Eric was amazing as our DJ on our wedding day! He helped keep everything organized and everything ran so smoothly! He played the best music all night and knew exactly when to play a pump up song, slow song, etc. He was super professional and always available for any questions, able to give his advice on order of operations for a seamless reception and open to any of our suggestions as well! The app that we used to answer questions and choose which songs we wanted to play was very helpful to keep things organized and keep communication open. We are so happy with our decision to have Eric as our DJ, highly recommend using him for your wedding! -

Eric is amazing!! His attention to detail, professionalism, and organization helped make our wedding day perfect. He’s energetic and kept people on the dance floor all night. We received so many compliments about him and couldn’t have asked for a better day. Not only do you get meetings with him prior to your wedding, but you get to use his app to help pick out songs and plan the day. The app also has so many amazing planning tips. If you want a perfectly organized and high energy reception, this is the guy for you! -

Excellent!
Eric was absolutely wonderful throughout our entire wedding and planning process! He was very professional and incredibly helpful in helping us stay organized in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding. We loved the app he uses and it made it very easy for us and our guests to request songs for the ceremony and reception. Unfortunately, Eric got sick right before our wedding so wasn’t able to attend on the day of. He communicated throughout the whole process and secured an alternate DJ to be there for our wedding. He was very professional despite this unexpected hiccup and made sure that we still had everything we needed for the day to go off without a problem. The backup DJ was great and very accommodating as there was a lot of rain during the day for our outdoor wedding. We were so happy with our experience with HME Event DJ. Definitely would recommend to anyone planning a wedding or any event. Also the dance floor was lit! Everyone was dancing the entire time!! -

Eric was awesome! He was prepared and everything for our wedding went off without a single hitch! He met with us a few times before the wedding to make sure everything would go well. The app he uses allowed us to add songs we wanted for each aspect of the wedding: before the ceremony, walking down the aisle, during the ceremony, after the ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance, dinner, dancing and everything in between! It was so nice to have that as we'd often be in the car, hear a song we liked, and then just add it to the app. It definitely made this part of planning less stressful, which is what we are all looking for when wedding planning. We told Eric our vibe of music and he didn't disappoint when picking songs for open dancing. So much was going on for us during the reception, trying to talk to everyone/photos/etc, but we never once noticed any issues with the sound! We would hire Eric again and again! Professional, efficient, and customized to our day! -

Eric has absolutely blown us away and we have a new friend!! Let me just begin by stating how amazing it was to be able to not worry at all on our wedding day about his capabilities. And it all went better than we could have ever imagined! He showed up early to get everything set up and he even coordinated with my musician friends to sing for us during our ceremony and our readers to be prepared with theirs mics. He is a top notch professional through and through that knows what works best in the industry for all types of couples and is a darn good MC and DJ! He kept our guests involved, in line, and dancing all night! A major plus and key that we believe made this all a success is Eric's preparation and planning. He has an app and amazing communication to get everything hammered out ahead of time. Throwing a wedding is big deal, and we have learned that a high quality DJ is at the top of list of necessities. We hope to see him again at weddings that we attend as guests in the future! THANK YOU, ERIC! -

Eric was absolutely AMAZING. From day one of planning our wedding all the way up until the end of our wedding night. The amount of effort and care he put into our event, keeping in touch with us, checking on us through the evening, making sure things went the way we wanted, and creating a vibe that excited everyone on the dance floor. Absolutely amazing and would 1000000% recommend him for any event.

Highly recommend! Eric is very detail oriented and went above and beyond what's expected of a normal dj. He made sure to use our names throughout the night, dismissed tables for dinner in an orderly fashion, worked closely with our photographer to make sure the night went as smoothly as possible. He knows how to read a crowd, our dance floor was packed, and our guests had a blast. -

Eric came highly recommended through our venue, The Cyrus Place, and we couldn’t have been happier with the service he provided! He was in charge of the music for our wedding, both the ceremony and reception, and both parts of the day ran seamlessly because of his attention to detail and punctuality. Eric helped us through the entire planning process and even made a strong effort to get to know my now-husband and I on a personal level. It made him feel like part of the celebration, and not just someone ‘doing a job.’ He was enthusiastic and accommodating, and played all the right music to keep our guests on the dance floor. He even helped my sister, the Matron of Honor, pull off a secret song during her speech! I highly recommend Eric if you are looking for a DJ for an upcoming event! -

Beyond Exceptional!!
Eric was absolutely FANTASTIC for our wedding! From the initial meeting on discussing what our vision looked like, he was so fun, engaged and extremely professional. He was in constant communication through the entire wedding process and knew every detail very far in advanced. I was so happy to know that he visited the venue to ensure he knew what he needed and what our vision would be for the day. Everything was very easy through the app Eric uses! Eric also contacted all of my other vendors so that he knew all details as well as ways in which he could be beneficial for them. He was also able to adjust to our musical taste with adding a flare. We both loved country music but know our guests would want some fun dance songs and Eric definitely made it such a fun dance floor! ALL my guests raved about how fun the dance floor was! He was without a doubt our BEST decision to book! -

Our easiest decision
Picking Eric was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! He was so professional from the first time we met all the way through the end of the night of our wedding, he never missed a beat and was so much more than just a DJ for us! We really appreciated Eric and how detail oriented he was because he was able to ask questions of things we hadn’t even considered but ended up being very important in the long run! Out of all my vendors he is the one that was is the most consistent in communicating with us, clarifying exactly what we wanted, and we felt very secure with him.
Eric worked with our wedding coordinator, the venue staff, and even our officiant multiple times before the wedding to get all the timeline details in order which helped to make the day run very smooth! We trusted Eric throughout the day because we truly felt that he understood our vision for the wedding and how we wanted it to flow. He kept the atmosphere upbeat, and got everyone dancing as soon as we finished our first dance together! At one point he came out and busted out some awesome dance moves which really got our guests going, we loved it!
Eric had been the DJ for a friend of ours two years prior and so we were able to see the amazing additions he has made in just two short years from our friends wedding to our own! His set up is so sleek and it blended seamlessly with our venue! We really appreciated that Eric cared about our wedding day going well just as much as our friends and family! Do yourself a favor and hire Eric- it’ll be one of the easiest and best decisions you make for yourself! -

I could spend hours explaining how great Eric is at his job! I chose Eric based on how clean his set up is because lets face it, not all brides know what a "good dj" is. I got VERY lucky! Along the way Eric asked me the most detailed questions and has had the answer to every question I could possibly ask. He taught me what a GREAT DJ looks like and how he does what he does, and let me tell you, he is very detailed! Eric has been in our lives now for about two and half years due to the pandemic and postponing. During this time he was quick to lend an ear and be there for us through the hardest of times. He quickly became our friend, not just a vendor. Even before the pandemic Eric took on a lot of tasks for me that I was not expecting. I asked him many planning related questions (I had never planned a wedding before or was even a part of one I had no idea what I was doing lol). He helped me make decisions that were wedding related but had nothing to do with the music! He was so easy to talk to and so eager to help in any way he could! Eric made our wedding and reception much smoother by having microphones ready, offering ideas such as taking a photo with all our guests, playing games with our guests, and encouraging people to get on the dance floor and participate in our activities! Not only was he great at preparation, he was great at mixing music and making sure all of our guests had a great time! He was the key to the most amazing day of our lives and we cannot thank him enough for all his hard work! -

Mr. & Mrs. Denney- DJ Success!!
Eric did an exceptional job!!! From start to finish he was actively engaged and understand our vision to make our dream wedding a reality. He is easy & friendly to work with and very skilled at editing songs to fit our expectation. At first we were overwhelmed due to our lack of musical knowledge but with Eric's experience and guidance it was much easier than expected! He also provided us with an app that allowed us to pick hundreds of songs which we could drag & drop into our wedding timeline. We could also share this app with our bridal party and they added so many songs which took more stress off our shoulders. Eric also went above and beyond and visited our wedding venue months in advance to prepare for the big day. He delivered on all levels. I would highly recommend him for others! -

Eric is seriously THE BEST. From the very beginning of planning he was extremely helpful and responsive! The app that was used to choose songs was so easy to use and I loved that we could add people to the app to put their requests in as well. We met him for coffee for our first meeting and knew right then that he would be perfect. He made everything so easy and laid out the timing perfectly! I’m so glad we found him for our wedding and we had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the music and vibe! If you’re looking for a DJ, Eric is 100% your guy!! -

Eric was so great! He provided a great party for everyone and got so many people out on the dance floor. We've been getting so many compliments about how everyone was dancing and the music fitted the crowd well. He was also very professional and caring, especially during the pandemic. We truly appreciated the monthly check-ins as well as him being available whenever we needed. He was so flexible when it came to music choices and even helped create some awesome mash-up songs that made our day really unique. Definitely recommend Eric for anything! We originally hired Eric so he could play all the songs that me and my now wife wanted to be played at our wedding. Did he do that? Of course yes is the answer. But what I didn't expect, was how above and beyond he went with the extra things that our friends told me they wish their DJ would have done for them. He takes EVERYBODY into account when he is determining what songs should and shouldn't be played so that NO ONE feels they can leave the dance floor (using an app that is incredibly efficient and easy to use), he has great energy that is contagious to everybody at the reception, and he takes a lot of responsibility in making sure the timeline is running smoothly and staying on course during wedding day. Leading up to the wedding, he also played a huge role in helping us organize our wedding timeline which relieved us of A LOT of stress (which our friends also told me they wish they could have experienced lol), not to mention got a hold of every vendor that we had contracted to make sure nobody was confused and that everybody was on the same page. Very grateful for Eric's services and will only recommend him for the rest of my life. We couldn't have asked for a smoother wedding reception and you surely will not regret choosing him as your event DJ. Absolutely phenomenal. -

He is absolutely the best! He listens to your ideas and make sure that everything is how you want it when it comes to the music. He works on a timeline with you and makes sure to keep you in your timeline the day of the wedding!
My husband and I are old souls and love older music and he made sure to play all of our favorite songs including my favorite band Fleetwood Mac. He's very organized, will continue to reccomend him. -

Eric did a great job for our wedding. The thing that sets him apart is the prep he does leading up to the wedding. He got to know us and he knew what we liked. He helped even plan the schedule for the day and help us almost like a wedding planner. He gave peace of mind which was maybe one of the best parts of his service. Eric was such a awesome DJ! He makes sure he meets everyone involved with an event and really stays on top of information and timelines. He is professional and responsible and we would pick him all over again. We recently saw him DJ again at a friend's wedding and he has started some great mixes, too. I'd pick his DJ Services over a large business any day.
