DJ Flobito was wonderful from the very first email to the clean up after our wedding. He was prompt and responsive, professional, and a delight to engage with. He was always right on time for our scheduled phone meetings as well as to set up the day of the wedding. He was prepared with details and songs that we hadn't even thought of. We got the exact vibe we were going for with songs we requested while keeping people on the dance floor and making sure important events like the speeches, dances, and cake cutting were not missed. He was funny, kind, and overall a phenomenal choice for your wedding or other event. Highest recommendations. -

DJ Flobito was the perfect DJ for our Fiesta Wedding! He took the time to understand what our event meant to us, what kind of feel we were going for, and what music we wanted for our special day. DJ Flobito was very professional and listened to all our requests. He took the time to incorporate our ideas into his performance. The flow of the wedding was perfect and he didn't skip a beat. DJ Flobito did an incredible job at our Wedding. He hyped up the crowd and transitioned through the day seamlessly. Our guests gave many compliments on the music and had a wonderful time. He was super easy to work with and super easy to communicate wiith. We even put in some last minute requests and he happily added them in his mix without hesitation. DJ Flobito is the best! -

Flobo aka DJ Flobito IS THE BEST! He DJ’d our wedding in San Luis Obispo back in July on a hot summer day. There were 3 different areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had a keyboard player, singer and recorded music that needed to play at our ceremony. It was all done flawlessly and sounded absolutely perfect in our beautiful outdoor space. He was a wonderful MC during the various announcements and special requests we had during cocktail hour and our reception.
Not only was the volume and the sound perfect throughout our day, DJ Flobito keeps the energy high and fun throughout. He is also great at reading the room and picking songs to keep the vibe flowing or change it up if it is floundering.
He will make you feel comfortable ahead of the event, going through all the details and providing his own very helpful tips and tricks. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as special or memorable if we hadn’t choose DJ Flobito. Very highly recommend booking him for your next event!! -

TL;DR: Hire Flobo as your DJ/emcee, he will make your party hands-down the most special from start to finish complete with the best music and a smile on his face! My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Flobo for our wedding in Malibu at the Adamson House. From our initial call, we were really blown away by Flobo's kind and fun demeanor. He is ~extremely organized~ and made it really easy for us to know exactly what decisions we'd need to make pertaining to music as well as the run of show. When we dragged our feet to make certain decisions (music selections were hands-down the most difficult wedding decisions for this music-loving couple), Flobo was not only patient but had great suggestions and tips and tricks for what types of songs work best. Flobo and my husband are both huge wrestling fans so they had fun coming up with ways to weave in some fun music into our setlist. We also wanted a cross-cultural playlist with everything from hip hop, R&B, reggae, merengue, reggaeton, soul, pop and more and he delivered on all fronts. Last but not least, when I decided a week before the wedding to add live musicians to our ceremony, Flobo did not bat an eye, and made sure we had the additional equipment we'd need in order to make that work at a reasonable cost. Our venue was outdoors with several different areas and Flobo made sure the sound was ~flawless~ in each and every single one. So many guests and other vendors commented on how awesome Flobo was and the dance floor was poppin' and at capacity the entire night. Again, one of the best decisions we made was hiring Flobo. Do not hesitate! We hope to work with Flobo for more parties down the line. Thanks again! -

Flobo was so fun to work with, so professional and knew exactly what we wanted!! The sound quality was amazing the entire night and he had various set ups which was helpful since our guests moved from ceremony to cocktail to the reception. He knows how to read the dance floor and the day after the wedding we had so many friends come up to us and tell us how awesome the DJ was! Out of all of our vendors, he was the most communicative, the fastest responder and exceeded our expectations in terms of the energy and vibes he brought to our reception. The dance floor at our wedding was packed the whole night because DJ Flobo is excellent at his job. He was super thorough and helped to define the scope of his job. He asked all the questions we didn’t think of. It was super clear from the beginning that Flobo knows what he’s doing, and every interaction we had with him was both friendly and professional.
He really helped keep our wedding on schedule while still remaining flexible. Flobo was essential to making sure that all the events at our wedding transitioned smoothly, which allowed us more time to relax and enjoy our own party. He played all the music we’d hoped to hear, and skillfully mixed a wide variety of styles/genres that we wanted to hear. He supplied all of his own equipment and showed up early to set up.
We definitely recommend DJ Flobo for any event.

Flobo is a true artist who made our wedding the most perfect event we could have imagined. He got a feel for what we wanted, was patient with our timelines, communicated clearly, and everyone raved about him the next day. He was our DJ but then after getting to know him better, we asked him to be our officiant and he could not have been better in facilitating our ceremony. We were so confident in him especially at the rehearsal when we asked how long the ceremony would be and he responded, “17 minutes, I timed it.” We laughed and realized he was perfect.
He was genuine, professional, calm, and most important he made sure to remember that this is a human experience, not just an event. We’ve had 3 wedding dates over 2 years during the pandemic and he stuck with us every step of the way like a true professional. Calling him a DJ is doing him a disservice as he really was a master MC and true collaborator. He enabled us to have an absolutely perfect wedding. We could not recommend him highly enough and look forward to an opportunity to hire him again.

As you know, the music carries out the vibe and energy of your whole event and people couldn't stop complimenting us on how good the music was! Pre-ceremony and cocktail hour, we weren't around to hear it since we were getting ready and taking photos so it felt great to have so many people commenting on the playlist - a collaborative effort with us and DJ Flobo. He's extremely organized with planning out the day and sending out our meeting notes, something we really needed help with since we just really had no idea about the day of planning for weddings. We gave him some suggested songs on our playlist and let him know the overall vibe we wanted for each section and he NAILED it. One person on the catering staff told us it was hard to work our wedding because the music was so good and she wanted to be a part of the party! -

Flobo Boyce served as a master of ceremonies for the Riverside County Office of Education’s Student Unity Conference on October 29, 2019. He was tasked with bringing the energy to keep 800 high school students attentive and engaged from the stage throughout a long day in a convention center hall.
For those of you who are corporate event organizers, you’re likely dealing with concerns from executives about handing the microphone to an unknown outsider, are unsure about whether the emcee will dip into jokes or inappropriate language, and you’re probably wondering if the whole idea of a master of ceremonies will just mean more hassle and bring unnecessary drama. If you are considering booking Flobo Boyce for your next event, be assured that you won’t need to concern yourself with these issues.
At the Student Unity Conference, Flobo was the anti-diva. He was extremely flexible with all our changing requests, came early to prepare, stayed afterwards to assist, engaged with the keynote speakers to help them succeed, and was an overall true professional. From the perspective of the person on the other side of the two-way earpiece who communicated with Flobo throughout the entire day, he was a strong communicator who exhibited a confident, positive, and energetic presence that helped our event succeed.

Flobo recently collaborated with me and my team in a Summer Kick Off Game Day event that we hosted for the foster kids of Olive Crest. We held the event outdoors in the neighborhood on one of the hottest days of the week. Let me tell you, if it wasn't for Flobo and his services, my team would not have any energy to be as active as we were. His skills and the energy he gives off is what anyone would need for their event! He is very personable, outgoing, and talented! He had music playing from the moment we started setting up to the very end of the event. I heard many kids and the staff members talk highly about him during the event as well. At one point, he even came to where we all were and did a few line dances with us. He taught the kids the moves and everyone was up and dancing. As a wedding planner, I always count on the DJ/MC to help me create a memorable and successful event because they are what gets everyone going. Being said, Flobo went above and beyond to make this foster kid event exactly that. I will for sure refer my clients to him for their next event. Highly recommended! -

Flobo was DA BOmB dot COM!!!! We had Flobo as our dj/mc at our wedding at Salt Creek Beach, CA on May 04,2019 and he was fantastic! We are a couple from Chicago, IL and planned a wedding 2,000+miles away from our venue. Finding vendors and trying to create your A team is not easy, but booking DJ Flobo was one of the most easiest decisions we ever had to make during the planning process. We were originally looking to book a dj our coordinator referred us to but that dj was booked. The booked dj did a little consulting with us and once we’d explained to him that we wanted a dj/mc that was funny, crazy, energetic, and a party pumpin type of person, he referred us to DJ Flobo. After the first consultation over the phone with Flobo we knew then and there that we wanted him as our dj/mc. He’s very professional, attentive, diligent, helpful, responsive, easy to reach, and funny! He dj/mc’d both our ceremony (in the sand) and reception (in the grass). He attended our rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding to get a better understanding of the venue, the flow, the vibe and the cues. (Not a lot of dj’s do that!) Flobo knows how to control the dance floor, and knew exactly when to fade out the song and transition when my father and I were dying on the dance floor during the father/daughter dance. (My Dad and I have a goofy relationship and not a lovey dovey relationship. The fade out was well needed). So if you’re looking for the perfect mc/dj book Flobo. Just don’t forget to feed him :) -

But he came highly recommended by another DJ that we had been considering so we went with it. We had our wedding in San Clemente, CA and had to do a lot of the planning over the phone. Flobo was very accommodating in terms of scheduling and really went the extra mile to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. He made sure we had his personal contact info and would respond to text messages within the hour (unless it was weird hours). His equipment was fantastic and he really did a great job getting the party started, and keeping it going until the end of the night. We got many comments from our guests about how wonderful he was. Truly was a pleasure to work with him. Great person and only wish him the best of luck as he grows his business. His services were of great value and I really couldn't have asked for anything better.
