Incredible Entertainers!

DJ Efi and his team were nothing short of amazing! Every single person at the wedding kept telling us how amazing they were and were so blown away. The percussionist was incredible--he was extremely interactive and kept the crowd energized and pumped up. The violinist and saxophonist were also so awesome. The mix of DJ and live instruments was the best decision we made. I would do the wedding all over again just to have Efi and his team again!! We also had "Live Shots" at our wedding so in addition to the photographs from our hired photographer we are going to have over 700 additional photos of the incredible night from the dance floor and room. Thank you!

Samba entertainment and DJ Efi absolutely amazing!

Absolutely the best DJ! He kept all my guests on the dance floor all night. We received so many compliments on the music and live drum player. Samba also provided us with full room white draping, transforming to our venue into the wedding of our dreams. DJ Efi and his team are the best for. My Greek-Colombian wedding was a hit. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Simply the best!

We knew when we met DJ Efi and crew at another wedding that we had to have them for our wedding! From the first email to the day of our wedding, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and professional. Efi's whole team went above and beyond to make sure we were set with everything we wanted for our big day. We will be using Efi for all our future events. Our guests are still raving about Mandy! The dance floor was packed all night and we know that's thanks to Efi and co! Thank you again for making our special day that much more amazing!

Returning customer after 12 years!!!

Hands down one of the best!!! They don’t make me like this anymore. Had the pleasure of using Effie for our wedding and now for our daughters bat mitzvah! Classy, fun, down to Earth and really reads the crowd!!!

Absolutely incredible!!!!

DJ Effi, Keren and their musicians were INCREDIBLE!!!!! They exceeded our expectations and made our wedding absolutely perfect. We are forever grateful. My parents saw DJ Effi at a friend’s wedding and said we must hire them.... & it was the BEST decision ever!!!! I didn’t have to worry about a thing and the guests were dancing all night long! Elevate Your Party to Another Level

DJ Efi with Samba Entertainment was incredible and he was able to create an indescribable atmosphere. They were very easy to work with and always available to speak on the phone. After our initial DJ quit, DJ Efi gladly stepped in and elevated our wedding to another level. He had an extensive book of music and provided helpful suggestions when it came for us to decide. We began our party with a massive hora, seamlessly transitioned into Latin and pop music, and finally we ended with EDM. DJ Efi managed to play my husband’s favorite song without knowing it just from cues from speeches alone. Our guests loved DJ Efi and commented how fantastic the music was. My husband and I highly recommend DJ Efi and Samba Entertainment.

I got married this past labour day in Hollywood FL. Lisa Barabi not only went above and beyond to help coordinate everything from song choice to who might be able to help me with makeup and then some!! She arranged an amazing DJ Effi who responded to the crowd and kept my party magical! She called me and looked out for me all of the times I was so so freaking out. Basically, everything about Lisa and her company that she works with, Samba Entertainment, is a 10+++++++++++ and I couldn't imagine the night the same without them <3

What really makes a party memorable and a great success and what your friends & family will talk about for a long time after your event is over is how much much they enjoyed dancing! So DJ EFI is key!! Give your crowd enough to drink and good music and you have a success on your hands. For you as the party giver, you must have KAREN as the party planner/ coordinator to take care of all the details so you can concentrate on your friends & family. Fabulous team, caring, communicative, professional and fun to work with! I highly recommend Samba Entretainment for your events.

Dj Efi was phenomenal!!! He was able to feel the vibe of the party and crowd and every song that was played was such a hit. A week and a half later, people are still commenting on our music. The band was the perfect added bonus as well!!! Amazing team.

DJ Efi and his team were incredible to work with! The energy at the party was unreal and he was able to read the crowd perfectly! The dj set up was super cool and the party supplies were a hit! I got married this past weekend on October 22, 2016 and I still feel like I am in a daze. Solaris Mood, Dj Efi and the Team are exceptional! Everyone is still raving about our wedding and how they never left the dance floor. My cousin who is anti social and very shy didn't leave the dance floor at all and my family was shocked. It really was an amazing party and DJ Efi and his team are responsible for that. It wasn't your typical reception where all the traditional dances were done at once, the format of the whole night was spread out in a way where it was a constant party. No ones guests want to sit through two ceremonies and most weddings in their reception, the first hour is dedicated to father/daughter dance/ mother/son dance, couple dancing, and speeches. It takes up too much time and DJ Efi and his team come up with a layout that includes all the traditional dances but they are spread out through the night. They are simply amazing, look no further they are the BEST. If you want to have the time of your life with your guests and hubby hire them!! Also, when you hire them as your Dj make sure to add the percussionist to play along side with the DJ, it makes a huge difference. I can't wait to get our wedding video to relive the night.

Samba Entertainment was amazing!!!!! DJ Effy was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. His staff is courteous and professional. I asked Effy for 2 dancers for my sons Bar Mitzvah and they were spectacular!!!! The really got the kids and adults involved. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who asks.

I literally called the day after my wedding just to tell the staff how ELATED I was with DJ Efi and his crew. It was a magical night and the music was so on point! The sax player and percuccionist were INCREDIBLE and made the night even more fun! I would hire DJ Efi in a heartbeat and not worry at all! DJ Efi provided the lounge furniture, the kid's lounge looked fabulous! Efi had everyone both young and old dancing all night long. The dance floor was never empty and Efi actually had to tell my guests that the party was over! I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Our wedding was a success, BECAUSE of Solaris. Not only was the lighting beautiful, but DJ and drummer Mandy turned our wedding into a happy celebration. Our goal was for our guests to have a good time, and these 2 delivered (and more). Not only do my fiancé and I come from 2 different cultures, but almost 80% of our guests have never met each other. Most of us were convinced our wedding would be silent, uncomfortable and awkward. DJ and Mandy encouraged all our guests to dance (including the children) with their personalities and song choices. By the end of the night, we became one big happy family (and some of our guests were even flirting with each other hehe). It's more than a week later, and people are still talking about our wedding. Efi and his staff provided beautiful modern lounge furniture, GOBO and up lighting for my husband's 40th birthday party. His team is incredibly accommodating and professional. Every detail was thought about and his team really made my event special and beautiful. Karen from Samba Entertainment did a extraordinary job and making sure everything was PERFECT! What can I say about Samba Entertainment/Solaris Mood? They SAVED my wedding day. After PLANNING an outdoor garden wedding party, it started to pour. Efi and the crew transformed an unplanned for, dull room into a wedding paradise!!! If it were not for Solaris Mood (and Samba Entertainment) my event would have literally been a wreck!!! They came through far beyond any other vendor I have ever seen, heard of, or worked with - In lightning speed too! I thank god that I chose them for my special day...who know how other vendors would have reacted with last minute, unexpected complete change of plans. They saved the day, literally. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! NOBODY BEATS YOU GUYS!!!!

We are so happy that we chose DJ Efi to play at our wedding. Our wedding was at The Eden Regal ballroom and the dance floor was packed the entire night! Dj Efi nailed the exact vibe we were hoping to achieve. He was so professional, and had the best attitude. When we were considering music, we were nervous to go the DJ route (as opposed to a band). As it turns out we couldn't be happier!! Our engaged friends who attended have ALL asked for his info so they can book him as well.
Keren at samba entertainment is awesome! She was always quick to respond and very pleasant to work with.
I would absolutely recommend DJ Efi to anyone who is looking for an amazing DJ service!

AMAZING. No other word to describe - lighting, music, musicians, everything was perfect. Guests could not stop saying how incredible DJ Efi and all the musicians were - they were able to read the crowd and create such a fantastic vibe. We would use for all future events and recommend to anyone!

Samba entertainment provided our lighting, DJ all night and a reception with a saxophonist, violinist, and percussionist. The music was amazing! All of our guests were raving that the music just made the night!

We are so grateful to the hard work Efi and Karen put in to make our wedding incredible. They worked with the FOB and MOG to incorporate their tastes and in the end we had the perfect mix of old school rock and roll for Dad, Israeli music for Mom and modern music for my husband and I. It was perfect.

One of the most important thing about your wedding besides your dress and the right man...is your entertainment!!! A wedding is about celebrating and it must be out of this world...lucky for you you have found the perfect fusion DJ/band. From the very beginning Efi and Karen were absolutely warm, professional and easy to work with. I was planning my own wedding so working with them was the best knowing I was in good hands. I got emails, texts and phone calls saying that the DJ rocked the house and my ceremony music was surreal. The display of lights and decor was beautiful and they definitely made my night. Everyone raved that my wedding was one of the best and most fun and owe a huge part of that to SAMBA! From the cocktail hour, the ceremony and reception it was all fantastic! Thank you so much!

DJ Efi and Lisa, his office coordinator, were extremely helpful from the first phone call. Response to questions was very timely and complete. The music the night of was spot on...Efi did a good job in reading the crowd... everyone danced all night. The addition of the violinist and sax player were a big hit with everyone!! Great night!!

We loved DJ Effie and the photo booth. So easy to work with and kept the party going! Our only complaint and those of our guests was the volume of the music. Even after requesting it to be lowered numerous times, DJ Effie would turn it back up. I would still recommend your company without any hesitation!

Samba is based in Dania Beach, FL. They will come to NYC, however, if you meet a minimum of $5K. We hired Samba to handle our music because we were looking for a DJ who would play a mix of international and American music. Although they played a few songs by artists I had placed on the "Do Not Play List" (i.e. Britney Spears), overall, they did a fabulous job with the music and my guests had a great time. They also handled the lighting in the ballroom and sanctuary, which looked beautiful and really enhanced the rooms. Samba specializes in recorded music played alongside live musicians. We hired DJ Efi along with a saxophonist, percussionist and violinist, which really enhanced the effect of the recorded music.

Karen is DJ Efi's assistant. We hired her to do our day-of coordination and she turned out to be a godsend. She was very patient regarding all the little details I emailed her and she really came through to make both the sanctuary and ballroom look beautiful and to keep the night running smoothly. She also charged a fraction of the rates charged by Manhattan wedding coordinators. For the price alone, she was an amazing deal. I would highly recommend her, even if you do not go with DJ Efi.
