anyone!!!!

Frank was the DJ for our wedding in May. Everything was seamless! He helped everything to flow, from introductions to cake cutting, to toasts and dances. We met with him and talked about wanting an elegant and yet fun wedding, and we sent him a list of songs we loved. We loved the music, had a blast, and we are so happy that we chose Frank. The dance floor was packed with all of my friends and family and my parents' older friends, alike. Our friends loved doing the wobble and more, and my 89 year old grandma was up dancing cha cha! Frank Young was the DJ for our wedding 2 weeks ago, and he was awesome!! We were so lucky to find him! When my husband and I first met him, he was easy to get along with and I could tell that he understood our vision of the wedding. His fee was very reasonable, and his paperwork was very helpful in planning the reception. I feel like we gave him a fairly complicated gig in that we had a half Mexican - half American wedding, and he had to work around a mariachi band. He couldn't have done any better! He had people dancing the whole time! He took the songs that we suggested and then incorporated a bunch of other great music from both cultures, and everyone had a blast! I'm very shy when it comes to being the center of attention and dancing, and even I was out there dancing for almost the whole reception. Our guests keep mentioning how great the music was! Frank did a great job emceeing the reception in both Spanish and English. He worked really well with our venue and coordinator.

As luck would have it, I did not have a chance to actually meet with DJ Frank Young prior to my wedding day. We had chatted on the phone and fairly extensively through email, but as the wedding day approached, there was just no time to physically meet in person and that made me nervous. Turns out, I had absolutely no reason to be nervous about it, as everything turned out perfectly. My now-husband and I had prepared a fairly detailed list of songs/artists we liked, songs/artists we didn't like, must have lists and some fairly odd requests (Pixar soundtracks!) for the poignant moments of the reception. He managed to put together a mix that had our 20-something year old friends pleased as well as the 70-something year old guests, which is no easy feat. During the reception, everyone was on the dance floor at some point in time. Though it's been 2 months since the big day, we still get compliments on how it was the most fun wedding they'd been to in a long time and a lot of that atmosphere was thanks to Frank's skills. I also loved that Frank put together a few cd's for us that had the music he played throughout the evening so that we can re-live our magical night.

During dinner, Dave Brubeck's 'Take Five' came on and I said to my new husband 'Wow - this is one of Dad's favorite songs and this was definitely NOT on our list, he's doing pretty good.' At that same moment, my father leans back from his meal and gives me the thumbs up sign. From that moment on, there was no need to worry. Thanks for taking such good care of us Frank! You made our night all the more memorable.

DJ Frank is the best! He knows how to get your guests to dance, plays the type of music you want, is completely professional at all times, not cheesy, and is a great value. From the time we met with Frank in person for the first time through our Wedding day, Frank was completely responsive to all our questions and you can really tell he cares. He gave great suggestions along the way during the planning process, and all of our guests commented on all of the great songs he played. There was never a dull moment at our reception and guests were always up and dancing. His professional announcing style also was great for our wedding party entrance. We highly recommend DJ Frank to anyone.

Frank was the most responsive person that I dealt with in the wedding industrial complex. This is the first thing I noticed because I was rather surprised that many other vendors take a rather flexible approach to responsiveness. As a DJ, I can\'t imagine that you can find better. He is punctual, well-dressed, receptive to the client\'s music wishes, and classy as an MC. He takes an active role in ensuring that the reception is organized, but takes an understated approach to announcing events. My wife and I had very particular music choices: we had a specific list of jazz music that we wanted played at the cocktail hour, a few hard to find Latin tunes at the reception, and a list of specific other music that we wanted to play to get people dancing, and he acquired all the music and fit everything we wanted in. We had specific versions of songs that we wanted played for the parent dances, and he tracked those down too. We even asked if he could provide a speaker hookup for our friend who was playing an electric piano at our ceremony, and he provided the right setup. Frank did all of this at a far better price than other DJs I spoke with. I would use Frank again 10 times out of 10. He needs no hand holding, and you\'ll likely look back at him as among your most accommodating and competent vendors. And I don\'t need to tell you that a DJ can make or break a wedding. Frank made our wedding great--we look back on it all the time and think about what a great time we had dancing to the music Frank played.

Frank Young is an AMAZING DJ! I can't tell you how happy we were with him. He was so professional and helped us with all of the little details that I hadn't even thought of, like how to toss the bouquet so it doesn't hit the ceiling, where to have everyone stand for it, getting everyone organized for the intros, etc. Our intro to Thunderstruck by ACDC was perfect- the way he built the excitement and jumped to the fun part of the song was perfect! He also mixed two songs together for us for the father-daughter dance. Frank is an incredible dj- I'd HIGHLY recommend him!

We met with a few DJs before finding Frank, and we are so glad that we chose him for our wedding. Frank is incredibly professional, a pleasure to work with and really takes pride in his work. We had a minor issue with our food at the wedding and Frank went out of his way to come up to us and tell us that everything was OK, he was positive that the guests weren't even noticing, everyone was still having an amazing time, etc. He really cares about the bride and groom and wants to see them have the best day of their lives. Frank kept everything on schedule without rushing us or others, and most importantly he kept the dance floor PACKED, overflowing, hopping, amazing all night long. He also provided us with recommendations for song choices, and also let us bounce ideas off of him to figure out the best flow for the evening. He's clearly very experienced and it shows. When interviewing DJs we were impressed by their high tech online request websites. But honestly, being able to actually speak with Frank to talk about our requests, our do not plays and flow of the night was much more personal and really ensured that we were clear in what we wanted and allowed him to accomplish more so than I think we could have done using a DJs website. You won't be disappointed with Frank. He's awesome. Our friends say so also :)

DJ Frank was definitely one of the best vendors we worked with during the wedding planning. He met with us beforehand to go over details of the day, and had a lot of great suggestions for music and introducing parents who are divorced. But DJ Frank will always have a special place in our hearts, because he totally saved our entire wedding ceremony and cocktail hour.

Originally, we had hired Frank to only do the music for the reception. We had hired a band to do the ceremony music, and then play during the cocktail hour. However, we were having serious communication issues with the band, who continually failed to return emails and phone calls, even though we had placed a deposit with them. My husband suggested that we hire Frank for those additional two hours as a contingency plan in case we had any problems with the band on the day of the wedding. Frank was totally amenable to this idea, and gladly accepted the ceremony and cocktail hour music we wanted to have played so he could have it as a backup.

Sure enough, the band completely failed to show up that day. Frank jumped into immediate action, and began setting everything up for an outdoor ceremony. About ten minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, the winds really began to gust, and rain was imminent. He hustled to break everything down and get it all set up inside, where we now had to have the ceremony.

For my entrance music, I was supposed to walk to Canon in D played by the steel drum band, and somehow Frank had found a version of Canon in D in steel drums for me to walk down the aisle to. The fact that he had taken that extra step to find that song for me was really special. In addition, we had requested beach and Caribbean music for the cocktail hour, and Frank did not disappoint. He had a great selection during the entire hour. Had we not hired Frank for those additional two hours, we wouldn't have had any music whatsoever during our ceremony or cocktail hour.

For our first dance, my husband and I wanted to surprise everyone by performing a salsa dance. So we asked Frank if he could start off with a typical slow song that would make everyone kind of groan, slow it down so it sounded like something was wrong with the equipment, and then go right into our salsa song, which we hoped would catch everyone by surprise. Boy, did it ever! He did a great job with the music transition, and our guests were totally taken by surprise. It was really cool!

So as you can see, I have nothing but positives to say about Frank. He totally saved our ceremony and cocktail hour, and did anything and everything we asked of him. His music selection was terrific, and he was a fantastic MC. He was super flexible with all the changes we and the venue staff were throwing at him because of the weather that day. We are so fortunate that we had Frank as our DJ, and can confidently say that anyone who hires him will not be disappointed with him or his services.

Frank was great to deal with. He was very professional and elegantly dressed for my son's wedding. He played all the songs that were requested by us, my son and his bride. The day went very smoothly. Sometimes he took awhile to get back to us by e-mail, but everything he did was great. He was a very good MC for the wedding. I would use him again, if the chance came up.

Frank was our DJ for our 5 May wedding in Bethesda, MD. We cannot say enough positive things about him. He adhered to our playlist desires while supplementing them with appropriate other songs. He was extremely responsive and accommodating prior to the event and during - we fell about an hour behind schedule and he helped us reorganize and get things in order without being intrusive or obstructive. He wasnt just a good DJ - he was also experienced and smart in the event execution and we needed that. He struck the perfect balance of being a fabulous DJ but staying in the background and not making himself the star of the show. By the end of the night (a 6 hour reception) we were all exhausted but multiple times I heard my friends say "well I want to sit down but I can't miss THIS song". We are very grateful to have found him and highly recommend him to anyone needing a wedding DJ.

Simply outstanding. Frank Young is a thorough professional, quick to answer our questions, make timely suggestions on music, and acted as an unofficial MC at our reception. He is unfailingly polite and was very responsive to our needs. Once the dancing started at the reception, he kept the dance floor full and the energy high. There are not words to describe how great Frank was as our dj. The dance floor was never empty and the party just kept going. He was great at staying on schedule and playing the types of music we requested. When a random song was requested by a guest, he was able to download it at the wedding and play it immediately. Frank was very responsive to our requests and did not miss a beat. He was very professional. If you are choosing a dj for your wedding, pick Frank!

This review is long overdue (I was married in Sept 2011). Frank is absolutely wonderful! I was planning my wedding out of state and was only able to communicate with him via email/phone. Frank did a fantastic job of including songs we requested and also adding in others that fit the atmosphere of our evening perfectly. He was excellent with helping the timeline of the evening run smoothly and was more than helpful in not just DJ-ing, but with any other little thing we needed help with during our reception. DJ Frank provided impeccable service for our wedding, and I would recommend him without hesitation. We could not have been more pleased with the attention to detail and calm professionalism he brought. He was quick to respond to initial email inquiries, and very flexible and patient with working out music selections. I was really impressed that he tracked down the more obscure recommendations I threw at him, from 1970s Brazilian pop to vintage Western Swing, to psychedelic DC blues. He listened to our ideas and concerns for the overall feel of the evening, and made it happen exactly as we pictured. During the wedding, he worked seamlessly with the coordinator to keep things moving along, helping to orchestrate the entire evening through the various events (cocktails, first dance, toasts, exits). DJ Frank ensured that the music and the whole rhythm of the evening were perfect.

DJ Frank Young did exactly what we wanted and because of him our reception had the tone we wanted. I heard from every single guest you had the best DJ and that they enjoyed him so much. He was also present for our ceremony and did a great job. He knows a ton about music and makes sure to know ideal times for the bride and groom. He is a great person to work with - as you can tell by all the great reviews. In addition, of all the DJs I looked at he was the only one that held his winter discount even though it was New Years' Eve. There is no review good enough!

I love Frank Young. He was the first DJ I met with and I cancelled the rest of my meetings because I knew he was it right away. He is super flexible - will play a list of songs you give him or figure out what best suits the crowd himself and play that. We were somewhere in between. I tried to be really organized but I sent him an outdated timeline before the wedding and it could have been a disaster. But Frank compared notes with the venue beforehand and calmly approached me to say "No big deal, but we have a different order of events..." His calmness definitely made all the difference and we all got on the same page in 20 seconds. He also would quickly and unobtrusively keep me updated on how we were doing with time. He came over at the end of dinner to say that we were a little behind since the speeches ran long and if we wanted he would go ahead and start the open dancing before dessert to get back on schedule. Most importantly, he played great music. I would recommend Frank to everyone! Thanks to him, I had absolutely zero stress about the music - one of the most important parts of a wedding!

Frank did an amazing job at our wedding. He was organized, on time, and was very respectful of my bride's wishes. Frank is the perfect DJ if you are looking for professionalism. We never had to worry about when things were happening, Frank would always appear that the perfect time and give us heads up to the next scheduled event like the dances with parents or the cake cutting. He was also incredibly respectful, unlike some over the top DJs that try and talk to much or pick songs that they like, Frank made it all about my bride. His timing was perfect and he never strayed from the songs shes likes to dance to. Overall I would recommended Frank Young to anyone looking for a wedding DJ that will guarantee a good time.

The DJ was an integral part of our wedding - because he was going to be doing the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. We also had some specific needs - I wanted certain songs for each part of the processional, we had 2 separate cocktail rooms which needed music during the cocktail hour (which were separated by the ballroom where the ceremony was, and which they flipped to be the reception), we had a photo slideshow, we had the bridal party entrance introudctions, a speech by my Mom (requiring microphone and an announcement), a blessing, toasts by the MoH and Best Man (again requiring microphone and announcements), our first dance (which was half a slow song; then half a fast song), the parent dances, and the cake cutting (more announcements). We needed the DJ to really be the "master of ceremonies" and ensure announcements were made at the right time, beyond playing the music.

Frank did a GREAT job at all of the above. I had several changes throughout the planning process in terms of the timing of events, as well as some of the announcements, and he flexed with all of it without a problem.

The ceremony went off exactly as planned, with all the right songs played at each part of the processional (one song for the parents walking in, one song for the bridesmaids and ringbearers, then one song for me and my Dad, then another song for exiting). He worked with our officiant and Hotel Coordinator at making sure everything was timed correctly.

Frank had a second set of wireless speakers for one of our cocktail rooms and then an iPod with speakers for the other room to make sure there was music in both rooms during the cocktail hour.

Frank got all the bridal party introductions perfect, got the transition in our first dance perfect, as well as all the other announcements. He played all the music we wanted, and got everyone dancing. Everyone had a fun time out on the dance floor and he kept it going. He made sure to come up to us at the key moments to make sure we were ready for dancing, cake cutting, etc.

Frank was professional, easy going, worked well with all of our vendors, and was reasonably priced. We really appreciated the job he did to make sure everything went according to plan!

Frank was great to work with. He was very professional and very flexible - my fiance and I were not very organized and Frank was able to roll with that without batting an eye. He really helped us to keep everything on schedule at the reception. And the music he played was great - we gave him a list of some must-play and do-not-play songs, and he was really able to pick up on our musical tastes and build a good playlist from there for both the cocktail hour and the dancing.

Frank was a pleasure to work with. We had some very detailed ideas for wedding party introductions, and certain songs to be played, and everything went off perfectly. Frank was very organized, and asked all of the right questions to make sure that he was handling everything according to our vision. LOVED working with Frank! It was such a painless process - we gave him some basic ideas about what we wanted, and he took those ideas and turned them into a fabulous evening of fun music. He got people excited and on their feet during announcements of the bridal party, and he didn't let that excited, joyful vibe end until the night was over. His timing is great, we worked many of his ideas into our reception, he listened to everything we wanted and incorporated it all...in a few words, Frank was phenomenal and I would hire him again in a heartbeat! Frank Young is exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. He mic'd our ceremony, and was helpful in letting us know when certain events (cake cutting, first dance) were due to take place. He played the songs on the must-play list, didn't allow any that were on the do-not-play list, and took several requests. Best of all, he was able to ascertain the mood of the crowd, and through his selection kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night, much to the delight of our guests.

Frank was great! We had a DJ back out some months before the wedding and Frank was able to step in and made it a truly memorable occasion. He was professional, organized, and was exactly what we were looking for at our reception. When we met with him we told him we were looking for a fun dance party for our guests, and that is exactly what we got. His experience was evident in the way he managed all the different speakers and his timing of cake cutting, dancing, and entrances were absolutely perfect. Everyone was on the dance floor including, Grandma and Grandpa, our little cousins. Frank made sure that everyone, especially us, had the time of our lives.

When we were looking for a DJ, we were impressed by so many solidly positive reviews for Frank. They are well-deserved. Frank delivers as promised. He keeps a low profile (no obnoxious DJ talk!) but makes sure the party keeps moving through good music choices and progression. Our dance floor was hopping the whole time. Everybody had a great time! He was also receptive to all of our requests and respected our play/do-not-play choices. We enjoyed working with him. It's rare to find such a reliable, high-quality DJ for such a reasonable price! Definitely go with Frank. You won't regret it!

Having Frank Young as our DJ for our wedding was the best decision that we made. A DJ can make or break a party and he did a better job than we could have ever imagined. I have had several people tell me that they have never seen that many people on a dance floor at a reception. He knew exactly what to play and at what time. Frank did an excellent job as DJ at our May 2010 wedding in Alexandria, VA. We planned our wedding in about three months due to travel considerations of family and military guests that were attending, and, in that short time frame, we did not get a chance to organize the photographers with the wedding reception site personnel. However, on the day of the wedding, Frank got to the reception site early and coordinated with photographers and reception personnel so that everything went smoothly. In addition, Frank did a great job announcing the wedding party and bringing people up to make toasts and generally keeping the reception moving along. Frank also did an excellent job at playing songs we wanted to hear, at soliciting favorites to be played from our multigenerational guests, and at adding music he knew the guests would appreciate, and everyone had a great time. I cannot recommend Frank highly enough, and I truly appreciate the wonderful job he did at our wedding and how he helped us and our guests have a wonderful wedding day. I would not use any other DJ's services, and I highly recommend Frank to you for yourwedding day.

Frank was everything we'd hoped for and more! He had excellent suggestions to help make everything go smoothly. Prior to the wedding, he helped with planning the timing of specific events and worked extremely well with the floor manager during the reception. He listened to what we wanted, and delivered exactly that. He contacted me the day before the wedding to review everything and ask if we had any additional songs to add to the list. My daughter and her fiance are pretty low key people and Frank struck the perfect balance and handled everything to perfection. We gave him a list of songs that we wanted played and he managed to work in all the songs at the perfect time. My daughter said that he checked in with her frequently to make sure everything was going exactly as she and her husband wanted. Right before their last song was played, my daughter suddenly remembered she wanted a special song played. Frank managed to slip it in seamlessly. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was filled all night. Frank deserves the highest praise - he's very professional, personable, and he thinks of everything! Frank provided DJ and MC services for our recent wedding, and we could not have been more pleased with him. He was able to create exactly the atmosphere we wanted, which was relaxed and fun. Nothing he did was obtrusive, as so many DJs are, and he handled the entire event with skill. His advice in planning out the schedule beforehand was spot on, and he did a fantastic job of keeping the party going. He also handled several unanticipated situations with skill.
