    Steve is fantastic

    Steve provided music for our outdoor service and our reception. He was attentive, thoughtful, helpful and kind. He kept things moving and was able to keep things light and fun for everyone.

    I highly recommend Steve Quinney/ DJ Fog. He did a fantastic job for my kids birthday party. We had over 60 kids at the party and they all had a great time. The DJ included a light show along with the DJ service.

    Steve Quinney is the best…I hired Steve to DJ my company’s (500+employees) holiday party and I am so glad I did. We met prior to the function to discuss expectations and pricing (very reasonable for what he delivers). Once we were in agreement, the contract was signed and he stayed in touch up until the day of the event. He stopped by the hotel to check out the set-up prior to the event (very impressed). On the day of the event, I stopped by the hotel to check on the progress of the hotel’s set-up, low and behold Steve was already there setting up his equipment. There were lights, lasers, speakers, etc. He even brought his karaoke equipment! He played a variety of music, including festive music for the occasion. Steve served as our host, making all the necessary announcements for the evening and was appropriately dressed for the occasion. Needless to say, the event was a blast and he’s on the list to return for all our DJ and party needs.

    If your company is in need of a professional DJ…he’s your guy!!!

    Steve Quinney is an amazing DJ and a fantastic entertainer. He is not only talented but listens to the needs of his clients, makes adjustments as necessary and always takes the higher road. I have been so happy with him for my wedding, I have also used his service for other events as well as my restaurant business events.

    DJ FOG (Steve) leads a great party. We have used him at our Restaurant/Bar on many occasions and will continue to do so. He has the ability to play to the crowd that is there, be it mellow or wild. His ability to get the "party started" is uncanny. His Karaoke skills are unmatched. He brought his whole setup for our New Years show and it was amazing, light show, backlighting and music videos.

    DJ Fog (AKA Steve) did a wonderful job at our reception. He went outside of his comfort zone (into the country music zone) to make sure he had everything that our guests would enjoy. He was extremely easy going about everything, even when we changed the schedule of the evening oh about 10 times, and I could not have asked for better service. I would recommend him for any event.

    We hired Steve for our wedding (May, 2012) and could not have been more happy with his performance. We gave him a few songs (some hard to find) that we wanted to play for our ceremony as well as our reception. He came through with everything that we wanted. For the rest of the reception, we told him that he had the reigns and to just keep people on the dance floor. That is EXACTLY what he did!
    Steve is very up to date on current as well as older varieties of fun music for a reception. You want to get your money out of your reception by keeping people there until the end! We didn't have to sit down and pick 5 hours of music like some other couples we've talked to, to give to their DJ. Steve handled it all from the moment the reception started until even after the reception ended.
    Another thing he brings to the table is lighting (which is one thing that we didn't even think of). Steve made our wedding more beautiful than we thought it could have been with all the up lighting he had. Having an extra color shoot up the walls of your ballroom made the whole place look amazing! Once your one the dance floor, it feels like you are almost in a club. We never expected him to have all of the equipment that he had but were VERY grateful that he did!
    All in all, there is NOTHING more of Steve that we could have asked for. He was perfect in every way and made our wedding even that much more perfect! Steve will be the only DJ I would EVER hire for ANY event I have in the future. Thank you, Steve for such a great job. We are very grateful for all the hard work and planning that you did to make our day just that much more special. We had a blast at our wedding. We'll be hiring you again when we do vow renewals!

    Steve did an absolutely amazing job DJing our wedding. He had us fill out a questionnaire about our music tastes, what specific songs to play for special dances, and verified all announcements that would be made. He made sure to have a walk-through of the venue site before the wedding so he knew exactly where to set up his equipment, etc. We knew there wouldn't be any last minute issues with Steve! We could definitely trust him to be completely prepared. The music at the reception was perfect - it was a combination of old and new and kept our wedding party and guests on the dance floor all night! His lighting was also beautiful. One of our wedding colors was purple and the lighting he provided added the perfect extra touch. I would recommend Steve to any and all of my friends/family and actually already have! Many thanks to Steve for making our wedding so unforgettable and fun!

    DJ FOG with Steve Quinney helped keep a perfect day even more perfect. High praise to his professionalism, and the quality of his sound, lights and effects, and overall presentation. This was our second time using DJ Fog and have already booked him for a 3rd event at our next year's Halloween Party. You cannot go wrong with Steve Quinney.

    DJ Fog created a fabulous atmosphere for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen party this January. He spent a substantial amount of pre-event time preparing music mixes and communicating with me and my daughter about specific preparations. We had a formal venue room in Chapel Hill with over 60 guests and catering. Steve designed special effects lighting for the entire room, including lasers, black lights, up-lighting on the walls, and rotating illumination designs in the entrance foyer. His array of equipment was of the highest modern quality. In addition to normal DJ activities, Steve acted as Master of Ceremonies, guiding party guests during the grand entrance, food service, and birthday cake presentation. The music mix was current, lively, and age-appropriate, keeping the kids dancing and excited. He was especially receptive to the kids individual music requests. Keeping that many teenagers happy and interested for over 4 hours of the party is indeed the mark of a truly dedicated and talented professional. Thank you Steve, my daughter and her friends had an absolutely unforgettable evening. It's a rare ability to create memories that will last a life-time - and that's exactly what you did! I hope everyone in the Triangle will call you for their party needs! I'd be glad to provide a reference if you have the need.     Steve Quinney (DJ FOG) was the most awesome DJ ever! When I hired vendors for my daughter's wedding the DJ was the most important vendor because a good DJ can make or break a wedding. There are very few DJs who are not only a DJ but also a great wedding MC. DJ FOG was both. He handled everything from start to finish like a true professional! His light show was incredible and he provided the most beautiful uplighting ever. My daughter's wedding reception was the pink paradise she requested and the dance floor stayed packed from young to old, incredible. If you want the best you need to hire this guy!
