If your wedding isn't dutty, you aren't actually getting married
There are not enough positive things I could ever possibly say about DJ Dutty Laundry. He is such a genuine human being that loves his job and his people; it is so obvious in everything he does. He truly takes time to get to know his couples, listen to their thoughts and visions, and takes creative entertainment liberties to make THE day of all days special. From the moment I consulted with him over the phone, I knew that if I did not have him at my wedding, then I might as well not get married at all. As a matter of fact, I am pretty sure the hype I made about him being my DJ is what attracted most guests to my wedding after all 😂. He is the life of the event, while simultaneously making wedding attendees feel at home & the couple feel like the world is revolving around them. He is absolutely professional and personable. He is authentic and kind. He is very obviously a family man and a man of the people. I'm so incredibly thankful to have had Dj Dutty Laundry be a part of the most spectacular day of my life, and I know I have gained a lifelong friend. Thank you for everything, Dutty. Our DJ was absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our wedding unforgettable. He kept the energy high, interacted with every guest, and made sure everyone was having the best time. I had a long list of song requests, and he played every single one flawlessly.
What truly set him apart was how thoughtful he was in blending our cultures. My husband and I are from different countries, and he didn’t just play songs from both cultures — he crafted the perfect musical journey that celebrated both of our backgrounds in a way that felt seamless, personal, and incredibly meaningful. It was clear he put a lot of care and attention into understanding us, and it made the day even more special. We honestly can’t imagine our wedding without him — he was beyond amazing!

Power went out & dj saved the day!
We cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Dutty Laundry! He was truly the hero of our wedding day. Right at the beginning of our reception, the unthinkable happened, the power went out. Most DJs would have panicked, but not him. He was so incredibly prepared, calm, and professional. Within minutes he had backup equipment running and the music never skipped a beat. Our guests were dancing, laughing, and having the best time like nothing had ever happened.
Not only did he save the day, but from start to finish he was an absolute dream to work with. He was organized, attentive, and so so fun. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy going all night long!! Everyone kept telling us how amazing our DJ was, and we couldn’t agree more.
If you’re looking for someone who is not only talented but also reliable, resourceful, and ready for anything, DJ Dutty Laundry is the one. We will forever be grateful that he was such a huge part of making our wedding unforgettable!

As a wedding planner, I was super picky when it came to choosing my vendor team — but especially the DJ, because I know firsthand how much they set the tone for the entire event. Two Weddings with DJ Dutty 🫶
As the mother of the groom and a year + later, the mother of the bride, we have been fortunate to have DJ Dutty orchestrate the mood for the ceremonies, receptions, and the fun parties that followed. Our families love this man who has made the special occasion successful with his voice, humor, music, and his desire to make the moments memorable for the couples. I highly recommend DJ Dutty, especially if you want a fun wedding and don’t hesitate because he will keep the party going! So many of our guests have commented on how wonderful our DJ was and how fun the wedding receptions were for both weddings.

DJ Dutty Laundry is one of the best DJ in the industry!!!!
I met DJ Dutty Laundry while working at a wedding in October of 2022. I was a planner from Texas who traveled to Chattanooga to work a wedding for some friends from college. I was amazed by the talent and energy he had all night. He was hands down the most fun/talented DJ I have ever seen. He kept the crowd alive and would be out there on the dance floor with the guests to MC and hype the people up. He really knows how to throw a party!
DJ Dutty Laundry and I became fast friends after that and I knew he was the DJ that I would want to hire for my wedding. That day he told me to tell him when and where and he would be there on my special day! Sure enough, I got engaged in March of 2023 and we hopped on the phone and I signed pretty soon after that. He and his son Traveled 14 HOURS to Waxahachie, TX to DJ at my wedding, which just shows the kind person he is. He truly cares about his clients and wants their day to go as smoothly as possible. I had a photo booth that his son ran and I know it was a crowd favorite. DJ Dutty Laundry did amazing as usual. He is a down to earth and a true friend to me and now my Husband. He puts his heart and soul into every event that he does because he loves what he does. He had some tricks up his sleeve to get people on the dance floor, I won't spoil these surprises! ;) But he kept that dance floor alive the entire night! We had people of all ages from 4-85 dancing on the dance floor. Everyone told me that he lived up to all the hype that I was giving him before the wedding. All of our guests couldn't stop telling me what an amazing DJ he was and that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. He is truly the best DJ the industry has and you will not regret hiring him!

After experiencing Dutty at two friend’s weddings, there was no question who we needed as our DJ. Dutty was not just a vendor. During the planning process, it felt like he was just as invested in our wedding and reception as we were. Dutty completely exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process, Dutty was incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to understand our music preferences and the vibe we wanted for our wedding day. He was responsive to our requests and provided helpful suggestions that made our reception flow seamlessly.
On the day of our wedding, Dutty was a true star. He had our guests on the dance floor all night long with his amazing song selection and ability to read the crowd. The energy he brought to the reception was infectious, and we received so many compliments from our guests about how much fun they had.

First, I am the guy who took off the jacket.
More important, I want to compliment you on tonight. First, during cocktails, the volume was low enough to comfortably converse. During dinner, we could still converse, without screaming at the person next to me. When you jacked it up for dancing, it was motivating, but not painful, as has been my experience too many times. Too many DJs don't recognize that they are BACKGROUND, and try to become the star of the show, rather than the newlyweds. You kept the focus on them, and motivated attendees. (I haven't been on a dance floor in decades . . .) You had GREAT choices and variety of music, rather than the trash we normally hear.
You contributed to the evening, rather than dominated it. I thank you for that.

Ellis went above and beyond for our wedding and absolutely knocked it out of the park. He first did my twin brothers wedding back in 2019. DJ Dutty is the best of the best & a DJ is the most important piece to a reception. You need him! He played games with my guests when we needed time fillers & even the shyest of guests were in on the fun! He cared, worked with me & my bossy, and paid attention to the details. We had a very ethnically diverse group of guests & DJ Dutty catered musically to every people group. In our wedding photos, the whole group is smiling in every reception picture. We even had a LARGE group of people stay until the end dancing. He made our wedding perfect & fun. I didn’t have to worry about anyone having fun at any point. DJ Dutty is amazing! Having an out of state wedding is difficult and having to do everything over the phone and via email was so stressful in general but he made it so easy! (Wish it was that simple with all our vendors!) He completely surprised us with some things he had up his sleeve at the reception and it was a riot everyone loved it. I would recommend him 1000x over and I wish he was back in Michigan so all our friends and family who needed a DJ for their events could have him!! Ellis (DJ Dutty Laundry) was the PERFECT DJ for our wedding! Having a DJ who knew how to keep the guests on the dance floor having a good time was a non-negotiable. We were a little nervous at first getting married in a city we don’t live in but Ellis came highly recommended. Our expectations were exceeded by far and many of our guests said our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to in terms of the party aspect thanks to Dutty. Also, we had some curve balls on our big day and Ellis handled them with such grace, which in turn helped me and my husband stress a little less. Something else I love about Ellis is he truly cares about his clients and treat them like family. We felt like we had known him our whole lives which is rare with vendors. Hire DJ Dutty Laundry for your wedding or event. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Dj Dutty Laundry is the best in the business! His packages include everything you could ever imagine! From fog machines to cold sparklers, tons of up-lights, and so so much more! He has it all!!
Dj Dutty Laundry goes the extra mile! Our reception spot was a newer venue that he had not worked yet, so he met me at the venue one day to look around and walk me through where things would be so our day was perfect and I could alleviate a stress of where the dj would be set up!
Dj Dutty Laundry answers! I called him multiple times with simple questions and he ALWAYS answered me and reassured me that our day was going to be perfect!
I chose a package with an add on of extra up-lights to brighten our venue space and give the reception space more of a “night life” feel for the dancing and he did not disappoint!! It looked incredible!
Dj Dutty Laundry played clean, fun, dance worthy music all night!! He even got my mom and father in law on the dance floor! He played all of our requested songs and surprised us with our last dance song and it was so perfect!
Our wedding guests are still raving about how amazing Dutty Laundry is months after our big day! If you’re looking for a fun, easy to work with, keeps the people on the floor dj then DJ DUTTY LAUNDRY is your guy!!! We cannot recommend him more!

The best DJ!
Ellis is the best of the best!! My husband and I got married in October 2022 and we really wanted a DJ that was fun and interactive throughout the entire day. He not only involved us, but he wanted to make sure everyone had a good time, and we received so many compliments afterwards. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

You're really missing out if you don't have DJ Dutty Laundry at your wedding! He was so kind and hilarious throughout the whole process starting from the first day I contacted him. He was willing to work with me on my budget and brought the crowd onto the dance floor many times. He kept us laughing and dancing with his wonderful and entertaining emcee skills. The best dj!
We booked DJ Dutty Laundry for our October wedding at Ravenswood Mansion in Brentwood, TN. He was the absolute best!! To begin, we booked him about a year out and he remained in communication with us throughout that whole time. He was friendly, professional, and responsive. A few weeks leading up to the wedding, he had a meeting over the phone with us so that we were all on the same page. On the day of the wedding, he showed up on time (all the way from Chattanooga) and he did everything that he had promised! Since the wedding, we have had several guests compliment us on our DJ and they have all told us how much fun they had because of him. He kept the guests laughing and he also kept them on the dance floor with his music choices and energy. DJ Dutty Laundry also brought his Photo Booth (he sent us all the Photo Booth pics after the wedding) and he also brought his cold sparklers machine that we were able to use for both our send off and for our first dance (highly recommend…this made our night!). He presented so perfectly and made sure that my husband and I felt like the most special and recognized people on our wedding day! Hire him for your wedding/event, you will have no regrets!

I found dutty on instagram after seeing a photo posted by The Venue. Everyone in the photo was sweaty and the dance floor was packed. I said to myself, I need that DJ!!!!

The most amazing night!

If I could give DJ Dutty Laundry 20 stars I would. He was absolutely the best DJ I have ever seen. Not only did he keep the crowd alive and dancing all night long, he also interacted with everyone on the dance floor. DJ Dutty Laundry goes above and beyond for his couples, making sure everything is perfect and the day runs smoothly. He also goes out of his way to develop an amazing relationship with the couples that he maintains even after the wedding. He surprised us with cold sparks during our first dance and also timed them perfectly where it felt like we were dancing in a fairy tale! He also did an amazing job of giving my mom her time to shine since she didn’t have a daughter and mother dance, that way she felt included and just as special. His energy never ended and I truly believe he was the main reason why it was the most fun night of our life, and my husband agrees. Everyone after the wedding couldn’t stop complimenting on how amazing my DJ was and how much fun he was! I can’t thank him enough for everything he did for us!

Dutty is the best DJ you could ask for on your wedding day! Not only is he the life of the party, but he makes sure your day goes smoothly. Dutty talked to us before the wedding to make sure we got everything we wanted. Communication is something he is great at. Dutty is easy to get in contact with and he is quick to reply! He pays attention to detail which was very important to us! His packages allow you to customize your day with a monogram of your names, cold sparks, up lights, and even a photo booth! Dutty was great with having good music during dinner, but when the lights went out it was party time! He keeps everyone involved and makes sure that everyone is out on the dance floor. He says that the Dutty Club is for life and he isn’t wrong! He will send you fun pictures and videos after the wedding to let you reminisce on the night! Banger after Banger!
DJ Dutty Laundry is by far the best DJ I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I've been to a few weddings now and no one can read the crowd better than he can. I was initially worried that I wouldn't be able to find a DJ that could cater to my diverse crowd but boy did he prove me wrong! Most of my guests told me that my wedding was one of the best they have ever been to because Dutty played banger after banger all night. But don't sleep on his emcee skills either. He has an incredible ability to entertain the crowd and his props were a fun hit! Thanks to Dutty Laundry for making our wedding so unique to us! Kudos for also knowing how to cater to a Spanish speaking crowd! My family were very impressed!

We want to find an excuse to have another party just so we can hire DJ Dutty Laundry to DJ again! He is great with communication throughout the booking and preparation process. He did both our ceremony and reception, and we added the cold sparks, photo booth, spot light, and monogram sign. He even brought a bubble machine for us, because he's just like that! He brought so much energy to our reception and everyone absolutely loved him. We had countless comments about how awesome and funny he was. He had everyone in #DuttyMode by the end of the night. DJ Dutty was the absolute BEST DJ for our wedding!! We wanted someone that could read a crowd and engage with them to pull them on the dance floor or bring laughs and create great memories for our guests and he did just that! He pulled out all the stops without hesitation! He even threw in some surprises for our unsuspecting family members and guests!
Communication was very easy and he was incredibly quick to respond to a text or a call. If we had a question, he had an answer. We needed his help working out a flow to some events happening and he used his years of experience to make the most of our day. He was truly there for US. To feel like we had known him for years after only having one phone call, we knew we couldn’t go wrong having him there for our wedding day! He made sure to give all of our other vendors that day recognition for their part in our day and we very much appreciated him taking the time to do that!! Awesome party master
We hired Dutty for our wedding and it was a fantastic choice! We had our specific event songs (e.g. first dance, anniversary dance, etc.), a small list of must plays, and trusted him to handled the rest, which he did perfectly. For example, I noticed he played some older pop music a bit earlier in the night for the older guests, and as the night wore on and the dancing crowd got younger, the music steadily got newer. Hard to describe, but basically he read the crowd perfectly!
He's also a great full on entertainer, not "just" a DJ. With the jokes and appropriate commentary, we had multiple guests tell us afterwards how much fun he was and how impressed they were. He was also very easy to work with in the lead up, responsive to calls and texts and with a straightforward process. His add on packages are also great, we got the photo booth and it was A+, very popular with our guests.

Dj’s really do Makes a difference!
This is the first review I have ever written but one that was a must. While it may be lengthy it’s important anyone reading this understand what Mr. Elliott was up against unbeknownst to him.
A couple of weeks before my sons wedding, my husband passed away unexpectedly. My son and daughter-in-law were adamant they were going to cancel their wedding but that’s not what he would have wanted for them. With heavy hearts everyone cautiously approached the day not knowing what to expect. What should have been one of the happiest days of their lives, started with gloomy sky’s and sorrow filled hearts. Vendors were quickly working to get everything in place and in walks Mr. Elliott.
He approached the wedding party to outline what we could expect from him throughout the ceremony and did so with a very professional mannerism, not having any idea what these kids were struggling with.
There just aren’t words to describe how personable he was and because of his professionalism with a twist because he brought humor, true and genuine kindness into the mix, he made their day absolutely perfect!
His actions/plans for the reception were not planned in advance. He began to get to know each of us personally, truly working to incorporate everyone into the festivities in a special way. He had both the bride and groom serenading one another with the bridal party as backup singers/dancers! If he only knew ahead of time what introverts they were. He found ways to cater to the bride and grooms family, carving out time a moment for the mom’s to have a special dance, father of the bride had a guitar solo and the crowd was on their feet jumping at the chance to help sing along. Everyone was involved and it was stunning to see how he brought everyone out of their shell and gave life to this celebration!
From dancing to so much laughter your face hurt from smiling he was in the mix of things working to bring joy from the moment the music first started till the last good-bye was said for the night. There was never a dull moment and he did everything he could to ensure this was the absolute best ceremony ever. He snapped photos and joined our families as we danced, sang and smiled for the first time in weeks.
As the day wrapped up and the bride and groom were about to head for home, Mr. Elliott took one last opportunity too find the absolute most perfect moment where the they could reflect on how utterly perfect the day had been while dancing their last song.
Mr. Elliott went above and beyond to put this day in the charts if best day ever. His actions were filled with passion for his craft of music and people. You could absolutely not go wrong reserving his services for any special day because it is guaranteed he will not allow a single person to leave without having the best time of their life. He is so much more than just a dj.

I was the most excited about our reception, because who doesn’t like a good party and he exceed all our expectations! Best decision ever!
The pressure was on when booking the DJ for our wedding knowing that this decision could make or break the evening. However DJ Dutty Laundry was absolutely fantastic he went above and beyond what we expected he brought out a side of my husband not many people have seen!! Hire this man
The first day I found Dutty Laundry, I told him I was convinced he was the DJ I wanted at our wedding, and I promise, he's the DJ you want too! SPLURGE ON YOUR DJ - ESPECIALLY DUTTY LAUNDRY!!! One of the biggest concerns for my husband and I on our wedding day was that all of our friend groups from different stages of life wouldn't mesh well together but because of this man, that was NOT an issue! I'm biased, but my wedding was the best wedding I've ever attended and a large portion of that is attributed to DJ Dutty Laundry, and just how much hype he brought to our day. Your DJ can make or break your reception and he MADE ours!

Let me start by saying that I am a firm believer that the DJ will make or break a wedding, so I took finding one for our wedding very seriously. I did tons of research and found Ellis (Dutty) and knew I wanted him to be our DJ, so much so that I booked him before I even hired our wedding planner! Ellis is extremely professional and makes sure to have a one-on-one phone call with you prior to your event to discuss all songs from ceremony to last dance, he also took this time to get to know us and our vibes. For our wedding, he was spot on with our vision and kept us, and all of our guests, hyped up the entire night! Our guests have said that they’ve “never felt entertained at a wedding until they went to a Dutty wedding”. Ellis is also great at prioritizing you as a couple and your wishes, while also surprising you in the best ways throughout the night. Even with all of the amazing parts of our wedding night, the most impressive thing about Dutty is that my entire family loved him and want to hire him for any event we may have in the future. We wanted a party & that’s exactly what we got! DJ Dutty Laundry talked to us about what we wanted throughout each stage of wedding planning and when the day came he DELIVERED! We had cold sparks, photo booth, up lighting, etc. - the play list was lit and so many people told me it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding! That’s 100% owed to DJ Dutty Laundry who kept the party going from start to finish. So personable, fun, and very good at what he does! DJ Dutty Laundry is seriously the BEST DJ out there! From the first time I talked with him, I knew he was gonna be our DJ! He is so easy to talk to and I loved that he would check in with us every so often to tell us how amazing our wedding was going to be! He has the best energy and you can see the passion he brings to make sure your wedding night is amazing and that you feel like a king and queen! He had all of our guests out on the dance floor (even my almost 80yr old grandma)! The extras he offers are so worth it too! (FYI…You MUST do the cold sparks… trust me!)
